McDonald's in Burgwallen-Nieuwe Zijde

McDonald's located near Dam Square, is not very spacious but has some tables and chairs available for eating. You order through the totems, the waiting times are normal, I appreciated that my food was made at the moment, the prices were lower than the mc in Italy and the sauces were also much larger. Only the cost of water was excessive, for the rest I was satisfied.

Worst chicken burger paty was dry old and hard. The indian workers were very unhygienic dirty uniforms, not cleaning tables or floor. Fries were cold and dry.

Ordered food, wrong burger bun. After we had eaten, the doors would no longer open, we were stuck in the Mac for an hour and a half, no fire brigade came or anything like that, but an employee who tinkered with the wires with a screwdriver until they suddenly opened again. No mention or anything. Couldn't communicate with the employees. No compensation or anything either. When the doors opened again it was like “sorry for the inconvenience” and that was it…. Very bad service.

the macflurry was on the table and a friend was sitting next to it and it was just taken away while it was still completely full and I won't get my money back

Null ! Bland food, not much choice, forgetting to order, dirty restaurant, management staff wandering around and the man at the counter from November 5 at noon is very unpleasant and what's more there are no toilets! Ah if you have to go to another restaurant and pay 50 cents. Go eat elsewhere

They actually gave me food poisoning. Apart from that, the staff is extremely rude, even the management. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place, there are many other places to choose from in this street.

The food was stone cold, bacon was not cooked properly

The food was good, but the restaurant was very dirty, and the staff was very rude. When I asked a staff member named Ali (he was without official uniform) about the cleanliness, he rudely responded that they didn’t have extra workers to clean.

It's just fast food! No toilet and no space for a stroller. There is actually almost no service; orders and payments are made by machine. Food is put out or the number is called out and that's it.

The service girl was quite rude and pissed off when I asked her if she had a tray to carry the food...she replied annoyed, quite a lot, that after 7pm they don't give out trays...almost as if she wanted to jump on me 😅 all she had to do was tell me calmly and I would have learned the news anyway and made do 💪🏻

I had ordered 2 big mac menus, when my number came on the screen (which was very late, I was number 73 and in the meantime number 80 already came on the screen, which I thought was strange) and I walked to the front, I only got a coke… a lady suddenly came next to me and said she had the wrong order, which turned out to be mine. The employee gave it to me, but I indicated that I did not think this was proper because someone else had already opened it and it also took a long time. He then made new fries for me, but in the meantime the Big Mac burgers had already become cold... I had to show my receipt, so I have no idea what went wrong that someone had received my order. Staff was nice.

Bad service. The person who serves looks at young women in an exaggerated way to the point of disgust. They charge you for all the sauces.

The food was good and fresh . The service was great and the store was clean . It was very busy as usual so we had to wait until some tables were available. No Public facilities ( wc or washing hands area )

Quiet and clean place, they don't accept offers from the app, I had to pay the full price for everything.

Imagine: you are going to sit down after placing your order… Then, overcome by a pressing need, you discover that there are NO toilets and that you have to go to another McDonald’s… What to do, your order is almost ready but your bladder is begging you 💦 Well, you run to this other Mc Do, not easy to find in a crowded city 🫤… And, when you get there, Lady Pipi asks you for 50 cents! 😳 (she finally gave up). What an indignity (copyright NS)! What's next? Will you have to bring your own chair? 😵

Extremely slow, worst McDonalds experience

I would give them zero if I could! I asked them to clean their table please and they told me that they don't clean tables because it was not part of their duties??? They saw my upset face and gave me napkins to work for them! Ultimately I want to understand that they charge for the bathroom and the glass... But don't they clean the restaurant where they work either? really sad

That is one of the options that you have if you are a tourist and you want to eat late but it was a Really bad experience! I order a chicken hamburguer and it was raw inside, so i went to the desk in order to let them know and asked for another one more roasted. They treat me like a stone and they even don’t heard me. The manager said literally: take another one and shut up. It didn’t make sense, it was also raw, so i dind’t eat it and i paid for it. So i really dind’t recomendedy this place, go 5 min away and find the fries, there are so kind people and on list you can eat the food.

