Such a great burger bar!! Tasty big burgers, great fries and Finger food!

The staff were incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere was great, and the burgers with fries were simply amazing – clearly some of the best I've ever had. The only slight downside is that the place is a bit cramped, but it's definitely worth the trip.

2.5 hours waiting for delivery. Food was cold. Unacceptable.

We paid for some drinks and burgers. First off, they forgot one of our drinks. Then when we finally got our food, two of the burgers did not come. One came much later then the rest, and after asking 3 times for our last (they did not care at all), they still weren’t making it. The grill was empty, and everyone finished their burger and the other one still did not come, so we left. Would never go again, burgers themselves were also not that good.

I really wouldn't recommend this place. The food was terrible. The fries were frozen, and the "homemade lemonade" was disgusting and way too expensive! You're better off going to McDonald's...

Placed a take away order of two burgers and two side with added ketchup. Received sealed bag from shop. One side missing and no ketchup. Unable to refund due to distance from shop when discovered. Very displeased.

It was the best burger we've had in a long time. Both the chicken and beef burgers were excellent. It's hard to find chicken and meat that aren't dry; we definitely recommend it.

The food is mostly nice, I have been coming to this shop regularly for the last 3 years. I just deleted my old comment and added this new one because something worse happened - the new manager( clean shaved Middle Eastern guy ) behaved so badly - he was also pushing a colleague to give him head/shoulder massage while standing on the counter - the overall to experience was so bad.

Not the best spot if you have soy, peanut, nut, or celery allergies, so ended up with a sprite nothing on the menu was safe, and there’s no allergy info online. My friend’s burger was fine but nothing special , but it arrived lukewarm after being forgotten at the counter. We came in excited, but left pretty disappointed.

What can i say, service was very friendly and fast. The food was amazing, me and my friend had Philly Cheesesteak burgers and those were the best burgers either of us have ever eaten and it's not just because we we're next door Easy Times before coming to eat. Also very well located spot where you can enjoy the canal there while eating. Would eat again. 10/10.

Usually reliable until recently. I ordered more than 50 euros worth of wings and all of them were stale. Disgusting. At least Uber Eats gave me a full refund - will not order from this place again.

This place is amazing! I had the smash burger with carmelized onions and it was the best burger I’ve ever had!! Delicious and such a beautiful view!

Really good burgers! I went with my girlfriend and we had a great time. The owner (I think) was very friendly and always smiling. Highly recommended for a quiet dinner. Prices are reasonable.

There was a slight burnt taste, although there was no burnt evidence. Delicious fries, but everything was very pricey!

“We don’t serve tap water”. Absolute shameful and greedy. Really good service and quite fast orders. Really good fries but 5 euros for a small bowl of fries is quite excessive. Portions were not tuned as showed in the picture.

It is amazing from the service from the volume and the value of the food and it’s very tasty really from Mr dumb. I have visited a lot of places but this place is very warm cozy and the location is amazing and the burger and all the details to the points and thanks to all of also For his kindness and excellent service

We have reserved a table for 12 people a month in advanced and asked if they would have gluten free bread. We basically reserved the place just for this reason. When we arrived they didn’t know anything about the reservation and sat us at a table for 8 people. After sitting down we order the gluten free bun and they ran out of it… it’s really bad service and communication between employees

Horrible experience. We booked for 12 people, and when we showed up, they hadn’t arranged anything for us. As a result, we had to squeeze in a table of 8!!! People. Aditionally, we had explicitly checked that they had gluten-free buns. However, when ordering they suddenly tell us that they didn’t have any more. Poor service, no alternative options offered. Further, the portions are small for their price. Further, there is a VERY HEAVY smell to marihuana, making it as a whole a very disgusting experience. Me and my friends will never come back.

Best burger ever!!! Simply excellent!!! The quality of the meat, the mastery of the cooking, and the overall taste of these burgers (Ultimate Angus and Smash Burger) were well-balanced. The fries were also very good. The place is full of charm (a little trendy industrial feel), overlooking the canal. Very good coleslaw and mayo. Top notch! The prices couldn't be more reasonable and justified given the quality! Excellent welcome and service. It's a shame the Burger Bar is so far from home (we were passing through Amsterdam for a few days), otherwise we would have come back very, very quickly!!! ❤️ Thank you so much for this great time!

