Everything on the menu looked great, but unfortunately, of the three cocktails we requested (all on the menu), only one was available. The food was very poorly cooked and definitely frozen. The olives, for example, were simply thrown into a bowl with "olive water" and not even drained. The waitress simply threw the food down. Sorry, not again.

A really nice place to sit, with friendly service. The food (the 12-hour fish and vegetarian option) was delicious. The cappuccino and Latte Machiato were also good. Parking 🅿️ underneath/next to the restaurant is free for the first two hours 🆓.

Definitely don't go. Normally I never complain about dirt. I got a glass of coke and poured it (1 quarter full) and then I saw dirt on the rim of the glass. No solution was offered, I only got a clean glass. The salad with a dish had to be paid extra, this was not mentioned when they asked. Fries with a dish were 3.50. The 'bread' that you could choose with it were watery, limp sandwiches. There was a hair in the container of fries (which was also limp) I said this and the owner's reaction was "oh annoying, too bad, nothing can be done about it, could also be yours". Well it certainly wasn't, the only one with that kind of hair was in the kitchen... No solution.... The owners were very unfriendly and unprofessional. That makes having a hair in the food and a dirty glass even worse. Never going here again. I feel dirty after eating here. I brushed my teeth and rinsed my mouth right away when I got home. It was also very expensive for what we got. The food had no quality.

Wat een slechte tent.. eigenaar kan niet lachen de honden!! Van de eigenaar lopen rond in hetv(restaurant) had een 12uurtje vis.. de soep was zuur. De kroket afmeting aardappel kroket was nog koud. Drinkglas vies... en erg onvriendelijk personeel. Ik zou zeggen deze zaak zeer zeker links laten liggen...

Wat een afgang deze zaak. Mensen ga hier niet naar toe want de dame weet niet hoe een fijne lunch te serveren Overal ter wereld krijg je ketjap en mayo bij je tosti’s in deze zaak krijg je een tosti’s met een aangebrand ei erboven op met een asrand de dooier zeer hard dit word gepresenteerd op een plank geen sausjes geen frisse sla stukje tomaat niks Dan twee kroketten met brood,,, ook dit op een plank twee gewone boterhammen een blokje boter 5 gram geen mosterd geen mayo geen afwerking met wat frisse sla of tomaat helemaal niks zelfs in een frituur word dit beter gepresenteerd 20 euro a.u.b. Ik adviseer deze dame een andere job te zoeken zij weet duidelijk niet hoe een bord te presenteren. In het verleden daar nog geweest toen was het perfeckt waarschijnlijk nieuwe uitbaters of geldgebrek blijf er weg zijn geld niet waard

Vriendelijke ontvangst en 2 x 12 uurtje besteld was niet druk 6 tafeltjes, was lang wachten 35 min. 12 uurtje vlees, bah ! kroket in oud frituurvet gebakken, onherkenbaar soepje. 12 uurtje vis garnaal kroket of iets dergelijks ook oud frituurvet gebakken, vissoepje zure smaak met keiharde worteltjes en er lagen hiha witte elastiekjes in wij dachten inktvis ringen, verder een vies zuur vissalade niet te eten, was een wonder de sla was vers. We komen vaak in Terneuzen maar schuttershof slaan we voortaan over.

Had coffee with a small group, the coffee was fine, no cookie or something like that, €2.75 which is not expensive these days.

Never again, unsanitary. There are dogs inside on the chairs. And in the kitchen people wear artificial nails (without gloves). Haccp is hard to find.

I had a goat cheese salad, personally I thought it was small. But the taste was good.

With the 12-hour meal we received, one person had received a crust of bread. When we said something about it, the owner aggressively took the plate out of our hands and looked ugly and didn't even apologize. We will never come back here again.

