There's no menu on their website, which is really strange. With one vegetarian in the house, you want to know what they have to offer. And not just settle for a brie salad, tomato soup, or a vegetarian schnitzel. So I started reading the reviews. They're absolutely terrible. I wouldn't go there. Thanks, reviewers!

We had a delicious meal here, and the coffee is truly excellent. Definitely recommended!

I just arrived at the terrace and was still standing at the table when I was asked what I'd like to drink. When I said I'd like to look at the menu first, the waiter made a strange face and turned around without saying anything. We just walked on.

We regularly visit this brasserie, and normally, we're not very impressed with the kitchen. Sloppy dressing and no effort is usually the norm. Now, I think there's a new owner, and the terrace looks lovely. The service could be better, but the plates were beautifully presented, and we were very pleasantly surprised. That's worth mentioning. We'll definitely see you next time!

We zaten rustig wat te drinken. Keurige bediening. Ik liet mijn zomervest aan de stoel hangen... het was achter weggelegd. Blij met deze oplettende bediening. Fijn.

Terribly bad food, expensive, and absolutely poor quality. At checkout, they didn't even ask if it had been made or offer a thank you and goodbye. A waste of money!

The first and last time I visited this brasserie: what a disgrace. My table companion ordered a cappuccino and I ordered a Coke Zero. After 20 minutes, the not-so-friendly waiter/manager arrived with a Radler and a Coke. In my opinion, a cappuccino is not even close to a Radler, and a Coke Zero is not a regular Coke. Twenty minutes later, the correct drinks arrived. When ordering, the person taking the order didn't listen properly. As a result, my table companion almost received a tuna salad instead of a tuna sandwich. The brie salad was disappointing: half a head of salad on the plate, a few bell pepper strips, three half a hard tomato, and three slices of brie. Price/quality ratio: too expensive. And I had also ordered fries, which I didn't receive. Meanwhile, my companion waited for her tuna sandwich. And a sparkling water bottle. I had already half-eaten my salad. And then the waiter came back to tell me, bluntly, that the roll had become too hard and they had to make a new one. Excuse me? Pre-baked rolls don't need half an hour to bake. My table companion was more pleased with her roll at the previous restaurant, now disappointing. I called the waiter again to ask why the sparkling water remained blue. And the waitress said she would pass it on to her colleague. Well, we never got that sparkling water. When we paid, the receipt was also incorrect. It's a shame I have to share this experience. Perhaps there are a few things to consider/improve for the future. But you certainly won't see us here again.

First and last time visited. No welcome when you enter, we had to ask ourselves if we could sit down. Takes a really long time before they even come and ask if we would like something to drink? Then ordered food that was not even warm anymore and poor quality. When paying, it also seems to me not superfluous as staff that you say "thank you and have a nice day" to your customers!!

Went for a glass of coke with a friend. I was pleasantly surprised by the downright rude, clumsy service from the young woman in charge. The business certainly hasn't improved since the takeover.

It is a very pleasantly decorated Brasserie. The cappuccio starter was super tasty. The rabbit main course looked delicious. The rabbit, however, tasted of nothing while the sauce was delicious, but the structure of the rabbit was not meaty but just a mousse like mashed potatoes. The waitress was very sweet and apologized and offered us a free drink as compensation. We declined this because it was not necessary for us as we had already had enough to drink. Maybe the meat was not so good, was her option, but she immediately reported it to the cook. When we returned, the waitress said that the chef will taste it tomorrow! I don't know if we will go back there again because apparently the cook or the manager is not interested that you go home with a disappointing feeling of nausea. The ice cream dessert with eggnog and the coffee were very good

I wanted to have a cup of coffee here with a client in a wheelchair. I had to maneuver quite a bit, but I managed to get a seat at a table. The girl serving was leaning on the bar watching my struggle but didn't think to ask if she could help. Unfortunately all the pie was gone so I decided to go somewhere else. Can happen. Even now there is no attempt to help. As I walked out she sarcastically commented 'thanks for straightening the chairs'. I was astounded and spoke to her about this. No excuses whatsoever. The owner came over and instead of apologizing for the downright rude behavior of the staff, he defended her and blamed me for not asking for help…. Well, not the approach I'm used to in the catering industry... Of course this is not useful from a business point of view. Every dissatisfied customer takes 10 customers in his wake, research shows. Never again for me of course.

