Burger King in Centrum

Extremely mediocre branch. Can only exist due to the location. Even when ordering on-site, everything is available for takeaway.

Everything is sold out at this location, no hamburgers, cheeseburgers, etc. etc. Also closed at times when they are supposed to be open.

How can only 3 people work there? One takes the order, another... I don't know... walks around a bit and does nothing, and the other makes the food. So if you want to order food at this so-called fast food restaurant, you'll lose at least 15 minutes; you'll miss the train that way. Better to quickly grab some food at the supermarket next door.

It is about time they hired a professional cleaning company to thoroughly clean everything from top to bottom in this BURGER KING building. The light strips and lettering are covered in dust and cobwebs. The heating filter above the doors is also a mess. And the floor could really use a deep cleaning too. You can barely see through the windows anymore. If you look around, you’ll be shocked at how dirty this place is. The baseboards above the wainscoting are also full of dust and dead flies. I would recommend going to eat somewhere else. The food is also served cold.

Truly the most worthless Burger King. And on top of that, the staff is super unfriendly. The boss has no sympathy either. The food is also stale, dry, and impossible to eat.

A real bunch of idiots. They just stand there chatting. My order has been sitting there for two minutes, not a single other one, and my train is about to leave. So I ask them to give me my food. Then I get the answer: "Yeah, right, sir, I'll be right there," even though it's sitting there and I don't see a single other order. No one else has ordered before me. So I paid, but no food. What a crappy Burger King this is.

The food is inconsistent in taste and quality, the staff are disinterested, and the clothes are frequently dirty. There also seems to be no structure. The restaurant itself is dated and neglected, with broken chairs and a lot of dirt. It's a real shame for the station right now.

The food is generally decent for fast food, but "fast" certainly doesn't refer to the pace of work. Waiting for a burger that's already been ready doesn't do the food any good. And you pay quite a bit for that. Not recommended if you have to catch a train or bus.

It's absolutely filthy here. The staff are preparing food wearing jewelry and fake nails, and they're incredibly grumpy. They're busy texting while the counter really needs a wipe. The fries: clearly fried for the second time and cold.

Slowest fast food chain I know. I had a 36 minute transfer, me and my friends figured we'd be able to get dinner during it, but we still had to run for our train....

Terrible service. I ordered a single burger which wasn't ready after 25 minutes. Then I had to leave because my train was coming, and I didn't get a refund. If you want to eat somewhere else, definitely go somewhere else, it's a really bad place!!

Delicious burgers and onion rings

The worst fast food chain inside a station. The people working here couldn’t care less, they do everything slow. There were like 10 customers between people eating and standing, and after waiting 15min I couldn’t even order one simple bag of small fries. They don’t take your orders until they are done with the first ones, they don’t want to, so unpractical. I wish this was a Mc Donald’s, at least they would be faster.

A "large" of fries and 6 chicken nuggets. Over 8 euros. One of the nuggets was impossible to cut with a knife. There was something seriously wrong with it, but I didn't eat it. Don't sneeze too hard with the fries, or they'll blow away. In short: OUTRAGEOUS.

The burger looks like scales; it made me gag. It was inedible and it is cold. The cola you get doesn't taste like cola but like water, so there are too many ice cubes in it. And the salt from the fries makes your mouth water.

Strange man behind the counter. If you misspeak, they can't cancel this product(?). Even if you correct yourself immediately. Lazy way of working or a scam lol.

Food was made extra special with added toppings no charge, they made fancy fries as good as an artisan french fries restaurant that charges €8 for a serving of fries. Excellent customer service for "Have it Your Way". Only downside is Power Plugs in Restaurant do not work and if you want to charge your phone, etc, you have to leave it with the BK staff and they will hold onto it for you and charge your stuff. Not ideal, but it's alright. 3 stars in atmosphere due to the power plugs, otherwise amazing customer service.

Ordered 70 euros of food and they forgot a bag of fries sauce and then they charged you 75 cents and then they also started talking about how strange you thought that was. Very bad Burger King.

The atmosphere is like a barn; you wait almost half an hour for one burger. Even though it wasn't busy... And then you wait half an hour and your burger is cold... and you end up spending the evening comfortably in the toilet..... This is truly the worst Burger King I have ever seen in my life... in terms of service, food, and appearance.