Friendly staff, nicely decorated, in reasonable weather, sit outside in a sheltered position, especially if you smoke, a blanket against the cold is ready for you

Echt wel een mooie zaak. Alhoewel een achtergrondmuziekje de sfeer wel tot zijn recht zou laten komen. Absoluut vriendelijke bediening. We hadden deze Brasserie geselecteerd op basis van de kaart op de website, lees: omdat ze spare ribs op de kaart hadden staan. Ze kwamen er zelf 5 minuten nadat we besteld hadden achter dat die helemaal niet op de kaart stonden: “De website is verouderd.”. Dient bij opgemerkt te worden dat de kaart er toch ook al zeker 5 jaar oud / erg slordig uit zag. Vervolgens gekozen voor de “mixed grill”. Vooraf hadden we om een broodmandje gevraagd. De Italiaanse Bol was een beetje warm, de 4 minimale stukjes mini-stokbrood waren ijskoud. De kruidenboter bleek bikkelhard. We kregen voor de 3 verschillende tapas 2 messen …. . Toen de mixed grill ter tafel kwam, schoten de tranen spontaan in ons ogen. De naam “mixed grill” mocht het echt niet dragen. Als het al gegrilld was geweest, was het echt maar een klein mixed grilletje geweest. Kwam nog bij dat het bijna geen smaak had en dat de pepersaus hetzelfde probleem had. Alles was ook nog eens net niet warm genoeg. Af te rekenen voor dit “gerechtje” euro 23. Het glas bij de Leffe Blond was warm, het getapte glas Heineken haalde echt ruimschoots niet de 25cl en het schuim was vier vingers geweest, maar toen het op tafel kwam nog maar 2. Toen de bediening kwam afruimen hebben we op de vraag “Heeft het gesmaakt?” netjes laten weten: “Het viel enorm tegen.”. Antwoord van de bediening: “Dat is jammer. Wilt U nog een dessert?”. We hebben maar om de rekening gevraagd. Iets later zagen we de eigenaresse van achter bar komen ….. , om vervolgens aan de andere kant van de zaak bij gasten aan tafel uit een flesje te gaan staan lurken.

The relationship between the price and what you get is not really in proportion. Mix grill 1: 2 pieces of pork and 1 piece of beef. Not really a mixed grill. Mixed grill 2: 1 piece of chicken, 1 piece of pork and a piece of beef. 1 x Chicken satay, nothing wrong with that. 1 x steak nothing wrong with that. 1 x the pork tenderloin, which was certainly super small. After saying something about this, we received 1 piece. Well resolved. Waiting time was over 40 minutes, which was a bit of a shame. Everything else was good, staff was also friendly.

Had lunch here today for the first and last time. We ordered spaghetti around 12 noon and it only arrived 45 minutes later... There was little sauce on the spaghetti that was not properly warm. We asked for extra sauce, it only arrived 10 minutes later...

Used pulled pork sandwich and coffee. Coffee excellent, pulled sandwich excellent in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the plate was stone cold, so the warm meat and sauce were immediately completely cold. The sandwich was nice and warm so it wasn't due to the fact that it wasn't heated properly. Upon entering I was welcomed by a small dog. I feared a lot of yapping but this turned out not to be the case. Friendly creature that stayed quiet and was tied up as soon as it got busier. Considering the current prices everywhere, what I paid, 14.95 for the sandwich and two coffees, was quite reasonable. Toilet was neat but not special. None of the workers asked if I liked it, was satisfied or whatever. Weren't unfriendly but it doesn't make anyone feel very welcome.

Very bad thing, staff is lazily looking at their mobile phone in the kitchen and bar. Also only 4 tables occupied. Children's ice cream takes a long time to make: 2 scoops and some speckles in a bowl After the order has been taken, an apple dumpling takes about 23 minutes to arrive. And not really warm yet. No music, very dead in the case. Glasses were also not clean everywhere on the other table

The place was empty except for 1 other couple. The waitress kept talking to that couple for fifteen minutes and just looked us out of the place. We were not spoken to at all. Felt so unwelcome. We left after fifteen minutes of being watched and further ignored. The entry was also not a success. The black mat in front of the restaurant was roughened and I tripped over it. Really dangerous. There was no response to that either.

12 o'clock, the soup was delicious, the egg cold and the croquette lukewarm, just like the tea. Staff was polite, but not very friendly or cheerful.

From the moment we entered the restaurant untill we left, the experience was terrible. waited 10min before we where even asked if we want something to drink (waiter looks at us, smile and walks away). eventually when we where helped the food was good, however not asked if there was something else we need...like sauce, drinks etc..... we waited anoter good 15min after we finished eating our food and again no service afterwards. just the see the staff was sitting at their own table leaving one waiter running around to serve the whole restaurant. i am no expert on client service but it make or break the experience! the table next to use also order coffee and waited very long for the order they quickly drank their coffe and left immediately 😳.

