Fat Phill's Groningen in Centrum

You can only order on screens and pay by card, you will not receive a receipt!!! Very slow service and the fries are not cooked properly and are lukewarm and limp. The burger looked okay, but the bun looked bad but was still edible. Tables are not clean!!! And the price is way too expensive for the quality you get!!! I don't recommend it!!!

wouldn't come again, waited at least half an hour for our food (2 philly cheese steaks and a chicken burger with mac and cheese) and the mac and cheese arrived cold. the food is fine but not special.

What a terrible place this is, waiting 45 minutes for my food. The staff is being “funny” and doesn't take you seriously.

It is unacceptable. Let's start with the interior, it is decided in black, and everyone who has ever touched anything seems to have an oil stain, starting from the table and ending with the walls. No matter what, at least it will be like this. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries, I was hungry, I waited at least 25 minutes, which is unacceptable. The taste is not great, the famous fast food chains Mack or Burger King are better. Maybe it would be better if you take it with 100 times more meat, but the menu costs 20+ euros, which is inadequate for this quality and environment. It's a loser. Before the food was brought, I got an ear infection.

Stopped here for something to eat while visiting the Gromongen Kerstmarkt. First off all the food is really well priced and portion sizes are generous. Loaded fries... really good. Burgers... really good. The cheese steak is quite spicy, which I don't mind at all but not sure about the average Dutch palate. The beef on the cheese steak is a bit chewy though. Chicken nuggets also a winner. It's definitely a franchise I will revisit.

We thought we would have a hamburger last Sunday. More than half were out of stock, so we ultimately opted for fries. We got an incredibly salty bite, such a shame because with much less added salt it would certainly have tasted much better. What we also noticed was that they only allowed friends of the employees or other "dark" guests at the table at the front. When two white girls came, they were told that table was occupied when it wasn't. It's all a bit strange...

Despite all the stories I've heard, I've never experienced anything crazy and the food at Fat Phills is always delicious (but you always don't wait that long for your order).

In terms of taste, Fat Phills is not bad, but I find it very unhygienic when I find a woman behind the cash register who will prepare my food with her long loose hair without a cap and prepare my sandwich with her hands with mega long nails without gloves. This is basic hygiene that every company must master to become successful. In addition, the music is played extremely loud... This scares people, including me. I doubt I'll come here again. Too bad, because the food is tasty. Nice woman at checkout. Tip for improvement new owner of Fat Phills!

Food after 3 hours+ just not delivered. On home delivery, simply say that it has been delivered. Quality of food has been less recently, never again for me DO NOT ORDER IF YOU WANT TO EAT QUICKLY.

Unfortunately Google doesn't allow me to upload a photo. But the bread was still completely raw (salmonella danger) wrong drink. And paid 40+ euros for it, it wasn't even edible. I would honestly rather eat 3 day old McDonald's than what I got here.

Waited forever for the food and then was extremely disappointed... the sauces tasted like raw cleaner and were not edible. I would have preferred to throw the mac and cheese straight out of the store and it was completely overpriced NEVER AGAIN

Really really bad. Restaurant is dirty, music is loud. Staff is extremely slow. No one was there, but we still waited almost half an hour for the food. The choice was very limited, nothing (including menus?) were not available. You pay 16 euros for a very dirty, greasy burger. Not good and really not recommended. While I once had a very nice meal there in Amsterdam.

Never seen such a dirty place before. Didn't know it was possible in the Netherlands. You should also enjoy the excruciating noise that is played on the speakers. Toilet completely flooded, no soap, no toilet paper. I don't understand why this branch hasn't closed down yet. Eat the most rancid burger and then taste a bite of plastic in my mouth, it's difficult to remove the piece of plastic from the frozen slice of cheddar cheese! Hopeless people. I am going to the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority and will make it my leisure activity to close this place personally.

Lovely girl working at the counter. Food looks really good presentation wise but was so tasteless 😭. Store was dark and cramped. I tried the chicken burger which was too sour, but didn’t try the famous smash burgers yet, so might change my review afterwards

Ordered a burger with chicken and lettuce at just before 5:00 PM and received a burger with only sauce and chicken. When I asked why there was no lettuce on it they said it was gone :(

The food was good, but I'm concerned about the hygiene. I saw someone drinking lemonade straight from the container, the staff was dressed too casually, and there was loud music playing. Overall, there is a lot of room for improvement.

Amazing halal option in Groningen. Food is great, staff is friendly and the location is good. With 4 guys we got way more than would be enough to fill us and only payed 90 euro’s total.

The food was good, unfortunately we had to wait almost an hour. There was only one employee there, the tables were not clean and the toilets were dirty. For the price you can expect reasonable service.

