Not a nice Burger King, too crowded and too small.

I was just here and I'm missing fries and my dip for my chicken nuggets. They were quick, but I can't check my food to see if everything is right, because it's supposed to be right. I left in a rush to catch my train. Once home, I see that I'm missing several things that I actually paid for. This has never happened before. I've been here so often and everything was always complete. Very disappointing. Now I'll always check from now on 😕

Disrespectful staff. The old, short-haired manager in particular! Worst experience ever, never again Burger King Amsterdam for us 🤮🤮🤮

The website says Burger King closes at 23:30. I arrived at 23:25 to grab something to eat, only to find it had already been closed for 5 minutes. This isn't exactly the first time this has happened, either. Please, manager. Pay attention to this. Thank you.

A typical American fast-food restaurant, accessible from the platform. We were there while waiting for our connecting train. The staff were unfriendly and didn't even bother to smile. You don't experience that kind of service in the Netherlands. Since the restaurant is mainly frequented by train passengers, it's very disappointing that there's no restroom. You have to use one of the public restrooms in the station, where you naturally have to pay.

They no longer allow coupons from the app here.

I ordered a Whopper at Amsterdam Central on August 14, 2026. When paying at the counter, I grabbed a tray that was stacked there. Unfortunately, the tray was snarled out of my hands in a ferocious manner by a stocky white woman with medium-short hair who spoke broken Dutch and snapped that I was not allowed a tray. I have never experienced anything like this before... scandalous!

Not a recommended place at all. I give it 1 star because I can't leave it without marking one. There was 1 and a half hours left before the place closed and they had plastic tape on to prevent people from accessing the table area, even though when ordering the food we had chosen to eat in the place, they wanted us to take it away to eat on the street. The friendliness of the person serving the orders (it seemed like the person in charge of the shift) was non-existent. The quality of the food was poor, nothing to do with what you order at the kiosk... I ordered the Crispy Chicken Smoky BBQ and the bacon strips were cold (refrigerator temperature) and almost not grilled (almost not cooked). I do not recommend anyone to go to this establishment to eat.

The burger was good. The fries were cold (not fresh), and the tables were dirty. I've definitely had better Burger King experiences...

First they gave my order to another guy, than they made the wrong sandwich for me and gave me a small soda instead of a large one. They took incompetence to a whole new level. Left the place without even takin the sandwich that i payed for, left it there so they can eat it themselfs.

Very slow service and the BK app doesn't work anywhere in the Netherlands apparently.

1 star Just been here and it was a really bad experience. We simply weren't helped at the counter and were told that they "didn't feel like it" and that we should just order at the self-service kiosk, even though we wanted to pay in cash. No solution or explanation. The staff was very unfriendly and we didn't get a receipt either. The woman at the counter (I think she was the manager) only made matters worse and made absolutely no effort to resolve the situation. There was also no help whatsoever when picking up the food, even though it wasn't busy. Everyone was just standing around staring. Bad service and poor communication. Not recommended.

The worst burger I've ever seen. They print receipts offering a free Whopper if you fill out a 5-minute form. We did it, and it turns out it doesn't apply to that particular burger. Honestly, that burger is a joke. Burger King should maintain some professionalism and not print offers they're not going to honor. There's nothing more hypocritical than a restaurant like that. Plus, the menu only had six items.

It was difficult to reach without train ticket as it is located on platform 2. The food was fresh but ketchup unlike other places in the world was on payment. Thanks they dont charge for eating in. It was not even possible to replace my meal drink with shake of choice i.e., Oreo shake. It was crowded as most of the customers were travellers who will mostly visit once and often dont get back to eat here...

I picked up a few things, but they didn't put my burger in it. I found out too late and I'm really bummed about it. Please check if everything is in it next time.

Bad burger king. Very very slow service. Not fast food but slow food. Burger king app does not work here so full prices. No value for money. Avoid this burger king very bad.

Automatic machine doesnt work .. asking for a veggie burger, said 3 times was the vegie version, wanted 10mins to get meat. Just saw it when in the train.. my money gone, a burger to the trash

The food was fine, but it took 30 minutes to place the order. We tried to place an order every time, but every time we pressed checkout, it gave an error message saying that one of our items was no longer available. Then everything was removed, so we had to do it all over again. I chose a new menu 6 times, and apparently that was unavailable 6 times as well. Very poor and unprofessional. On top of that, they didn't give me a straw with my drink, so I spilled a large part of it on my sweater. Thanks a lot!

As people say, it's only accessible through platform number one, after passing through the gates with a valid ticket. For that reason, since we only have passengers getting on or off, there are less security concerns than other branches

The worst Burger King I've ever been to. And I've been to many across Europe. The food isn't cooked, the extras you order aren't added, and the staff is incredibly rude. They don't seem to follow Burger King's guidelines.

