Worst food I've ever eaten in the Netherlands. Never again.

We ate here as a couple. We went for the kilo burger and it was really delicious. The service was also very friendly.

Just popping in for a cup of coffee. Even though they weren't officially open yet according to Google, we were able to order and were served courteously. Great coffee and a great slice of apple pie. The location is very nice, a quiet village and by the water.

I came all the way from Eindhoven specifically to take on this challenge, and it was more than worth it. The meter of satay was truly delicious: tender meat, good satay sauce, and fries. It is a gigantic amount in total and a serious challenge, even if you arrive extremely hungry. Unfortunately, I didn't complete the challenge, but that is not due to the quality of the food. Tip: don't take that meter lightly, because it is surprisingly much. For lovers of good food and those who enjoy food challenges, this is absolutely highly recommended.

We went for dinner on a Friday evening with 8 people using Social Deal. 5 x unlimited mixed grill and 3 x à la carte menus. The service was fine; they were a bit inexperienced but very friendly. The quality of the mixed grill left something to be desired; the chicken fillet was very watery???, the steak (if it was steak, because there were pieces of sinew in it, which is common in chuck steaks) was therefore not top-notch, and the pork chop was dry. The spare ribs were tasty, but some were not trimmed. The second portion took a while to arrive. The steak tips, on the other hand, were tasty. The onion soup and tomato soup were nothing to write home about either, and the desserts—chocolate sludge or something similar—were also sludge and not tasty (the excuse was that it was due to the warm weather). All in all, it was not a success for us. It is strange that other people had a delicious meal and gave 5 stars. Maybe we were unlucky, and tastes differ. I would say take advantage of this, and the kitchen has some work to do!!!

We ate there with a friend. Initially, we went for the 1-meter satay, but decided against it. We both had the spicy spare ribs, which were really tasty! The interior is really outdated and quite dirty. There was a hole in my chair, and the areas behind the benches and in the corners haven't been vacuumed for years. Our dessert was the Dame Blanche. It was served with cold chocolate. When we asked, they warmed it up for us after all.

I read all the reviews on the internet. How strange are the extremely different opinions and experiences. Possibly many purchased reviews, but also sourpusses for whom nothing is good. Decided to eat here—personal experience is better here—with a group of 10 people. The welcome was warm. There were 9 seats. That was because we were initially going to come with 8, and later called again to say it was 9 plus a child. No problem, an extra table was pulled up. The meter, kilo, and m² challenges could only be obtained after making a reservation and specifying that you wanted them. Unfortunately, nothing was said about this during the phone calls that were made. I can understand that regarding purchasing. But then again, several purchases hadn't been made. A hamburger wasn't possible because they were sold out. Uh hello, Saturday night, 1st session, and no hamburgers???? So, the Satay it is. Someone wanted marinated beef tips. Well, that will just be steak then, because the marinated tips are sold out. A Radler beer. Uh, became Kronenburg. Radler was the only thing left. ????? Hello Saturday, weekend ???? The shrimp were okay, although the staff didn't know they were Tiger Butterfly shrimp; had to ask around. A frequently heard excuse is that she normally isn't here and that the cook is alone in the kitchen. A recurring theme in many reviews, by the way. Do something about that. The satay was indeed dry in taste. The fries had to be swapped because they were still raw (undercooked). Then the dessert. The crème roared; a few people seemed to like it. Sorry, there isn't any left..... Next, they forgot to take another order. Had to follow up. Someone wanted chocolate cake. Got a piece of whipped cream cake with chocolate sprinkles on top. Which, by the way, had been sitting there for a few days ?????. A few wanted the blubber, but instead of chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream. Normally consists of a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Now the chocolate ice cream was omitted and not a scoop of vanilla ice cream was added. I now know that much of the negative reviews is true and that if they don't change that, it won't last much longer as a restaurant. I attend many occasions and, if all goes well, multiple times. In any case, Loeloes will NOT be one of them. It's a shame; the concept seemed fun and good to me.

