Burger King in Het Klooster

On the highway, it says open until 10 p.m., and in the parking lot, a large sign says open daily until 8 p.m. We arrive at the door at 7:01 p.m., and an employee closes the door right in front of us... So, don't put those big signs in the parking lot... The only reason we were there just after 7 p.m. was because we had to search for a parking spot because all the trucks were parked in the car spaces. Ridiculous...

Banners are everywhere saying "open daily from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM," only to find out at 1:00 PM that the restaurant is closed. Take those banners down then.

What a terrible place! You have to wait half an hour for your food. And then it gets cold! People were working at a snail's pace.

Very outdated building with unintelligible staff

Little kids wanted a milkshake, but it was gone. There was no toy with the children's menu. It was gone. This was the last time I went here. It's getting worse and worse there. They should close it down.

The food is fine, but the atmosphere is awful. The place is becoming run down. One person is serving, so there's a queue of 6-9 orders.

All that was left was an abandoned, dilapidated building.

I think this building used to house a La Place and is now a Burger King. It's a run-down place with not even a restroom. The food is fine, but that's about it. They also charged us for paper cups instead of recycled ones...it's still €2. If they do this every day, it's a nice savings.

Delivering the wrong goods. Charging a deposit on paper cups and then making it difficult to refund them. Broken ice cream machine. Dirty women's restrooms. And a nasty old woman serving. Never again.

Beautiful location, I enjoyed sitting outside for a bit. A very beautiful building that definitely deserves to be preserved!

A very bad, huge line. One woman spoke Dutch. The rest of the people didn't speak Dutch. 20 people in a line with one order. The staff was completely disinterested. Many food items were impossible to order. No ice cream or milkshakes. Overall, it was poor.

What a drama. Just close it. It smells like sewage.

As Burger King HQ, I'd be ashamed to keep this location open. During peak hours on a Saturday, there were a total of three people not talking to each other and not even looking to see which order was easy to process. The floor was dirty, and only trays were quickly retrieved, because apparently there weren't enough. So, two individual burgers with one drink would take at least a 27-minute wait! And I don't understand the discount coupon for La Place if it wasn't available here. And now even the only working order kiosk is being closed. It's getting ridiculous. And the front door is locked too, so people can't get out in an emergency.

Good Burger King. The food here is well-prepared. Not something to be taken for granted for a Burger King...

A severely outdated building. Inside, it was incredibly uninviting. From the outside, it looked closed. It wasn't inviting to enter. I also saw several people turn around. The quality was good. Friendliness was nowhere to be found.

Just close the door in the middle of the day...and then you call them and they say, "Sorry, I'm busy."

Lots of trash outside the entrance. The toilets were completely unclean. So I didn't eat there, as that doesn't inspire confidence.

What a musty-smelling building. We were all starving, but because of the smell, we decided to drive on to another King's. This was truly disastrous, as we weren't the only ones there. We arrived at 1 p.m. and there was barely one table occupied.

Get your shit together... The most unreliable Burger King ever. You never know when it's open or closed because they have staffing problems. That's been going on for years now. So change it IMMEDIATELY on Google, then everyone won't be so fed up with you.

I thought it was one of the worst locations for a Burger King. The food tasted really strange compared to other Burger Kings. I waited almost half an hour for my food, and the staff was very curt. I definitely won't be eating here again.

Worst Burger King I have ever seen. The whole station looks run down, empty and straight out of a horror movie. When walking into the Burger King, the first thing you will smell is not fresh fries but mouldy air, dust and filth. Half the place is abandoned or out of order. Only 1 working check out, no employee to take additional orders etc. Do yourself a favour and skip this sad place.

What a place! You drive past it and it says it's open at 11:30. When you arrive, it says 12 o'clock online, which is fine. There wasn't a soul in sight, so I called and the final score was 12:30. And that's not even mentioning the state of the building. What a place!

From the outside, the building looks deserted. (I'd put a large sign in the window that says OPEN.) The food was really good. Good service and friendly people.

Burger King itself is pretty good. But that building has a musty smell in there... It's not pleasant to eat there.

That something like this is allowed to continue operating. It's beyond words. A filthy toilet that you even have to pay for. Coke diluted with lots of water, iced tea, same story. Close the place down as soon as possible. Shame on Dutch fast food chains. Never again.

Not accessible from both sides of the highway, as the highway signs announce. The bridge over the highway is closed.

