Burger Bar in De Weteringschans

Great spot for brunch or lunch when you’re out in the city. It’s a new burger bar concept, but they offer way more than just burgers. The chicken was a highlight—super crispy (you can get it with or without bones) and the sauces were amazing. I loved the garlic soy honey and the sweet BBQ. The fries were also great—skin-on and double fried, really crispy. Cocktails were a nice surprise too, very well made. Service was excellent, we felt really well taken care of. There’s outdoor seating right by the canal and the inside is modern, spacious, and cozy. Would definitely come back!

My wife has celisc disease, and this place has gluten free buns. I called to make sure they had the bun, then ordered the food here, citing that I need gluten free buns. I called again to confirm, the person on the phone said i needed to pay extra for the bun (which is not an option on uber eats). When I said i can pay for it, he said you already ordered the discount items you need to pay extra!! When i pressed, its ok we will manage to send. Then i look back at the order and its cancelled! Very dishonest

good simply phenomenal, Absolutely delicious We took wings in lemon honey garlic sauce, something amazing, they were sweet and tingly and the touches of garlic made it simply delicious Halfanio chips which were a bit heavy but again absolutely delicious I took the Blue Mantle which was simply wow!! The saltiness of the cheese complimented the meat like crazy and the meat itself was simply high quality, fatty, juicy and delicious, did I mention it?

At the top and reasonable price. Located on the edge of the canal, quiet breakfast

The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, with fresh toppings and soft, perfectly toasted buns. The sides were just as impressive!!

Fantastic burgers, meat, and buns. Truffle fries with parmesan were good as well. It is hard to eat burgers by hand when they are not wrapped in any paper, and they are juicy.

Overall, the burger is quite nice. The beef is thick and has a strong beef flavor. I added the blue cheese and caramelized onions, highly recommend these two. However, the bread is not contain enough butter, tastes like a plain bread. And the tomato and lettuce did not make the burger taste better.

We had a great experience at the Burger Bar in Amsterdam. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything was freshly prepared. One highlight that really stood out was the French Toast Burger – it was incredibly tasty and something truly different! Sweet, savory, and totally unexpected – I loved every bite. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the mood for something out of the ordinary. We’d happily come back!

I had my hotel near this place. It has a homey patio for outside but inside is also comfy. The music is not too loud. The food was great. I have gluten intolerance and upon asking for a bunless burger it was no problem. The portion size was perfect and the service was friendly and quick. Warmly recommend.

Great burger! After I discovered Burgerbar in Utrecht, it became one of my favorite places in the Netherlands. This Amsterdam restaurant has table service and is located on a quiet street (I highly recommend it). The dining room is very comfortable, and the burger and fries are typical of Burgerbar, excellent! One of my top choices in Amsterdam!

What a shame . Super fantastic burger but an empty room and to be honest I was there because the guy in Lombardo burger restaurant had run out of burgers by 7pm. Again, the chef certainly knows how to cook and dress the perfect burger.

Had a terrible experience trying to order with Uber Eats, it took more than 1.5 hours, and I had to cancel and lost my money. This is after they said it would take 30 minutes. Update: I wrote to Burger Bar, over a week ago after the commented on my review. And guess what? I haven’t heard from them. I was expecting that they were sincere in trying to understand and make it up to me. I guess not

Classic burger chain environment. I got an angus for €20... well, what can I say: I'm Tuscan and I've eaten plenty of meat. It was okay, a classic fast food burger done a little better, but nothing special. But in short... if you need to have a quick dinner it's within the average price of Amsterdam.

My favorite place for burgers and amazing potato fries! Pick your own patty size, bun, topping, type of meat and tell them how well you want your meat done. They always got the nicest people who get the burger done all perfectly. Personal favorite combi is the blue cheese burgee. Besides the beef, the chicken and veggie and vegan burgers are also excellent. With good weather sit outside by the canal or takeaway on the boat. When rainy, sit warm inside with music cosy atmosphere and most importantly; clean bathroom to wash hands and clean up after.

Wagyu burger with Old Amsterdam and caramelized onions. Perfectly medium fried, great brioche bun and very good sauce. Anytime again 👍🏻

Prices here are extremely expensive, not worth the average quality and small amount of food. 16 euros for a burger with no fries. With fries it's 21 euros. Add a drink then it's 25 euros. Seats are not comfortable either. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they don't determine the prices, but it's egregiously expensive, simply not worth it.

Great service and unique burger selection

The food was truly a 10/10. This was the first shop I went to in Amsterdam and was immediately amazed by the ambience and fler. The graffiti on the wall was my personal highlight after the double cheeseburger and the Bales sweet potato. I would tell every tourist who is currently in Amsterdam and also every local to eat or order here when they have a Monchos again.

The orange juice in this place was great! We went there for breakfast, and had some darn good scrambled eggs. The toast bread was great as well. However, the side dishes were very limited, it would be nice to have some sliced tomatoes and cucumbers with the rest of the dishes. Still, nice place.

At the entrance we were not greated. The waitress wearing white blouse was very disrespectful by not bringing tissues, cuttlery or any service at all not even when we got our food was not even paying us attention if were enjoying the food or not. Food and kitchen was ok.

I was not very satisfied due to the intense oily taste of their burgers. I think it was served with fries in the old menus, but now they only charge 15€ for the burger. The location is very beautiful, right by the river.