Despite there being many reservations, they fortunately still managed to find a nice spot for us. The food was very good. The spareribs were so tender that you could eat them with a knife and fork, and still be left with perfectly clean bones. There was a friendly and informal atmosphere, and the service was very prompt.

Horrible service! You'd better turn around before you go there. The waiter takes beer from the tray on one side, and it all falls on one of us. Then the spilled beer is neatly placed on the receipt. You'd better take your sleeping gear with you, because before you can eat... I accidentally held the pool stick the wrong way without thinking, and the owner roughly pulled me by the arm. The challenge dishes are prepared in such a way that they're impossible to eat (so dry). In short, turn around right away 😂

Enjoyed our first Christmas brunch

A very unprofessional and unfriendly experience, even before we could even eat. A friend of mine had made a reservation for four people for the 1-meter schnitzel and 1-meter satay challenge. Today, he received a call from the owner, who immediately started asking in an angry and irritated tone why no Tikkie payment had been made yet. We never received a Tikkie, and the reservation didn't mention any advance payment requirement. When my friend indicated he wouldn't be paying for something that was never sent and that we would just show up, he told us we'd have to wait a long time for our food because nothing would be prepared until we arrived—even though it was supposedly "very busy." Shortly after, he even said that "no one's coming anyway," which is completely inaccurate. The communication is simply poor, the tone is unfriendly and accusatory, and the way customers are treated is disrespectful. If this is already happening before you even arrive, there's really no point wasting an evening on it. No Brasserie Loeloe's for us.

We had a reservation for 1:00 PM. According to their website, Loeloe's was supposed to open at 12:00 PM. We arrived at the door at 12:30 PM. Everything was dark. They were also unreachable by phone, and there was no sign in the window stating they were closed due to unforeseen circumstances. We didn't receive an email about this either. So, all in all, a bit of a disappointment.

Ate here after watching several videos on TikTok. The reservation process didn't go smoothly. I had booked for a Saturday, but was called several times to say it wasn't possible to book on a Monday. Very unusual, but I received an apology, so whatever. I do recommend sending a reservation confirmation, though. You don't get one now, so I didn't have any confirmation myself. The meter carpaccio was delicious, and the kilo burger was also excellent quality! Of course, I didn't finish it (impossible!), but I was given it in a nice bag to take home (just the meat, that is). The interior could use a refresh; it looks like a venue that used to host weddings and parties, but hasn't really evolved into a restaurant yet. The town hall logo is still on the menu, so these are things that could use some work. But the hardworking staff are doing their best. We had a great evening, a one-off, but enjoyable enough!

We went to Loeloes for the meter satay challenge, but it turned out to be a disaster. We ordered three meters of satay for four people, but upon being served, we were told that sharing the satay would cost €10 extra, and this was also stated on the website. We checked the entire website, but couldn't find this information anywhere. Bunch of scammers! On top of that, the satay was incredibly dry and impossible to eat. Don't even try it, people!

It's great that all those meters of satay and kilos of burgers are flying out of the kitchen. But because of that, the rest of the menu is no longer being given any attention in the kitchen. The world-famous spareribs were more like charred, pre-cooked, rancid lumps of poorly seasoned meat...

Loeloe is a charming, rustic, wooden café by the water in the village of Flist. There's a lovely terrace in the summer. It's accessible via a country lane past a windmill. We had a mixed grill there through a social deal. It had four types of meat with a delicious salad and fries. I really enjoyed it. Replacing the chicken breast with chicken thighs made the dish fantastic. The service is friendly and attentive. They have a small menu with delicious dishes. Definitely recommended based on the price-quality ratio. 👍

Never again for us. The food had absolutely no flavor. The tomato soup, what a disgrace. A pick-me-up broth is even better. The satay was dried out, the schnitzel so salty it would leave your kidneys in it. The fries were black and had been fried multiple times, which we could see from our seats. The interior is old, broken, and dirty. The table is sticky everywhere. We declined dessert and went to McDonald's. A real waste of money. Two people felt sick after this meal. Too bad! The photos don't match reality. It's better to focus only on the pub area.

