Kudos to Mark @ Burger Bar at Prinsengracht tonight. He handled my order, cooked it up and delivered it while dealing with several other customers and didn't miss a beat. Delicious burger and fries!! 😋😋

One of the best Burgers I ever tried

Nice music, nice place and vigorous food. Tried the smash burguer and regular fries, as well as the parmesan fries. Well served and good quality and flavor. Very polite and friendly service

The burger, fries, and drink combo is the best option. The fries are very good. The burger is also good, but I found the meat a bit dry. But overall, highly recommended.

What a fantastic experience this was. The atmosphere in the place is very pleasant, and you feel welcome as soon as you step inside. It is the perfect place for a good meal in an informal setting. The burgers are truly excellent and exactly as you hope they will be. The fries, in particular, which are served in a metal basket with a generous portion of sauce, were deliciously crispy. Everything was prepared fresh and flavorful. We will definitely be back here again.

Good hamburgers in terms of both quality and price. You even get plastic gloves to keep your hands clean!!

Their hamburgers are quite delicious, and their fries might be better than most fries shops. They have tables right next to the canal. You can easily get there by getting off at the Prinsengracht station.

Nice restaurant on the canal. The best part is the view , loved it. The service is ok, however two servers are not enough to cover the restaurant. The food is good, some burgers are a bit dry , but the prices are good. Overall a decent restaurant, but I don’t think it’s worth coming back.

I ordered two burgers, one Wagyu and one Angus, and one order of fries. They were all delicious; the Wagyu was juicier, and the fries were great too. What I liked was that everything in the restaurant is halal, even the bacon. I ordered to go; you have to ask for the ketchup and mayonnaise. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was an excellent experience, and if I want a burger, I'll definitely go again.

You can watch the food being prepared. It tasted great to the whole family. Excellent value for money for Amsterdam.

I usually really enjoy any burger bar location. But when I asked for my burger to be cooked rare, with which all other burger bars have had no problem with, this guy told me they are not allowed due to health concerns. I tend to not believe the answer considering you can buy a broodje tartaar which is basically raw in other snackbarlocations in the city. I got a ruined paddy and the burger wasn’t juicy. Mind you I love burger bars and usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this kind of pissed my of and left me disappointed. Edit on the 21th of may. After amazing customer service this issue has been settled and therefore changing my star rating :-D

Was craving a good burger and fries and this hit the spot. Did the build your own burger and they had great options. I mistakenly didn’t tell them no pickles or sauce on my burger - my mistake - but they refired it quickly no charge. Great service, great food, nice seating inside or outside.

Burger are decent, but I have had better. The good thing about this place is the location: its very central and it's open very late at night which makes it a perfect place to eat after or before a party. Staff was kind and it's very accessible with everything on ground floor for people with reduced mobility.

The beef is well-prepared, but it's overcooked, which is a shame. The pork belly is cooked perfectly. The chicken burger is good. As for the fries, let's just say we're not used to this type of fries. After two or three, they really sit heavy in your stomach, and when you look at the other tables, the trays of fries on every other meal are still full. I think they need to make a change, or maybe it's the potato variety that's causing this. Oh, and the Coke (200ml) comes in a glass bottle, which is great.

Burger here was right on point , one of the best we had in Amsterdam, service was nice and smiley . Burgers are cooked right in front of you so that’s a plus also they got to us really fast . Only downside most of the tables were dirty and didn’t feel really good eating on .

Ordered for takeaway and got two overdone burgers on stale buns and ice cold fries all for 45 euro. Very very disappointing

The burger was amazing! The only thing was that the table was dirty, and I should have asked them directly to clean it with a wet wipe. BEST Burgerbar location that is a lifesaver after a night out in the bars/pubs of Leidsplein!! Great quality smashed burgers, fast and friendly service, and nice quiet atmosphere for a good meal even after midnight!

