Everything Wonderfull and so nice place and people

Had an absolutely excellent family lunch here - chorizo croquettes were spot on perfect, both kids loved their burgers, and service was great too. Will return next time in Den Haag without doubt ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very cozy and many gluten-free options

While in The Hague, we stopped at this small brasserie on a pedestrian street. The food was homemade and delicious. The service was impeccable and the decor very charming. The price was reasonable considering the city's expensive restaurants.

Breakfast is very meager for the price. The staff is very attentive. The cook is only moderately friendly. A boiled egg arrives hard, cold, and peeled, with a note that it costs extra.

I stopped at this brasserie for a quick break and a well-deserved Heineken after a long walk in the sun. The beer is the classic Heineken we know, but it was the location, on one of the main streets, that made the difference!

A good selection of sandwiches, pancakes, etc., at reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and attentive; they immediately brought a highchair and offered fries and toasties, which are popular with many children. The outdoor seating area is a bit away from the main restaurant, but it's a pleasant and quiet place to sit. A variety of beers are available.

Lunch as it should always be. The location is top-notch, the service is fast and very friendly, and the food is delicious. Nothing to complain about. Prices are fine. We had a delicious fish lunch, highly recommended.

Guy working there was freaking out because we threw a cup in his trashcan. He took it out and threw it on the street, acting all aggressive. Unbelievable.

Together with my sister, I recently had lunch at 't Ogenblik during a day trip to The Hague. We were received very warmly and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is cozy, the service friendly and genuinely interested, and the lunch was delicious. Afterwards, I wrote a blog about our day. To my surprise, I received a wonderful response from the team. They had even shared my blog with their staff. To me, that says a lot about the commitment and warmth of this special place.

We sat on the terrace, a few meters from the venue. There was always a member of the wait staff available. For lunch, we had the soup of the week—mustard soup with bacon—as the waiter had told us when we asked what the soup of the week was. Afterwards, when we went inside to use the restroom, we saw the soup listed on the chalkboard and realized that we hadn't seen any bacon in the soup. But the soup was still very tasty. Next, we both had a club sandwich, and that was just as delicious! The wait staff were very friendly, and the service was prompt. We can certainly recommend this brasserie; the interior looked cozy as well.

A great place for a well-priced and promptly served breakfast. Roomy inside and with additional al fresco seating outside the neighbouring church, it has a great atmosphere. Service is wonderful; Parsi the host is efficient, charming and focussed on giving 100% best client experience, he is engaging, friendly and brings such good humour to his work, it was a pleasure to start the day in his company! We went back twice. Highly recommended.

Great food, reasonable prices, and a lovely vibe sitting by the street, watching the world go by. The shop itself is in a smaller street/lane but has tables a fair distance away. Staff were lovely and attentive. Would certainly try it again.

A really cute place for a lunch stop. And gluten free options which is an added bonus. No eye rolling when I asked for ingredient details (many allergies thus the questions), even going to the trouble to call the creator of their gluten free brownies to check if they were safe for me. Would definitely recommend.

Busy and a bit cramped but really enjoyed the food.

i got fried eggs and water, the eggs come with bread (you can choose between white and brown bread) and some veggies with a sauce that i think it’s yogurt dressing (i’m not sure tho). the eggs were exquisite and the bread too, as an italian i would say that the water is not what i’m used to bc it’s only 25cl, but for me, a non drinker, it was perfect, it’s just something to have in mind if you’re used to the 50/75cl ones. i spent €12,80 and i think that, for the quality of what i ate, the price was perfect. i would totally come back!

Increasingly less special. You used to have things here you couldn't find anywhere else, prepared really well. Now, just the standard items for passersby who want to sit down. Menu items are also becoming increasingly scarce.

Nestled among beautiful streets, quite spacious. The breakfasts are well-served, though basic. Exactly as described. The coffee is delicious. The service is spectacular. They also have beer and wine. I had breakfast there. Delicious!

I only ordered pea soup. Wow, this can rightly be called a hearty pea soup. The spoon almost stood upright in it. Tasted very good. Nice and warm. Large bowl with two small slices of rye bread and a small slice of bacon. Highly recommended! Other dishes also looked good. Friendly service. Saturday afternoon, very busy, so the wait was longer.

We needed to pump for breast milk in a busy, Christmas-filled The Hague. These lovely people made room for us in the back corner and even dimmed the lights. Fantastic service! And the food looked delicious, and the coffee was excellent.

The quality of the breakfast was very poor. I waited 45 minutes for a tough croissant, brown avocado, and unappetizing sticky oats. The orange juice was gone, and the smoothie wasn't available. Meanwhile, the staff was arguing and complaining in the kitchen. Perhaps I was just unlucky, given the other positive reviews, but this was truly terrible. The waitress was very friendly and did her best.

Excellent service, food and drink choices, and overall quality! I had meant to go to a different place, but I'm glad Google Maps brought me here. The vier ambachtelijke garnalenkroketten were delicious, the salad artfully arranged, and the bruin brood delightfully crispy on the crust yet soft on the inside. I also enjoyed the warm chai latte with oat milk. Great find!

I find it very strange that you pay €8.30 for a coffee and an undercooked croissant. Suggest lowering your prices, then it's probably busier.

Myself and my wife found this place in Den Haag whilst searching for somewhere for breakfast/brunch on Sunday morning last when we were in The Hague for the weekend. We are so glad we did. It's a fabulous place with really good food and great service and a lovely atmosphere/vibe about the place as well as being good value. Prices are keener than some of the bigger restaurants in the open squares. Definitely worth a visit and it's location in the older part of the city is delightful.

What a wonderful place! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My 9-year-old even said he had the best tosti he’s ever eaten here! Highly recommended 👍

Very friendly welcome whether for us, our children or our dog, we were able to eat in the street on the terrace, very nice in this beautiful weather. Very good food, reasonable price considering the area and other restaurants. Not speaking Dutch, it was not a problem with top-notch staff.

We visited the restaurant last Saturday. The food was incredible, atmosphere was very cool, and our server Bram was awesome. 10/10 hospitality from him and the whole staff. When we visit the Netherlands in the future, we will definitely be back!

The food was delicious. Even though we were seated a bit far away, on the street corner, we were served promptly and courteously. Unfortunately, the traffic on the corner was a bit annoying, but that was probably due to the day of the week. Generally speaking, the front seating on the street is very nice.

Nice place in the middle of The Hague where you wouldn't expect it. Delicious food, friendly service at a reasonable price. Then had a beer on the terrace 50 meters further.

Here we opted for bread with rib-eye. Unfortunately really very bad. I couldn't chew away many pieces. You pay a considerable amount of 16.00, then you can expect something. If a customer indicated that he thought it was very bad, I would offer him a drink or something else, but there was silence.

Had a great experience! We came for a high tea, but we had given the wrong date, but they improvised fantastically and spoiled us! The food is of very good quality and the service is very friendly! Definitely worth repeating!

We had a high tea here with 14 people to celebrate our recently completed wedding. The communication beforehand was fantastic, the kitchen was extremely flexible for our vegan and vegetarian and the food was delicious. Also thank you very much for decorating the tables nicely! We will definitely come back here.

Went above and beyond, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness. They were attentive without being intrusive, quick to anticipate our needs, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their role. To top it off, the food was served incredibly quickly without sacrificing quality!