We ate at Loeloe's in Vlist yesterday through a Social Deal, but we definitely won't be returning. We received a warm welcome, and we were allowed to choose our own table. After placing our order, it took a little longer for our starters to arrive. This was partly due to a group of six, four of whom were taking on the 1-meter satay challenge. When we received our salad, I had the correct one, but my friend didn't, and anyone can make a salad like that: just some lettuce in a bowl, some goat cheese on top, and a bit of dressing. Then we waited for the main course, and unfortunately, that didn't go well either. They brought spare ribs while I had ordered a hamburger, and in retrospect, I should have gotten the spare ribs because they looked much more appetizing. The hamburger came on a huge bun with way too much lettuce, the fried egg on it had burnt edges, and the hamburger itself wasn't very tender. And then for dessert, we went for the Heavenly Mud, or whatever it's called, but honestly, it was a complete disgrace. The Moes wasn't good at all, and the ice cream that came with it had ice crystals in it, making it not very enjoyable. The interior looks quite nice at first glance, but a billiard table and slot machines in a restaurant is also quite unusual.

That meter of satay is a nice concept. It's just a shame it's so hard to chew. It's so chewy, so it's understandable you won't finish it in time. The fries are a bit soggy, and the salad isn't anything to write home about either. If you can't finish it, the staff practically forces you to take it home. But you wouldn't want to give that to your dog. After a quarter of a satay, the whole group had stomach aches all evening. Definitely not recommended!

What a crappy place, they definitely don't want customers. They don't respond to reservation emails. I booked with someone else. In hindsight, that was a good thing, considering the many negative reviews.

Wij hadden netjes gereserveerd voor 7 augustus om 18:00 uur, ik had gelezen dat dit minimaal 3 dagen van te voren moest. Een vriend van mij en ikzelf waren verrast door het concept, gezien op Facebook, van 'een meter saté' bij LoeLoe's in Vlist. Aangezien dit niet 'om de hoek' (120 km enkele reis) is wilden wij er een 'dagje uit' van maken. Toen wij aankwamen bij LoeLoe's zagen wij dat het er nogal donker uit zag. Ook zat er een briefje op de deur(en) dat ze gesloten zijn van zondag 3 augustus t/m 7 augustus. Vermoedelijk hebben ze deze 'vakantie' last-minute ingelast vanwege personeel tekort. Er was nog wel iemand aanwezig bij LoeLoe's, vermoedelijk was hij aan het schoonmaken. Hij vond het vreemd dat wij een reservering hadden staan. Daarom heeft hij de eigenaar gebeld om te kijken wat er mogelijk was, de eigenaar vroeg of we een reserveringsbewijs hadden, deze krijg je natuurlijk als je telefonisch reserveert. Verder kwam hier niet echt wat uit (ter compensatie o.i.d.), dit is iets wat ik persoonlijk kwalijk vind. Waarschijnlijk is onze reservering 'vergeten' en niet in het systeem gezet, waardoor wij dus 'voor niets' naar Vlist zijn afgereisd. Gelukkig hebben wij nog wel samen lekker kunnen eten bij de 'buurman'.

Last month I had a farewell dinner for a colleague there. Delicious food, very friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. The spare ribs were world famous on the menu and we laughed about it, but rightly so, these were the best I have ever eaten. The bill was pleasantly low I will come back here soon

Yes, to be honest... they miss a real COOK. The owner is in the kitchen and the food is too bad for the level you should be used to when you eat out. Spare ribs too dry / tough. Without any sauce or marinade. Mixed grill was also a joke, this also came without sauce. Meat just barely done. And the chicken satay was floating in a container of ketjab, the chicken was not grilled but boiled. I didn't dare eat it. My children all had stomach cramps that evening. In any case, we won't be eating there again... a shame. The time between courses also lasted over an hour. Nice concept perhaps, but with a real chef.