Came here to try out the Dutch menu - McKroket and shaker fries with sauce. Both were decent and about what I expected. Store gets a lot of foot traffic due to its location so is generally busy but I didn't have an issue finding a place to sit early in the day. No restroom facilities available, and store occasionally felt a bit dirty due to the volume of people dining and leaving little bits behind.

Very frustrating visit to McDonald's on King's Day. It was extremely busy and although we ordered via one of those modern ordering stations, we did not receive a receipt and no employee seemed to want to help us. After waiting an hour and a half, still without food, even though we had already paid. What a bad organization and totally worthless service! We ended up leaving hungry and frustrated. Waste of money and time.

McDonald's restaurant chain on a tourist street in Amsterdam. The place is small, in the evening it is better to take away food, because there are not always places (especially during the tourist season). There are screens for self-ordering and payment. Orders are issued quite quickly.

Maccas with no bathroom, salad hella dry and not fresh

There is not enough space in the restaurant, the door is open all the time and therefore it is cold in the restaurant. The restaurant is not particularly clean - the tables are dirty, etc.The food - what we ordered - did not match its ingredients.

Very small McDonald's with no vegan options! We got no receipt out of the machine after ordering. Thankfully it wasn't full and we just ordered a McFlurry which was ready within a few moments.

Absolutely incapable of accustoming to all customers. 2:35 and no capability of dealing with the stress of the rush of multiple orders. Completely rude treatment, never mind next time after I finish my 10 hour bar shift, I’ll go to another branch. Though these days I see no staff member that is capable of dealing with the rush of customers after 1am, just treats everybody completely disrespectfully and rudely because you can’t cope with the rush huh? Bring back the old management. These lot can’t hack it.

That is one of the options you have if you are a tourist and want to eat late but it was a really bad experience! I ordered a chicken burger and it was raw inside, so I went up to the counter to let them know and ordered another one that was more grilled. They treated me terribly and didn't even listen to me. The manager literally said: have another one and shut up. It didn't make sense, plus it was raw anyway, so I couldn't eat it. I understand that they need to be quick with services because they have a lot of people, but I think my request to stop 2 more minutes to make the meat was reasonable.

Smaller McDonalds with a limited menu and seating, but was not an issue. Food was made quickly, and collected my order. There is a larger McDonalds with 200+ seating and paid restrooms close by if you're looking to sit down. For some reason, I was given McDonalds Gift wrapping paper with my meal! Unsure if this was part of some promotion for it being close to Christmas, but it was a welcome surprise! Would like to know, I was a visitor to Amsterdam!

Very limited options for the burger meals. Most of the signature Meals not available. Coke they served to me wasn’t having any carbon inside and no ice was there also. Fries were not crispy at all. Only thing I like was chicken nuggets were so fresh and crispy.

De McKroket is hier wel € 0,50 duurder dan bij andere filialen. De smaak is uiteraard hetzelfde.

Ons kleinkind had wat laten vallen zonder er iets van gegeten te kunnen hebben, zonder enig probleem hebben we nieuw eten gekregen voor heb. Super service noem ik dat. Bedankt nogmaals.

Too small for the location and area. The seats are very limited. During our visit, on sunday, we waited too long in our opinion for an happy meal and a medium wrap menu. Most of the staff was discussing with a customer for a sauce and the routine service was affected by this accident

Una ventaja es que cierran muy tarde

Ik vroeg de mevrouw achter de balie om hulp 2 x en ze kijkt me aan en wuift me weg, vervolgens sta ik er nog een kwartier en ze geeft me geen aandacht. Totaal niet klantvriendelijk, ook als je niet bij de paal wil bestellen maar gewoon aan de balie staat er helemaal niemand, ze weten niet eens hoe de computers werken.

Erg klein, geen goede plek voor Mc Donald meer een afhaal service voor een snelle snack niet passend voor een groot concern als Mc Donald

Service was great and food was amazing. First European mcdonald's that i have been to and i am not disappointed. Clean and tidy despite it being busy. The food was great and served fairly quickly. The only downside was it didnt have toilet facilities. But you were welcome to use the ones in their stor around the corner.. overall a great experience!
