We needed to pump for breast milk in a busy, Christmas-filled The Hague. These lovely people made room for us in the back corner and even dimmed the lights. Fantastic service! And the food looked delicious, and the coffee was excellent.

The quality of the breakfast was very poor. I waited 45 minutes for a tough croissant, brown avocado, and unappetizing sticky oats. The orange juice was gone, and the smoothie wasn't available. Meanwhile, the staff was arguing and complaining in the kitchen. Perhaps I was just unlucky, given the other positive reviews, but this was truly terrible. The waitress was very friendly and did her best.

Excellent service, food and drink choices, and overall quality! I had meant to go to a different place, but I'm glad Google Maps brought me here. The vier ambachtelijke garnalenkroketten were delicious, the salad artfully arranged, and the bruin brood delightfully crispy on the crust yet soft on the inside. I also enjoyed the warm chai latte with oat milk. Great find!

During our recent vacation, we stumbled upon this place and spontaneously stopped in for a bite. The service was super friendly, the decor was lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious! I was absolutely thrilled, and I would definitely come back!

The place was nice and probably everything else you can get is probably tasty, but the chocolate milk isn't really worth 3.85 if you put it in the microwave :/

I find it very strange that you pay €8.30 for a coffee and an undercooked croissant. Suggest lowering your prices, then it's probably busier.

Myself and my wife found this place in Den Haag whilst searching for somewhere for breakfast/brunch on Sunday morning last when we were in The Hague for the weekend. We are so glad we did. It's a fabulous place with really good food and great service and a lovely atmosphere/vibe about the place as well as being good value. Prices are keener than some of the bigger restaurants in the open squares. Definitely worth a visit and it's location in the older part of the city is delightful.

What a wonderful place! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My 9-year-old even said he had the best tosti he’s ever eaten here! Highly recommended 👍

Very friendly welcome whether for us, our children or our dog, we were able to eat in the street on the terrace, very nice in this beautiful weather. Very good food, reasonable price considering the area and other restaurants. Not speaking Dutch, it was not a problem with top-notch staff.

We visited the restaurant last Saturday. The food was incredible, atmosphere was very cool, and our server Bram was awesome. 10/10 hospitality from him and the whole staff. When we visit the Netherlands in the future, we will definitely be back!

Excellent apple pie, friendly service, excellent experience

The food was delicious. Even though we were seated a bit far away, on the street corner, we were served promptly and courteously. Unfortunately, the traffic on the corner was a bit annoying, but that was probably due to the day of the week. Generally speaking, the front seating on the street is very nice.

Friendly, delicious and good prices. We went here for Uitsmijters and ended up drinking some Tap Texels.

Nice place in the middle of The Hague where you wouldn't expect it. Delicious food, friendly service at a reasonable price. Then had a beer on the terrace 50 meters further.

Here we opted for bread with rib-eye. Unfortunately really very bad. I couldn't chew away many pieces. You pay a considerable amount of 16.00, then you can expect something. If a customer indicated that he thought it was very bad, I would offer him a drink or something else, but there was silence.

Had a great experience! We came for a high tea, but we had given the wrong date, but they improvised fantastically and spoiled us! The food is of very good quality and the service is very friendly! Definitely worth repeating!

We had a high tea here with 14 people to celebrate our recently completed wedding. The communication beforehand was fantastic, the kitchen was extremely flexible for our vegan and vegetarian and the food was delicious. Also thank you very much for decorating the tables nicely! We will definitely come back here.

I recently dined at this brasserie, and it was an absolute delight! The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The atmosphere was playful and warm, almost cheerful in a way that instantly made us feel welcome. What really stood out, though, was the service... Went above and beyond, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. They were attentive without being intrusive, quick to anticipate our needs, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their role. To top it off, the food was served incredibly quickly without sacrificing quality!

What a nice place in the city! We always end up there when we visit The Hague. The new owners have maintained the atmosphere and quality. And they have also made a nice contribution themselves. The wine tip recently was sublime. The less experienced staff may act a little more actively upon arrival. This was later properly repaired.

Had a delicious lunch and enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next day. A nice and good atmosphere, friendly, hospitable and good service.

Strong mix of pluses and minuses. The croquettes and club sandwiches are very nicely presented and the soup was certainly very tasty. Unfortunately, it arrived lukewarm and the "nachos" with the sandwich turned out to be cheap salty chips. 1 of the orders was therefore not taken and could be ordered again. Again, a shame because the food was tasty. You were so close.

One of the best lunches I've had in a long time. Can highly recommend the twaalfuurtje! Leaves you feeling full and satisfied after a morning of walking through the city. For those with a sweet tooth, the poffertjes are simply brilliant!
