A very good McDonald's but much more expensive than in France and the orders on the terminals are less practical and less well explained.

I ordered a Mc crispy and I noticed a got a spicy one so I asked if I could get another one. They then gave me a normal one but it had salad and sauce which I took off on the other order too. Then someone behind the counter a women with a blonde short wig decided to scream at me that the mc crispy I ordered wasn’t spicy and she gave it back.. Absolute worst service ever.

The staff is rude while the environment is dirty. Not healthy to eat here with all the flies going around. No restroom (only for staff). No free ketchup. Avoid at all cost. I have travelled globally this macdonald is in the bottom 5% in terms of performance.

Because I wanted to use the toilet, I had to order food. I ordered dinner and finally climbed to the 3rd floor. A black female said that we had to pay before we could use the toilet, so we took the menu and asked the guy at the counter if we could use the toilet. We climbed up again and the black guy insisted that everyone had to pay. The toilet attitude was very bad, and he even asked us which employee said that?! The conclusion is that even if you want to use the toilet, you don’t think you should come to this McDonald’s!

I spend 40 on food and then there's an annoying lady playing police upstairs by the toilets....

Great to eat with a homeless person sleeping inside, the staff was informed and did nothing, they went to the table where he was, cleaned it and acted as if nothing had happened, there were people eating on the stairs because there was no room to eat.

We bought food and simply wanted to use the restroom, but a very rude staff member pulled us away and refused to let us in, even though the McDonald’s was supposed to stay open for another five hours.

The food was alright. When I ordered the chicken salad, they forgot to handover the chicken strips from the kitchen. Also, be aware that the bathroom is paid.

This restaurant is located in the very center of Amsterdam. Very convenient to have a snack, fast service, good quality of food. The question arises when visiting a paid toilet... there are many places, you can take a short break before the next shopping run))

After spending 40 euros on food, forcing you to pay to use the restroom seems pathetic. After eating at Page for a coffee, I was made to wait for 10 minutes because they accidentally gave another customer their coffee and then gave me mine without even realizing their mistake.

You have to pay for the toilet, but the lady kept it poorly clean and there was no toilet paper, then you get an annoying attitude when you say that you want your money back (it clearly says on the sign: money back if you are not satisfied).

What can you say, McDonald's is McDonald's no matter where you are in the world! Couldn't find a reasonably priced breakfast on the last day of our holiday, so we took the easy option and got McDonald's! The food was fine, what you'd expect!

Yummy!!! Served quickly in a busy location. It's neat and clean here. Menu was fresh and tasty. In addition to the ground floor, you can also sit on the 1st and 2nd floors. Easy to reach.

The coffee was good... The table was dirty... I'm not even talking about the floor 🤢 the ice creams are expensive and to top it off you pay €0.10. Tax because you eat from plastic.... Avoid!!! 😒

The chaos is awful. Dirt, filth everywhere. The trash cans are not emptied. The guest cannot throw away the waste. Very expensive place. For that price, they could at least clean it. The service is terrible, they give you something other than what you ask for.

Didn't get a receipt, wrong food because it was no longer there. Every other order wrong, lots of chaos.

I honestly gave it that score, because it wasn't even a 1! First: They don't have gluten-free options there like almost all Mac Donald's. I had to eat there, because we couldn't find anything gluten-free in Amsterdam. What little there was was worth a fortune. Second: the taste of the burgers and fries were inedible. Third: I didn't like the atmosphere and the fact that the place, which had few people, was very dirty.

During the order the machine with the interactive screen broke down, the message was to place the order through another screen. In the end I received two identical orders for which my money was taken. Disgusting service and no customer focus. The manager laughed and said that it was my problem. According to him, he has been working at McDonald's for 10 years. Dear McDonald's team, what is the problem with teaching your managers to communicate with the client respectfully?

When the food is ready the employees has to do a better job by saying the order numbers

They charge you to use the bathroom even if you purchase food. And when you pay to use the bathroom they dont let you use ot to brush your teeth.

Food is ok but its insane having to pay to use the toilets and also the a lady in the restrooms has the worst attitude, she's so rude and invasive. She told me I wasn't allowed to brush my teeth for no reason at all. When I asked why, didn't even answer me just hurried me up to come inside the restroom.

