I read a lot of bad reviews here, but I've been coming here myself for years. The staff is always top-notch! These people work incredibly hard for very little money. It is always super busy and you can just tell they are understaffed. One lady always keeps the place nice and clean. Behind the counter, they work very efficiently. Unfortunately, many guests who eat here are really disrespectful and dirty. They throw trash on the floor and even spit on it. They really leave a mess behind. I really feel sorry for the staff!

This is already the second time I have received a burnt burger that is inedible and had to be thrown away; a waste of my money, and the waiting time was abnormally long.

Food is old and not tasty, which is not part of the BK standard. Toilets are extremely dirty and require payment. Staff are rude.

Not the most hygienic Burger King I have been to. The staff are also often unfriendly and speak very little. When ordering via the self-service kiosk, a receipt often does not come out. The food is otherwise fine.

On days when I was at school until around 6:00 PM, I often went to Burger King (because it took something like 1.5 hours before I got home), and generally it took longer than expected for the order to be ready, but in return, it was still warm after 54 minutes (in a few cases, it wasn't frozen yet when I got home).

The service is quick and the prices are fairly reasonable and inexpensive; it's nice for a quick meal.

I regularly eat in this burger king as its very convenient for after university classes. The staff are very nice and friendly. Its fairly clean most of the time and the burgers always have the right amount of sauce and ingredients. I definitely recommend this Burger King its one of the best in Rotterdam🫶🏻

Very poor service and unfriendly staff. The closing time on Friday evening is stated as 10:00 PM, but I was turned away at 8:00 PM. Additionally, the hamburger was burnt. Absolutely not recommended.

I picked up food from this branch (Zuidplein) today. Unfortunately, the order was prepared very slowly, and by the time I got home, the food was already on the cold side. The most frustrating part was that I had ordered (and paid for) a 9-pack of Chicken Nuggets, but discovered upon arriving home that there were only 8 in the pack. Sloppy service and poor order checking.

We had a nice meal before we went shopping.

Not worth repeating. I ordered a Whopper and a Smoky Bacon Deluxe here. I couldn't burn my mouth on either of them; they felt like they were just barely fried. I don't think they even hit 30 degrees. Additionally, the burgers were like shoe soles, they were that dry. Only the fries were just about acceptable.

It was the worst burger I've ever eaten. I don't think I'll be able to stand another burger for five years. I tried an extra-long chili cheese burger. It had a really nasty grilled flavor, as if the grill hadn't been cleaned in years. There were also spots all over the meat, like warts. It looked absolutely awful! Of course, I didn't let my child eat it. A waste of money.

Ordered twice via Thuisbezorgd, cancelled both times after waiting half an hour. As it turns out, the store opens later, but is listed as open on Thuisbezorgd. Refund within 5 days.

Fast service, good burgers Only the toilet could work, some days is completely open, other days it eats my 50cent coin and won't open. Overall it's a clean place, and have fast workers. Due the location is busy at most times, but there is always some place to sit

Great, Burger King was quiet when I was there and ordered a simple blondie. The brownie was ready quickly.

It's abnormal to charge people to use the restroom for a restaurant, but at least make sure the restrooms are clean!!! Urine on the seat and floor, along with what I hope was only food caked onto the counter and the restroom itself. The whole room stinks.

It wasn't bad, but you have to create the atmosphere yourself. The soft drink machine was broken? Only cola and iced tea with lots of foam! The post-mix for the other drinks was gone! There were also no ice cubes!

I can't say much about the service because you don't really interact with the people behind the counter anymore. The cheeseburgers were lukewarm, but I did get a new one when I returned them. The decor was a bit plain. It could use more greenery.

We ordered here with thuisbezorgd.nl and they cancelled our order without saying anything because they are too lazy to do their job and they are too lazy to answer the phone properly.

Horrible! I'm in the hospital with my son, and I think I'm ordering something nice for him, and then I wait an hour and a half and end up getting ice-cold food, never to be served again! And then I call, and there's no contact at all because no one answers, so I'll never waste €20 again!

I hereby want to file an official complaint about my recent experience at the Burger King Zuidplein Hoog branch. I WANT YOU TO READ THIS ENTIRELY BECAUSE YOU CAN GET SICK FROM THEIR FOOD. About a week ago, I visited this branch as a customer, and they recognized me because I worked there two and a half years ago. The staff treated me rudely and disrespectfully. I placed and paid for my order, but after waiting 20 minutes, I still hadn't received my food. When I asked where my order was, they said they would check, but nothing happened. Ultimately, I didn't receive my order and I didn't get my money back. I left without eating. I find this very disappointing and unacceptable. I also want to report serious hygiene issues from the time I worked there myself (about two and a half years ago). During my work, I've encountered several concerning situations: • Out-of-date and moldy bread was used. Yet, the manager agreed to serve it to customers. • While cleaning after closing time, I saw a mouse near the frying oil. The mouse had left feces there, which ended up in the oil. • There were also mice near the product storage area, including near an open bag of fries. I consider these matters very serious and jeopardize food safety. Therefore, I consider it important to report this. I kindly request that you take this complaint seriously, investigate it, and inform me accordingly. Furthermore, I expect an appropriate solution for my recent experience as a customer. And I also want to remind you to check if your food is still good before you eat!