This place is amazing! So happy we stumbled upon here for a late night bite. Service was awesome and staff were friendly. Their burgers and fries were amazing! Cooked to order and every bite was so juicy and flavorful! Not at all greasy! It didn’t feel heavy eating it. I was so impressed. Would definitely come back!

I had just finished dinner and it was my last day in Amsterdam, and I still hadn't eaten any burgers here, and I'm a burger fanatic, so even with a full stomach, I managed to find room for a burger that was amazing, fantastic atmosphere, friendly people.

The burgers are delicious and the fries are homemade. The service was excellent; one of the guys even brought us a new sauce they're about to launch.

The best vegetarian burger I’ve ever had!! They use Redefine "Meat" for the patty, it's a plant-based alternative to meat. You can even create your own burger. The staff is super friendly! I highly recommend this place!

We went in at around 6pm with no reservation, we were served immediately and had a table. We didn't have to wait long for the food either. We had a smash burgers each and shared the chips - a good amount for 2 people. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Not too expensive, total was about €30 for two people. Would absolutely come back here again!

Good Hamburger, excessive price

We came half an hour before closing and after a concert near by. Even though it was late, the service was super nice, the food was fantastic and over all a 10/10.

Ordered full English and what came was unbuttered burnt toast, a basically raw sausage and a tonne of chips. Mushrooms and tomato were mushy and tasteless. Before ordering I kindly asked if I could switch the baked beans to anything else and he was insulted I would even ask and loudly refused. Extremely expensive, maybe the burgers are good…

The staff were incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere was great, and the burgers with fries were simply amazing – clearly some of the best I've ever had. The only slight downside is that the place is a bit cramped, but it's definitely worth the trip.

2.5 hours waiting for delivery. Food was cold. Unacceptable.

We paid for some drinks and burgers. First off, they forgot one of our drinks. Then when we finally got our food, two of the burgers did not come. One came much later then the rest, and after asking 3 times for our last (they did not care at all), they still weren’t making it. The grill was empty, and everyone finished their burger and the other one still did not come, so we left. Would never go again, burgers themselves were also not that good.

I really wouldn't recommend this place. The food was terrible. The fries were frozen, and the "homemade lemonade" was disgusting and way too expensive! You're better off going to McDonald's...

Placed a take away order of two burgers and two side with added ketchup. Received sealed bag from shop. One side missing and no ketchup. Unable to refund due to distance from shop when discovered. Very displeased.

The food is mostly nice, I have been coming to this shop regularly for the last 3 years. I just deleted my old comment and added this new one because something worse happened - the new manager( clean shaved Middle Eastern guy ) behaved so badly - he was also pushing a colleague to give him head/shoulder massage while standing on the counter - the overall to experience was so bad.

Such a bad and rude service - I won’t come here again even we refererend so many ppl.

What can i say, service was very friendly and fast. The food was amazing, me and my friend had Philly Cheesesteak burgers and those were the best burgers either of us have ever eaten and it's not just because we we're next door Easy Times before coming to eat. Also very well located spot where you can enjoy the canal there while eating. Would eat again. 10/10.

Not the best spot if you have soy, peanut, nut, or celery allergies, so ended up with a sprite nothing on the menu was safe, and there’s no allergy info online. My friend’s burger was fine but nothing special , but it arrived lukewarm after being forgotten at the counter. We came in excited, but left pretty disappointed.

“We don’t serve tap water”. Absolute shameful and greedy. Really good service and quite fast orders. Really good fries but 5 euros for a small bowl of fries is quite excessive. Portions were not tuned as showed in the picture.

Horrible experience. We booked for 12 people, and when we showed up, they hadn’t arranged anything for us. As a result, we had to squeeze in a table of 8!!! People. Aditionally, we had explicitly checked that they had gluten-free buns. However, when ordering they suddenly tell us that they didn’t have any more. Poor service, no alternative options offered. Further, the portions are small for their price. Further, there is a VERY HEAVY smell to marihuana, making it as a whole a very disgusting experience. Me and my friends will never come back.
