The tastiest bread I know, but also delicious cakes. Super friendly staff. I'm going to Rotterdam especially for this (which is no punishment either)

Accidentally found this place while strolling. The lovely smell of butter called me in and the pastry made me stay. Delicious!!

The bakery looks cozy and my mouth is watering when I see all those goodies. But we are strict because the pounds come on faster than the other way around, so we stuck with the carrot nut cake. And what a carrot nut cake. This is our favorite cake, so we are critical, but really, this is the tastiest yet. Better than Dudok and Koekela. Not too sweet, nice and airy and a thick topping. Recommended!!

Bought croissant and pain aux chocolats They were flat, small and not elastic :( However the staff was very nice 😊

Excellent bread and pastries, but you often have to be quick because otherwise it is sold out.

Nice pastry and cake shop where you can buy and order. If you want to order a cake and are looking for examples, check their website first. Not all available cakes are on display in the store. This is not a catering establishment but really a shop. If there is no parking space on the street, the AH parking garage is a good alternative.

I had the most delicious chocolate cake ever here! On 26 December 2023, I turned 40 and I wanted to celebrate with cake. I got the cheesecake here before (very delicious), but now I wanted to try the chocolate cake. I did not regret that at all! Let me start with the friendliness with which I was helped. The lady was working with her daughter that day (24 December). They really do have amazing cakes, cakes, small pastries, biscuits and more here. I bought the chocolate cake (and Minced Meat Pie, more on that later). They advised me to store the cake outside the fridge and they guaranteed that the cake would still be good on the 26th. She didn't lie a word about that. The pie was delicious and definitely even tastier on the 26th. The cake was not dry, had the perfect flavour and I was not too full after eating the cake (dangerously delicious that is :-)). So I definitely recommend this cake! End an the Minced Manure Pie. I bought this one on the advice of the Urban Bakery. A friend of mine lived in the UK for years and he loved them. Thanks again, I will definitely come back!

The chocolate cake… SO delicious. A (Ukrainian) baker who also had his own bakery has been working there for a number of months and spoke passionately about the ingredients in it. When talking about the topping she said proudly; yes those are the best ingredients for it and it contains chocolate, with chocolate with chocolate haha. She looked at her work with a lot of love and for me that is testimony to someone who is passionate about her profession and actually wants to create something beautiful. It is also absolutely not comparable to a multi-flan or something similar. I have already had the cake 4 times and I will keep coming back! 8 pieces is a nice division for this cake.

Food was great, the stuff were really friendly and gave my dog a water bowl without even asking 💕 super nice area outside as well! Would go again def!

Went to urban bakery today, staff are not so nice at all. the cashier treated me in a passive aggressive manner, and didn’t hear what I was saying. I’m not going there anymore, for sure. the pretend to be a good bakery but the quality isn’t that good, and in the end is only expensive food.

We have been coming here for the pastries for years and they are always delicious. Today we got an ice cream with a homemade ice cream cone. Nothing but good about the taste, but €4.60 for an ice cream with 2 scoops is way too much in my opinion! I know that everything has become much more expensive, but getting an ice cream is no longer an option this way. Shame.

Urben bakery amehoela, elite bakery zul je bedoelen een half brood uit de vriezer voor 5 euro. En de gebakjes/cakejes ver overprijst!

Top kwaliteit bakker! Ze gebruiken Meereen deels natuurlijk ingrediënten. Elk dag wordt vers gebakken. Citroen meringue cake “must to taste”-mijn favorite. Ik kom hier regelmatig terug Heerlijk latte machiato!

Small bakery but they sell great cupcakes and chocolate sweets, as well as tasty bread! Super recommended!

Heerlijke koffie met nog lekkere taartjes

Ik kom er nu al 6 jaar af en aan, ongeveer maandelijks. Nooit iets gekocht wat niet goed/lekker was. De heerlijkste baksels in alle soorten en maten, en in de zomer ook nog eens heerlijke ijsjes!

Fijne en vriendelijke bakker met een heerlijk assortiment. Niet goedkoop, maar "passende" prijzen.

Very sweet and welcoming staff. All the goods baked and frozen very promising. Today tried for the first time their ice cream definitely made with passion and flavor. Very milky and just the right amount of sweetness. Our ultimate favorite are the scones, the size, price and flavor most definitely 10+ please keep it that way! My daughter's favorite will be their chocolate,cheesecake cup cake with raspberry.

Heerlijke chocolade taart. Cheesecake cupcake was verrukkelijk! Klantvriendelijke mensen. Snelle thuisbezorgservice. Ik vond het leuk dat ze mijn naam op het doosje schreven.

We tried the chocolate cake, NY cheesecake and the cocos berry bar. Overall all of them were "correct" - not too sweet, properly done, not too anything. And that's my problem - they are just "correct" as if done from a cook book. There is nothing special neither the looks, the taste, nor the combination of flavors. Yes, good bakes, there are dozens of worse places than UB, but equally there are better ones and WAY better ones. UB is just middle of the road. We also tried the spekulaas bar; looked gorgeous, but tastewise (agin, very consistent) lacked any wow! seen worse, seen better.

Wat een schattige zaak. We hebben er heerlijk gebak gegeten en koffie gedronken. De service was uitstekend zeker een aanrader.

Fui al 'Garage Museum' en el lado opuesto de la calle y allí se recomendó la Urban Bakery. Una tienda pequeña y acogedora que sirve un capuchino muy bueno y una deliciosa tarta de queso cassis. Calurosa hospitalidad. Un montón de espacio y un agradable ambiente informal.

Nice spot for a coffee break or to work, very close to the city centre and Markthal. Staff is friendly and helpfull. You should definitely try ye spelt bar, you will not regret it :)

Estaba aquí con los extraños cuando exploraba la ciudad. Nos detuvimos y hay una gran agonía de exquisitos pasteles y dulces. ¡Un montón de buenos cafés también! Tomé un cappucino encantador y una gran pieza enorme de appelpie. Los que faltan eligen un buen bagel y usted. El personal es amable y servicial El lugar en sí es ordenado y limpio. ¡Volveremos a probar los otros pasteles y dulces deliciosos! La elección de los pasteles es greeaaaat! ! ! Sigan con el buen trabajo!