Great crispy chicken burger! Came before my eurostar train and was served pretty quickly. Only problem being that you have to have a train ticket (not eurostar) to enter as it is near platform 2. If you want to enter, you can ask a staff member and they will give you a ticket to get through.

If you need to take Eurostar, the ticket can't get in the #5 platform.

One of the best Burger King restaurants I've ever visited at a train station! The chicken burger was better than I'm used to from Burger King in other countries. A fantastic interior and friendly staff made the visit perfect! Great value for money. I'll come back to Amsterdam just for this Burger King!

Staff stares at you, and many stand idle behind the counter. The food served was much worse than usual.

Places closes at 11:30pm. We were there at 10:30pm and they kicked us out from the sitting area because they were cleaning, all other sitting areas were already closed.

Made an order and ask a glass of water to take medicine. They refused.

It's what you expect from a Burger King

Most of the time busy but understand because of location but really rapid teams specially a kind Iranian girl who works there manage properly!

Overall, my experience was terrible. I had a coupon, but the restaurant manager or staff working today (25 October 2025, around 12:35 noon) told me it couldn’t be used and insisted I had to pay the full price. The woman manager, wearing a yellow and black shirt, was tall and spoke with an arrogant attitude. It’s such disappointing to see someone like this representing the Burger King brand. Even one star on Google is too generous. I didn’t dine in, and I definitely do not recommend this place.

Friendly staff Delicious food at Central Station

The food was below par for the price. I usually like Burger King milkshakes, but this one was very thick and lacked flavor. The restaurant wasn't cleaned or tidied up, so if guests didn't clean up after themselves, it just sat there. Trash cans were overflowing. Service was quick, though.

Ordered from here this afternoon after work. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was good, the service was fast, and the food was delicious for the road. If I had to compare this to McDonald's in terms of speed, Burger King is definitely faster. I got my sundae and milkshake within a minute. McDonald's takes 20 minutes for that. 5 stars.

The staff takes their time with the order and when I ordered it on the spot, I got it to go. Moreover, everything was cold. I do not recommend it and overall I love Burger King.

The restaurant is clean, and the service is fast. But... I got the wrong nuggets! I marked the regular ones, but the cheese ones were jalapeño. Too bad!

Worst experience ever. They closed the sitting room 30 minutes before the hour, the cooks openly mocked the customers and even worse were disrespectful and enterprising with the young girls who were in the restaurant, and all this, under the eyes of their manager. The state of the room in terms of cleanliness was deplorable. I don't even understand how Burger King or the franchisee accepts this situation, apparently given the previous comments, it's a habit in this restaurant.

Avoid, disrespectful staff who make fun of customers. The staff closed access to the seats more than half an hour before closing time. They kicked us out even though we were seated. A young man in the kitchen was pointing at us and laughing. Shameful!!!

I placed an order at the payment terminals today. I paid by card, and then I received an error message from the terminal. So I didn't receive a receipt or even know if the order had been processed. However, the money had been debited from my account. So I went to the counter to report it, only to be met by an unpleasant woman and man who "couldn't do anything about it" because they thought it might be an older order and accused me of trying to get free food. Not recommended, and if you do come here, pay in cash!

Its fast food nothing more and not very clean

Was really surprised by how good the service was, the level of care put into the food (it looked exactly as advertised) and how quickly and well done every order was.

I was rushing to catch a train, with only about 5 minutes to spare. I was skeptical because the one I had from Burger King Paris was horrible, but in that short time, they managed to prepare my order & it turned out to be one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had. The staff on shift around 17:30 deserve praise!

In the station, not too much table to seat. Most of tables are dirty. Not working personel as usual in burger king. But taste is good.

Never have I faced such racism in my life. There was a few Afghan and middle eastern looking women who made racist remarks towards me. Absolute disgusting behaviour. Stood in line yet they all stood around talking and laughing until two other ladies who seem to come from the same background as them came along, then they proceeded to take their orders. And when I confronted them their answer was that they couldn't see me. I guess being brown skin makes me invisible. This happened on the 20th of February 2025 by the three women who are in shift for the night around 22:00. Do better! If you want to feel high and mighty, I don't think working at Burger King suits that behaviour. I hope they are dealt with, else I shall take matters into my own hands and post this on all social media platforms.

MOST RUDE AND ARROGANT STAFF I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE OF DEALING WITH!!!! Specifically state I don’t have a euro account for the refund on the cup, THE WOMEN BEHIND THE COUNTER WILL INSIST THATS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE REFUND. After much debate, over 1 euro, she can refund it through the card machine. She was just too lazy to do her job. It took a matter of seconds. Instead, she will argue with me infront of everyone in the restaurant!!!!! Have the audacity to charge you to wash your hands and take a leak after a meal! It is pure corporate money hogging evil! Have the humane decency to allow your paying patrons to make use of the ablution facilities! Jesus Christ, man!

