Brasserie 't Ogenblik in Wijk 28 Centrum

I recently dined at this brasserie, and it was an absolute delight! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The atmosphere was playful and warm, almost cheerful in a way that instantly made us feel welcome. What really stood out, though, was the service... Went above and beyond, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. They were attentive without being intrusive, quick to anticipate our needs, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their role. To top it off, the food was served incredibly quickly without sacrificing quality!

This restaurant serves delicious croquettes, and the crew is nice and pleasant,it's worthy dining here.

What a nice place in the city! We always end up there when we visit The Hague. The new owners have maintained the atmosphere and quality. And they have also made a nice contribution themselves. The wine tip recently was sublime. The less experienced staff may act a little more actively upon arrival. This was later properly repaired.

Strong mix of pluses and minuses. The croquettes and club sandwiches are very nicely presented and the soup was certainly very tasty. Unfortunately, it arrived lukewarm and the "nachos" with the sandwich turned out to be cheap salty chips. 1 of the orders was therefore not taken and could be ordered again. Again, a shame because the food was tasty. You were so close.

Very pleasant occasion. Started upon arrival by a very nice girl. Plenty of time to look for something from the menu. (Doesn't happen everywhere) Delicious meal with 2 people. Furthermore, very friendly service.

One of the best lunches I've had in a long time. Can highly recommend the twaalfuurtje! Leaves you feeling full and satisfied after a morning of walking through the city. For those with a sweet tooth, the poffertjes are simply brilliant!

Waar in Den Haag op een AA locatie vind je nog zo leuk terras met rijkelijk en heerlijk belegd brood en voor een prijs van ver voor Corona. Aanrader!

Excellent terrace in The Hague, small one near the restaurant, slightly more spacious. Extremely friendly service and fast order processing. Excellent coffee, freshly squeezed chilled orange juice, delicious slice of bread with tuna salad. Good, with nonsense. Atmosphere in the business, no idea. Sat outside on the terrace.

We have been coming to 't Ogenblik for perhaps 15 years. Now new owners (new for us, but we haven't been to The Hague in about five years). Fortunately still TOP! Nice to see that after a tip in another review, 2 delicious sandwiches were now served with the goat cheese. Goat cheese was also enough to top the two sandwiches. The shrimp croquettes were also excellent. There was a lot of attention for the guests, not just us. Was and is highly recommended!

Today we had another delicious lunch together as usual, which was just a disappointment, we wanted to order a chicken salad and club sandwich and have a cappuccino because the staff said: it is very busy inside so it could take half an hour! No problem, first a nice coffee and we had already placed our order for lunch. The staff came back to indicate that the chicken had run out (shame), but we ordered something else, plenty of goodies on the menu. Until the guests next to us got a club sandwich with chicken, I smelled and saw the chicken, we were very surprised and felt dissatisfied with this, we also asked how this was possible, and she said: ohhhhhhh there must be some leftover chicken somewhere or the oven still had to cook... and that would otherwise take too long. Too bad...and it's really not possible!

Ideal location, close to Noordeinde Palace, which can now be visited. No royal prices, but an affordable and delicious lunch!!

Their terrace at the north end is a lovely sunny spot in the city. I had a delicious grilled ham sandwich. Recommended. Service nice and smooth and friendly.

Nice atmosphere, music not too loud, the children loved the sandwiches where you can choose your own toppings (from types of cheese, meat, vegetables, sauce). The warm goat cheese sandwich was tasty, but 1 slice of bread was a bit lacking.

On the right moment the right attention and service. What a relief!! It still exists. The lunch was nicely presented and tasted great. The soup comes in a big bowl so you can either share or, when you are not hungry, only go for a soup. The sandwiches are delicious. Maybe a little bit traditional Dutch but any way - well served. Nice little restaurant with a personal touch and cosy.

Typical food place with a very cozy atmosphere. One of the few places where we don't go out for a minimum of €20 per head and with a very wide and varied menu. I recommend the plate with cheese, salad and tomato soup 🍅 very complete for the price.