The worst BK restaurant I have ever been to, and it’s outrageous what they allow themselves to do. Unfortunately, I also worked in a BK restaurant, so I am perfectly familiar with the sandwiches, the meat, and the prices. We came here to eat on three different occasions, and today was the last time. The Whiskey Master is one of my favorites because of the Angus beef, which you can never actually get in this restaurant. They sell the sandwich, but never with real Angus beef, while charging the same price. All three times they replaced the Angus patty with two Whopper patties and came up with the excuse that it had “just run out.” Disgusting management.

What a terrible job Burger King Zuidplein Hoog! I ordered delivery at 6:52 PM and still haven't received anything. It's now 8:20 PM, and it turns out they close at 8:30 PM, so I spent the last 10 minutes calling them, but they're simply not answering. And they're completely oblivious. The delivery wait time keeps changing, even now it's 8:43 PM, but no food.

It all started with the receipt roll missing from the printer when I ordered. The food was cold, and the unsalted fries were prepared reluctantly. There were no napkins, and the price I paid for the cold food I received was far too high.

I placed an order through Thuisbezorgd at 4 p.m. It's now been 2.5 hours and I still haven't received anything. Thuisbezorgd isn't making any progress either. Every time I refresh the page, it says 25 minutes left. This is truly awful, what a disaster.

The Twister comes without sauce, but the waitress behind the counter gave us plenty of sauce. 10/10, very satisfied.

Cold fries. No sauces (cheese sauce for €1.25) in stock, only ketchup or BBQ sauce were available as a replacement. Couldn't get a refund. Order not ready, accidentally pushed away. Onion rings cold. No soft drinks in the vending machine, only carbonated water. One star is really too much. Never again.

I ordered some nuggets, a hamburger, and fries to eat at my mother's house, a subway ride away. When I got there, the fries and sauces were missing, making for a rather meager meal. Staff should be more vigilant, or I won't be back!

This is one of the worst and dirtiest Burger King restaurants around. The food is cold and stale. You walk up to the counter. No, that's how it should be. How is a dried-out Whopper that's been sitting there for 20 minutes normal? Fries are soggy and cold. Drinking is impossible. You could pour your own water, but it's all empty. So, just don't come here. If you like Burger King, avoid this restaurant.

The service is terrible. One person is working, the rest are just standing around chatting and eating. It took 40 minutes to order two burgers. I recommend replacing the staff.

This is the worst Burger King in the Netherlands, in my opinion! It started with the order kiosk where the receipt roll was empty. It was inconvenient if you just missed your order number, but luckily we remembered it. A quick trip to the restroom while waiting costs €0.50, but if you don't have one, changing at the cash register is impossible! Apparently, the workload is so high that it's unmanned, and when you finally make eye contact with the "chief" after 5 minutes, you're told with a sneer to order at the kiosk. Incidentally, while waiting at the cash register, the bucket used to clean the restroom was prominently displayed on the counter, so if you ever manage to get to the restroom, it's probably clean. I'm not making this up, by the way, because the bucket had large letters indicating what it was supposed to be used for. Anyway, if you want to change money, you really have to shout to the kitchen—it's super tacky, but they don't give you a choice. When picking up my order, I asked for the receipt because, well... the receipt roll was empty. I did get one, but it was thrown at me in a very unfriendly manner by the "chief." Then came the food. The fries were cold and very sparse. The onions on the burger were cut into rings about 3 cm thick, rock-hard, and inedible, if you ask me. Apparently, the milkshake was also on the receipt, because the cup wasn't even full, as I'm used to. For two people, we paid €32 for two simple meals, which is a lot of money for a fast-food restaurant, in my opinion, but with this disappointing quality and the unfriendly staff, it felt like a truly overpriced meal. Ugh, never again!

2 adults and 2 children. So 2 menus and 2 happy meals. The wait was long and when our food was delivered it was cold. This Burger King used to be super but now it's average. I am hoping this is a one off and not a normal occurrence

After 2 hours and 10 minutes and several attempts to call the restaurant, my order was canceled. Still haven't been able to reach anyone. It was just one burger and fries. The restaurant is a 5-minute bike ride from my house, let alone with an electric bike or scooter, which they all have these days. ...not good.

I find Burger King on Lijnbaan subpar in several respects. The service is poor and hardly anyone speaks Dutch, which really shouldn't happen in a big city like Rotterdam. The staff seems disinterested and does everything effortlessly and without a smile. The atmosphere is also very uninviting, with a loud and unpleasant crowd. It's anything but comfortable to sit here. The food itself is far too greasy and salty; the quality is much better at other Burger Kings. I'll happily skip this one next time.

1 star...the only positive thing was that the food was hot. We also waited half an hour for two burgers, then got the wrong order, walked back, and then got the correct one. I ordered a burger and fries. Everyone before and after me had been served around 17 orders, and I was the last one to be served. The lady behind the counter is terrible; she really needs to resign. I asked her how far along my order was because I was the last one to be served for fries and a burger, and she arrogantly told me, "You'll be served last!" This is terrible.