Terrible service, the printer on the ordering machine never works and when we go to pick up the order, they think (have doubts) that the order is not yours. I'm not stealing, I just want my snack. Terrible professionalism.

The food was fast and decent (at least for fast food - well made burgers, hot chips). However the venue was really lacking - only 1 out of 8 self-order kiosks were working and they didn't have ice! It's small, with limited seating (though most people get takeaway), and somewhat noisy.

Ordered a cheese whopper with a milkshake which cost more than a meal (11.90 and 0.10 sub). A meal costs 9.95 + 0.95 extra for a milkshake. The milkshake was undrinkable with the straw provided and a spoon was not included. The receipt also stated that I received 188 💶 back while it was 8 euros and paid with 20 euros. I made a joke about this that was not responded to, well it was almost closing time.

Too dirty (lots of rubbish on the floor, dirty tables), too few and often cramped seating areas. Food was ok, could have been a little warmer, location is good but somewhat difficult to find. Previous place in Central was much better.

While the food was decent, the service was appalling. My daughter asked me a quick question about the burgers, and before I could even answer, the server rushed me with zero patience or a smile. They forgot one of the burgers, and when I asked about it, I was met with a rude response. On top of that, charging 80 cents just for ketchup is outrageous. Overall, a very disappointing experience

Worst fast food restaurant I’ve ever been to! We decided to order on the machines (2 plain Big King’s, since we can’t eat cheese and prefer our burgers that way). First, the machine didn’t print the receipt, and wouldn’t send it over email (so we had no proof of what we ordered). Secondly, when we finally got our orders, we realised that they had given us 2 normal burgers (with every single ingredient). When we politely asked the manager (M. Khalum, on the 4th of September 2024, at around 15:30h), she claimed that what they received 2 full burgers), even though I triple checked everything (I am 100% sure everything said “no cheese”, “no lettuce”, etc etc…).Not only did she not redo our burgers, she wouldn’t give us our money back, and when I asked her why, she implied that it’s better that I lose my money than she loses the company’s money. She was extremely unpleasant and rude, asking “Why didn’t we go to the cashier instead?” as if I wasn’t competent to make a simple order. I could tell the rest of her team was uncomfortable with her lack of respect, empathy, and lack of will to do a good job. Burger King needs to start checking the people they hire. It made me sad, not because I pretty much spent 20€ for nothing, but because the costumer service lack humanity.

Waiting for more than 10 minutes for one burger. Employees so slow that I couldn't ask for my money back either. So I ended up paying 7 euros for something I didn't get, so I could catch a train.

This Burger King at Amsterdam Central Station is located on track 1. I have been there regularly. For more than an hour before closing time, you cannot sit in a part inside, then it is closed... but the receipt that has to come out of the machine is replaced once a month, I think. Nowadays I always have my phone in hand to take a photo of my order number. Especially when it's busy, you can simply forget which number you already had. It is poorly laid out, people who eat alone take up an entire space where 4 people can easily sit, crappy decor if you ask me... there are a few people sitting there, occupying the entire area... the interior is also such that you are not with anyone sits down, especially with the 4-seater. The food is ready quickly, all the times I've been there, I've never had to wait very long. There are sockets at the benches against the wall, if you want to pick up your phone you can do so here, provided you have bought something of course! There is no toilet at this Burger King on track 1, there are two places where this is possible for a fee. They have never heard of table service either. If you want to eat on location or take it away... you always have to pick up your food.

Our order included 2 large portions of twister fries, between other things. After waiting quite some time for the other, we received one medium portion (both package and quantity) of fries and one large one. We addressed this with the staff, because we paid for two large ones and Anouar, the person who packed the order, told us, with the worst attitude I ever encountered, that the portions are identical and that we should find a scale on our own and measure the content. When I insisted that it's really not fair and he can't tell me that a medium portion is a large one, he said "I don't know what you don't understand. Leave and go find a scale". I asked for his name and left, but first thing I did when I arrived home was scaling the fries: one portion is 161g, one is 100g. Of course they were not the same. It's not a matter of money, but of principle. @BurgerKing, you should employ people who at least have the decency to admit when they are wrong, and not rude people, with 0 customer service skills. I will never again come back, out of principle.

Aight. Burgers and food were bussin but the service was all but good. We lost about a whole bag of food and had to battle in an epic legendary unforgettable clash of Titans match against these people to get our food right. My friend also had flies (or something like that) in his face whilst eating so not a recommendation for anyone wanting to enjoy their meal. PS. We never got our ketchup package (-3 stars)
