Brasserie Olivier in Bilthoven Zuid Oost

What a cozy place! We came from Limburg and had lunch. Both the club sandwich and the pulled pork were delicious! And we felt very welcome. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop by. The interior was very atmospheric.

It's odd that you get addressed with 'hey' as a customer. We had ordered regular and shrimp croquettes on bread to swap. The presentation of the plate was very bare. The size of the bread was also very different. We also found it very noisy. All in all, not a great experience!

We had a lovely lunch on the terrace in the sun. We had a salad, which was really excellent. Unfortunately, parking nearby requires a parking disc. We were enjoying ourselves so much on the terrace that we had to go to the car a few times to move the parking disc :-)

Only had coffee, but the service was super friendly. A very atmospheric and stylish setting. I would love to come back here for dinner sometime.

I ordered a club burger. The meat was extremely red inside, really raw. I returned it to the waitress; she suggested I have a new one made. A perfectly fine solution, I thought. The burger then came back, but it was clearly the same burger, just reheated, and this time without sauce. That's sloppy enough, but what made it even more strange was the waitress's comment that the burger "wasn't double-charged." That seems pretty logical to me if a dish is returned to the kitchen for improper preparation. If something goes back to the kitchen for a valid reason, make sure it's properly re-served. I'm the last person to be in favor of wasting food, but you do pay for a good and complete meal.

Previously worth the full 5 stars. Unfortunately, today it was significantly less than previous times. We had lunch and both chose the Club Olivier chicken thigh. The sandwiches were very small, and there were tons of chips on the plate. Probably everything was served too hastily. Unfortunately, only 3 stars this time.

Stopped in for a late late lunch before a meeting in Bilthoven and had an outstanding experience. The staff was warm and welcoming, much like the interior design and atmosphere. The sliced beef in my poke was perfectly medium rare and sat atop a fresh, healthy mix of rice and grilled veg. This was my first time at Olivier, but the owner (who was absolutely charming) disclosed that she had only recently taken over the space. It was easy to sense her passion for the business, so I'll most certainly be back to explore the menu

A pleasant place to have lunch. With good weather there is a nice terras. Next to the railway station.

Hamburger was very delicious 😋 Staff & service very good. The ambience was a bit noisy, playing soeme backgrounds music could help a bit, maybe?

Stopped twice for coffee with the cycling club. Friendly staff.

The OlivierBurger is exceptionally good, the meat AND the preparation with an egg. I simply had to order mustard; I lived in the US for years and that is particularly strange to me. NOT A SINGLE restaurant in the US serves a hamburger without mustard and ketchup; it is already on the table almost everywhere. Just look at Seinfeld, Thelma and Louise; there is always a yellow and a red bottle on the table, absolutely everywhere. That is how you eat a hamburger, but anyway, it doesn't matter. I got the mustard, and it was heavenly. The coffee is also TOP-NOTCH!!! No brand is better than Illy, not because of the coffee itself, but because of everything that goes with it, the whole culture. Illy is a kind of university of coffee; they master everything: the water, how fine the coffee is, how hard it is tamped, the pressure and the evolution of the water pressure, the temperature, the proportions of coffee vs. water. It is no coincidence. Furthermore, the service is very good.

A good spot that’s located nearby the train station. The food was good, they were not thrifty with the toppings 😊 I would come back here

Great location. When the sun is shining, you can enjoy sitting on the terrace. Friendly staff. A ham and cheese toastie is €7.95. Just two slices of ham and cheese. Nothing special. 8 bitterballen (Dutch meatballs) are €8.75. Also nothing special. Very steep prices, though.

Nice place for a coffee and something tasty

Zeer slechte bediening, dat wordt meerdere malen hier beschreven. Ze lopen langs je heen en je kan zwaaien of vragen,het helpt niet. Geen bestelling te plaatsen of de rekening te betalen. Wel heel gezellig aan het kletsen met vaste gasten. Dan staat er ook nog een dame te schreeuwen achter de bar of bedienend personeel zin in cla heeft. Bizar, dat deze zaak nog klanten heeft

Tried to have lunch here without success. Service ignores customers, easily lets them wait half an hour and reacts bewildered when you finally leave. Strange place.

Good coffee on a sunny terrace. What more could a person want? Slightly faster service perhaps?

Salade geitenkaas klein 13,95. Te klein, zelfs met half stukje stokbrood met honing. Te weinig geitenkaas. Illy zwarte koffie slap. Waarom glaasje water erbij? Erna naar toilet. Afknapper de ranzig versleten mat bij ingang .. Volgende keer bij de buren maar weer naar het Zusje...

Beautiful brasserie where an "early dinner" is given on Friday evenings. An honest bite for a reasonable price. Open every day except Monday. Suitable for business lunches and can even be rented for parties. The interior is a kind of warm living room with a large terrace outside. Recommended.

Very noisy, a cacophony of loud noises from customers. For this reason alone we left almost immediately. Ordered a young cheese sandwich. Young cheese is light in color, this one was dark in color and tasteless. We were passing through so we won't be back, but we would have been better off getting a sandwich at a gas station.

A very nice location for a pleasant and delicious meal. The only disadvantage is the acoustics, which amplify normal sounds to an annoying level.

We were with a large group for lunch. It took a long time for the ordered food to arrive. Bread was missing. Staff did their best. All very, very young.

Lovely staff, delicious soup. Indonesian mini buffet.

Waiting staff is young and inexperienced. Although there is good will, things continue to make do. Lunch menu is okay, but no more than that in terms of choice. Atmosphere experience limited. There is not much more choice in Bilthoven than this establishment.