25-1-'25 with a group of 5 people ate at this nice brasserie. Because our group was not yet complete we waited outside on the terrace, the reception was attentive and warm before we even got inside. The service was playful, empathetic and very funny. At the end also genuinely receptive to constructive feedback about the temperature of the plates with the main course. This was immediately (audibly by one of us) shared with the kitchen. We had a 4-course menu with many choices via social deal. The portions were all together really big enough. And above all everything was really everything very tasty. It was just noticeable that passion was put into it. The cheesecake took the crown. 25-1-'25 met een groep van 5 personen gegeten bij deze fijne brasserie.Omdat ons groepje nog niet compleet was wachtten we buiten op het terasje , de ontvangst was attent en hartelijk nog voor we zelfs maar binnen waren. De bediening was speels , inlevend en erg grappig. Aan het eind ook gemeend ontvankelijk voor een opbouwende feedback omtrent de temperatuur van de borden bij het hoofdgerecht. Dit werd gelijk (hoorbaar voor een van ons) met de keuken gedeeld. We hadden via social deal een 4 gangen menu met veel keuze mogelijkheden. De porties waren alles bij elkaar genomen echt ruim genoeg . En bovenal was alles maar ook echt alles heel smaakvol . Het was gewoon merkbaar dat daar passie ingelegd was. I made a booking through their official website and also received a confirmation by email. When I get to the restaurant, I find it closed, and then go on their website and it says that the restaurant is closed the whole week due to works, but I didn't get any notification from them. It left a bitter taste as they could have at least notified thise who made bookings those days, so I assume it was bad luck for me.

What lousy service. We had to wait far too long for our food even though we had indicated that we had to leave in time for the theater. “No problem,” they said. The chef was alone in the kitchen, but thought it was more important to create social media content about his large burgers than to take care of his guests. When he left his kitchen for the second time to make a nice video, while the whole place was waiting for food and he then almost immediately provided the men who had just come in with burgers for his film and we still didn't get anything after 1 hour of waiting, we left without eating. In tegenstelling tot de dame onder mij van 9 september ben ik al jaren zeer tevreden over het eten ,klantvriendelijkheid en gezelligheid in dit restaurant, no nonsense en perfect eten en en ik ben erg kieskeurig wat eten en bediening betreft. Wij kwamen hier met onze kleinzoon , na ruim n uur wachten kregen we n miserabele carpaccio. ( 3 kl plakjes vlees met n hoop rucola) Na 2 uur wachten vroeg ik is t nu al klaar? Kwam er n antwoord er is n groep van 10 man ( als je dat niet aankan neem ze dan niet aan ) en hier is alles vers hoezo wat dan? Patat uit n zak vis uit de vriezer ? Groente ook . Ik vroeg mij af wat dat smerig uitziende prutje was .ik denk saus voor de vis uit n spuitflesje. Hoe kan je n sate vers maken? En t broodje voor de hamburger? Dan als je n open keuken heb prima maar draag dan handschoenen.ook de kok en die vrouw droegen geen handschoen beetje ranzig allemaal Barjongen gaat naar toilet en staat daarna de nagerechten te maken . Dan n onooglijk vies vrouwtje die steeds n theedoekje pakt en wat borden droogt tussen t roken door kortom we hadden uren de tijd om dit eens goed te bekijken . Boterzachte spareribs. Lekkere patatjes en toetje. Bediening vond ik in het begin stug en beetje niet gastvrij overkomen. Muziek die de toon maakt, zeg maar later draaide alles weer een beetje bij.

