Best sandwich shop ever. So good I'm speechless. Come here for your best chicken sandwich, people. 10/10.

To be fair, the chicken sandwich gets a solid 5 stars from me. It was delicious. Nothing to complain about. But the owner? 1. I'd like to kindly ask you to wash your hands immediately after smoking. You can't just stand in the kitchen/behind the counter with dirty hands after smoking, can you? 2. I didn't dare say anything about point 1 in the store because I thought you were rather rude to your staff.

The tastiest sandwiches in Rotterdam! Once I tried them, I was instantly hooked. The amount of food in one sandwich is equivalent to an entire meal.

An order was delivered to my address. This turned out to be a mistake by the previous occupant. I discovered this after politely contacting Brood Rotterdam about it. I told them my daughter had received the order. The employee asked if the delivery driver had taken it back. I told them I didn't know, to which the gentleman replied with a smart mouth: "You know if it was taken or not." Honesty doesn't pay. The order went in the trash, and I will definitely never order from them again!

The sandwich was delicious, but the owner should treat his staff better. That's what really makes someone proud: not being overly friendly to customers while simultaneously being the opposite towards your staff. The staff is trying their best, but the atmosphere is becoming so uncomfortable for customers.

The food was excellent, and the staff clearly tries their best. It's noticeable that the owner could pay more attention to how he treats his staff. It's unpleasant for customers to experience a tense atmosphere. Treating staff well actually reflects positively on the entire establishment.

Small place but soooo tasty halal sandwiches, very nice place. The food and drinks are definitely worth the price for how tasty it is. Bit of a homely atmosphere. Don't go if you want to have a private conversation, you are sitting right next to another business that is quite well attended and busy... It is not eating and staying seated, take into account someone else who also wants to sit after you have finished eating.

Owner is a rude man. Received no respect from home. You can see that right away. It is closed during Ramadan and you only find out when you are at the door. Don't even bother to adjust it on Google. Very strange entrepreneur.

Fantastic sandwiches and service! I enjoyed a delicious chicken sandwich at Brood Rotterdam – definitely recommended! The smoothies are fresh and delicious in taste. The owner is super friendly, helpful and always thinks along with you. Truly a place where you would like to come back!

Food is great! It's just a shame that you can never be sure whether they are open. 2nd time in a month for a closed door, that's really not possible... it says online that you are open and there is no one to be seen in the business.

The food gets 5 stars from me. However, for the THIRD time I am standing in front of a CLOSED DOOR!! Online you are open, travel 1 hour each time to experience this. I'm done with it & the owner needs to stop being mean to his staff & yelling in the way too small place.

The chicken sandwich remains delicious and the quality unchanged. I do ask for less sauce. Otherwise the chicken will be swimming in sauce. Generous portion of chicken. Few seats.

I ate the well-known grilled chicken fillet sandwich here, it was great. The smoothies are also delicious here. The owner is always very friendly and attentive. Keep a close eye on everything, and very good to his staff. Reviews given here regarding staff are really nonsense, because I have been coming here for some time. In terms of hygiene, everything looks clean and tidy. The kitchen is also neatly done. My experience time and time again remains top notch. My compliments, keep up the good work!

Best sandwich I have eaten in a long time

I am really perplexed by all the reviews I read! People, they don't sell ANY here! pork or non-Helal food. Really the biggest nonsense! Last month I ate at Brood Rotterdam 3/4 times with my family and they make really delicious sandwiches/toasted sandwiches. Delicious bread, super tasty chicken and the herb mayo or whatever it may be completes the picture. The owner, but also all staff members are extremely polite. The owner came to us all those times to ask if we liked the sandwiches and if everything was to our liking. I didn't see him pick his nose or exhibit any unsanitary behavior. The woman works in the kitchen and prepares the sandwiches together with another lady and I didn't see anything there either. Rude behavior is simply out of the question. It seems as if this company must be denigrated at all costs. No need! And for the sake of clarity, I am a Turk myself and the owners are an Iranian and Bosnian couple. This is about food, so no one, absolutely no one, will protect me with my reviews, but this place does not deserve a bad review in my opinion.

I ordered 2 brie sandwiches with the comment to be careful with cross-contamination due to a deadly chicken egg allergy. I received a call from the owner and the answer was that they would not burn their fingers. Both on their website and on home delivery, nothing is said about the fact that they cannot (or cannot) take this into account. Also gave the solution himself (to clean the knife.) The gentleman refuses any form of cooperation and is very rude. I do not recommend this company.