Small brasserie, cozy, atmospheric. Friendly owner and service. Good prices. As a snack expert, I provide a more detailed assessment of that specific dish (and the latte macchiato that I always order with it). The macchiato neatly added with biscuit and sugar. Neatly three layers visible (coffee, milk and foam) and also fine in terms of taste. The bouncer could have a better presentation, for example, with three eggs I also expect 3 slices of bread. Also, not all of the ham/cheese is covered by the egg. No comments in terms of taste, the egg yolk is nicely runny, perfectly cooked. The side salad compliments the taste of the bouncer well and the dressing completes the taste. So I would rate presentation at 4 stars, taste at 5 stars. Overall I would rate the bouncer at 4 stars. Still 5 stars for the brasserie as there are more aspects than just one. Service and customer friendliness certainly play a role in obtaining the 5 stars, as well as (not unimportantly) the prices, which are unremarkable. Definitely recommended for those who are in the area or who come from further away and want a nice, quiet meal or a drink in a relaxed atmosphere.

Delicious food and friendly service. Now 2 weeks later I had a martino de luxe sandwich and my surprise, the beautiful sandwich I received was a war sandwich this week. No eggs and cress but a few raw onions and some thrown down vegetables. When I made a comment about this, it was said that the eggs may not have been cooked yet. The martino had also been scraped off instead of smeared. So nothing is done with a complaint and it is simply dealt with

Every time I come to Terneuzen I go to this establishment. The meals are very good, the atmosphere is very cozy and the manager is very friendly and commercial. I really liked this place for its slightly retro atmosphere. On the terrace: a real pleasure to be installed on the newstraat. I love this place and highly recommend it.

I had to go to the toilet so I asked if I could use it, I always pay properly so I definitely planned to do so, unfortunately I was only allowed to go to the toilet if I wanted to have a drink, so I had a cup of coffee. When it was finished, when I took it back to the bar I saw that it had a large lipstick mark on it. This is the biggest mistake that can be made in the catering industry, giving dirty cups while only 1 other table was occupied, bah bah, I will definitely not come back. Lousy service!

Simple, exactly what you expect and just a nice lunch. The location isn't the nicest, but oh well.

Definitely not recommended, had to wait more than 20 minutes for one batch of fries. Fries were half warm just like the pasty. Fries seemed to have been fried for the second time and it took some time to find the accompanying salad; 1 leaf of arugula and two half leaves of lettuce with a tiny wedge of tomato. In short, you shouldn't be there.

We came for coffee and something tasty. Coffee was served quickly. Poffertjes and apple strudel arrived 20 minutes later. Shame. Apple dumplings were gone at 10am. Then I guess they weren't there. Disappointed us.

Today we chose this brasserie in Terneuzen. Neat and beautiful store in the shopping center of the same name. Parking available and also close to shopping streets. I opted for lunch and my partner for the schnitzel. Well served, nice portion as well as the accompanying garnish. The only downside was the waiting time. 40 minutes for a snack was a bit too long in my opinion. Fortunately, the good and friendly service made up for everything! 👍

No problem to park since parking garage downstairs is free for the first 2 hours. Good Wifi as well. Prices relatively high, however good for lunch and/or a small snack with a coffee. Especially, when doing shopping in the few shops around.

Brasserie Schuttershof Visited once on quiet morning. Slightly unpleasant (washing kitchen?) smell at the entrance, via the shopping center. Otherwise neat and clean impression. Even though it was not yet time for bouncers according to the menu, it was absolutely no problem, small adjustments to bouncers were also no problem at all. Friendly and fast service, and orders delivered to the table quickly. Bouncers were fine, without a brown edge as is correct nowadays (although egg with a brown edge is tastier) Good cappuccino, and delicious (cold) apple juice (from Zeeland) The shopping center's WiFi works fine, without the obligation to leave data as you often see. The terrace is clearly the domain of smokers, as in many places. I cannot recommend the spot on the terrace “near the helicopter” for 2 reasons: -sound that the children's attraction makes at the neighbors. -The passage is blocked, but people still squeeze past and squeeze between the table and the blockage. Positive experience, no comment apart from entrance and helicopter spot.

Staff is friendly but unfortunately the portions here are very small. Unfortunately, price-quality-quantity ratio is not good. Rather ask 2 euros more but then give an adult portion.
