Very nice atmosphere. We were able to have a Caesar salad which was really generous. Overall, everything seemed plentiful and the price was right.

Today the weather is great so I have to sit on the terrace for a while, it is too busy, the order does not come through correctly, the order is white bread instead of brown bread without cutlery, which I have to wait another 10 minutes for, my husband is now done and the promised brown sandwich never comes again

Stumbled on this place on a walk around Amsterdam around lunchtime. Beautiful looking place with a tree-shaded terrace at the front. Went in and received top notch service, amazing food and surprisingly enough for a Brit they even knew what a shandy was. Definitely recommend if you are out this way.

Nice atmosphere, especially on a nice day when you can sit out. The food was a bit disappointing unfortunately, not sure if they have a dinner menu. I would say more of an outdoor drinks and a simpler snack kind of place.

Very nice terrace. We went for the games, but they're under repair. We couldn't eat because we arrived at a time when drinks are only allowed. Still, the waiter was very friendly.

Last Saturday morning, we received a wonderful welcome during the Pride Walk. What initially was just a bathroom break turned into a delicious cappuccino and beer for friends. We'll definitely be back.

Hey, here I am again, a great place to sit. I once (must have been 2015? 2016?) spoke to someone called Nel. Nice woman, around 40 at the time. I wonder how she is doing. Was going through a divorce and such. Nice place, the food is fine but not special. Ate pasta pesto, not necessarily very fresh but just fine.

Salmon was good. Pearl couscous is not my thing, but I did eat some. I missed potato wedges or fries with it.

We chose Brasserie Nel as the last dinner we would have in Amsterdam and it was the perfect choice. We ordered the buratta, the salmon (perfectly cooked) and the Argentinan pasta as our mains and the chocolate creme brûlée (spectacular) for dessert. Everything was delicious! The waitress was friendly and had excellent recommendations. The cocktails were also a cut above. Sitting outside in the tree-filled square with views of the canal and the architecture was delightful. Lots of outdoor seating. 10/10.

Really nice location for an informal meal or an aperitif. The dishes are unpretentious, but amply compensated by the view and the helpfulness of the staff.

Same experience as Riekje van Albeda, also 1 week ago. In our case an extremely unfriendly, arrogant young man in the service, while your service is usually very friendly.

Love nell. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. The best of nell is the service. Here you rarely have to wait for the bill. Always a place to sit. The inside is very well though off. Creates a nice and cozy atmosphere. On summer days, the outside makes one of the nicest places in Amsterdam. Perhaps the food it's the weak point. It's not bad but not great either.

Had a fantastic meal, carpaccio with parmesan and wild garlic pesto, it was really very tasty. The cappuccino was also nice. The atmosphere is lovely, at least outside it is. I'll be back.

Real charming location with a nice terrasse and brasserie style inside with a eating area. Food is really good for the price considering the area and well executed. The monkfish and smoked cabbage dish is a definite highlight, flavour rich and soft fish. The vongole spaghetti is a simpler dish but again really well executed, tasty with lots of clams. Wine list is short but balanced - cheaper offerings are your standard staples but slightly upscale has good examples. Try the gruner veltliner from Ramspeck & Kracher a great example of its kind

Great terrace in the breathtaking canal belt of Amsterdam. The place serves relatively straightforward Dutch snacks and lunch dishes. However especially the service is worth calling out. Nice crew that take a real effort to deliver real customer service. Rare in Amsterdam.

Awful experience, after asking for a song request they said they finished at 2am which is fine but continued to play at 2.51am , after asking about this they physically removed me which is not kind and never tried to talk to me about this issue. Shame as was a good club to start, but paying €1 for the toilet after spending €200 euro on drinks which is awful, sorry but not great experience, , don’t come again. Don’t reccend.

Croquette is fine, service ok, no sugar with the coffee, heating too low, strange dressing for the cup garnish (anno 1998). Chef sneezes several times without sneezing into his elbow, and does not wash his hands afterwards. Soup is in an au bain Marie, it is almost 2025, not 1998, not good man. Restaurant Kort, and later Janvier were both top restaurants, now it is a kind of old beach bar with too little excitement dishes.

Centrally located on the Prinsengracht. We arrived at 7:11 pm, But there was no dinner available, despite the advertising panels outside. Out of necessity, we only ordered a snack and crudités. Free taps of water. Good and fast service. Large well-kept terrace. Atmospheric for generally young people.

Nice place for a group. Kids can play at the nearby playground. Drinks and food are ok. However, they have a different menu for both sides of the brasserie.

We ordered 2 mojitos. They brought them after 25 minutes despite the fact that there were not many clients at the bar. The drinks were poorly made, they had no alcohol at all, no sugar, just water with limes. We informed them the waiter about this, and he didn’t have the decency to apologise. He just brought us the bill.

It's in a nice closed off street, very relaxing, watching out over the canal and the service was great. The food was amazing, which is always true for a small menu.

Highly recommend Brasserie Nel! My partner and I had a lovely dinner, which was priced exceptionally. I had the bavette, and my partner had mussels, which were on special. His mussels came out in their own crock; easily 80-100 of them, and the market price was less than my steak! In the US that amount would have easily been $50, and here it only cost about half that! Everything else was great, and service was attentive. The patio was also nice, the atmosphere felt very tranquil despite being in the city.

The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was good, creating an enjoyable dining experience. The staff were polite and helpful, but they seemed overwhelmed by the high volume of customers.

A waiter added more tips than I asked him to include and showed me the terminal only after payment. A small thing, but spoils impression.

Very nice place on the Amstelveld next to and in a historic church. The location of the terrace is fantastic. There are vegetarian and vegan options, which is great! There is room for improvement in the quality of the food and service, but all in all it is a very nice place for a drink, especially.

This one is about the K-day party yesterday! It was great how the door policy was arranged this time, which made it easy to manage and without chaos on the site itself. Great prices for the beer too; We all know that it is more expensive than before and otherwise you can enjoy your own drinks outside the premises. But... those 40 minute queues (!) for the toilets are really unacceptable, that has to be better guys... more toilets, just like at Pride, everything always goes well there! Still 5 stars because I had a great time with you again😘

Far too few toilets during King's Day for the number of visitors. You pay 1.50 euros, but you cannot wash your hands.