How?!!! Just how did you manage to collect the order 918 in two minutes, and then almost equal one 917 in the other 10!!! minutes!!! While all the ingredients were already on the shelves! Of course, they got cold and wet after. It was very strange and stressful. Upd: next day, next problems. They made fries, have the cheese, but they didnt made box of fries with cheese. Amazing!!!

The room is not tidy. The fries are not salted and there is no free sauce. For mayonnaise or ketchup, you have to spend €0.50. The burgers are dry. The only good thing is that drinks are available at will, but the coke and coke zero are disgusting.

Employees seem to deliberately not activate the deposit cups. Only when you specifically ask for it, the scanner is taken with some grumbling. The result is that many people leave the cup behind out of frustration. That pile is then put aside by employees. What happens to it? Tip jar? Food which is fine, quite quickly.

I'm a customer of the establishment, why should I pay for the toilet? Where do I get coins from? Where am I supposed to get 50 cents from? I'd be better off going to McDonald's...

I bought a black coffee today, but it had a strange taste. It was very bitter and had an unpleasant odor. I think the coffee machine was not cleaned properly, or the quality of the coffee beans was very poor. I also had fries with crispy onions, cheese sauce and barbecue sauce. However, the amount of barbecue sauce was way too much. I hope they take this into account. Thank you.

Service is crap. We had a lot of deposit cups. Device did not work. Cashier did not want to give money back. He expected me to hand in the dirty ice cream and milkshake cups next time.

Worst service, a bunch of kids running this location, me and a woman waiting in cash counter to order the employee took the womans order and went, I am waiting there for 10 minutes till someone takes my order while every employee looking at me and joking with each other, after 10 minutes one of them showed up and says our cash counter is closed. Bullcrap!!! Now at mcdonlads they helped me in seconds!

Dirt, stench and malaria. Spoiled drinks literally taste like mold and are dirty - the tables are sticky with dirt. Vuil, stank en malaria. De drankjes zijn bedorven en gusten letterlijk naar schimmel. Vies – de tafels plakken van het vuil.

Dirty place, drink dispenser dirty and every drink was yellow, burger was lukewarm.

Was helped by a headscarf. Gives my drink without a straw and plastic. Another lady had to finish my order. What kind of underprivileged people work there?

De mensen die hier werken zijn bizar asociaal. In de vijf vreselijke minuten dat ik er was werd er tegen drie verschillende klanten geschreeuwd en lelijk gedaan voor geen reden. Wanneer er werd gevraagd of er ijs was werd er meteen geschreeuwd: “DE MACHINE IS KAPOT, KAN TOCH?!” Daarnaast zijn de toiletten bizar smerig en ruiken die naar de baby sectie van de monkey town. Niet hier komen.

I think the people who work there are very lazy. The meat no longer tastes like Burger King Anymore. The taste of Coca-Cola is very strange, and it feels like you're eating rubber instead of meat. The people are very grumpy. The place is always dirty and the bathroom looks like someone shit on all the walls. I'll never go back there again.

They've closed half of the store more an hour before the closing time, stopped cleaning the other half so every table was dirty and the waiting time was really long. Maybe it's better in the morning but I hated it

It was strange today that if you eat or drink something there you have to pay for the toilet. I can understand that if you are their customer you have to pay something, but this is really strange. Nice to have those deposit cups in the context of the environment, but it has to work. So I went to the counter again and when I got home it turned out that the counter had NOT credited the deposit but had WRITE OFF the 2 euro deposit again, so I paid 4 euros, a bit rudely wondering if there will be an answer to the previous one, so nothing. Last weekend I submitted a complaint by email but again no answer. Today, 5 months later, crying with the press. Fries had been on the tray for 10 minutes plus the rest of the burger was not ready yet. As a result, the fries were already cold. When you say something, they look at you strangely that you want another one. (Lady didn't speak Dutch). The drink machine gives so much foam that when you sit down in your seat you don't even have half a cup.

Very uncustomer friendly. By default, the roller shutters are down at 7:00 PM and all chairs are on the table, even though they are open until 8:00 PM. If you are still eating around 7:30 PM, they start cleaning your table and you are no longer allowed to go to the toilets because they are 'closed'. The deposit cups may also no longer be returned at 7:30 PM because the cash registers are already 'closed'. Really strange scenes at this BurgerKing. Have you ever experienced that cheese sauce and bacon were not put on the loaded cheesy fries because they had run out? So you got regular fries in a container for the price of a cheesy loaded fries.

Even after random reporting, we are well informed about what is happening.

Bad and cold food for the price quality ratio. Ate with 5 people. Not all items ordered were there. And then a short questionnaire on the back of the receipt. Doesn't work... Oh yes, paying for a dirty toilet and no toilet paper and etc.

Orders are delivered incomplete and incorrectly. (missing fries and fries sauce, you order a state money cup and you receive cardboard. Indicated that you are eating in the restaurant and yet you receive it in a paper bag.) They also closed the roller door during the opening for some reason. The person who has to remain at the door for safety reasons walked away from operating it several times. This is certainly not appropriate! In my opinion, the staff could be retrained.
