McDonald's Groningen Sontplein in Zuidoost

My order was missing all sorts of things. I called, and they offered to make it right by offering me a free menu. I received a letter about this in my email. When I tried to go to McDonald's again two months later, I apparently had to print out the letter and was refused entry. As if someone always carries a letter like that. A big "1" for the manager and the customer service.

Got 5 Chili Chickens in the McDrive instead of a Big Tasty and 6 spicy McGunnets. Not good. Unfortunately, I found out when I got home. Next time, please check before you order instead of blindly giving.

Nice cozy McDonald's we were there when it was very busy

Excellent service. Today (15-12-25) I received excellent service from a manager. First, he helped me scan the app, which I couldn't do at the terminal. I ordered a Friends menu (special offer item) and was asked which character I wanted, and he went to check if they had it for me. Previously, I was also helped well by a nice woman. I was missing an item (mini apple pies). She brought it to my table and included an extra! I'm very pleased with the service here!

Wow, what a terrible McDonald's. The staff is just standing around doing nothing, having the greatest laugh with each other. Your order is delivered cold. When you get your new order, it looks like everything has been thrown on it. The cheese is more on the side of the bun than on it. The sauce is more on the paper than on the burger. A bit of a shame. A quick bite quickly turned into an hour. And I don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon.

First time here, lots of young people and it was a mess. Dirty tables, the floor was covered in trash.

After a visit to IKEA, we ate there in the car, through the MCdrive, and ordered a Meastro truffle and a Chicken Sensation menu with a small shake and fries sauce. All for €25. The food was cold, the Meastro didn't look like the pictures, and the Chicken Sensation was broken in the box. The fries were cold and chewy, and there was no fries sauce in the bag. The best part was the vanilla shake; it was a real shame. Never again.

Scammers! Compared to the recommended prices, Henk Sijtsma's prices are on average a whopping 50% more expensive. For example, small fries are recommended at €2.10, Henk's at €3.85. What a...

Change Bigmac to Smallmac. The pickles are now thicker than the burger.

That's also nice. If you order around 9:00 PM, your food never arrives, you check the app an hour later, and the order is pushed back to 10:30 AM the next day. Why are you still taking orders through Thuisbezorgd if you don't deliver after 10:00 PM? (Suddenly closed on the website.) By the way, your Google page says you're open until 1:00 AM...

The staff was very friendly and their behavior was excellent.

I was a bit early for an appointment so I thought I'd grab an iced coffee from the McDrive. It was 8pm and I had to wait almost 20 minutes, damn, not very 'fast food'.

Less quantity compared to the other McDonald’s for the same price!

The food was lukewarm. Young people (14-15 years old) were sitting there, rude to the staff and other customers. When they left, everything was thrown off the table and onto the floor. The staff didn't say anything and just cleaned everything up, seemingly trying to say something to the young people. A bit of a shame. Please provide staff who actually do something about it! I'll skip this McDonald's from now on.

It will be great that a completely new building will be built for the atmosphere and staff.

The food tastes better and is cheaper than in Germany.

The food was delicious and hot. We ordered 8 chicken nuggets instead of the 9 we requested, and we received a whole 9 nuggets instead. The staff were friendly.

The quality of this McDonald's has really deteriorated. I've already received the wrong order at the drive-through three times in a short period.

I've had it delivered twice via Thuisbezorgd and ordered a Big Arch menu twice. And then they forgot to include fries twice. And then you have to deal with Thuisbezorgd yourself if you can't go there.

This is honestly the best mac and cheese I've ever had. The fries were hot and crispy, the wrap was generously filled, and there was a really sweet man cleaning the tables. 10/10

We will not deliver your order if it is ordered 15 minutes before closing time.

On Monday, October 13th, at 10:35 PM, I ordered a cheeseburger outside at table 701 via my order. Then a young man with glasses came and threw it right on the table. Unbelievable, never had such bad service!

Delicious DE coffee and an American Cookie

It was busy, so we had to wait in line and drive. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly.

