Burger King in Centrum

The milkshake was like water, the Twister fries were quite cold, and you couldn't tell the difference between a small and a medium portion. We paid almost 30 euros, but we received quality that was worth less than 1 euro. We will never come here again. I normally never do this, but I felt compelled to leave a review.

This location is undoubtedly one of the worst available branches in the Netherlands. The reason: Portions are truly minuscule compared to other branches. See the photo for a portion of cheesy bacon fries with extra cheese and extra bacon. Milkshakes are always "sold out." Food is practically cold by the time you get it. The atmosphere is grumpy, and the only employee at the counter is certainly not happy either. I can't blame her, since they have to run the entire kitchen with two or three people. All in all, it's a real shame. Burger King can be very good, provided it's made according to the guidelines, which isn't the case here.

And Zaanse mayo x Burger King is a great combo :p Is the King an ethically responsible choice? I don't know. But it is the better choice compared to McDonalds with its dry burgers. I love the sticky juicy BK burgers. This location is too big for how many people eat here. It is quieter upstairs in the BK than in the UB. 50 cents for the toilet? Great food, and now also a delivery service. I already know where my money goes!! 2025: I'm going to update my review. The service has deteriorated considerably in the meantime. It helps that the food is still just as good, but you don't have to come here for a quick bite anymore. It took so long before we had food. So from 4 to 3 stars.

Bug on the ordering machine made my order have a vegan burger instead of normal one, I wanted to at least show the bug to one of the workers so they can report/fix it, not necesarily to get another burger but I was plainly ignored for 5 minutes of standing in front next to the worker and trying to talk to her.

This is the worst place!!! My order had rotten potatoes (after finding them I couldn't eat them) when I asked for a refund for the potatoes, they told me - it's not possible! I've been here many times, but today is the last day of my visit to this place!

While eating upstairs I was locked in along with my friends. Isn't that a *huge* fire risk? The first stairs had several chairs stacked in front, the other had a chain blocking my path. They didn't even tell me they were closing upstairs, just found myself locked in when I tried to leave.

Burger King already closes at 10 PM instead of 2300. You pay for a deposit and you don't get this. You really have to work hard to get your euro back. And the floor was very dirty and sticky!! Can't!!!

A nice, large Burger King. As usual, you order food via the terminal. Orders are called out in Dutch and English. Our food was actually still very hot, which was a pleasant surprise. Using the restroom costs 50 cents, even for guests.

We arrived hungry and thought we could quickly get a nice menu but the employers who were behind the bar did not speak loud enough for us to hear it, the fries and drinks were edible, mediocre actually because the milkshake was way too thick that the straw remained upright, that is not how you make a milkshake and the burgers we had were stone cold and tasteless...not edible.. Such a waste of money and actually I would like some compensation but oh well... Such a shame that the burger king and the people there are going downhill fast with their sour looks.. What kind of management is going on at BK Groningen centre... Only 2 staff members present at lunch time during holiday season. Loads of people waiting too long on their orders. When my burger finally arrived it was cold and anaemic almost had no taste. Food tasted good but was unfortunately lukewarm. This was because it was incredibly busy. At one point the toilet was no longer available because there were no more 50 cent coins to exchange and despite the fact that there were still people upstairs, the upper floor was closed off with a chain that everyone had to climb over.

Burger King Waagstraat Groningen. Finally had a normal meal at a real BK. BK 'branches' at train stations are worthless. It's always a hassle to redeem coupons and BKs at stations don't participate in the rewards points. I'm missing out on a lot of money because of that. Today everything was as intended. But it remains frustrating, so few BK restaurants in the Netherlands. Surely every city with 50,000 inhabitants or more can have a BK? I can't even go to a BK in Leeuwarden!

Really rude staff. You can not use the toilets even if you are buying something…. Also it is not clean. I recommend the supermarket which is 5 star compare to this “ restaurant”

2 kids menus, 2 normal menus. Waited 25 minutes for it to be ready. There was one lady behind the counter who was 'seeing through' her working day. No friendliness, shuffles from the chip shop to the counter, then shuffles to where the prepared sandwiches are waiting, shuffle, shuffle, shuffle. There was no speed. It was quite busy but I think it was manageable. A cup of coke had been spilled in front of the counter but it was not cleared up. Her colleagues from the chip shop (I saw 2) did not help either. The floor on the entire top floor was sticky, as well as the stairs at the back of the business. I got the feeling that I was walking around a party bar or something on a Saturday night and the floor was sticky from the beer. As a bonus, there was also drinks spilled upstairs at 2 different tables that were not cleared up. We sat upstairs (in the frying air) for over an hour but did not see an employee once, for example to clear tables. To get the deposit back for the cups I had to wait another 10 minutes, then the same employee without saying a word handed me 4 euros back and walked away. And then the furniture... has also seen its best days. We have eaten here before, but after today's experience I will leave the BK for what it is... even though the food was excellent. All in all it wasn't worth the 36 euros.

Burger King should rebrand to Burger peasant. My recent trip to BK was pretty poor, the burgers tasted like yesterday's leftovers, and I felt no endorphin rush after consuming the burger. What also grinds my gears is how every little extra costs more (including sauce PLUS the little sachet it comes in...). There was also a charge for maestro, this is very un-australian. It's a real shame for burger king lovers worldwide.

The chicken on the sandwich was also way too salty. The milkshakes were either too thick or too weak. My son ordered an oreo-like ice cream, which he received as a milkshake, which was ridiculous, the pieces of oreo did not fit through the straw. I think it should be eaten with a spoon. This was our first and last time eating at Burger King. We had to pay more than 42 euros, so I got tastier food elsewhere.

If you take a combo, then the prices are normal and the quality is acceptable. However, this particular establishment has problems: extremely long waits, uncleaned tables, poor order picking. This is also due to a clear lack of staff. The food is delicious and not expensive. You have to wait a long time for your order to be fulfilled. Orders are not fulfilled by number - the order number may appear first on the screen for 15 minutes, but never be fulfilled. The ice compartment is always overfull and when glasses are emptied, ice cubes fall on customers sitting next to them. Garbage is often not removed from the floor and tables are not wiped down in time.