Food was forgotten twice and then prepared incorrectly. Had to wait 45 minutes and then they forgot half of the order again. Toilets were as clean as a piss-filled rest stop toilet

The food was really great despite the expensive prices, but the waiting time was ridiculous. I waited almost an hour, then walked over to ask where my food was, was told I had to wait 8 minutes and then it took another fifteen minutes longer before I got my food. Order probably didn't go well or was simply skipped. Shame.

Overly priced and nothing special

Went today for the first time. And as far as food is concerned, no complaints. Maybe a little too pricey. I was sitting in the restaurant by myself. What struck me is the whole hip-hop/rap atmosphere. Fine for me. But I can imagine that a family or women would not feel comfortable here. Especially with music. Not really the music that fills a full restaurant.

One of the best burgers I've had in the city and a place I now often go to. The buns are fluffy and not dry, the burgers aren't falling apart and the sauce isn't overpowering. We usually order the Meaty Madness and the Double Nashville Chicken Cheeseburger, both of them fantastic. The sides are also warm and tasty. I absolutely adored the stroopwafel milkshake! The waiting time is on the longer side, at least 20-25 min but you can vibe to the 00's hiphop music. Don't let the emptiness of the place fool you.

I think these are the best burgers in town! A truly unique taste. Not too salty, not falling apart quickly, not too small. Delicious! Always nice people behind the counter. The fries are also deliciously seasoned and a good portion. You can also have cheese sauce poured over this. Lots of choice too, especially the sauces! I often choose gravy myself (where do you get that!). There are many American snacks on the menu, I haven't even tried these yet because the burger is already too tasty hmmm.

Samen met mijn neefje voor het eerst hier gegeten. Hij genoot van zijn sandwich en friet en we komen zeker nog een keer terug! Goede service en lekkere broodjes. De sandwich chicken blt viel erg in de smaak.

Geweldig, eten was erg lekker en snel klaar, maar zeker geen troep. Het restaurant was leuk ingericht en er hing een prettige sfeer, heb je zin in een niet normaal lekkere sandwich of burger? Ga dan hier naartoe! De patat met de bijgeleverde saus was ook heerlijk.

Super lekker eten! Vergeet KFC en de Mac, dit is 10 x beter. Super vriendelijke medewerkers! Echt een aanrader

Richtig guter Laden. Super Burger und richtig schön auch da drin. Ich Frage mich, warum der Laden so leer war, war echt mega. Nur die hatten erst Mal nicht genug Wechselgeld für meine Freunde und mich, haben das aber schlussendlich bekommen. Sehr nette Leute dort.

Vandaag naar Phat Phill's geweest. Eerste impressie was... een lege eettent... De man achter de balie wees mij op de scherm. Daar moest ik mijn bestelling op doen want die was geupdate van wat er is. Nou vooruit. Ah een vleesburger met extra vlees en vlees . Die is voor mij . Menu van maken? Vooruit .. ik wil een milkshake ipv cola .. kan niet... Oke dan cola en een milkshake erbij... Kan niet want er is geen milkshake.... Nou dan nog patat en een mayo... ( let op je krijgt een soort van wiskeysaus erbij.. de mayo betaal je extra voor. Goed. Ik laat de side dishes voor wat het is.. €20,25 afgerekend... Dit moet wel een verdomd goede burger en patat zijn De man neemt zijn tijd en brengt het persoonlijk. Wat ik voor mij zie is een plaatje! Wat een mooi broodje hamburger. De patat is van dat ribbel patat. Smaak: Ik hoef niet over het blikje Coca cola te hebben. Het broodje hamburger met bacon en kipnuggets en nog meer vlees was... Lekker. Het broodje was geweldig de verschillende lagen van vlees en saus en wat nog meer geweldig. En toch.... Was het niet zo geweldig als dat ik bij een concurrent / collega zaak had beleefd. Iets mist .. kan het niet omschrijven. De patatjes dan? Nou dat was niet slecht ... Maar het was niet zo lekker dat ik daar terug voor kom. En dat had de andere zaak echt tot in perfectie. Kortom: Hamburger zeer goed Patat redelijk goed Veel dingen zoals milkshake niet aanwezig. Bediening is eigenlijk zeer goed. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding iets te duur.

Na een middagje winkelen krijg je natuurlijk honger! Wij kwamen langs deze zaak en het reclame bord zag er uitnodigend uit dus zijn we naar binnen gegaan. Op het menu stonden veel lekkere dingen dus we besloten van alles wat te bestellen en uit te proberen. Jammer genoeg moesten we 3 kwartier wachten op ons eten en kregen we het idee dat onze bestelling vergeten was aangezien er meerdere klanten na ons binnen kwamen en nog veel eerder weer weg gingen met hun eten. Uiteindelijk kregen we onze bestelling, Mac n cheese zat half over het dienblad gesmeerd en aan het andere eten.. patat was helaas al koud. De hamburger was wel warm en erg smakelijk en ook de kippetjes smaakten goed. Personeel was verder vriendelijk maar ik zou, vooral door het lange wachten en koude eten, deze plek niet zo snel aanraden.