I often come here, waiting for my order while the staff stands around chatting and doing nothing in the kitchen. I saw my order, but nobody looked at it and it arrived 10 minutes later. Cold, disgusting food, and unfriendly staff. It wasn't even busy.

It's still an energy crisis at McDonald's. Tried to eat here again after a while, but it's the same as every other time. The fries are still limp and cold when they're served. The burger was also cold. At FEBO, the products are much hotter than they were at the store! The price is way too high for the quality.

Waited more than half an hour for 3 cheeseburgers and 2 small fries, while the restaurant was almost empty.

The strawberry ice cream tasted like cream and jam, with a really nasty texture. We sat down at a table, and under it was a thick layer of grease and dust, and the benches were filthy too. Absolutely disgusting, I'll never go back. I didn't dare touch the handle of the trash can.

A very well-appointed McDonald's, simply fast, tasty, friendly service, and atmospheric. Clean, restrooms are okay. It's a pleasure to eat.

11 a.m. on a Sunday, I get it, but waiting 20 minutes for an order at a fast food restaurant without being full is really long... too bad, but thank the employee for at least holding out. So, you do the math: more than a 15-minute wait. For some reason, the breakfast burgers are really small these days.

Cold fries, the receipt said toys, but they were gone... I forgot to scan it, and they can't change that! Paid for plastic cups, too bad I forgot! I deleted the app immediately.

We went to McDonald's in Groningen Sontplein in the evening because we were still a little hungry. We shared a Happy Meal between the two of us. Everything else was really expensive compared to Germany. The cheeseburger looked completely slapped together. Shortly before 9:00 p.m. on a Saturday, all the chairs were stacked up, even though the place is open 24 hours. Nobody was cleaning at the time either.

Well M. What child doesn't want that?

Sweet helpful staff, 3 year old niece was allowed to tap an ice cream herself and received an ice cream diploma, super sweet!!!!

Bad McDonald's. First, my chicken nuggets were missing. When I went back to report them, the bag was snatched from my hand by an arrogant girl who didn't believe me because she'd put them in herself. I got a new box with seven of them in it, but I had to return it. A manager helped me kindly. Finally, the McDonald's chicken was burnt at the bottom of the bun. I won't be coming back here again. Ugh...

I love going there, easy parking. Kids are happy, so am I, and the service is great. My little one had Pokemon cards. The package was open and immediately resolved.

This is the second time I've picked up something at the drive-through at this McDonald's, only to discover when I get home that not everything is in the bag as ordered... Next time, I'll check if everything is in there before I leave...

I ordered ninety croquettes, and they were delicious, but my blood sugar shot up so much that I needed a bucket of insulin to drain the fluid from my ankles. When I finished, a staff member shot me in the back of my neck. A great experience. I would recommend it.

Food and drinks from McDonald's are fine. Personally, I liked the atmosphere of "the past" better. It lacks the fun atmosphere for children. Think it's too soon now. Staff could show a little more enthusiasm and interest. You now have a number of employees who talk as if they don't care and everything takes too much effort. Very annoying and does not improve the atmosphere.

Ordered a large milkshake, eventually received a medium size after insisting, but it was neatly resolved. But once I got home, the milkshake didn't taste good, there was too much syrup in it.

Clean and efficient. I ordered a full breakfast, which came with juice, coffee, muffin and croissant.

Good McDonald's. We ate in the restaurant. All the dishes were good, hot, and tasty.

Definitely one of the McDonald's ever

If you order gluten-free, you have to wait longer than everyone else. My order was delivered, and I still had to wait a bit. I still find that a remarkable phenomenon. You eat together, to eat together. It's great that Groningen finally has a gluten-free option.

Personally, I find it very antisocial when I am eating on the terrace that staff members start smoking

I was there with my daughter and her son. He was allowed to have an ice cream too. A very sweet woman who works there came over and said he could come along and try his hand at pouring ice cream. I even got to go along and take a picture. Afterward, he even got a nice certificate for it. It was really wonderful that this was allowed and that she made time for it!