Gisteravond had mijn broertje erover dat hij bij brood Rotterdam heeft gegeten en toen kreeg ik spontaan watertanden en dacht ik moet snel weer daar eten of afhalen.. Nou ik lig nu in bed en heb mijn man gestuurd van zuid naar noord om een heerlijke Broodje kip te halen… dit broodje is een 10 plus… ik ben met zoveel trek wakker geworden… top tent 👌🏼🥰 als ik me broodje in handen heb plaats ik wel een nieuwe beoordeling na de eerste hap met foto’s😅 maar nu ben ik even te enthousiast dat is zo een lekkere broodje ga smullen op deze zondag ochtend.. Lucky me… waardering gaat overigens ook naar me lieve man.. die zo vroeg de deur uit gaat om dit voor mij te halen.

Went here for dinner for my wedding photo shoot. Deliciously delicious toasted sandwich with their special mayonnaise Pfff. It was really delicious! The drinks were on the house, true gentleman too.

The food in this restaurant is always very good, but unfortunately the owner is very rude and unprofessional. He regularly argues with both customers and staff and shouts so loudly through the shop that my ears hurt. I have personally experienced poor service from the owner several times. It is unfortunate that this situation occurs repeatedly.

Bizarre what I experienced here. I literally saw a man (working) pick his nose here. He then sat (without washing his hand) picking at the seeds on the top of the rolls and eating them with the same dirty hand. Disgusting! I've heard so many good things about this place, but after this it's definitely a no-go. No one wants to see you emptying your nose. And no one has to eat the food you've been touching with your nose-picking fingers.

Verder een kleine tip aan de serveerder: geef wat ilantijd aan jouw klant: dit was een andere klant die voor mij zat, en gooi alsjeblieft zeg niet de spullen, maar Smooth Your Stability and Soften Your Heart If You Know What I mean, Turkish yazicacam : Approach the people in a mannered manner, behave a little softly, like a Dutch servant, I won't say your hands and eyebrows, your look is nice, but your hand movements are not too loose, you are a harsh servant, this only applies to your employee named Muhammed (his name if I'm not mistaken), nothing to the others. I wouldn't say that, I would like to come again soon, I hope you didn't misunderstand.

Anyone who has worked in the catering industry understands that cross-destination is impossible to rule out. Prima plek voor een belegd broodje of een tosti. Door de recente prijsverhogingen kom ik er helaas wat minder vaak dan voorheen. 8 euro voor een weliswaar lekker, maar toch simpel belegd broodje, is gewoon wat te duur. Logisch dat de prijzen in deze tijd wat omhoog zijn gemoeten, maar dit lijkt me buiten proportioneel. Bovendien zou ik het waarderen als er een alternatief aanwezig was voor de 'gewone' melk. Er zullen toch genoeg klanten zijn die vragen om soja- of havermelk in de koffie?

Good place for a quick coffee stop while walking the city. Friendly staff and good, affordable coffee. The toilet did not have a good lock so we had to hold the door shut ourself.

Wat een verschrikkelijke zaak … je komt binnen … en wordt gelijk weer naar buiten gestuurd terwijl niet-beeldend gevraagd werd wat je eigenlijk wilde … toen weer naar binnengeroepen .. waar het op neer komt is dat ze te druk bezig waren om mensen te helpen en de manier waarop … verre van klantvriendelijk… waren ook niet bereid iets te maken …. Nooit meer daarheen !!!

I came into the restaurant and one of the staff people started speaking Dutch to me, so I kindly asked him to speak English. In a very rude tone, he told me 'It would be easier for you to say you don't speak Dutch'. I ordered a sandwich and it was tasteless, no flavour at all. It was also an expensive sandwich. I payed and took off and the staff did not smile once whilst I was in their store.

Een gemiddeld koffie huis waar je ook de lunch kunt gebruiken. Taart niet zelf gebakken en ook de koffie niet echt heel bijzonder.

Wij drinken hier soms een kopje koffie met lekkers. Ik ben niet weg van de capuchino, zwarte koffie is goed. Altijd iets lekkers erbij en persoonlijke aandacht. Waar vind je dat nog.