We moesten lang wachten voordat we eten kregen (1,5 uur) en toen we wat kregen was het maar 4 van de 6 borden. Toen die het bijna op hadden kwamen pas de andere 2 borden. De saté was erg droog en toen daar wat van gezegd werd was de reactie van dat kan niet! En was de houding helaas erg van “niet mijn probleem”. Hierdoor voor ons zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

If I couldn't give a star I definitely would. LoeLoe's was a real piece of dull misery. The furnishings (and especially the finishing) are exceptional. With cozy chandeliers above some of the tables you get the idea of ​​a cozy living room, but the different types of wallpaper and hung fabrics give more of the illusion of a former dance café that had its best days about 20 years ago and with some creative cut and paste work has been transformed into a brasserie (? Eating café? Glorified snack bar?). Not bad, but also not very neat, attractive, or inviting. Unfortunately, the service is not exactly that either. The lady we met was absolutely friendly, but not very attentive. For example, we sat for a long time with empty glasses, while only three tables were occupied. We had to wait almost an hour for our main courses, which I think is very long anyway, but especially with minimal customer occupancy. Unfortunately, the dishes were downright bad and therefore absolutely not worth the wait. We both took a few small bites, looked at each other and decided to leave (a unique and first time for both of us). The chicken (schnitzel) was very dry and tasteless, the 'vegetables' did not smell fresh at all, as if it came from a jar of pickles. The hamburger seemed undercooked, had a strange aftertaste, and had lettuce, even though it was specifically requested without. We walked straight to the counter to pay. Even though we had received the dishes less than five minutes ago, we were cheerfully asked if everything had tasted (the full plates in view). When we indicated that this had honestly not been the case, the lady seemed shocked. To be fair; We were offered something to drink or dessert, which we declined, because we had already eaten and drunk and were already waiting with our coats on. In any case, we will not take advantage of the offer to make up for this next time in an unspecified manner.

She was working alone and the brasserie was completely full, but everything came quite quickly and with a big smile. Heerlijk gegeten! 4-gangen menu via Social deal. Ruime keuze. Gekozen voorgerecht:Calamares/Carpaccio, hoofdgerecht spareribs(+7,50€) / kipsaté nagerecht: Dame Blanche / cheesecake. Meer dan genoeg, kreeg de saté niet op, Sparerobs: vlees viel van het bot, heel Mals. Fijne bediening. Aanrader. (Je kunt ook Voor de kipsate challenge gaan 1 mtr kipsate - zoals onze buurmannen)

Leuk restaurant informeel. Fijne bediening en goed eten. Mooie live muziek ik dacht dat het een c.d. was die opstond.

Leuke, gezellig en goed. Echt de moeite waard om eens de keuken van loeloe te proberen. De kaas soep en sparribs waren echt heerlijk.

Heerlijk gegeten daar. Lekkere muziek op en goede bediening. Prijstechnisch dus echt goed. Aan te bevelen. En eten om aan te bevelen, alles is gewoon lekker.

Heerlijk gegeten. De voorgerechtjes zijn gewoon prima, de hoofdgerechten (wij hadden schnitzel en spareribs) waren echt heerlijk! Ook onze desserts waren super. We werden heel vriendelijk en goed geholpen door een jonge meid. Ook de kok gaf goede service. Jammer dat er een wat chaggerijnige oudere dame rondliep, die soms erg onaardig deed tegen het jongere meisje die haar werk naar ons idee supergoed deed.

Heerlijk gegeten gisterenavond .(zo. 18/6 ) De Flinstone Steak was heerlijk, De burger idem. Op een schoolbord in de Brasserie staat geschreven : De beste spareribs van Gouda ! Nou ! Maak er maar van : De beste spareribs van de WERELD ! ( Wereldreiziger hier ) Kompliment voor de kok 😍. Tevens een gezellige en attente bediening. TOP.

Een leuk tentje, goede prijzen voor een lekkere eten! Koreaans stijle spareribs is echt een aanrader. Zo mals!
