got kebabs, chicken was better than the beef. there was a bit too much beef and not enough vegetables making it a bit hard to eat as it was just like eating only meat

I didn't get what I ordered. After I mentioned it again, I still didn't get what I paid for. The staff works hard, but they don't give the impression they know what they're doing.

Excellent place for a quick bite. Incredibly friendly staff and great service. We had a Turkish pizza doner and a kapsalon falafel. The doner was fresh and well-seasoned. The falafel, unlike many other places, wasn't overly greasy and was very tasty. All in all, a great experience. I'll definitely be back!

I came here late at night. The place was (as always) full of drunk antisocial students who came from outside Amsterdam. The fries were boring and I couldn't even call the mayonnaise a fries sauce, as if yogurt had been added. The thinner bun was super dry and the meat was mechanically separated meat and tasted like nothing. The garlic sauce was bad and the sambal was nowhere to be seen.

It says on Google that they close at 4, but they close well before 4 at night, so if you walk there after going out, bad luck buddy

OK I did a lot of reviews in my life and I wanted to be straight up so everybody knows what’s going on with this place. So we get back from the train station and walking by this place and we said well let’s try it out so we walked in and there’s a picture of a combination on the menu, 2 gyros, french fries and a Coke for €12. I asked the guy I said that comes with 2 gyros and in perfect English. He said yes. I was so clear with him. Because I travel a lot and you really gotta be real clear to people, so they understand. Anyway, I said OK I’ll take that. I also ordered some chicken nuggets as well. You give me the bag and he says €30 I said €30. It says €12 for the combination. he said no it comes with one euro and you ordered two euros so that’s 24 bucks plus he charge me five bucks for the nuggets. I looked at them and I knew something was off about this guy. First of all he said it was €30 and it’s always a red flag when there’s no sense to it like €30.21, he gave me a receipt and I asked him where is the receipt that shows what I paid for and he wouldn’t give me one and he didn’t have it to give me. He just busted out his calculator. It’s always a red flag when it’s an even number. If you would’ve said €29,98 or €30.45 it’s a little bit more legit but not exactly 30. It’s never an even number. Anyways, so I said find whatever I got the food I was hungry and I paid double. The pitcher literally has two euros on it and I asked him straight to his space and he said to me straight good English yeah, it comes with two euros. So I took it to go because my Place is close by. I opened it up. I’m thinking fine. I hope it’s good. Man this was the toughest lamb you ever had in your life. Absolutely made my jaw hurt eat one whole gyro. The food is absolutely terrible. It’s just a sloppy mess around together. I tried to close the bread so I could hold it like a burrito but it just wouldn’t stay together. And that’s fine. As long as the meat was tender. Everybody know they sliced the meat right off The Spicket but I didn’t pay attention. I felt like he may have cut some meat off earlier and let it dry out and that’s what he served me. Nevertheless, it is what it is but it’s absolutely terrible food and I would never recommend this to anybody. And it’s sad because I wanted to support this business, but unfortunately, it’s a rip off in my opinion and the food was terrible. Stay away from this place. By the way, I double checked this place on my receipt. It has a very similar name but on yelp and Google. It has a little bit of a different name but it’s definitely the same place. Below is the picture of the receipt. He didn’t have an itemized receipt for me so I can see how much I was being charged. He just told me €30. also I’m hiding my transaction ID on this receipt you’re looking at with one of his french fries, which also was terrible

Tourism scammers? As we finished eating and as we wanted to pay, the owner told us, maybe lied to us, that the prices you can see everywhere are without taxes. We had to pay additional +9% taxes. He even wanted us to finish our paid for drinks in his store so he can get the bottles in return for deposit. For german: Food okay. But be careful, it's all about the money, maybe it's a tourist scammer? When we wanted to pay he suddenly said that the prices everywhere were without tax. We had to pay the tax on top. The prices are on the posters, on the cards, everywhere. We also had two menus with a drink each. We didn't want to drink a drink on site and took it with us. Then he complained again because he didn't have the deposit for a can 😐

Extremely nice people with a good sense of humor. The Turkish pizza is homemade and comes with a good amount of filling. All the snacks and French fries are prepared per order. I highly recommend having a snack here, even during the late hours. Don't be discouraged by groups of people waiting for food; the service is efficient and fast.

Super aardige mensen, heb vaak mogen zien hoe ze de turkse pizza's vers aan het maken waren (deeg en alles). Beter dan dit krijg je ze niet :)

Heerlijk gegeten om half3 snachts. Vlees was wel vergeten op de Turkse pizza, maar later nog los gekregen. Goede service.
