Waited for 1.5 hours only to find out in the end that they didn't even have the ingredients. Furthermore, the food we did get was bad and was still missing all sorts of things.

Placed an order. After waiting an hour, received a text message saying it was cancelled... and they don't answer the phone. First time ordering and I will never order again!!! And I am still hungry.

Absolutely worthless place. Arrived here at 8:00 PM. They didn't come to help when I was standing at the counter. Afterwards, they refused to accept cash for a chicken menu. Treating customers like that is ridiculous. Yesterday I had great service and good food at the Jungle Grill on Pretorialaan. And fortunately, I was served well immediately after leaving there at WAW Burger, where they don't make a fuss about cash. Also left a €5 coin for that staff there, because they are there for their customers. Show some of this disastrously bad place; there are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood that are there for their customers.

The food is very disgusting and raw, never come here!!! We paid 17 euros for a so-called smashburger with only 1 tomato and 1 pickle in it. This is too bizarre for words. The buffalo fries were anything but fries; there was 90% sauce on them and I know I probably won't be able to get off the toilet when I get home because of this!!! VERY BAD

We stopped by for a bite to eat at Fat Phills right after K3; we had never been here before and were in the mood for a hamburger. It was quite busy, and I respect that, but I do not respect how the staff were standing behind the counter. One was just staring ahead while the other was staring at the fries; there was nothing on the grill. And there was a lady in front of us who had waited an hour for a serving of fries. There were four of us, and we had ordered four burgers. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for them; scandalous! I understand that it is busy, but work hard and don't just sit there staring into space. In any case, we won't be coming back!! The burgers were okay, though; the fries were nicely seasoned.

The order was supposed to take 45 minutes, I contacted them multiple times, but 2 hours after ordering it was cancelled by them.

The burgers themselves tasted fine, but the fries were not good. Additionally, waiting almost an hour for 2 burgers and 2 portions of fries while 3 people were standing there working is not normal; at that moment, there were perhaps 7 people who hadn't received their food yet. The food also didn't sit well with us. We got a terrible stomach ache from it. This branch is absolutely not recommended.

Received Albert Heijn burger buns, even though this was not mentioned beforehand. The bun was missing almost all the ingredients. No atmosphere. Came here only for the discount on the burgers, but even with the discount, it wasn't worth the money. Had to wait a long time too. The restaurant was filthy, trash was lying everywhere. Also, the burger wasn't tasty, it was missing sauce. The portions were also small.

I had to wait half an hour for my order. This made me impatient, so I asked how much longer it would be, and they told me they hadn't even started yet! This isn't the first time this has happened to me. I wanted to give them another chance, but I'll never go there again. I recommend going across the street to WAW Burger, which I did immediately!

The food was fine for a fast food place; the meat was a bit tough, but still okay. The waitresses were friendly and fast. It's not a 4****, but I wouldn't expect that here.

Don't get me wrong, you get a pretty good burger for your money. The flavor is good, and the meat and bread are really fresh. However, the atmosphere is absolutely awful. There's a constant loop of meaningless hip-hop music, and there's an AI-generated mural of someone supposed to be Eminem. Everyone has their own taste, so I'll leave that up to you to judge. The service was absolutely terrible. There are three people behind the counter, none of whom give the impression of having experience or control. There's zero coordination regarding the tasks to be assigned. This is impressive, as ordering is done via a touchscreen, so no one needs to be at the cash register. The grill is far too small for the number of burgers that need to be made. And when a batch of burgers comes off the grill, they wait far too long to add new ones. This causes delays. All three employees are simultaneously preparing the sandwiches, which is a lack of efficiency. As a result, people have to wait far too long for their orders. We ourselves waited 50 minutes for our order on a Friday evening. And there were a total of fifteen people in the store. The staff had long, thick hair without hairnets. They also wore gloves that they didn't remove or change when picking up trash from the floor or table. My tips: - Stop home delivery because you can't even handle a full store. - Hire a manager who coordinates everything. - Address hygiene issues. This store has ruined Fat Phills for us. I'll definitely try another store for the benefit of the doubt.

Staff stare at you while your food waits 15 minutes for pickup, then start joking and being friendly while your food gets cold. Then they take another 15 minutes to make a shake. When you ask what's taking so long, you get "it's coming," even though you can see the bag has been sitting there for half an hour. NEVER AGAIN bad, bad, bad staff!!

The food was tasty but the fries were soggy and the tenders didn't really have any flavor. The burger was tasty and the sauces were tasty.

You walk in and see the staff sitting there, disinterestedly playing music, ignoring customers. The order screens don't work; you can't order. It also smells bad, which isn't what I'm used to at Fat Phili's.

