There are a lot of thief roaming around and also come inside and steal your stuff. The staff don’t do anything about it at all. They let thief come inside, take out food from the trash can and also let them steal people’s stuff. It should have been maintained better but because this is near Amsterdam central, a lot of pick pockets happen here. I lost my bag here.

Dilapidated and dirty, terrible. There's nothing less than one star.

The standard McDonald's, combined with Amsterdam's magical atmosphere, has resulted in a lovely place. It's inexpensive and delicious compared to other places in the area. I liked it.

The way the owners treat their staff/team is discusting and inhumane. There is zero air ventilation nor proper airco in here. Fix your ventilation. You have employees working hard in a busy and overheated counter. As a 180billion dollar net worth of a company and as a franchisee you make a large revenue in the city of Amsterdam. You can and must fix the insanely hot air situation properly. I have never been in a McDonalds where this has been so bad. Also were customers complaining of overheated space myself included when I picked up my McNuggets.

The business, their own shop, is a disgrace; the staff are disrespectful and the branch is extremely dirty. Definitely stay away.

Only big Mach or cheese burgers

Very dirty, the trash cans were full of trash, the floor was dirty, we had to clean out table ourselves ! Not so welcoming service, and our food was not well prepared.

Fast food, lots of staff inside but they're just laughing and standing around doing nothing and not cleaning tables, the heating is too high.

Fire that Indian woman, she's so stingy. I order a McFlurry and only get a tiny bit of caramel sauce. This isn't the first time she's done this.

Near shopping and Central Station, this McDonald’s gets busy. Order from a tablet and wait for your food. On a Saturday evening, it took about 10 minutes to get two meals.

The food was expensive and bad. The chips tasted alright but the texture was awful. My mcspicy chicken was missing its chicken flavour. At least the ice cream machine was working. It also tasted like weed thanks to the constant smoking outside. The staff there were nice though, but some guy came in blasting loud music hurting my ears but that wasn't really their fault is it? Definitely ruined the experience though.

Compared to Portugal, the space is smaller, but the service is fast and the takeaway is very efficient, with no product issues.

By McDonald's standards this is really bad. When I place an order it should be ready within 1 minute. My mine reached me 30 min. And the lady gave me my order rushed. My order wasn't complete until I pointed out my two fries were missing! Seriously. Check your food before you leave they think you're a drunk tourist so they can scam out of you.

We paid €27 with our card, but did not receive a receipt. We also did not know what the order number was, because the kiosk froze. We went to the cashier, explained the situation, and showed on our phone that we had actually paid. We told them what we had ordered: two Big Macs, two sets of nuggets, and a portion of fries. The staff looked at us and said that such an order was impossible. Consequently, we did not receive our order at all. In addition, we were treated very unfriendly. It seemed as if the staff did not take us seriously and actually did not want to help us. We tried to calmly explain what had happened, but received hardly any help. In the end, we paid €27 but received no food at all and had to leave without our order. This is truly unacceptable. Very poor service and a very disappointing experience. I hope management looks into this seriously.

They state they close at 6am was here 5:40am and this rude guy just shut the doors in my face and when I told him they close at 6 he simply said “we don’t close at 6” let’s see if corporate likes them denying service to customers.

Customer service is DISGUSTING, one particular lady is AWFUL ,zero customer service alongside her manager just as worse, so bad I got a refund and cancelled my order...talking about us in her language and when I told her I understood she gave a rude comment back, ABSOLUTELY AWFUL....definitely taking it further!!!! She spoke to my partner horrible i said nothing, then started on me , everyone's allowed bad days but there's a time and place....

I don't know why I go to these places. I open the burger and everything is ridiculous: the meat, the pickle, the tomato... but hey! The lettuce is like it's for a wedding. The drink is all ice, and the fries... they're more like salt and chips.

First off, it feels like a McDonald's branch located in an alley. There is no restroom inside, and since there is no ventilation, the smell inside is terrible. They also keep the temperature extremely hot, even in the middle of summer. Although they say it is takeout only, everyone eats inside, and the quality of the menu items is very poor. It feels like they just heat up pre-made food. It is also very inconvenient that they give you a paper cup for the cola.

There was no choice, most of what I wanted was not available.

