I sat down here at 12:45 am on a Friday. The atmosphere from the staff was nice, nothing to complain about. The food itself, I ordered 'the real bite' for €15.50. I must say that I expected the burger to be of higher quality, the one I got was well cooked, but the fries were very good. All in all, I give this place a high enough rating as the staff was really nice!

The burgers are a 10, both the point of the meat (which you choose, but they give it the perfect point), as well as the flavor, the quality and everything. The potatoes are very good. We paid €37 for 2 hamburgers, some fries and 2 drinks, the quality-price ratio was also very good.

We were very hungry and spontaneously went to this restaurant. You have to order at the counter and then you can watch everything being freshly prepared. When the food came to the table we were pleasantly surprised! It was a large portion and you could still taste the freshness. The price is reasonable. Definitely a quick and good meal in the middle of the city!

Nice stop for an extravagant lunch. It's a little pricy, even for the hague, but you do get a good meal. A burger menu with a drink is the perfect portion size for me, and one sauce cup comes with the menu for the delicious crispy fries.

I took my friends here after going countless times to BurgerBars in Amsterdam. Genuinely worth the plane ticket, by far my favourite burger. I had the Truffle Royal, they had the Benedict and Spicy crispy chicken. Each around €20 with fires and mayo. My only complaint is I miss the caramelised bacon, not sure when the menu changed.

Decent fries with above-average taste. Would definitely come here again when I'm strolling around Den Haag close to midnight.

Dude, there are mice crawling under my feet while I'm eating inside! I told this to the employee and he just said yes, we are aware, the municipality and our company are trying to take precautions. I ate Irish Burger XL and it was completely raw inside. Even though I liked Medium, I definitely couldn't eat it because it was raw. How can I eat in a place where little mice crawl under my feet?

Great hamburger, nice size and great quality. Friendly staff and very centrally located. Average of 18 euro for a burger world drink is in the high side. Menù itself is not the most user friendly.

Very tasty burgers and freshly cut fries. It's been too long since I visited a Burger Bar, really... This one is much more roomy than the one in Amsterdam where I last went years ago. Would definitely go again to try different burgers.

A little bit expensive, but a really great burger. The staff working here are lovely, and cooked the meat perfectly. My only suggestion would be to add a little more mayo to the cup for the fries, or also offer the classic burger sauce instead, it's great!

I'm there regularly specifically for their Wagyu burger. You should especially have it with Old Amsterdam cheese and a fried egg. And the fries are also very tasty. Very friendly people behind the counter. All in all, a satisfied customer here.!! 😋😃👍🏽

My wife and I eat fries with truffle and parmesan cheese here every other week. Always delicious. Always very friendly service and the atmosphere was always great. The heart of The Hague sometimes feels cold and chilly, but the burger bar is truly a great place! Halal meat would take it all the way across the finish line!!

Forget this place. The chicken burger once a a decent sized one is now but a mere shadow of its former self. It is STILL deceitfully described as "BIG crispy chicken fillet" and the photo shows TWO pieces but in reality it is a single sad anorexic bland crusty state of affairs that should have been put out of its misery a long time ago but due to the shameless greed of this corporate pile of soulless "%&*^%@!" they keep serving it and thereby continuing the cycle of disappointment and frustration of hungry humans. I did a take a photo of it but I kept seeing it on my desktop and it kept triggering my anorexic chicken PTSD at Burger Bar so I deleted it. Any place that does this has no integrity, does not care about its customers but only about pure profit and deserves to be out of business. Am I lying Burger Bar executives? Go ahead and respond. I dare you. I double dare you Muth4^%$ (in a Sam Jackson voice)...😝

Burgers were ok. The staff are a mixed bag. Ok priced and decent options for burgers. There is enough seating room and pretty accessible from centrum. Place has a musty smell probably from frying :-).

Good burgers and good fries. Service is always fast. Way too overpriced for what it is though. And the burgers are never satisfying for a burger-enthusiast like me. I don't enjoy the rucola in the burgers and they are overall just lacking in the amount and type of fillings. The patty is a tad dry. Also wouldn't recommend the hot-dog:(.

Burger was fine, very tasty but I have had better. Could have had a little more vegetables, because there was only a small slice of tomato. Furthermore, the meat was really very well prepared. Would consider eating here again.

Visiting from Texas, happen to be out late looking for something still open.. hours are great the food is fantastic and the service was the most friendly and helpful I’ve ever received in Den Haag. The burger was outstanding and the fries were fresh. I ordered a large fries (because that’s what Americans do) and the owner told me the regular order would be plenty. I loved his honesty and confidence in his product. He was not wrong. Thank you.

