A very nice family-run bistro with friendly service, good coffee/beer, delightful waitresses, and a pleasant atmosphere. All the dishes that were brought to my table looked delicious on fragrant, delicate dishes. The coffee was excellent, with a "Greetings from the Kitchen" cake, as well as water and coffee liqueur/whipped cream topping. The regionally produced beer tastes excellent, and the prices are also very reasonable, compared to the center of The Hague.

We had a lovely breakfast at the UPSIDE cafe. All the staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Cozy breakfast and brunch café!

Watch out for the seagulls if you sit outside. They dive down when they see food. Otherwise very tasty food, friendly staff.

What a nice atmosphere, peace, attention love, you want to sit and be there. Great lunch with an imaginatively decorated sandwich...we will come back from the home-made cake, but it didn't fit in anymore...top recommendation!

The owner doesn't seem to realize the impact she's having on the staff. She comes in and creates a negative atmosphere that really frightens me. It's not about the food, which was delicious, but in terms of friendliness and socializing, it was disappointing. I feel sorry for the people there, and I'm especially referring to the vulnerable demographic that works there.

We recently had 2 events catered at our office by the very nice people at The Upside Cafe. Everything was perfectly arranged! Had nice contact in advance, wide choice of many delicious snacks. On the day itself, there were several very nice people from Upside present who also provided the service. Great collaboration! We will do this more often. 5 stars!

Very nice and cool cafe. Atmosphere is good and cozy. Food is very tasty. Had toast with grilled peppers, parmesan and avocado and pesto dip, among other things, it was very tasty.

We were on vacation in the neighbourhood & had coffee, lunch & cake here. The staff were super friendly & the service was excellent. The food we had was delicious & the coffees were very good. The presentation is outstanding, they go the extra mile to make sure you have a good experience here. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 time here & wouldn’t hesitate to return when next in Den Haag.

This is a great lunchroom. The staff consists of people with disabilities. The employees do their best to serve the guests as best as possible. The lunch quality deserves an 8.5 and the 🐞🐞🐞 stands for environmentally friendly products.

Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes however burger and sandwiches were too dry. Not sure how they call their chicken sandwiches Thai if it’s just chicken ham and cucumber? It came with a side of mayo with chilli so maybe that makes it Thai?

Ondanks Koningsdagdrukte vriendelijke en vlotte service. Mijn tosti werd door een brutale meeuw van m'n bord gesnaaid en ik kreeg een nieuwe bovendien. Fijne zaak.

Echt een aanrader. Hier worden werknemers met afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt zo goed begeleid dat er eigenlijk weinig afstand meer is. Wat een lief personeel. En dan ook nog heerlijke en betaalbare gerechten. Je moet een klein beetje geduld hebben maar dat is slechts een kleine investering voor een fijne lunch.

Ga ik een keer...zijn ze dicht op maandag, best jammer dat het niet op internet stond.. Maar heb het nog een xtje geprobeerd, service is top en eten heerlijk, echt een aanrader!!

Pekná kaviarnička, kde pracujú hendikepovaní ľudia, niečo ako u nás na Slovensku chránená dielňa. Dali sme si kapučíno, pre mňa s rastlinným mliekom, čo oceňujem, lebo mám bezlaktózovú stravu. Veľmi pekne naservírované, s pohárom vody, likérom so šľahačkou, kolačikom ku káve. Obluha veľmi milá. Všade vo svete aj u nás na Slovensku a v krajine, ktorú navštívim vyhľadávam takéto miesta, kde pracujú hendikepovaní ľudia, aby som ich podporila v tom, čo robia a že dostali šancu zaradiť sa do bežného života. Veľmi to oceňujem a ďakujem. Cítili sme sa tam veľmi dobre. Atmosféra veľmi príjemná. Super.🙂👍

Ik kom hier regelmatig. Meestal voor een snelle koffie in het zonnetje. Maar ook het eten is hier lekker! De bediening is vriendelijk evenals de prijzen.

Fijne bediening, goed en lekker eten.

Wat een leuk restaurantje en leuk personeel. Erg vriendelijk. Altijd leuk om hier een kopje koffie te drinken met gebak. Ik zeg ga zo door.

Ik vond de club sandwich niet geweldig. Droge kip, weinig spekjes, geroosterde bruine boterhammen ook niet top.

Als je goed wilt eten voor een zeer leuke prijs in een zeer schone mooie verzorgde plek met heel leuk klantvriendelijk personeel. Hier krijg je echt waar voor je geld. Zo leuk verzorgd ! Honden zijn welkom. Ga er heel graag heen al is het maar 1 x per week voor de Zoete Aardappelsoep met Kokosmelk en de Ice Tea Green van Walden of de Cappuccino (met de standaard bijbehorende slagroom, likeurtje, glaasje water en stukje brownie) ! Een echte traktatie voor mijzelf ! AANRADER !!!!!

Tijdens taart halen bij Maison kelder in de Weissenbruchstraat zag ik dat er een UPSIDE café aan de overkant zat. Het zonnetje nodigde uit om plaats te nemen op het teras! Heerlijke koffie met slagroom (mijn glaasje slagroom stond achter mijn koffie haha) en een heel goed ontbijt!!! We hebben genoten en komen zeker terug!!!

Hi, de menukaart is uitgebreid. Heel lief en vriendelijk personeel. Deel van het personeel zijn mensen met een afstand tot de arbeidsmarkt, vandaar de naam. Eten is altijd goede kwaliteit en lekker hier! Aanrader :) vooral de tosti met warme brie!

Solo estuvimos allí para tomar un café y una copa de vino. Ambiente agradable y el personal también fue amable.

Tijdens de jaarlijkse jaarmarkt hier gaan lunchen. Gezellig ingericht lunchcafe met hartelijke bediening en lekker eten. Dit voor een schappelijke prijs.