I placed my order and paid. Then my order was called out, and a drunken guy immediately demanded it. I immediately said, "Hey, that's my order." I had to re-order and was told it was on its way. After waiting for almost fifteen minutes, I asked about the status of my order, and was treated like a scammer. I paid for the sauce and no food... I had a debit card transaction and was expecting a resolution.

It's a disgrace, your employee refuses to redeem Burger King promo codes. When I told her she couldn't refuse, she said she doesn't. You can't refuse to redeem the coupons they give me online because I'm a regular customer of this restaurant. It's a disgrace and a lack of professionalism.

They only have a staff restroom. My five-year-old daughter desperately needed to pee while we were eating there. I asked them if she could please use the staff restroom because she desperately needed to pee, and because she's so small, she can hardly hold it. I had to consult with the manager, and the manager said no, that's not allowed. Well, I'm sorry, I think it's ridiculous. They have a restroom there, and my daughter almost wets her pants. It's just incredibly pathetic and inhumane. And the cashier, while taking my order, just walked away for a few minutes while I was still paying, looking grumpy. The staff are not friendly.

Absolutely fantastic! It's a real shame there isn't one closer to us (northwest Friesland). This was my first time at Burger King, and now I'm even more disappointed there isn't one nearby. 🙈 The burgers are by far better than those of the competitor with the yellow arches. I had a whopper and a hamburger, both significantly better topped with vegetables and pickles that aren't so thin you can practically see through them. 😅 Who's starting the first franchise in Leeuwarden? 💪

I just had half an hour extra transfer time and I didn't even manage to place an order it took that long. Do you think it's strange if you put 3 of the fries in the bag at the same time? Staff also look as if they are waiting to be put out of their misery. Whether it is edible will forever remain a mystery with such service.

Grumpy staff, super slow, not friendly at all and very grumpy heads!! If this had been my company I would have hired faster workers, it's a fast food chain!! And certainly customer-friendly staff because this is not okay, never come again!!

Has a reputation of being very slow. It always is pretty sad that if you have 10 minutes to spare that you often are not able to even get a simple icecream here. They are always understaffed and the people that do work there never seem to be bothered whenever other customers walk out after they have nowhere to put in their order. Its really weird that they uave had this reputation for such a long time here and they are located at a public trainstation where people often are on a time limit for an order. If your looking for a quick tasty snack you'll save time by just walking all the way to the other side of the station and ordering something at smullers instead. Because that 6 minutes of total walking is much shorter than average service time at burger king

What a bad BK, what lousy staff, no one for us, ordered 2 long chicken (no menu) and after fifteen minutes, and missed the train, the order of which the long chicken was lukewarm. How?? Had a menu yesterday evening, xxl burger tasted a bit strange, not tasty. During a recent visit to Burger King, I encountered a disappointing inconsistency in the sizes of the meat patties in the burgers I ordered. While the veggie options I ordered were satisfactory, it was disheartening to find that the meat patties in the three hamburgers I ordered were consistently undersized. Despite my satisfaction with the veggie options, the discrepancy in portion sizes significantly impacted my overall dining experience. As a loyal customer, I expect a certain level of quality and consistency, which unfortunately was not met during this visit.

Toilet costs money, even if you pay. Food too expensive. Photos do not correspond to reality.

The servicing speed is low. Long queue to wait to order. And the staff were both pay attention on their jobs.

The person behind cashier took my order wrong. Probably she did not hear correctly but she didnt bother to confirm. I only found out when i received my order after more than 15 mins waiting. There was a long line of people waiting for their food. The person who put the order together in the bag worked at snail speed. So stresful to see and experience when you need to catch your train.

Waited 15 minutes when there was no line. The guy behind the counter was fiddling with the milkshake machine. Apparently I didn't feel like placing an order. Finally I got a croissant at the appie. We had 50 minutes to eat something before the train departed, but apparently that was too short.

Yes, this is really too bad for words. What perverts. When making my burgers, I touch everything with my hands and scratch my head in between. I gave my burgers to 2 customers who were eating there. They will NEVER see me there again. Also very "motivated" staff. Looks like a kindergarten playground.