Great restaurant, your money with the quality of the meal is worth it. Music is a bit loud. They don't bring the food, otherwise enjoy the food.

Best burgers in The Hague. Wonderfully straight forward and with little frills. When you take a bite, the juice flies around your ears. So wash your hands afterwards.

One of the tastiest burgers I've ever had! Large selection of meat, very tasty Dutch fries! I would give the whole thing a 9.1/10! Absolutely recommended and worth a visit. The price is also completely okay and the taste is really excellent! 🤩

The quality of fries is awesome...but the burger is degrading. Remember the taste of the burger I had a year back and now, difference is huge and on the down side.

Stumbled across this place by accident but it turned out to one of the best burgers I've had in ages! Great selection of different burgers and drinks, all in a really nice setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to making decisions on which burger and what size to get.

-Update May 2024: Still good burgers, but unfortunately the price/quality has deteriorated somewhat. The burgers are often no longer red on the inside (dry) and you now have to pay extra for a sauce other than mayonnaise. --- Finally a burger joint in The Hague that has good, fresh burgers where everything was just good. The burgers are formed from minced meat right in front of you. Nice that the minced meat scale has a large screen on which you can see the weight. You can put together the burger yourself or one of the burgers put together by Burger Bar. After ordering, you will receive a buzzer with which you can pick up the burger when it is ready. In our case it wasn't too long, between 10 and 15 minutes. The fries were also just okay, nothing to say about that. Definitely can't say enough about this place. We will come back more often.

Had a delicious vegan burger with portabello, vegan cheddar and caramelized onions. They also have a vegan Beyond burger and a falafel burger. With the Knaek app I got free fries.

Unfortunately, we didn't have a great experience with the Burger Bar when ordering via Uber Eats. The burgers (Beyond and Portobello) were ok, but I would have given 3 stars or probably wouldn't have written a review at all. This was probably due to the long delivery time, as the burgers were completely cold. So why the text? With the burgers we ordered a bottle of wine (honestly without any information about how big the bottle would be, but it looked big in the picture) and a portion of fries with dip. We got two small bottles of wine, dip and no fries. We ordered late, so maybe the deep fryer was already out (?), but we didn't receive any information about it, neither in advance by email nor with the delivery. And when I tried to call, the store was already closed. Since I didn't have a chance to complain about anything with Uber Eats or even let the restaurant know, I'm doing it this way now. Bit of a shame. But then we'll put the wine in and go to sleep hungry. Cheers. Update: After the owner's response, I'm shocked. The app doesn't respond as it should - I can't rate the order there - or I couldn't until now. I would happily give the three stars again for the food, which was really well received. That has NOTHING TO DO with my review here. I would have liked a reflective and customer-oriented reaction, then I would have happily adjusted the rating to be positive, but so - nope. Sorry. I'm happy for everyone who enjoys it and it's certainly not a bad restaurant, but this reaction is just unprofessional to no end.

Great place to try a fantastic burger. I have tried a lot and can safely say the ones that these guys make are worth it. There are plenty of options, I got the classic one, which came with potatoes and mayo for around 20 euro + a drink for 2-3 euro. The cool think is you can construct your own if you want. The atmosphere is very cozy and the staff is very helpful. For burger lovers - don't miss it.

I like a good burger. This place does that well. Positives - burger looks and tastes good. Great meat, good bun. Nice and simple. I don't know about their vegi options, but I don't go to a Burger Bar and order a meatless meal. The service was a little, slow, but good food does take a bit longer to make.

The vegetarian option was very tasty with great proportion of all ingridients. The black angus was also amazing, very juicy! Price is a little too high but it is worth it if you want to explore new burgers.

Great burgers made with a real beef

The burgers were super juicy, there was a large selection of meat, which I liked Personally really liked it. What I thought was great is that there was beef bacon and beef sausage for the hot dog. You don't see that everywhere! And what should I say? The taste was simply an absolute 10 out of 10! I would heartily recommend this burger bar to anyone in The Hague.

What I loved about this place and kept me coming back was the fact that you can create your own burger. Secondly, the ingredients are fresh and the fries tasted as good as they look in the photo. Waiting time (when crowded) was max 10 min.

They don't have any gluten free options, hence the score. They do have vegan options. Wheelchair accessible but not the toilet, which is on the second floor and you have to climb stairs. The toilet was clean. Twice the price of a McDonald's. The Beyond burgers were very good.

