Great food, friendly service, but unfortunately, there's no baby changing station. Very strange in 2025. The way this was explained when we asked wasn't friendly either (you'll have to go to Hema instead).

Cozy atmosphere, high-quality food, and friendly service. We ordered 7up zero, but they said they didn't have it, even though it's listed on the menu. But the service and large portions made up for it!

Friendly people, delicious food, nice atmosphere. The kids loved coloring. For me personally, a play area in the back would make it even more fun as a mother of three, but it's definitely a great place already.

We came on a Saturday when there was a market. Luckily we got a table for 4 people outside, where we were greeted by a friendly waiter. We got a delicious red velvet brownie, poffertjes and bread with eggs. The last star would have been given if we had some dip for the food.

Always nice to have lunch here when you are in deventer. They have an extensive menu and it is always surprised by the delicious food, coffee or smoothies and the staff is the icing on the cake you always get so happy from it

We spontaneously popped into this café in search of a sweet snack. We got a seat straight away and browsed through the menu. After the food arrived, a member of staff spontaneously told me which brownies and blondies were on my mixed platter. Super friendly! We loved the concept, the drinks and the food there. We'd love to go again! :)

On a beautiful square, under the flowering chestnut trees, very friendly greeting and help and a delicious meal. Tip: give a generous tip, so that they can do something fun together with all the staff.

What friendly staff and excellent food

We ordered poffertjes for our four-year-old and coffee and cake for us. However, it took 20 minutes before we got our poffertjes. (Meanwhile also asked if it had come through correctly) they indicated that it was normal because it came from the kitchen. Well, 20 minutes for poffertjes is a very long time. And I assume that poffertjes are mainly ordered for children. Small children have little patience, so something else would have to be devised for this. In between I wanted to change our 1.5 year old's diaper. This was not possible because they had no changing facility. In 2024, this is also poorly organised. Our pastry was delicious, but too bad this is not a child-friendly place.

I would love to come here for a cup of coffee. Wonderful team with passionate staff.

A really nice place to have a delicious meal. So cool to see how enthusiastic these people are. The atmosphere between the employees is truly infectious. So cheerful and loving. People with Down syndrome also have a lot to give. And what's more, the food is also very tasty. Really great!

Beautiful concept with very sweet and fun staff. The brownies have really good taste and texture. Big thumbs up to the staff and supervisors.

It is very beautiful here on the square of Deventer. The food here is really top quality, although the portions are not very large (the cakes anyway) but the taste is really great.

We ordered a cappuccino and received a real party on a tray with pieces of brownie, whipped cream and glasses of water. And it wasn't expensive!

We stumbled upon this cute cafe on our way back home. Their coffee and chai selection are nice, their brownies are very delicious. Place is neat with a simple decoration. But the best part is the service! The staff is so nice and warm. I loved it how they still wanted to talk with us in English even though they were not fully feeling comfortable. And they did a great job with it! Great job for the people who have come up with the idea and who are working here!

Ate here for the first time. Cozy eatery. We received friendly service and the food was delicious. We had a Carpaccio sandwich. More than enough portion and deliciously fresh. Definitely worth repeating.

Lekkere tosti en je voelt je daar erg op je gemak. Heel leuk!!

Kom je in Deventer, ga dan vooral naar deze superfijne gelegenheid. Zeer lekkere koffie met gebak en heel veel slagroom. Een 24-uurtje dat een prijs/kwaliteit beoordeling van “twelve points” heeft. Ik heb overigens nog nooit zulk een vriendelijk personeel meegemaakt Echt een aanrader.

Het personeel is echt top Vriendelijk niets is te veel gevraagd De koffie is voortreffelijk en het eten vind ik zelf zalig Vooral het 12 uurtje is de paprika soep jumm Echt aanrader om er eens heen te gaan

Wat een leuke tent en fijn personeel het broodje smaakte heerlijk de patat was goed en ruim voldoende ik kom hier zeker nog een keer terug

De cappuccino en tosti waren erg lekker, maar wel wat duur. Op site staan geen prijzen, dus in de zaak was het een verrassing. Maar dan ben je er al en ga je niet meer weg. De cappuccino zat ook in een erg klein kopje zonder oortje. Wel geserveerd met glaasje slagroom en water. De ham-kaas tosti van spelt-brood was mooi opgemaakt en erg smakelijk. Vriendelijke bediening.

Lunch bij Brownies en Downies is altijd heerlijk. Ook deze keer weer lekker gegeten. Super enthousiast en gedreven personeel.

Heerlijk koffie gedronken en lunch! Door drukte keuken erg langzaam, 40 minuten op lunch gewacht. Overigens wel de moeite waard.

Gezellig kopje koffie en appeltaart gegeten, vriendelijke bediening.