My chicken burger and fries were delicious. I'd recommend the truffle mayo; it's really good. The food was a bit pricey for a burger joint, but it was filling and very tasty. There were only two people working when I was there in the evening, so I had to wait a bit. However, the food was good, and the place is easily accessible by car or metro/bus. The restrooms were clean, which is also nice.

I'm visiting Rotterdam, the welcome was good, it was tasty but very, very salty. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back. It seems as though salt was poured into the chips.

In front of the restaurant it smelled like urine; inside the restaurant the tables hadn’t been cleaned, so it wasn’t clean overall. The fridge used to cool the drinks was leaking, making the floor extremely slippery and wet. The toilet was also full of water, and instead of soap there was water in the soap dispenser. The food took a bit longer to arrive, but it was edible.

The burgers here are something else — they might just redefine what a good burger means to you. Terribly rude staff towards customers. All of the customers experienced it, i dont know what minimum wage does to them but its not the Zara. You are in a fast food chain, i dont think you acting like that is gonna change your life into something better. Anyhow, rude staff to all customers (I was just watching it happen while eating after it happened to me). Food was not to be compared to other locations, quite bad. I say this as someone else who works in food service.

Do not order from here, worst philly cheese steak I have ever eaten and they dare to charge you 17eu, I wouldn't even pay 5eu for this. Threw half of it away, they do not use the right cut of meat, no peppers, no onions, bun is not toasted its just soft wet mess, the cheese is some crap from a tube like cheese wizz so not even real cheese. We ordered two very basic burger menus, as the menu was almost empty due to a lack of stock. The total came to €50, which I find excessively expensive for a fast food restaurant. We were only two customers in the restaurant, and the atmosphere was non-existent. To give us our order, the waiter did not call us by our first names, but whistled to call out to us. The ground, on the other hand, was either very greasy or wet, as it was extremely slippery.

There were two of us and we found it very disappointing. The fries were soggy with grease and the burger looked nothing like the photos. Just a white supermarket bun that fell apart. The patty was thin, so you mainly tasted bread. The place had poor ventilation and no atmosphere. Employees were fine, but not very involved. For such a high price, we expected much better. The chicken was still okay, but we won't be back.

The burger was a limp, greasy bite, the bacon had no taste, but the burger meat did. Cheap tasteless fries undercooked with too much spice. Ordered burger without cheese and received cheese. All milkshakes were sold out. Staff and restaurant itself gives new meaning to unpleasant and unwelcoming. BBQ sauce was good. Better go to Five Guys for these prices.

Just came from a kids event at Ahoy and it was extremely busy and I was tired and hangry but Eldridge was on top of orders and working a busy shift alone! Super efficient, thorough and great customer service. My son and I really enjoyed our food. The hot chicken burger was juicy and crispy just like I remember from down South in America and my son’s cheeseburger was perfectly cooked. Thank you Eldridge for making our first experience at Fat Phil’s Zuidplein such a pleasant one.

What bad service. We waited over an hour for our food. Our food arrived cold & part of our order was missing. We indicated that we would like this to come our way. The gentleman on the phone was rude and just said “That's not my problem”. If you forget something, is it your problem? Especially after an expensive order. He indicated that we could get a discount on our next order, but that they would not send the rest now. What a joke. Thinking that you will order again after such an experience.

A burger made of white buns that are also cold. The bun was dripping so much that it was completely wet. Many options in the drop-down menu are not available (out of stock). No taste at all. But the best part is employees who can't even show a smile and prove that they are only there for the money. Don't waste your money people! Such a waste of the €50 we paid, we might as well throw it in the trash ourselves!

The Pictures were clearly more attractive. The person who made the hamburger suddenly had amnesia and forgot the seasonings on the meat (what a bland meal). Tables were dirty and still had the previous customers order. Was cleaned upon request with a cloth that has seen months! Food was severely substandard. I paid +- €13 for a double and €16 for a triple hamburger. What the price was not true at all. They could have done much better than what you paid for. And the staff is not motivated at all by the low customer visits! No, this tent doesn't see me anymore!

What a stupid restaurant this is!! On Thursday we waited an hour for our food and after an hour we still didn't get anything. We finally asked to get our money back. They said that we will have it deposited in the bank on 20/03/2025 and it has already been 6 days since 26/03/2025. We would like to have our money refunded, fat phils!!!!!

I unfortunately had a very bad experience in this restaurant. We waited 40 minutes for our burgers, and in the end the taste was not good. There was too much oil in the burger which made it very unpleasant. In addition, the service was also bad: there were only 3 people for the entire restaurant, which is clearly not enough. What a disastrous evening. During iftar we had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food. The staff are disorganized and inefficient, completely incapable of running a restaurant properly. If you are looking for a pleasant iftar experience, avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other restaurants that know how to treat their guests well.