The air conditioning doesn't work, there's a sewer smell, only one terminal works, the service is incredibly slow, and you can't exchange your cup for cash. The staff doesn't speak Dutch, only English with an Indian accent. DO NOT eat here; drive on to the next stop.

Half the burgers are unavailable. There are no vending machines available to customers, nor is there air conditioning. Only one ordering station works. Furthermore, the staff look half asleep. The outdoor furniture doesn't include an umbrella, so the terrace offers virtually no shade. A disappointment...

In an old building where Alberts Corner used to be, they are now. Clearly falling into disrepair. Much broken and overdue maintenance. Food is reasonable but a bit cold. Only 1 order terminal worked and the 2nd was broken. Oral ordering was difficult (no Dutch), service was otherwise friendly, but sluggish. I won't be going there again anytime soon. All desolate.

You know that joke about Fast-food? No? That's right, there's no food at all... I Is really always closed. Footbridge also boarded up for a very long time.

Bad place, 9/10 times just closed during opening hours. This is the second time I'm standing in front of a closed door. Addition (14-06-2025): Every visit it gets worse. Just ordered a Big King XXL that wasn't warm. When I returned it, the burger was simply heated up in the microwave. Terrible service!

Open too late, no one wants to speak to you or explain that something is broken, disinterested attitude of female employee and dirty even though they have just opened.

There you are...deserted empty...doors locked screens on...but after reading other customers I am glad we didn't eat anything there. What a mess!!

It looks like this place has been abandoned for a while. We crossed over the highway to get here, so very disappointing.

Never eaten such a disgusting Burger King as tonight.. Friend and I went here together, half past seven. Long queue with only 1 screen available. After half an hour finally ordered.. Bacon king burgers were lukewarm/cold and little bacon to be found. Also a piece of tomato on mine. Both a portion of Bacon fries with extra cheese, extra Bacon and onions.. well.. I think we both had a total of 1 large portion in terms of fries, cheese, Bacon and onions.. too bad.. The atmosphere was also gloomy, we were almost looking away at 19:55.

Super slow. This is not fast food, but SLOW FOOD. If you want to eat fast, do NOT go here!!! After waiting 25 minutes, the order was not complete and the loaded fries were really poorly filled. When I said something about this, the woman behind the counter gave me a particularly big mouth and said that I should not complain so much

It stinks of mice here. Half of the menu is not available. (I wanted a grill with fries and a milkshake. They only had fries.....) The food at King is always made by people under high pressure, who barely speak Dutch. The man here at the cash register did his best with the options he was given. I satisfied my hunger and drove on to another restaurant. I will not return here.

So the queue is gradually forming. Employees clearly don't feel like it, and that causes irritation in the queue. No receipt comes out of the cash register, so you don't have your number at hand. If the employee is informed that there is no receipt from the cash register, nothing will be done. People, stay away from here.

Passing through the road, I arrived at 8 p.m. but the restaurant was already closed, which is a bit disappointing for an area supposed to welcome road professionals. Luckily, a McDonald's is right next door and stays open until midnight — a good alternative in case of need.

It smells really bad...the staff clearly don't feel like it and don't speak a word of Dutch. There are no milkshakes or ice creams available... the toilets are super dirty, there was no toilet paper, but you have to pay 70 cents.

Worthless, dirty place, no one speaks Dutch, dirty tables, trash bins overflowing! And they don't understand anything when you ask about the King deals from the TV commercial...then you get a cold kids menu!!!

Upon entering, an unpleasant odor greets you, almost everything we wanted to order was not available, there was only 1 ordering unit available and no other cash register open. Worst BK I have encountered so far. The food that was available was okay and the employee was friendly.

There was hair in the burger which was very clear that it came from the employee. I strongly advise against it, when you come in it is already suffocating. First and last time I come here!!

The dump is closed at 19h00 again. This is a regular occurance. Besides always being filthy, there is the inconvenience of not knowing if they will be open after having driven all the way there. Burger King Head Office should investigate.

I order a sandwich with bacon instead of cheese and I get a sandwich with cheese and no bacon and then they want to say I'm lying, strange people

The restaurant is continuously filthy. The floors are disgusting, and there is always garbage lying on it. The restaurant closes way before the advertised closing time and has even been closed for a whole night. The parking bays for cars are regularly blocked by trucks parking across the bays. Very disappointing.