Van te voren gereserveerd en kreeg een vriendelijke medewerker aan de lijn. Vandaag met twee geluncht,. Heerlijk knapperig broodje met zalm en een broodje carpaccio. De broodjes werden mooi opgediend, en de bediening was zeer vriendelijk. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Zeer sfeervolle locatie met lekker eten, zeker een aanrader.

Super luxe koffie gedronken, compleet met glaasje water en apart melkkannetje. Was niet goedkoop ,maar je krijgt luxe.

Slechte en slordige bediening, ws hulpkrachten. Of ze ons niet vergeten waren.... paar keer vragen voor de bestelling..ws was de eigenaresse niet aanwezig. De prijzen zijn fors gestegen, jammer !

Okay place to take a typical Dutch lunch. Outside and inside seats. Frequently full around lunch time.

We hebben heerlijk van de zon en de drankjes genoten op het terras. De cappuccino was lekker, de iced coffee was nog lekkerder!

Quiet Sunday afternoon, not busy. Sitting inside, and the waiter split a tray of coke and other drinks down my shirt back and onto my chair. Didn't apologise, or bring tissues, or anything. He just walked off and hid at the other end of the cafe until we went. Smashed glass was lying around my feet. Ordered iced coffees that were also expensive and stupidly tiny.

Tijd terug hier gegeten met een aantal collega’s. Menukaart is prima, het eten ook en bediening was vriendelijk. We zaten op het terras maar dat is niet per se een heel gezellig terras op deze locatie. Binnen in de brasserie zit je denk ik een stuk gezelliger en is de sfeer beter. Eveneens vond ik het eten niet recht doen aan de prijs, ik heb wel eens betere burgers gehad en vaak ook nog voor minder. Eveneens was drinken vrij aan de prijs. De prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is m.i. dan ook licht ondermaats. Al met al prima, maar niet wat je ervan mag verwachten denk ik.

Even wat gedronken. Prettige sfeer.

Een wereld zaak , Vriedelijk personeel en aandacht voor de mens. Met een goede menu keuze welke bij ieder gerecht ongeacht wat er besteld wordt voor 100% aandacht. Kortom ga zo door . Mvg. Bert spies

Leuk restaurant, de hele dag door zit je hier prima. Fijne bediening!

Het eten is altijd goed en lekker. De laatste keer had ik een dag van tevoren besteld om af te halen en daar ging het helaas mis. Bij het ophalen van de bestelling bleek deze niet doorgekomen te zijn. De betaling was wel verwerkt. Gelukkig waren ze er snel mee aan de slag gegaan om het klaar te maken, jammer genoeg was door deze snelle bereiding het een en ander vergeten. Ik kwam daar pas later thuis achter. De 3 pokébowls hadden geen dressing en de extra bestelde seizoensvruchten bij de wentelteefjes waren ook vergeten. Les voor mij om de bestelling te controleren voor vertrek.

This is a wonderful lunch spot with good local food choices. It reminded me of my Dutch heritage. We enjoyed our lunch.

Weer een heerlijke lunch.... Thans nog in de Kwinkelier ontbijt 1 juni 2018. Nu op 11 april 2019 ook in de nieuwe zaak, buiten de Kwinkelier nog steeds goesting en.............. succes met deze mooie zaak. Ja nu op 17 februari 2020 voor de lunch....ze zijn nu ook nog perfect. Nu zelfs nog 31 augustus . Ook op 19 april 2023...heerlijk Asperges en Kippendij

2x latte macciato, de tweede was lekker heet, 1e 'slechts' warm. Komt vaker voor helaas. Koffie/prijsverhouding gewoon oké.

Fijne plek, heerlijk eten en uiterst vriendelijk personeel. We komen hier met enige regelmaat lunchen (Club Olivier kip, is al jaren favoriet!) en een bordspel spelen, dat bevalt altijd goed. De ijskoffie is ook erg lekker! Wij komen zeker terug.

Zat 1 klant dus niet druk maar heb 15 min moeten wachten op een kop koffie en warme chocomelk die lauw/koud was . 2x boterhammen met 2 eieren ook niet een culinair hoogstandje maar wel ff 30 euries. En het was ook koud . En het was ook koud daarbinnen we hebben snel gegeten om in de auto warm te worden moest nl nog 2 uur wachten op behandeling in zhs.maar wilden dat wel in de warmte doen..

Gingen na winkelen even koffie drinken daar. Bij betaling schrokken we wat te betalen voor 1 klein stukje chocolade gebakje: € 5,95 en € 1,00 voor de slagroom. Totaal € 14,15!!!

No surprises re food and prices in this place. Light and pleasant to sit in, friendly young staff, good quality food. Standard menu - You cannot go wrong which is sometimes precisely what you want.

Sfeervol aangekleed, vriendelijke bediening die beried was je tegemoet te komen ivm net ff andere wensen voor de pokébowl. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en hadden het met Direstraits muziek op de achtergrond prima naar ons zin op deze mooie locatie! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Bijzonder gastvrije brasserie. Na een warme ontvangst aan een fijne rustige tafel op comfortabele stoelen. Het drie gangen keuzemenu bevatte voor elk wat wils, elk gerecht rijkelijk gevarieerd en in ruime porties. De bediening is meedenkend en houdt je mogelijke wensen in de gaten maar is nooit opdringerig. Heel fijn en gezellig. Parkeren kon zelfs pal voor de deur en na 1800 nog gratis ook.