The name may be Burger King, but they don't even deserve the title of Burger Hofnar. I'm an Ajax player, but even this season is not as sad as this burger 'king'. It already started when ordering. The burger was so dry that it made the Aldi festive loaf even juicier. Moreover, it was so cold that residents of Antarctica wondered whether this was normal in the Netherlands. Haven't been there for a long time and then that familiar whopper, delicious. This burger king serves the burger as it should be. I have also tried the burger a few times in Spain, but they cannot make a burger there like the burger king at Groningen station. Keep frying the burgers and fries guys, you have my credits.

Well... you shouldn't be here for the atmosphere and I can live with that. The hamburger wasn't very good for 11 euros either. Not bad but not worth 11 euros either. Fries with BBQ sauce, 5 euros, and that is the smallest size. BBQ sauce because they don't have mayonnaise.... and folks, if I don't order a drink then I don't need a straw. Altijd druk, snel bestellen of ophalen is er niet bij. Mijn tijd omstreeks 16 uur. Betaald parkeren, trek maar gerust 20 a 30 minuten ervoor uit, ook bij ophalen. Kaart wisselt niet vaak, af en toe iets anders, vergelijkbaar met MacDonalds, smaak bepalend. Prijzen zijn behoorlijk omhoog gegaan. 10.11.2025

Slechte service. De dubbele wopper smaakte niet zo als anders. Personeel naam bestelling op van iemand die helemaal voordrong in de rij. Daar moest ik wat van zeggen. Interesseert personeel niet.

Prima deals maar andere burgerkings zijn beter, geen fijne sfeer en bij deze bk kan je niet frisdrank bijvullen.

Normaal schrijf ik geen fast food reviews maar ik wilde dit toch even kwijt. Ik bestelde eten voor mij en m’n vrouw, bij het ophalen vielen door mijn schuld 2 bekers drinken om, de man met de zwarte hoofddoek en bril achter de kassa was heel begripvol en behulpzaam. Samen met zijn collega pakten ze het heel rustig op en ging alles prima. Dikke complimenten voor deze twee, service zoals dit zie je niet zoveel meer. Eten was verder prima 👍🏽

Burger King is gewoon tien keer lekkerder dan de Mac.

Deze vestiging wad precies wat je van een burger king verwacht. Het wachten op ons eten duurde iets langer dan normaal, ongeveer 25 minuten. We hadden een relatief grote bestelling en toch was alles warm en zaten alle items erbij. Daarnaast werden de loaded fries hier veel 'voller' geserveerd dan in andere vestigingen. Het bakje was royaal gevuld. Wij raden de big king xxl burger aan voor de grote eters. Ook de crispy chicken burger was erg lekker. Wij gebruiken altijd de burger King app, dat scheelt enorm veel geld. Een menu is met de app vaak onder de 8 euro, erg goedkoop dus!

Moet het hebben van de burgers (vergelijken met Mac). Zoals vaak bij BK eindeloos wachten op bestelling. Het drinken bij het KidsMenu werd vergeten en het 'speeltje ' was nog tev WK22... En het restaurant ansich, daar is al sinds de opening niets aan veranderd. Zeer minimaal.

Wel goeie eten had een extra whopper dr bij omdat ik een enquête had gedaan helaas was het wel naast de treinen die reden maar ja maakt toch ni uit eten was geweldig dus

Bestelde bacon friet maar ze waren helaas koud en slap viel erg tegen en zat weinig kaas saus op.

De burgers en de desserts waren goed van smaak. Temperatuur kon beter. Van de nuggets moet je echter afblijven. Die zijn droog en smaakloos.

Het is en blijft een fastfood-keten. Daarom is een vier het uiterst haalbare. Het eten was goed en niks op aan te merken en de service was prima. Voor de snelle hap raad ik het zeker aan! Vergeet niet om de "Burger King NL" app te downloaden voor scherpe kortingen.

Due to heavy #renovation of the #trainstation 🚄 @groningen this #hideaway is best accessible via main entrance or busstation area.. Service is good manageable but I think rush houres and holidays might be very tight...😆