Had dinner there on September 5th Just the last time. Black mushrooms, pickled meat, more onions than meat and no mention of that porridge-thick salted tomato soup. Lunch is better, delicious toastie

We ate here for the first time and unfortunately it is also the last time. It took a very long time for our food to be served. When we placed our order, not even a greeting or smile was given and the staff did not make eye contact. To make matters worse, the bill also contained things that we had not ordered at all. This was a very disappointing experience.

Bad thing! Order was a Rib-eye rare fried, but it was fully cooked. Staff were clearly "Not-amused" when I commented on this claiming this was their "weird" way of cooking. Not recommended..

Nice sitting on the terrace, but no one comes to take an order, let alone bring a card. Other tables around us also left after a long wait. If you don't have any staff, close the shack.

Yesterday I was verbally attacked by a waiter on the terrace about a complaint I reported a few weeks ago about poor service. This complaint has not been handled satisfactorily. I then discussed it with his colleague. He now wants to refuse me access to the terrace....Moreover, he also tells lies, because he only heard everything. In short, a very bad experience. That's not how you treat customers!!!!!

Vandaag aangevallen (mondeling)door ober over een klacht die ik enkele weken geleden heb ingediend over de slechte bediening! Deze klacht is niet naar tevredenheid opgelost.Heb ik met zijn collega besproken. Hij wil mij nu de toegang weigeren op terras. Daarbij vertelt hij ook nog leugens, terwijl hij het van horen zeggen heeft.Dus, zeer slechte ervaring. Zo ga je niet met klanten om!!!!

Vroeger was ‘t Schip een hoogstandje, vandaag echter viel het zwaar tegen. Allereerst een zeer jonge dame die amper kon praten, wij kregen dan ook antwoord door een nee-schuddend hoofd. Terwijl er gewoon toast op de kaart staat, was het niet mogelijk om een geroosterde boterham te krijgen bij het gerecht. Ik kreeg dus een sponzige witte boterham en erg droge champignons bij mijn uitsmijter. Mijn vriendin had een club sandwich met zwarte bacon en erg droge kip. Toen wij dit achteraf meldden bij de mannelijke serveerder , kwam er wel een excuus maar echter geen oplossing. Resultaat, met enorme buikpijn en misselijkheid naar bed kunnen gaan.

The operator is certainly not a catering man. Only greet people when they are standing in front of the bar. Complains loudly with kitchen help about own staff. Food was mediocre. First and last time for us.

Als op de menukaart een "twaalfuurtje" staat, gaat mijn voorkeur daar naar uit. Je moet wel altijd afwachten wat de kwaliteit daarvan is. Nou daar hoeft men hier niet bang voor te zijn, die is top. Aangezien ik geen viseter ben, werd het brood met tonijnsalade makkelijk omgewisseld voor brood met brie, gegarneerd met honing en walnoten. Het was geweldig

Heerlijke koffie en gezelligheid

Lunch besteld, zgn twaalfuurtje. Aangelegde tomatensoep wat nergens heen smaakt, kroket op brood was meer bindmiddel dan vleeskroket, maar wel lekkere tonijnsalade. De eerste keer hier gegeten, maar gelijk de laatste keer.

Lang moeten wachten op drinken en eten (weinig pesoneel, begrijpelijk) , wel lekker gegeten 7,5.

Prima bediening en ik kan niet anders zeggen dat alles zeer goed smaakte. De porties zijn voor mij echter te klein.

Leuke plek om te zitten maar niet heel bijzonder. Bediening is vriendelijk maar komt wat bot over: "wat willen jullie drinken" en hoofdzakelijk naar het apparaatje staren voor de bestelling (niet aankijken). Zelf echt ik meer waarde aan vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid. Het broodje brie was lekker en best veel. De kroketten vielen wat tegen. Er zat weinig vlees in de kroketten en ze werden geserveerd met 2 gewone sneetjes witbrood. Niks bijzonders en dus eigenlijk te duur voor wat je krijgt. Hier had ik gehoopt op 2 dikke rundvleeskrotten waar je twee sneetjes huisgemaakt bruinbrood mee kunt vullen. Lokaties is prima.

Heerlijk plekje om te zitten en te genieten van heerlijke gerechten. Netjes en schoon . Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Een echte aanrader.

Ober staat al naast je voordat je de kaart in handen hebt, en blijft zelfs staan als je vraagt "of je even de kaart mag bekijken". Bij de vraag of hij misschien wat water voor de hond had, zei hij: dan breng ik dat mee als ik jullie drankjes kom brengen" en bleef vervolgens gewoon staan.

Is een aardige plaats om even een kopje koffie, thee of een drankje te nuttigen. Markt van Beek wint nou eenmaal niet de schoonheidsprijs
