No stars, didn't eat or drink anything But sat waiting for a good 10 minutes for nothing

We had a wonderful meal at Brasserie Murphy’s last week. From the welcome to the final course, everything was truly fantastic. It is a charming establishment with a lovely ambiance, and the food was of truly top quality. Moreover, the service was incredibly friendly and attentive. For us, it was an absolute hit, and we would love to return here again soon. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys good food and a pleasant evening!

Had a very good meal there. The taste and selection were just a bit better! Nice decor in the restaurant. It was also cozy. Difficult to reach by car. Located in a pedestrian area.

Had a delicious meal and not too expensive. However, this time we had to wait a bit longer for the drinks because a large group had just arrived. This isn't a big deal, but please let us know. Since the group was sitting out of sight, they were neither visible nor audible to the rest of the guests. Otherwise, really great every time.

Lovely little spot for lunch. Huge portions and a wide range of options. The menu is in Dutch so if you don't speak Dutch you will need to translate.

Small soup, ordered croquettes, fries were brought, and it wasn't busy. It was okay, but could have been better. They also forgot to give the discount…

Well, we were allowed to eat here with four people; both steaks were not medium and medium/rare, but definitely well-done. The salad with strips of steak was fine, though a substantial portion. There was nothing to complain about regarding the schnitzel, it was fine. The deep-fried potato side dishes and vegetables could easily be omitted; they weren't an addition, as you already got fries or potato croquettes with everything! One guest at another table who was eating lasagna was shocked when a bag of fries was served with it (later); that is, of course, a bit strange. The two waitresses were extremely friendly and helpful. The decor inside the place is authentic 😜

Restaurant with a peculiar (chaotic) interior. We had the champagne breakfast for two. Very good value for money. Generous breakfast with plenty of toppings, an omelet, and drinks. (No salmon, although it was listed on the website). The music was quite loud for the morning.

On Saturday, May 9, the four of us had a delicious meal at Murphy's. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth repeating.

Recommended for dining with a Social Deal. Good price for tasty food!

Very tasty food and friendly service.

Last Sunday we went to eat at Murphy's, and we were not pleased. Apparently, they had an intern in the kitchen, with the result that many things went wrong. We ordered 8 menus; first a salmon fillet was forgotten, followed by 2 hamburger menus. One was lukewarm, and the second one was raw. ( Only the outside was lightly cooked? Reported it to the staff, and we got a new burger. The next burger wasn't fully cooked again. ( During the smoking break, we spoke to people who were also not happy with the burgers.) So we left this one untouched. The potato croquettes we had ordered along with the burger arrived when some people had almost finished their food. As compensation, one person got a drink on the house. Hahaha. The person who had the raw burger got very sick, stomach pain and fever. So much so that we were in the hospital on Easter Monday morning. I sent an email to Murphys, but they aren't responding at all. I find it scandalous that they treat customers like this, especially since we used to go there often. But we won't be seen there again.

We were a bit late but were still able to get dessert. The atmosphere is great and the service is friendly. And the dessert was delicious. We will definitely go back to try the main course.

The meal salads are only interesting for those who only care about 'quantity'. All salads are surrounded by the same basic ingredients, far from all of which match the type ordered. The salads are unbalanced in terms of composition and lack essential basic ingredients. For example, a Salade Niçoise without a boiled egg, without olive oil. Instead, a very large amount of tuna, not in oil, but in water, which really does not fit a Salade Niçoise. A real shame. With just as much effort (and expertise?), it could have been very good.

We went to a show in Sittard, but to avoid being hungry, we needed something to eat. We made reservations well in advance, as you never know how quickly (or slowly) things will move. We went for the set menu: fresh bread with tapas, followed by salmon, and finished with crème brûlée. All for €32.00. Served very quickly (we had an hour to spare) by the friendly locals in a lovely brasserie setting. Definitely recommended, but above all, 100% value for money.

Heard some lovely music and had a great meal. Finished off with coffee and some delicious side dishes.

