We came today with my sisters and mother and had a wonderful time. Claudia's service was outstanding; she was incredibly attentive and kind. Kudos to these employees; we felt very comfortable speaking in Spanish.

Was a good surprise in the city, needed something quick but filling for lunch and this was it. Everything freshly made, the fries were super crisp (garlic sauce was great!) and the burguer was very well made, juicy n well seasoned. Staff there was also very kind and attentive! Def recommend.

Ordered an Amsterdam Dog (hot dog). The bread was cold, the sausage tasted like it had been reheated. The fries weren't warm inside, they were raw. It's simply not worth it. I was left with a bad feeling after eating there. I can't recommend it.

What really stood out was the staff—they are incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a nice chat about football and the weather while we waited. Highly recommend Burger Zaken!

Delicious burgers at absolutely fair prices! The beer was perfectly poured! Unfortunately, the waiter was very overwhelmed… both orders were wrong. The atmosphere by the water was actually nice, but the two very loud street dealers were really annoying…

We came here with our kids. Burgers and hot dogs were 5/5. Super delicious. Super fast service. Special requests were accommodated. Even the open front door wasn't a problem.

Irish in Amsterdam, great spot

The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. The staff were all very friendly. However, I can't recommend it to anyone because the entrance door has to be left open at all times. We specifically asked and were told that the door couldn't be closed. This meant we had to eat in our winter jackets. It was 1 degree Celsius outside and not much warmer inside, and there was a constant draft. As a restaurant, you should simply close the entrance door.

Very bad, they lied to us since we’re tourists. The burgers with spicy jalapeños are supposed to be €0.50 but they charged us €1.50 for each. They also charged us for two side sauces but they brought only one( €1.00 ) and when we talked to the Egyptian waiter he said it was by mistake on the bill and said he’ll pay us back but he pretended that he forgot when we left.

The burger is surprisingly really good! I came here with my wife based on reviews as we were both craving a good burger! The smash burgers are juicy, tender, fresh and has many choices of sauces and condiments. We also ordered the crispy chicken to try it, and it was very tender and flavorful! The terrace outside is heated. I highly recommend it.

2 beers and a fries cost around 16 euros. I liked it, nice place. Clean and fast.

We were passing by and decided to sit on the terrace, next to the canal and...we were right on target!!! The burgers and the chicken tapa were delicious. The value for money is very good considering it's in the Red Light District. Very nice and attentive staff. The drinks are what you get for your money, but like in all of Amsterdam.

Negative experience here tonight. When asked for a glass of tap water (virtually no charge for the restaurant), they gave me a bottle that wasn't even cold. I asked them how much, and they said 3,9 euro. I gave it back to them and instead asked to have my water bottle refilled with water. They got very upset and said I can't just choose to not pay. They could have politely declined, but I felt they were rude about it. Next, my boyfriend ordered the holland smash burger, which in the menu says it comes with two pattys since it labeled as a "double smash burger with...". But it came with one patty. Now this wouldn't be too big of an issue, but for some more context I ordered the single smash burger. When we both had our orders and tried pointing this out, they tried saying MINE was my boyfriend's burger... trying to trick us? Not sure. But either way they both had one patty when one of them should have had two. He then left after saying my burger was switched and never addressed it again. After this interaction with the server and some confusion amongst ourselves, we looked over and noticed a couple talking negatively about us. We could tell by body language. I felt very awkward in the restaurant and just wanted to pay and leave. In the end we explained it to another colleague and he kindly adjusted the charges. I know there's a language barrier and mistakes happen, but I felt uncomfortable and out of place here because of these interactions. I will say though, these seemed like well intended people and the food was pretty good. I just wish I could have enjoyed my experience better.

In the beginning we didn’t know for sure if we wanted to eat there, but by the workers presentation (the guy in the middle of the picture) charmingly welcomed us and assured that we will have the best burger in town(and we absolutely did). The food was not the only great thing. The customer service made us feel welcomed and everyone had a smile on their face. The general vibe and the enthusiasm of the employees about their quality of their food and your stay at the restaurant. When you leave, you don’t only leave with a full stomach but with new friends.

The fries were okay. However, the service was incredibly slow. It took forever for our table to even be cleaned. When our food finally arrived, we were missing cutlery. We asked the server for a fork, but he just pulled one out of his pocket. It was truly disgusting. We wouldn't go there again!

Decent Black Angus Beef Burger, which would be nicer if more flavourful toppings were added and if the bun was not roasted till it turns almost black. The chips, however, were delicious and delighted with the right amount of crispiness. The garlic dip was loaded with garlicy goodness. I was fortunate to have grabbed a table next to the canal and enjoyed both people watching and atmosphere a lot. Would return for the chips anytime.