10/31/2023 On the eve of All Saints' Day (popularly known, and due to "Yankee" capitalism, Halloween), a group of friends were in Amsterdam hours before going out to party. The McDonalds in Kalverstaat was the place we chose to do our "pre", and we couldn't have chosen a better place. We went up to the third floor where there was not a soul, neither customers nor staff, so we were able to prepare our drinks without any problem. After 1h-1h30mins, an employee told us that they were going to close that floor and that we had to go down to the first floor where the entrance and counter were. Well, this didn't stop us from making all the "fuss" we wanted, laughter, shouting, bad words, etc... The workers couldn't believe it, they didn't kick us out of the premises, just a few warnings to lower the volume. In short, an experience out of 10, we even tried orange vodka and similar. I gave the food a 1 not because it was bad, but because of its high price compared to that of Spain (the motherland). I hope it serves as a help or example.

Visited here to go to the toilet, so while I climbed a couple of floors my wife ordered food. Just a couple of burgers but I don't like to use the toilet somewhere without contributing. I should not have bothered, and I should have read the reviews. You are charged €0.50 to go to the toilet whether you buy something or not. Very poor but not surprising for McDonald's. They have a toilet attendant asking for cash although thankfully they accept card since by this point I'd spent all my euros.

The food is not as good as in America, they don't have healthy juice or meat, they lemonade has a lot of sugar and you have to pay to use the toilet.

Night visit, it is an alternative considering the cost of hamburgers from mobile restaurants in tourist areas, the service is fast and efficient. After a certain time at night they close access to the tables on the first floor, so you may have to share a table or the bar.

Very dirty environment without knowing how to work in the restaurant world. Paid bathrooms even if you consume at the table and are otherwise dirty beyond belief. In the kitchen staff without uniforms and without hats with people cooking in jackets.

There are few seats downstairs, but there is plenty of space upstairs. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an elevator. The McDonald's was not very clean, ordering via the order pole was easy and the food was served quickly.

If you want to have lunch at McDonald's, there are enough in Amsterdam to avoid this one! The staff doesn't even pay you any attention, no hello, no smile, no consideration.. Same in the room, a customer spilled his milkshake under the next table, no one picked it up, although quickly identified by the staff, I saw the customers sit down one after the other at this table without this bothering any employee who has had the opportunity to clean many times, not to mention the disgusting tables, the staff comes to pick up the trays, sees the dirty tables, but too bad, it will stay like that... so that leaves imagine the worst in the kitchen... to end the past in the toilet, paying of course with a lady who checks that you pay your entrance fee but who doesn't bother to put any paper, and yes, I paid for a paperless toilet! So run away from this one!

Mac Donalds remains the same everywhere, it may not be healthy, but it is always delicious! Although it was extremely busy, we felt like we got our food quickly, our order was correct right away and a seat was also found fairly quickly. Clean restaurant!

There was a fwking mouse running around. Than the server spilled my drink and gave me a wrong one. Also my friend ordered cola and she did not got one unless she complained.

I had a nice meal in Amsterdam. It was busy, which is understandable for such a city with many tourists and visitors. You have to pay for the toilet and there is a woman there. At times the woman is gone and guests and visitors walk through the gate and you can walk to the toilets, most of them do not pay. Overall we had a great meal and later enjoyed it again in Amsterdam.

I've been to this location several times, the service is super slow, you order something to take away, they give you something else, you stand there in front of the cash register for 10-15 minutes and no one comes to you

This is the first restaurant I've encountered in the world that charges you to use the restroom after eating. Especially considering this is McDonald's, it's disgusting.

The business of this McDonald's didn't look very good and there were no people around. The restroom was on the third floor with very steep stairs. They induced people to climb to the third floor, but they were told at the bathroom door that they had to pay. The restaurant service staff on duty on the third floor on the night of September 24th had a very bad attitude. , I saw some people entering the bathroom and she didn’t charge or stop them. I asked her clearly if everyone charges the same, and she said yes, but I don’t know why she treats us differently? Not recommended.

Is it optional or is a “design bug” that mandates at least 1 person to be employed and positioned there permanently while tables are dirty? Is it value added or profitability for the brand? …. Ik heb een hamburgermenu gekocht, maar ik moet nog steeds betalen om naar het toilet te gaan. Bovendien is het toilet op de derde verdieping en de trap is erg steil.
