Simply not to be missed if you are spending a weekend in Amsterdam

I’ve been there and I dare say that was one of the best experiences regarding gastronomic concerns and i really felt super welcome specially with Guillermo who gave me a warm and lovely attention and his eye for detail is what it makes of this a wonderful worthwhile place to go.

Delicious and good value for money. The burger, fries, and onion rings were large and tasty.

Unfriendly service; I was seated at a small table in the corner of an empty restaurant with excessively loud music. The burger tasted absolutely awful. Very disappointing; I took a bite and couldn't swallow it.

The meat on the plate was quite tasteless, but the toppings were fine. The service was friendly. Reasonably well priced for central Amsterdam.

The smashburger here is superb. Came on a super soft bun and the fabreik sauce is really good. Truffle mayo for the fries is excellent. 2nd time in Amsterdamn, and came here both times, does not disappoint. My daughter truly enjoyed the loaded fries with cheese and shredded bbq beef (and she is a picky eater)

I had the gluten free Mexican burger. It was very good. I enjoyed it very much. The bun was oat flour. It was soft and tasty.

A huge thank you to Guillermo and Georges for their warm welcome and excellent service despite the late hour. We were pampered from start to finish. A truly excellent chef when it comes to the food!

Super friendly staff, specially Anna, the food is amazing, vegetarian options and prices are very good for the center of Amsterdam.

We've been here a few times and had a lovely meal. This time the meal was lovely but we didnt realise that the servers had added extra drinks to our order that we didnt have and we were charged for. We didnt think to check the bill, which is our own fault but as we've had no problems here we were very trusting. I wanted to warn anyone else to check as I dont know if this is something they do here if they think you're a tourist. Its really ruined the evening.

10 minutes we were seated and wait, nobody didnt come close to take an order, Finally A gentleman when noticed his colleagues didnt take an order approached us to take an order, he was very gentle. The price is high for the quality they serve, specially the hot dog, the bread was dry. And additionally, WC was dirty.

Very friendly staff, clean environment and it was a pleasure because I met Italian waiters who were able to advise me for the best. I took two types of French fries, the ones I liked the most were the ones with the cheese topping. It is recommended to avoid the French fries with the meat topping.

The food was fantastic. The garlic sauce was truly amazing. The Japanese and Dutch burgers were excellent. The pulled pork sandwich was really something special. The sweet potato fries were perfect. The service was very good, child-friendly, and they fulfilled our every wish. We will definitely come back when we are in Amsterdam again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The best burgers in Amsterdam are in the Red Light district. And I had one, the Dutch burger, at Burger Fabriek. And the beer was great, too.

Very nice place in the center of Amsterdam. The Italian staff is kind, friendly, and helpful. The French Hamburger is spectacular! A must-try burger if you come to Amsterdam.

Food was insane, triple mini burgers were fantastic to try the different beef patties without three different burgers and the devil dog was massive. Their regular fries give the rest of the places a run for their money and whilst I didn't have the loaded fries, they're an option and from what I saw they also looked incredible.

The burgers were very tasty, but unfortunately the patty was well done. I should have asked for it to be cooked medium when ordering, and the sauce was a bit too greasy/oily. Otherwise, everything was really good.

We found this place just walking about in Amsterdam, glad we did as the food was so so good. And reasonably priced. Will fill you up for most the day without needing to snack. Definitely find this place and eat there if you can.

The prices here are ridiculous. I thought, "Once and never again." And that's literally true now. After two glasses of cola, I just wanted tap water, but they refused it even though I was willing to pay for it. Luckily, the overpriced food was already gone, so we immediately got up to pay the bill and went on our way to get dessert somewhere else. We won't be coming back.

What disgusting, disgusting burgers. A soft bun with a tasteless piece of meat. There was butter on the bun instead of sauce. Many people left their food untouched. The restaurant was freezing. People were eating inside with their coats on. Disgusting food!!!

Excellent burger (double smash) and fries. It's a shame they only offer one homemade sauce. We arrived around 6 pm and they weren't yet full, so the service was very quick.

EXCELLENT. If you want a good burger, this is definitely a great place to do it. The buns are large, generous, and above all, delicious. The fries are superb! If you're in Amsterdam and hungry, this is the place to go.

They forgot our order, even though we only asked for one fry for two people. No toilets and no napkins when you're served.