I ordered the English burger, quality is fine. But for 12 euros a burger without a drink or fries is an absurd price

Had a very bad experience yesterday. I have been going here for months. Yesterday we ordered two chicken burgers and they served it to us in cold, dry breakfast bread instead of burger buns. When I asked them about it they were acting like there was nothing wrong. Said chicken burgers are always served in this bread. No, they are not! Even if they are, why is the bread so cold and dry?

The burger was decent,but the price is a bit too high for its quality. The restaurant is nicely designed,this is why i gave a 2 to ambiance. But the music was way too loud and the staff very unfriendly. Would not like to come back again!

Die Burger Bar ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wie auf dem Bild zu sehen, haben wir 2 vegane Beyond Burger und 1 große Pommes gegessen. Das Ambiente und der Service sind wie gewohnt sehr gut. Die Bestellung läuft an der Kasse und war sehr schnell zu bereitet. Der Burger schmeckte sehr lecker und saftig. Leider war das Brötchen etwas trocken und die Pommes zu wenig gesalzen. Jedoch stehen Salzstreuer auf dem Tisch, mit denen wir nachsalzen konnten. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und empfehlen die Burger Bar!

We hadden rond 3:00 am trek en kwamen via Google bij dit restaurant terecht. De wagyu burger was heerlijk. Alles vers.

I’ve had my eye on Burger Bar for about as long as I’ve lived in The Hague, and I guess tonight was the night I finally decided to try it. Now I’m looking forward to my next visit, because I’m so eager to try everything they offer. Their burgers are the best in the city, hands down. I haven’t tasted patties as juicy as their Double Irish Smash in years. They gracefully include standard toppings when you design your own burger, but they offer a variety of extras which I’m sure are as fresh as the ones I had. Every single topping on my burger was fresh, delicious, and struck a solid balance among the others. Lastly, their fries are top-notch, both crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with just the right amount of seasoning, all taken up a notch by the spicy version of them. Great stuff. The sauces that can accompany the fries and burgers are also phenomenal, with my favorite being the truffle sauce which gives the already delicious fries an extra kick. The staff is friendly, helpful and eager to serve, which is the cherry on top on a place that can comfortably claim the crown of best burgers in the city, but I’d wager they have a solid chance of being the best of the entire country. This is an essential place to get a proper hamburger at.

Mooi systeem, bestel via qr code aan tafel. Na 40 minuten een gevraagd waar het eten blijft. Ooh sorry heb het apparaat niet gehoord. Eten netjes gemaakt, dat was top. Echter de bestelde dubbele espresso zijn ze vergeten bij navraag wordt er een lichte discussie tussen personeel gevoerd, conclusie nog steeds geen koffie. Beste eigenaar train uw personeel beter.

Food was cold. And the burgers were dry, not over cooked but dry and tasteless. Im no chef but even I can season a better burger than that.

Paar jaar hier niet gegeten en besteld. Het was zo vies . De portobello was koud, half gekookt. Broodje niet afgebakken echt vies. 1 blaadje sla met veel te veel saus. Ieniemienie portie friet . De smashburger van mijn man was ook niet smaakvol en wederom veel te veel saus en weinig anders. Wat een teleurstelling, nooit meer.

Burgers zijn wel lekker maar ze doen er heel lang over om de bestelling klaar te maken, zijn niet vriendelijk tegen klanten ik heb baby was super koud mijn man wou de deur dicht doen maar hij werd heel agressief aangesproken door zo onbeschoft medewerker , mijn advies aan jullie is niet naar toe gaan.

Heerlijke authentieke burgers die ook Halal zijn..maar helaas kosten ze wel wat meer dan normale burgers daarom 1 ster minder..veel opties vegetarisch en ook vegan..ook veel opties in sausjes en toppings en je kan ook je eigen burger samenstellen..

Collega vond de burger ok, ik vond de mijne vooral erg stinken. Zo erg dat ik me de smaak niet kan herinneren. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet.

Burger i frytki zdecydowanie warte swojej ceny;) Pyszne mięso, świeże warzywa i pyszne chrupiące frytki sparwiają że napewno wrócimy. Daje jednak 4/5 bo niestety bułka była całkowicie zimna ;(

Delicious and super fresh burger and fries, made right in front of you! Meat cooked just as I wanted it, you can also choose to add as many toppings and cheeses as you want, (the combo of double cheddar and old amsterdam was amazing!!), and even change and mix the sauces for on the burger or take off anything you don’t want on it. Staff was super friendly and helpful, highly recommended!
