It’s a very small McDonalds in a very populated area. If you require receipts to pickup the meal, you should make sure the receipt printers on your kiosks are working and have the ones that are not working to not accept orders. It would also be nice if the manager was not rude.

The food was hot. That is quite remarkable these days. The staff is getting smaller and smaller. Damrak is very busy, so the atmosphere is a bit less vibrant as well.

I had a very disappointing experience. I had to wait a long time, and the staff even shouted at me. On top of that, I was given a coffee cup without a lid. I definitely do not recommend this place. The service is at a very low level. It’s a real shame that a tourist city like this allows such poor service.

It’s a very dirty place. Then it was a situation when the machine for milkshakes worked bad and instead of a milkshake I got a hard piece of smth. When I tried to explain to the manager, he was listening to me, but the woman at the cassa started shouting at me saying that I have problems with my mind!!!! Being next to me the manager tried to calm her down. And the remade milkshake was normal… It’s not the first time of such problems and bad treatment in this McDonald’s during the shifts of this precise manager. This time I visited it 25.06.2026 at 19:20, my order was 3173.

They employees ripped my receipt on purpose. What is this?? As a customer I have a right to keep my receipt. I need it for my expenses claim. I have also been told I can not get a new receipt. We were fasting and ordered a meal of chicken wings and crispy chicken burgers. It was delicious and filling. The meal for 3 people cost us 45 euros with ice-cold cola.

By far the dirtiest and worst McDonald's I've visited in 30 years. If the health department came, it would be shut down immediately! I politely asked if someone could clean our table, and someone behind the cash register threw napkins at me, which fell on the floor! It's hard to put into words, but McDonald's, that's embarrassing!!!

All the food I ordered was just cold; I got new food and that was just lukewarm too. I strongly advise against this McDonald’s. You do get new food, but that is also just cold or lukewarm. Very bad service.

We came from Spain. We didn't know where to eat, and we chose this place. The service was super fast, and the staff were really friendly. The food was very good, and the coffee was excellent. The atmosphere was great, with the music 🔥. The fries were delicious, and the burgers too. The strawberry and banana drink was amazing. The cookie was bigger than we expected, and it was delicious. I recommend this place because, besides the great atmosphere, the food is really good and high quality.

I ordered a 6 euro combo meal with two burgers. The burgers were basically just a bunch of beef patties smeared with tomato sauce and cucumber cheese. Not good, not bad either. The self-service ordering machine was broken. After ordering and paying with my card, no receipt was printed. There was no order number; I had to guess to get my food. McDonald's in Hong Kong is better and more affordable. What I can't understand is why they charge extra for tomato sauce or other sauces. I can't understand why this kind of junk food is worth 6 euros.

I went to eat around 12 at night. It was filthy and filthy. A terrible place that does not befit the McDonald's brand. The staff is indifferent and rude. If possible, avoid even going there.

We were very tired from visiting Amsterdam, and sat down to eat. We had to order on consoles, only two men working in the kitchen. No time to answer questions. When we wanted to go to the toilet, there was not any. That is forbidden by law for such an establishment!! We were directed to Mc Donalds in the Nieuwstraat, and there we had to pay. The foreign cleaner said everybody had to pay 1,5 Euro for the toilet. As I protested that is is against the law, the foreigner working there admitted us without us having to pay. Mc Donald's is a tourist trap, and a scam. To be avoided! It seems that you can avoid having to offer a toilet to your customers just by asking an exaggerated amount of money!

This was my first time eating McDonald's in the Netherlands. The staff knew I didn't speak Dutch, and they ordered a coffee and a burger based on the picture I provided. It was a very heartwarming experience.

Visited two nights in a row and had issues both times. First night, I wanted to dine in, but was told no trays are given out in the evening, only a paper bag — awkward and messy for dine-in. Second night, I tried to return a reusable cup to get my €1 deposit back, but they refused because I hadn’t bought it that same evening. I explained another McDonald’s told me returns are accepted at any location since you ordered to-go, but the manager insisted it’s their policy to prevent “homeless people cashing in cups.” He said as a private franchise, they can make their own rules. Not only was the reasoning off-putting, but the attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, I dropped it and left since it is only one euro but at the same time is only one euro why did they feel the need to fight me on this. I read other reviews that report similar issues here — poor service, dine-in orders in bags, and confusion around cup deposits. Policies feel made up on the spot. Would not recommend McDonalds in Amsterdam.

A rather small dirty McDonald's. The terminals work. The food is prepared quickly. However, they rarely clean it, the tables and the floor are dirty. The hall is very small and alone. The sauce is served in a bag, not very convenient, but a whole 35 ml! However, it was still not enough for a large potato. Music plays, no sockets. The main advantage is that it works around the clock!!!

The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Small and dirty, with a very limited menu. They had four or fewer items to choose from. Ice cream was only available in one, nothing like the rest of McDonald's. The tables were very dirty, and no one was cleaning. I don't recommend it.