Very good fast food restaurant.

Had a great time, just very disappointed. You pay €4.05 for a McFlurry, but they still give you €0.41 for an ice cream. You get very little for your money. The service was decent, though.

No spices, no salt on the fries, and no napkins. A little less personal, less, and young people who think they can enhance the atmosphere by unashamedly sitting there like farmers

McDrive Sontplein? Truly terrible. Never had an order that was correct. Something's always missing, or you get something you didn't order. And what do you get if you complain? An ice cream. As if that makes up for the mistake. They don't learn from it, because it keeps going wrong. No apologies, no improvement, just frustration. This isn't service, this is mismanagement.

Things are forgotten here way too often. Menu without fries, Happy meal without nuggets..maybe I just forget too often...

They hire 16 year old kids because they get paid less and because they are inexperienced, there are problems with the orders.

This is what you get in your wrap. The complaint was unprofessionally handled by the manager and employees (you are told that this is normal). The receipt was unreadable. This is funny.

Standard McDonalds that you basically see everywhere. Stopped by for a quick little snack. It was nice and quiet, probably because it was on a Wednesday afternoon. The toilets were clean, the food was hot (which isn’t always the case at McDonalds…). Located near the highway and and gas station, so that definitely is quite handy. Plenty of free parking spots (max. 1 hour!).

It's not often that the food at McDonalds is really hot, but that is certainly the case at this location, great!

It's very funny, you have a selection of drinks that you don't know in Germany. 10 different lemonade and other citizens like in De. The mayonnaise is with herbs and not a regular one. You have a bitter aftertaste But it was really nice.

There was an error during my order, I walk to the cash register manager who is talking there. I stood there for 10 minutes the manager and cashier looked at me and continued their conversation.

Just been to this Mac Donalds and once again they forgot the sauce, ordered a medium fries, what was in it was perhaps even too little for a small fries, we had to stand on hold and our food was almost literally thrown in. Last time our food was cold. I do not recommend this Mac Donalds!

Too often we get the wrong order and way too often they give the meat version when veggie was ordered. Check your food before leaving! Lesson learned the hard way.

fries lukewarm, a lot of money for bad food. Had to wait 20 minutes because someone arrived with a bag of coins. Are you standing there in the exhaust fumes? You'll live opposite McDonald's... smelly cars in front of your house day and night.

Just another McDonald, nothing special You place your order, wait for it and then you can eat it in a few hours and you will be hungry again.

The food is fine, what you can expect from McDonald's. Unfortunately, standard items are forgotten, both when ordering and when ordering in the restaurant. Staff is disinterested and doesn't seem to have much interest in the work. Shame.

This McDonald's is always pleasantly busy, which creates a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, it can sometimes be so busy that service suffers. Today the soft drink was served without ice, and the carbon dioxide content was very low. Understandable if it is rush hour and there is no ice, but it would be nice if this was indicated when serving. Furthermore, excellent food as you would expect from McDonald's. A big plus is the spacious car park directly in front of the door, where you can park for free for the first hour. Very handy!

Ordered 3 cheeseburgers, chicken 9 and twister fries. Ordered Twisterfries large but unfortunately got small. Shame!

The seating areas were really dirty, the tables that had no food on them were stained and they were not cleaned up/cleaned, it was as if they did not see it.

Order placed at the ordering column, receipt illegible. Called a service employee who told us it would be fine. Order received with far too few fries, ordered a plastic cup and paid extra for it, but then received it in a cardboard cup. Called a service employee again, got some extra fries and that plastic cup was such a stupid thing for this person to bullshit in that I gave up, resulting in a bad review and so I will never go there again. Big goodbye to this McDonald's branch! How bad!

100 percent chance that they will forget something from your order. Cold food, receiving large menus even though you said "no, a normal menu" 3 times. Time and time again and for years, this has been, in my opinion, the worst Mac in the Netherlands.