We hebben zondagmiddag heerlijk geluncht bij ‘t Ogenblik. De ontvangst was al hartelijk en met de nodige humor. De keuze op de kaart is al ruim en op het schoolbord staan ook nog wat gerechten. Mijn zoon en ik kozen voor brood met grillham en dat was een uitstekende keuze. Twee dikke plakken gegrilde ham met een broodje of in mijn geval twee sneeën desembrood . Ook de uitsmijter en het broodje carpaccio smaakten mijn vrouw en dochter goed. Echt een toplocatie voor een geslaagde lunch! De medewerkers zijn vriendelijk en hartelijk en de prijzen zijn zeker niet te hoog voor wat je krijgt.

A nice brasserie in the Molenstraat. The perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of The Hague City Center and enjoy coffee and cake. But also a cozy lunch spot with delicious dishes on the menu, which also caters to vegetarians. When we describe what we saw for other guests and look at our own dishes. Then they are well-filled plates, fresh ingredients and prepared with attention and love. The variety of dishes on the menu is also striking, with something for everyone, from a nice club sandwich and meal salads to entrecote. But also pancakes and poffertjes. The decor is modern and cozy. Royal orange is the basic color, but that also fits well with the Hofkwartier. The place is a lot more spacious than it seems from the outside. In short, a pleasant visit, delicious food and just a nice place to take a break in the sometimes hectic city center.

Friendly staff and great food! Most of the places around closed for the afternoon and we were looking for a place to eat. We got the beef sandwich and breakfast plate and they were both yummy :)

Ben niet snel van de 5 sterren, dus deze heeft echt indruk gemaakt. We waren met zijn drieën op een drukke dag, 2 hadden wat specifieks nodig. Ze communiceren helder over (on)mogelijkheden (want met topdrukte mag je als klant zelf ook wel snappen dat even niet alles mogelijk is). Service: zowel aan de telefoon als aan tafel super vriendelijk en meedenkend (met een fantastisch Haags accent). Eten: heerlijk! Taart, brood en salades zijn top. Gevarieerde kaart, voor elk wat wils. Koffie: heerlijk! (En daar zijn we ook kritisch in). Ook plantaardige melk te krijgen. Harde werkers met service zoals ik tegenwoordig vaak mis. Absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar!!!

Heel vriendelijk personeel, goede service, heerlijke lunch, uitgebreide menukaart en gewoon een gezellig plekje!!

Een sfeervolle locatie met uiterst vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijke broodjes en andere gerechten. Een kleine brasserie in een smal straatje waar je je gelijk thuis voelt. Komen zeker nog eens terug!

Heerlijk drankje op het terras in het Noordeinde, lekker in de zon naast de Waalse kerk. Vriendelijke bediening, de brrodjes zien er ook goed uit.

Fijne zaak, waar je nog vriendelijk wordt ontvangen. Goede lunchkaart, heerlijk broodje warme geitenkaas met giede garnituur. Broodje zalm ook top. Aan te bevelen

Nettes Lokal, freundliche Bedienung, schöne Terrasse in der Sonne. Für Menschen, die glutenfrei essen müssen, gibt es glutenfreie Broodjes (Sandwiches) gegen kleinen Aufpreis - siehe Foto. Super!

De appeltaart was onwijs lekker! En niet te klein van formaat. Uitsmijter met zalm was ook heerlijk.

Gastvrij personeel. Iedereen wordt begroet als je binnen komt. Plekje werd meteen toegewezen. Eten was erg goed.

Als wir in Den Haag unterwegs waren sind wir hier spontan eingekehrt um etwas kleines zu essen. Der Service war super nett und die Auswahl an Speisen auch. Schnell wurden wir fündig und bekamen eine leckere kleine Mahlzeit und einen guten Café.

One of the best spots for lunch in The Hague - everything from tuna salad to poffertjes is delicious! When it’s busy, service can be a bit slow on the terrace but usually friendly servers who are happy to accommodate requests.