A real nightmare. Don't waste your time or money! My order was given to someone else by the manager. I repeat, I'm talking about THE MANAGER! I went to the counter to explain that the number displayed as "made and sent" was mine, but that I hadn't received my order. I explained this in English, as my Dutch is quite limited. He angrily snatched my receipt from me (even though I had it in my hand!). I tried to talk to him, but he continued speaking in Dutch before storming out, still clutching my receipt. I was left waiting like an idiot, my money taken, with nothing to eat. An employee came and tried to remake my order. Once it was ready, I ate, but it was inedible. I'd never had a bad experience at McDonald's in Belgium nor France, where the food was always good. But here in Amsterdam? It was awful. In addition to the bad experience, it's overpriced and almost everything is sold out. Don’t go there, you won’t enjoy it.

Ordered fish happy meal with toy, got fish with ketchup instead of tater sauce and book instead of toy! Customer service horrible. They asked for my receipt and didn't even look at it after asking. McDonald's should dis franchise this location!

1 is the least I can give, they gave me meat while I ordered a vegetarian meal. I’m sick and crying so theres that. When I went to the counter to ask why I got meat they first blamed me because they said I ordered the wrong thing. Only when I said I didnt they looked up my order and gave me a new burger. Not even did i get my money back. I would give them negative stars if i was able to. It’s such an easy job and they managed to mess such a simple mistake up. I puked in an alley. Very unprofessional. While I am complaining I’d like to say that the employees were not nice at all before all of this happened. Very unprofessional and I would like to be compensated more than whatever an extra burger would do. Do they really think I’d want to have another burger after they made me sick. The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The menu is not complete, it was terribly hot inside, even though the temperature outside was +24 degrees. And the biggest thing is that there is NO toilet!!! The staff is friendly and the order is prepared quickly, although very clean. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Bad experience. It was very hot and stuffy inside. For food, I ordered a McFlurry and a peach iced tea, but I received a half-empty ice cream and a sparkling iced tea instead. I won't be back. I do not recommend this establishment.

Compared to what we have in Spain, this is a shame. The only good thing is that the prices are low, but they're in line with the tiny burgers. The service is just okay, but decent.

Oh, no, that's inhuman working conditions for staff there. As a customer, after 7 minutes there I was dying. Brutal heat. I don't know how workers feel then. Super unreapectful and must be punished.

I don't like McDonald's Termini branch. The cappuccino is always bad, lacking foam and cold, the waitresses aren't friendly, and the restrooms are unclean.

McDonald’s Amsterdam Centraal was a super convenient stop during our walk. Quick service, hot snacks and coffee, and a comfortable environment to rest a bit from the cold before continuing to explore the city. It was exactly that kind of simple, but very welcome, break that renews energy for the rest of the day.

I had a really disappointing experience at this McDonald’s. The place was absolutely packed, and we had to wait forever just to get our food. On top of that, the crew seemed completely overwhelmed and unorganized. Orders were getting mixed up everywhere, customers were standing around confused, and the whole situation felt like total chaos. It honestly looked like nobody knew what they were doing behind the counter. I understand rush hours happen, but this was on another level. Definitely one of the worst fast food experiences I’ve had in a long time, the food was alright.

Was it a worthless place, a regular McDonald's, or some shady, unlicensed establishment? I don't know what was in the oil or the meat, but we ate there and it upset my stomach and ruined my day. I don't recommend it.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service at this location. I had purchased a drink and was taking a short rest when a staff member repeatedly bothered me, while completely ignoring other individuals who were occupying seats without ordering anything. What was even more shocking was the staff member's behavior while cleaning my table. Instead of using a cloth, they used a broom to sweep trash right across the table while I was still sitting there. This is not only extremely rude but also completely unhygienic and unacceptable. I understand that the restaurant needs to manage its space, but there is no excuse for such hostile and unprofessional conduct. I felt targeted and disrespected. I would advise customers to avoid this location if they expect basic courtesy.

idk if it's because it was a rush but they would put the numbers of orders into finished section of the screen and then only give you food couple of minutes after also there's no toilet there the only good thing there is the passion fruit cola I got there

I worked at McDonald’s for four years in the United States and it was really cool seeing how McDonald’s is in the Netherlands. I came last year (In 2025) and got some pretty cool Dutch fried balls (I apologize I don’t know the name). However, I came back this year and they are gone. This year I tried the Italian sandwich with the fries and the special sauce that they have. I think that the sauce is more worth it than the spice packet! You should also try the passionfruit Coca-Cola. It is really really good.
