Went to dinner with the family. We really enjoyed it! The service was good, the food was delicious, and I really enjoyed the selection of exclusive beers! Highly recommended.

What a gorgeous spot! My first visit was just perfect, the atmosphere, the food, the staff - everything was just lovely. Can’t remember having this much beef for a single meal but I have zero regrets. We had carpaccio to start - with a bunch of toppings. The beef itself was so good I wished there was less on top cause it was pretty distracting but the whole thing tasted great anyway. We had two different cuts of beef to share, both were extremely tasty. Our medium rare was on the rare side but again - no complaints, it tasted incredible. They both came with simple sides of veggies and some fries. I asked for some mustard for my fries (don’t hate until you try it) and was given one of the best mustards I’ve ever tried. The staff were so lovely and simply hilarious, I’d go back for the laughs. It added to the great experience. Can’t recommend it enough, I want to be back as soon as possible!

During a weekend in Nijmegen, we enjoyed a wine tasting here, with delicious wines and a snack platter. We enjoyed it so much that we went there for dinner the next day. Both the wines and the food were delicious, the staff very welcoming and friendly, and all this in an atmospheric setting. Highly recommended!

What a lovely restaurant! The staff were all friendly, helpful, and welcoming, even though it was quite busy. You really felt welcome here. The food was fantastic, everything fresh and prepared with great care. Kudos to the kitchen: not only was it incredibly delicious, but the open kitchen was also spotlessly clean, and the chef had everything perfectly under control. In short: we had a wonderful evening at 't Zotte Lemke. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful meal tonight! The service was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and feels like home. We ordered an orange wine, which was excellent :) One of the waiters even shared a fun fact about the wine. After we forgot to mention an allergy, the staff took care of it very quickly and accurately. Highly recommended on all counts, and we will definitely eat there again :)

The three of us dined here, and what a wonderful experience! The building is beautiful and atmospheric, the service was incredibly hospitable and helpful. We even got a tour of the building after dinner, which was truly attentive. The chef gave wonderful tips about the food, and he was absolutely right! We went for dinner and whisky tasting with three colleagues (second time). We had a delicious and plentiful meal, and the atmosphere was great. We tasted different whiskies, and there were some recommendations. We will definitely be back.

The waiter had such a dry sense of humor, we were literally in fits of laughter during dinner. My boyfriend had had a long day at work, so this came at just the right time. He was joking without being annoying—just nice and light. And the food was really good too, so all in all, a fantastic evening. We'll definitely be back, even if it's just for those lame jokes, haha :)

When we arrived at Zotte Lemke last Friday evening, our table was already set—napkins folded, glasses neatly polished, and a candle lit. That might sound small, but it made such a lovely first impression. I was out with my mother, and she immediately said: "This feels taken care of." No fuss or searching, just sitting down and enjoying the menu. It's those little things that make all the difference :)

Yesterday evening, on the advice of the Nijmegen locals, we ate here. Despite it being busy, we were still able to get a table for 2 in the garden. What a nice restaurant and nice surroundings. Delicious food and what super nice and hospitable staff. If we ever come back to Nijmegen, we will definitely eat here again 😃

We recently did a whiskey tasting here. They enthusiastically told us about the history of whiskey and a menu was created on the spot based on our wishes. I am not a big whiskey connoisseur myself, my boyfriend is, we both experienced it as great!

Last Saturday night we had dinner in the courtyard in Brasserie 't Zotte Lemke. One of the best and most enjoyable dinner experiences of recent times. Especially the quality of the food and the good advice about the wine choice. The covered courtyard is also a really nice place to sit. In addition, the service (yes, the young man with a moustache and curly hair) is really so hospitable. As if we had been coming there for years. Good memories of this evening.

Sometimes you go out to eat in your own hometown and afterwards you wonder why you haven't been there before. Het Zotte Lemke was for me that surprise last week where everything was right. The nice relaxed atmosphere in the beautiful old building, the friendly service that really knew what it was all about with regard to the wine/beer and food combinations (a very nice wine, special beer and tea menu anyway!) and last but not least the very generous portions of excellent food. We will definitely come back here.

Last time I ate here was years ago and I finally went back yesterday — shame I didn’t do this sooner! As soon as you walk in you can smell the deliciousness from the kitchen and the food was really great too. I had the Iberico rack and the asparagus soup, both perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The service was friendly and attentive, and with the extensive selection of beers there is something for everyone. Definitely recommended!

Completely successful! Wine tasting + drinks platter was the intention. Then expanded to extra wines, a dessert and finished with a whisky and coffee. Our host Joost thought along well. All suggested drinks were tailored to our preferences. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately, our visit to 't Zotte Lemke was disappointing. The quality of the food was really insufficient. The starters were disappointing. The fried asparagus in ham was very salty and lacked refinement; the dish consisted largely of salty ham with only a few asparagus and was therefore not balanced. The other starter called stinking curls turned out to be simply five shrimps in butter and garlic – not very original, not surprising, but well priced. Unfortunately, the main course – a ribeye steak cooked on the BBQ – did not live up to expectations. What was served resembled a tough steak, full of tendons, rather than a well-prepared ribeye. The only bright spot was the delicious Primitivo wine, and the staff was also friendly. Yet that does not outweigh the mediocre quality of the food. All in all a disappointing experience and not a place I would recommend.

Reservations are only possible for food for an hour and a half. When we received the menu, we were immediately told that a three-course menu was not possible. Immediately felt pressure of time. We didn't think the menu was that exceptional, but the prices were very high. So a bit disappointed...

I've been here 3 times in the last six months. What is striking is the exceptionally attentive service. They keep a close eye on you without being pushy. The quality of the dishes is excellent and, if desired, they will recommend something that suits the dish you are currently enjoying. They have a wide range of beer, wine and spirits.

I did a whiskey tasting with my friends! Even though I'm not a whiskey drinker myself, I really enjoyed it! The different whiskeys were explained very enthusiastically and it was super educational. The snack board we ordered was super tasty and my lactose intolerance was very well taken into account. We will come back for another tasting. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a great laugh with Luuk, who gave us a fantastic evening with his charms and knowledge. Proud of my son! The appetizer board was delicious again, as were the main courses. The delicious wine completed the meal. This restaurant is highly recommended!

Last week we had a fantastic evening and experience at 't Zotte Lemke. One of our guests follows a gluten-free diet and we have not often experienced a restaurant being so attentive to this. In addition to the great service, the atmosphere was also very pleasant and all the food tasted delicious. Both starters and main courses were excellent, the beers on tap were just as good. A big compliment to the team for the great evening!

Then to an acoustic concert in the St Jacob's Chapel, in a street behind the restaurant. What more could you want?!

A 'tapas plank' as a starter and a Wild boar medallion and tuna steak as main. Versatile snacks with, for example, crayfish, prawns and Salpicon. We received good advice for a matching wine. All tables were occupied, creating a busy but pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed it.