Everything was delicious, except the pumpkin soup was really not tasty.

We had a wonderful meal there! A nice big steak, a tasty salad, and hot fries—everything was excellent! Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal at this brasserie tonight. We chose the set menu. As a starter, we were served fresh, still-warm bread with herb butter and olive tapenade. Since one of us is vegetarian, and that wasn't listed on the menu, I could choose between the vegetarian burger or the tagliatelle ariabiatta. I chose the latter, and it was delicious. I also got a salad. For dessert, we chose the delicious tiramisu. They even asked after the second course when we wanted dessert. The service was very friendly. They even opened the front door for us.

Delicious food and great choices with the Social Deal!!! Nothing to complain about. However, the service was less than stellar... They weren't very attentive, and they were already cleaning the toilets and floor early, so I had to walk on a wet floor. I had to finish the wine very quickly because they were apparently closing. I didn't even get a "good day" when I left. It's a shame, because the food was delicious.

We had an excellent meal with very friendly and enthusiastic staff. Highly recommended!

My partner and I dined at Brasserie Murphy's and we really enjoyed it. There was a surprising amount of vegetarian options, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was lovely and warm, and the service was friendly. Highly recommended!

Delicious food, a wide selection, a beautifully decorated restaurant (currently in the Christmas spirit), and friendly and welcoming staff. We took advantage of a great Social Deal.

Sunday breakfast. Very extensive with surprising extras (egg liqueur, chocolate with coffee, etc.), but above all, very friendly and good service! The young men are polite, attentive, and considerate (no pork was respected) and take the time to chat with the elderly. Hats off! Will definitely be back, a gem in Sittard.

Had a healthy sandwich: delicious, nicely presented, and finally a decent portion for the price. Some cafes could learn a thing or two from this. The quiche was also delicious. Very friendly staff!

We ate here as a family with a Social Deal. The restaurant was very busy, and it was a good thing we made a reservation. We think Murphy's offers a very good deal for a reasonable price. The starters were decent and tasty. The main courses (sour meat, sea bass, burgers, and schnitzel) were all delicious. Personally, I prefer the sour meat to be a bit more sour (it was a bit sweet for my taste), but that's a matter of taste, because the meat was excellent. The dishes came with salad and fries, all perfectly presented. Desserts were also excellent; the sundaes were standard scoop ice cream. For the price Murphy's charges, it's a more than excellent three-course meal! Drinks were paid separately and are priced the same as what's currently common everywhere.

Just the two of us had a lovely dinner. The staff was young but friendly, professional, and welcoming. The food was delicious and a good amount. The decorations were also very elaborate, and the interior was beautiful. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Keep up the good work!

As usual, a delicious breakfast. The coffee was good, and the rolls were generously filled. Highly recommended. But unfortunately, today the waitress was wearing a dirndl. I understand the choice during Oktoberfest. But this dress was more appropriate for a bunny bar than a brasserie. It's a shame the waitress made this choice. A more formal dress would have been nicer.

I had a fantastic meal at Brasserie Murphy! The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly. I forgot my bag, and they even sent it all the way to me. So sweet, truly excellent service!

The food was delicious, and the service was very helpful and patient. The only downside was that we'd called a week in advance to ask if they could prepare gluten-free food. Well, that wasn't a problem for them. They had a family member who also had it. So we thought, great, we could eat there, since my daughter has celiac disease (gluten intolerance). We got there and asked what she could eat. We had to explain to them how to make fries gluten-free 🙈 So, people with celiac disease don't have much of a choice here. With our help, it worked out well for my daughter, but they don't know much about preparing gluten-free food themselves.

The food was very tasty and good. The staff was friendly and professional. Customers had dogs in the restaurant that constantly barked at people who entered. It ruined the whole dining experience. Dogs don't belong in restaurants.

Nothing good to report unfortunately. Came here very early for the affordable champagne breakfast. Fine to do, you know what you get in that price-quality ratio. This week both the food and the service were really crap unfortunately.