Disappointed by the experience. The decor is nice, but there's no particular atmosphere. The service is really lacking: the servers are unfriendly, bordering on rude. We waited an hour for our hamburgers, which is far too long, especially since there was no apology or compensation for the wait. The fries are frozen and frankly not good. As for the burgers, we ordered the Double Smash, the Mexican Burger, and the Triple Smash Burger: they were all okay, but nothing special. The Double Smash is clearly bland and not worth the price. In the end, it's expensive for what it is. It's a shame, because the concept had potential. I should mention that it was January 1st, so there might have been a staff shortage.

I've never eaten such a successful hamburger patty. The meat was incredibly juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the bread and the hamburger toppings. Except for the caramelized onions, all the other garnishes were unnecessary. The first thing that stands out about the place is the lack of seating. Unfortunately, the passageways are very narrow, and you bump into each other as you go. Also, they initially wouldn't let us in, but when we explained that we were tired and could wait inside until the other customers left, they understood and allowed us to sit down. Yes, the quality is incredible, especially in terms of meat cooking, but there are things that could be improved; after all, we're paying serious money.

I visited this restaurant and was honestly very disappointed. One of the staff members, a blonde woman, was rude to several customers and continued making comments even after they were seated, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Just before we were about to order, we noticed her coughing near the food, which raised serious hygiene concerns. We decided to leave without ordering. Overall, a very disappointing experience due to poor service and lack of professionalism.

Wosrt burguer place in Amsterdam. Don’t go HERE! Their customer service is the worst.

It might not be the most typical Amsterdam spot; you could be anywhere. Even so, the service is quick and efficient. You can order via QR code, and although they only had one high chair, it was available. The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable. Overall, everything was good.

The staff is not attentive to customers, the potatoes seemed old to the taste, the burger had fresh ingredients, it was not worth the money, 38€ in addition, the place was cold and the door was open at the entrance

Iulian is a waiter from Romania who works there. He was very attentive and took our order very fast. He made our experience very pleasant. The food is also delicious. Definitely recommend!!!! Update December 2025. We got the smash burger. Absolutely delicious. Amazing burger; we also had loaded fries. It was very nice. Still highly recommend to go there!!

Good burger but somewhat overpriced.

I had dinner there one day and went back the next. The burgers were amazing and the fries were spectacular, with a great variety of sauces. I tried the smash and the hollandaise. I'll definitely be back when I return.

Was visiting Amsterdam while studying abroad and decided to give this place a try. Dutch Burger was delicious, service was friendly, and even gave me a free glass of water because I looked thirsty 😂 would definitely come back - love Burgerfabriek and Amsterdam!

Tuna salad was ok, just canned but fine. But the burger buns were unfortunately pretty dry...and the meat wasn't seasoned at all. Fries where also fine. But the quality of the burgers didn't match the prices. Pretty disappointing.

We sat right by the door. We repeated our order five times, and it still arrived wrong. Unfortunately, it was clear the food wasn't of good quality. Taste-wise, it was no better than McDonald's.

We ordered burgers with fries here, which were not too bad. A few key things: you pay for a brioche bun that is much bigger than the burger itself, the online ordering system did not work, and when I tried to share the issue with the waitress, she just said “I don’t care.” The staff were very rude overall. The fries were good though. I feel like this kind of rudeness might be a local thing, but here it was incredibly bad, we actually started laughing about the situation because it was unbelievable.

You can eat so delicious burger in this restaurant, there was so much variety in the menu. I ate a dutch hamburger with fries and a BBQ sauce, it took nearly 20€, I think the price was a bit high. Also the burger was a bit dry but it’s spice was so balanced.

Yummy! Yummy! A good place to have some burgers. I tried burgers in a lot of places and this is one of my favorite place now We’ve got chef’s platter which comes with two smashed burgers, some mozzarella sticks and some hot wings and fries. Everything was so delicious Staff is very friendly, they make us to feel welcomed I really enjoyed this restaurant and I totally recommend to visit it if you’re in Amsterdam

For a burger joint, the burgers aren't that good. They're okay, edible, but we expected a lot more. The meat was overcooked and dry.

Olha and the guys made us feel very welcome when we arrived.. Chefs platter hit the spot with 2x smashing smashed burgers and some wings and mozzarella sticks with dips to boot. Just what we needed!!
