The platter was delicious. The service was okay. The fish and chips were shockingly bad. I think it came from an Iglo freezer, and they don't know anything about mushy peas either.

The cod and fries were delicious. It's a lovely and cozy spot by the sea; it's a shame it's closing.

The seemingly plain hut near the beach turns out to be quite competitive in terms of cuisine: the beetroot and avocado burger is a particularly delicious combination, and the Juttersplank enjoyed the next day is a delicious meal for two: plenty of salmon, two types of ham and sausage, bitterballen, mini loempia, savory empanadas, and small green soy beans in soy sauce with sesame seeds—great! The service is friendly, unobtrusive, and prompt.

Wonderful stop and eat on our road trip. Very friendly service and of course delicious food. Something for everyone on the menu, a view over the water and a lovely spot on the terrace with a little sun. For next time I already know what I'm going to order....

Bad experience. We asked for a black angus burger and they mentioned they had not the black angus so they suggested the chicken burger. Ok! But it came with nothing inside: just bread, chicken and lettuce. The worst part: we paid the same money as if it was with a black angus (with no bacon, onion, etc…). The past was also warmed up. Really disappointed

A nice restaurant overlooking the sea. You can eat inside or outside. We went inside and ordered some excellent burgers with a side of chips. Truly delicious veggie burger. Very good draft beer. The strudel is also noteworthy. I recommend it to everybody.

Very nice place to have dinner with a great view! A few twiks to the menu wouldn't hurt, but overall, it was a really good experience.

What a nice restaurant... Foodjutters invites you with great attention to detail and food. On the way home, we really wanted to eat something delicious and came across this place by chance and were anything but disappointed. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to it.

We had to wait half an hour for someone to come (ordered in ourselves) and wait for our drink to arrive. The fresh ginger tea was warm water with 2 old dried out pieces of ginger.

The only good thing about this establishment is the view if you ask me. During our walk we wanted to have a quick drink here, but we soon had to wait a while. After some time, I received the card myself and ordered it. When it was not brought after a few minutes, we offered to come and get it ourselves, but they insisted that they bring it themselves. After waiting a few more minutes, we received the wrong order, but also a mediocre one. Not much drink in the glass, no taste and after we indicated that it was taking a long time (there was a group inside and a few tables outside) we were told that we were only waiting for "eight minutes". An apology was issued followed by many other excuses. We understand better than anyone that a shortage of staff is annoying, but when we left there were more than 4 people at the counter, which begs the question why we had to go after the menu and order ourselves. Too bad, because the view was beautiful.

We have now eaten at Foodjutters 3 times and the good rating is absolutely deserved. Beautiful location with a beautiful view of the Western Scheldt, cozy and authentic decor, very friendly service and an original menu that will suit both small and large eaters. If you are not a meat eater, I recommend the tuna poke bowl or the goat cheese bagel.

Inmiddels 3 x bij Foodjutters gegeten en de goede beoordeling is absoluut verdiend. Prachtige locatie met mooi uitzicht op de Westerschelde, gezellige en authentieke inrichting (strandtent look), zeer vriendelijke bediening en een uitgebreide kaart waarin zowel grote als kleine eters hun gading kunnen vinden. Als je geen vleeseter bent, beveel ik de poke bowl met tonijn en de bagel met geitenkaas aan.

With a beautiful view of everything that passes by boats large and small and the good sea air, you can enjoy a drink accompanied by something sweet or savory. From the afternoon to the evening, because the menu also includes a tasty pizza or burger, as well as a pot of stew, and you also have a small menu for the children to choose from.

Nice food, but waited a long time for admission, otherwise good

The place is nice especially on a hot day, when you can sit on the terrace with a cool view of ships passing by, but what makes them truly 5 star is their Black Angus Burger. I’m 40, I love burgers, and this one was probably the best one I’ve ever eaten during traveling. And at just 15 EUR it’s really quite cheap for a non-fast-food burger in the Netherlands.