Asparagus soup, pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce and ice cream caramel dessert eaten. The dishes were really super tasty and with many extras. Such as bread and butter with the soup, raw vegetable salad, potato gratin, fries, potato croquette etc. Starter and main course eaten with a view of 'shopping' people and the dessert on the quiet, nice and cool (temperature around 29 degrees) (back) terrace. The staff were very friendly and attentive (the dishes were served at the 'appropriate speed). In summary; a restaurant / brasserie with super tasty dishes for a friendly price and staff 10 / 10. And we put this restaurant / brasserie on the list of favorite eateries.

Afgelopen weekend bracht ik een bezoek aan Brasserie Murphy’s en ik was aangenaam verrast door het vernieuwde terras aan de achterkant. Het is gezellig ingericht met nieuwe, comfortabele stoelen en ligt heerlijk rustig. Een ideale plek om even te ontsnappen aan de drukte en echt tot rust te komen. Ik ging voor de croque brie en die was echt heerlijk. Perfect gegrild, rijkelijk belegd en de combinatie met de zoete toets van honing maakte het helemaal af. Een aanrader voor wie eens iets anders wil dan de klassieke croque. Alles werd geserveerd met de glimlach en je merkt aan alles dat het team hun werk met zorg en plezier doet. Kortom, Brasserie Murphy’s is absoluut een bezoek waard. Het eten is lekker, de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding zit goed, de bediening is vriendelijk en het terras is een echte troef. Ik kom zonder twijfel nog eens terug.

Deze brasserie in het centrum van Sittard is een absolute aanrader voor wie houdt van lekker eten in een gezellige setting. De sfeer bij Brasserie Murphy’s is warm en uitnodigend, ideaal voor een ontbijt met je partner, een lunch met vrienden of een gezellig diner met familie. De bediening is vriendelijk en attent. Ik koos voor de Hamburger Murphy's. Perfect gebakken, heerlijk sappig en rijk van smaak. Een aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van een goede burger. De verse frieten en de frisse salade maakten het bord compleet. Wat Brasserie Murphy’s echt onderscheidt, is de combinatie van goede service, een ontspannen sfeer en een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Of je nu local bent of een dagje uit in Sittard, deze plek mag je niet missen!

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere.

Today we went to Murphy's for a birthday dinner. The starters were a good size. Of the main courses, the salads stand out the most. Large deep plates and excellent quality. The steak was fine and the served fries were nice and crispy. The fajita pollo was nicely presented and tasted great. The schnitzel was quite small and didn't taste that good. Certainly compared to the rest. The pasta was unfortunately more than al dente, which resulted in a lesser meal...

Gastvrije zaak, netjes en goed verzorgde gerechten. Een voorbeeld van prima service en kwaliteit. Social Deal gebruikt en helemaal in orde en zeker geen uitgekleed voordeelarrangement zoals je wel eens treft bij concurrenten. Vlees was mals en goed gegrild, hamburger top!

An update: Eating for the 2nd time. The 3-course choice menu no longer serves a salad, because the customers don't eat it!?, according to the service. It is on the menu. A very strange decision.

Very tasty and good food (via social deal) but that doesn't matter. Good and tasty dishes, normal portions (sometimes you have adjusted quantities at social deal), fast, customer-friendly, very friendly service.

The coffee is very tasty, hot and very affordable. For a good price you get a cookie and a generous eggnog. Other things can certainly follow this example. The decor is very cozy and the staff friendly. Highly recommended for every coffee lover! :)

It's just good, it was nice, nice weather, and you could sit on the terrace. And d3 salad was tasty.

Generally not a bad place, but quality of food and service should be much better. Some dished were good, but the shrimps in one of the dishes were borderline beyond the end of the shelf life and smelled appropiately. When it was pointed out and we asked to cook to take a look, we did not get any reaction. Even if we were mistaken - there should be a check done since it is a risk for other customers. Of course, the dish was added to the bill in full. I am ok with paying for it since it was borderline bad, but a reaction from the staff when such feedback was received is a must.