Bad service Not thinking along with the Guests Are not professional at all I worked at Fat Phillls before Now the work there is very different And Fat Phills is quite pricey But if you deliver bad food you should be ashamed of the other branches and hire better staff, but I have heard stories that no one wants to work there, I say close it, it's a shame that such a company still exists if you don't want to work, sit at home because somewhere it is possible, why not here ?????

We came from paris the lady in the kitchen was very slow the price are so high ! don’t go there it’s to expensive for what it is !! She made Menu by menu we waited 1h30 for simple burgers !!!! Delicious food. A bit on the greasy side, but otherwise really tasty😍. Be sure to visit. However, you can park in the Zuidplein parking garage, but you will have to walk around a bit.

DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE!!! I normally never write reviews, but I would like to take some time for this experience. My wife and I entered Fat Phills Zuidplein and immediately upon arrival we were looked at strangely by a Pakistani (or Hindustani-looking) employee wearing a headscarf. She was ringing the doorbell on a loudspeaker and seemed very disinterested. When I took a menu, this lady indicated that I should place the order at a screen and not there (I did not place an order at the cash register, just took the menu??). Then I placed an order for €40 and it contained far too many and far too sharp sauces. After two bites, my wife and I couldn't take it anymore and we asked if we could get a refund or part or maybe new food without a ridiculous amount of sauce. The lady acted very uninterested and indicated that all that was not possible. Food thrown away. We also wanted to speak to someone else and the lady indicated that that was not possible. In the meantime, she continued chatting casually with her boyfriend on the phone that was on speaker. SO A BIG DISADVANTAGE!!!!!

At 3:30 PM it was almost empty here, I only had the mozzarella sticks and they were there in 5 minutes. The people who ordered after me had a more complicated order, but they also had it within 5 minutes. The dishes are on the pricey side. Music should not have been louder (could have been softer)

Please Close! Had tried once before at the restaurant and didn’t like the food This time ordered some burgers and fries and it was the worst meat I’ve ever had. The meat in the burgers tasted disgusting and the fries came cold, and with so much watery cheese that they were not crispy anymore. The bread on the sandwich’s was dry. Pretty much overpriced and I would only advise this food as a laxative.

We order to home, it was delivered fast within 30 min. Nashville chicken burger was very good , highly recommended.

I do not recommend visiting this eatery, having ordered fries with bacon for a considerable amount, having waited 25 minutes for regular fries (which they already have prepared), they gave me a bag with my order with dirty hands, after which all my clean hands and the bag were in fat, having sat down to eat I discovered that they didn’t even deign to put in bacon

Great place. The burger is juicy and at the same time you don’t get dirty with it. Bun was so sooooft and meat done well full of taste. Perfect!

The restaurant is easy to reach by public transportation. Food was easy to order, tastes great and was brought out relatively quick after ordering. Music wasn’t my kind of music but otherwise good. Only comment I can have is that the letter ‘H’ in ‘thoughts’ was left out🙃

The place was so full of smoke that we didn't even want to sit inside because the extraction wasn't on or it simply didn't work. Then waited 35 minutes while the place was not even a quarter full! Food was way too sweet... unfortunately because Zoetermeer is permanently closed, we ended up at Zuidplein. Once and never again! Downright bad

My partner and I recently visited and ordered the Meaty Madness and Big Belly burgers, turning one of them into a combo with fries to share. Their regular fries are a standout – much better than thin French fries. They have a nice rustic feel and are perfectly crispy. The burger buns are another highlight, being delightfully fluffy and fresh. As for the meat, it was abundant and clearly made fresh, arriving quickly and still warm. After picking up some groceries, we went back for shakes – an Oreo and a pistachio. They were pure heaven on a day where it was 30+ degrees. Overall, Fat Phill's is next level fast food. Highly recommend!

Worst service ever, after 20 minutes then they tell you that they do not have vegan burgers, and offer freaking mozzarella sticks on a burger (when I specifically told her I am lactose intolerant). She was very rude and did not even give us the money back and was again rude about it like it is our problem because that "thingy" like she called it did not work. Worst experience ever and they make you cleane the table. DO NOT EAT HERE!

And because i want nothing but greatness for you guys, i Will give you one crucial tip: Find a system for how your kitchen staff works. You can't have everybody doing the Same thing all at once. Put one person behind the deep fry, one behind the Meat, and two that slap the orders together. And as you were five that day, then you still have someone left to do the drinks and the service. The wait was really way too long, and it shouldn't have to be! (Just like this review.) I will be back tho to see if you listened to the feedback of your customers.

Waited 80 minutes for 2 burgers and cold fries… abnormal. Asked if we could do something about the price and the lady indicated that this was “normal” and was outrageous! In addition, the place was super dirty, there were food scraps on all the tables. English speaking ladies behind the counter were also very smart. Never again!