Very nice location! With your nose on the Western Scheldt. Blessed. Very fast and friendly service. Delicious kibbeling, which we were allowed to order around closing time. Really a heart ♥ for the customer. It does have a price tag... Mint tea, Desperados and 2x kibbeling €28.80... Still highly recommended for a wonderful holiday feeling, where you are welcome. Price-quality ratio is good here. Parking 🅿 nearby.

Nice place to have a drink. We were less pleased with the attitude of the young staff: at 9.15 we were told that we were expected to leave at short notice, because there were no more dining guests. We would have liked to stay until 10 a.m. as the opening time on the website indicates.

Shortly before the kitchen closed, we were allowed to order. With 4 people it was financially reasonable (2x Angus burgers, pizza salami and fish and chips). Food was very good and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended!! Also for children.

Pleasantly busy, nice staff. Food tasty and enough. Starter: the beachcombers plank for 2. Then pizza and salad. Goat cheese on salad was very large, making salad very rich. Edama beans (or something like that) were not mentioned, I don't like them either. But other than that the salad was delicious. Worth repeating.

I had stomach problems all night and the next morning, even after 2 rennies. Probably from the greasy fish and chips. Perhaps also old grease. Too bad about the great service and reasonable prices.

Very customer unfriendly. I used to come here regularly, but that is a thing of the past. If you come to eat with two people, you cannot pay the bill split. When I said something about this, the answer was "This is also on the menu" and "there are plenty of other ways to settle the bill yourself afterwards". At Food Jutters, first read the small print before you eat there because they determine how you handle your finances. I don't come here anymore.

Tasty kibbeling, nice staff. View over the Western Scheldt.

We went here for dinner today. We had family visiting from Belgium and wanted to let them taste something they didn't know yet. What I immediately noticed was that the kibbeling was extremely hard and chewy, but also very greasy. They didn't taste fresh at all, but rather like they had been baked a few times. I started asking someone who works in the kitchen why the kibbeling tastes so bad, as if it had been refried. The answer was a shocking one. Yes!!!. Then another colleague quickly came who does not even work in the kitchen but serves and she told me that they are fresh. When I confronted her with the fact that her colleague had just told her that they had been rebaked, she stood there with her mouth full of teeth. I asked why do you give us refried food and the answer I got was sorry. I paid everything but I won't eat here again. Sad that you get "fresh" leftovers from other people that don't even taste like kibbeling anymore.

What a nice spot in Terneuzen! On the water, cozy and hip furnishings. We had drinks one evening with the Juttersplank and hot snacks. Recommended!

My first time eating at that place. I felt like we're in a boat. The view of the sea was magnificent seeing these huge ships passing by.

We came here by chance and when we saw the interior and the menu we immediately wanted to have a nice drink here. There is a really cozy atmosphere and the interior is not average. The staff is very friendly and when taking your order they are happy to provide additional explanation, without obliging you as a customer to do anything more, on the contrary. THE atmosphere was very friendly and we had a fantastic time. The view over the marina, the Western Scheldt and the Oost Pier complete the experience. TIP: Be sure to try the rich tapas platter. If you eat this with 3 people, you will have a decent yet varied meal.

Interesting place with decent food. Had Chef’s meat which was quite ok and my friends had ribs, which were also great. Tap beer (there was only Birra Moretti), however, is horrible - there should be more options.

Restaurant at the top of the dike, beautiful view, the Foodjutter Platter XL is easily enough for two people and is very tasty (see pictures). Service very friendly, always happy again!

Nice location right by the sea. Inside, the bistro has a beautifully rustic design and you can look directly out to sea from the terrace. The pizzas are very tasty and the staff was very friendly.

Was very disappointing.. a pasta scampi had to look for the scampi, Goat cheese salad was not possible because the bread had run out. Pizza was not cooked through, meat was cold. Management doesn't know what they are selling.

Nice tent, but let people reserve tables outside, which means you either sit inside or in the shade while there are 4 good tables reserved all afternoon... a bit of a shame.