Tried the double smashed burger, the patty was juicy but the bun was a bit too dense. Onion rings were excellent.

We were only here for a quick coffee, so I can't comment on the food. The service was super friendly and even gave my daughter something to draw. Our two dogs got a bowl of water when we got our coffee. Overall, I definitely recommend it 😁

When we heard about Burgerbar, we didn't think we'd find a place like this, but they make delicious sandwiches. We tried the smash burger, homemade fries, and breaded chicken fillets, and it was all excellent. 😍😍😍 Highly recommended 👍🏻

Very nice place on the banks of one of Amsterdam's canals. The burgers are very good, the right size—not huge, but filling! The fries are crispy and good. The service isn't super fast, but it's adequate. The staff is very friendly and young! Highly recommended.

they offered water to my dog during the pride parade and were very accommodating even though it was completely packed. fries were good and nicely salted and burger was lekker.

We went there to get a burger on Pride. The staff was super nice, even offering us water for our dog. The fries were also very well cooked. Would definitely recommend!

The burguer was fresh and with an amazing quality. The truffle and parmesan fries were crunchy and the sauce really good. Definitely a place I'd recommend.

A well located spot. Food was good. Service friendly. However, it was quite full and the food took about 45 minutes. So they were understaffed. Also two basic menu items were not available. Like chicken wings. Otherwise, a nice vibe. Prices were reasonable, pity that the burger does not include fries.

A good burger and very good fries. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view of the canal was nice, and the option to sit outside will be a huge plus for many. The only downside is that the tables and menus could be a bit cleaner.

I visited Burger Bar on the 5th of July with my son. We ordered a classic burger, a chicken burger and cheesy jalapeño fries. We wanted our burgers well-done. When our order arrived, it not only looked mouthwatering and delicious but tasted so amazing. The cheesy fries were so tasty and the burgers were succulent, juicy, cooked to perfection the way we wanted. My son and I didn’t speak to each other while eating as it was so delicious we didn’t want to waste time or to let our burgers get cold…..what a wonderful start to our tour with amazing food. The server was so helpful and carefully took down our order, giving us valuable advice too with our choices. The ambience, the food, the service everything was amazing!!! I’m surely rating this burger joint a 10/10!!!!

We were craving burgers and ended up choosing burger bar. I would say it's not a top notch burger! You can still find better. The smash burger is tooo oily and the chicken kind of dry. 6/10...

Ate here for lunch today. I had the French toast burger and my husband had the brisket sandwich. Both were absolutely FABULOUS! Great canal side seating and attentive service. A must try spot for a good meal in Amsterdam!

That's a 3,5 from me, but half a star more for the entertainment in the form of a seagull who would not stop until it was fed. My burgers was well done and I prefer medium. The smash was a little too dry and salty for my taste. The service was very nice though, we did not have to wait too long for anything.

We waited about 10 minutes to place an order, then about 40 minutes for food. Food - delicious, fresh meat and fries, you can feel that they are made of real, good potatoes - amazing. Service very nice - the waitress asked if everything was to our taste, we also asked later to turn down the air conditioning a bit, because it was blowing centrally on our table and we were getting cold - the waiter immediately replied with a smile that there was no problem and the air was turned off. I highly recommend :)

So worth it! The burgers and fries are delicious! Patricia, who works there, was so nice that made our night better.

All in all, a good burger joint. The atmosphere is more like a cross between a restaurant and a snack bar, but that didn't bother us much. The food came relatively quickly, even though it was a bit busy, and it really wasn't bad.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS The place was 1/3rd full and we had to wait 30 minutes for our burger. When they came, all our throats were burning because everything was incredibly salty. We were not able to taste anything at all. Add to that the harsh weed smell coming from next door and the fact that the burgers were really expensive for what you get, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly folks, tasty food, and convenient takeaway

My wife has celisc disease, and this place has gluten free buns. I called to make sure they had the bun, then ordered the food here, citing that I need gluten free buns. I called again to confirm, the person on the phone said i needed to pay extra for the bun (which is not an option on uber eats). When I said i can pay for it, he said you already ordered the discount items you need to pay extra!! When i pressed, its ok we will manage to send. Then i look back at the order and its cancelled! Very dishonest
