Beautiful place... beautiful experience...

They forgot our order, even though we only asked for one fry for two people. No toilets and no napkins when you're served.

Disappointed by the experience. The decor is nice, but there's no particular atmosphere. The service is really lacking: the servers are unfriendly, bordering on rude. We waited an hour for our hamburgers, which is far too long, especially since there was no apology or compensation for the wait. The fries are frozen and frankly not good. As for the burgers, we ordered the Double Smash, the Mexican Burger, and the Triple Smash Burger: they were all okay, but nothing special. The Double Smash is clearly bland and not worth the price. In the end, it's expensive for what it is. It's a shame, because the concept had potential. I should mention that it was January 1st, so there might have been a staff shortage.

I've never eaten such a successful hamburger patty. The meat was incredibly juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the bread and the hamburger toppings. Except for the caramelized onions, all the other garnishes were unnecessary. The first thing that stands out about the place is the lack of seating. Unfortunately, the passageways are very narrow, and you bump into each other as you go. Also, they initially wouldn't let us in, but when we explained that we were tired and could wait inside until the other customers left, they understood and allowed us to sit down. Yes, the quality is incredible, especially in terms of meat cooking, but there are things that could be improved; after all, we're paying serious money.

I visited this restaurant and was honestly very disappointed. One of the staff members, a blonde woman, was rude to several customers and continued making comments even after they were seated, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Just before we were about to order, we noticed her coughing near the food, which raised serious hygiene concerns. We decided to leave without ordering. Overall, a very disappointing experience due to poor service and lack of professionalism.

Wosrt burguer place in Amsterdam. Don’t go HERE! Their customer service is the worst.

It might not be the most typical Amsterdam spot; you could be anywhere. Even so, the service is quick and efficient. You can order via QR code, and although they only had one high chair, it was available. The food was delicious, and the price was reasonable. Overall, everything was good.

The staff is not attentive to customers, the potatoes seemed old to the taste, the burger had fresh ingredients, it was not worth the money, 38€ in addition, the place was cold and the door was open at the entrance

Iulian is a waiter from Romania who works there. He was very attentive and took our order very fast. He made our experience very pleasant. The food is also delicious. Definitely recommend!!!! Update December 2025. We got the smash burger. Absolutely delicious. Amazing burger; we also had loaded fries. It was very nice. Still highly recommend to go there!!

Good burger but somewhat overpriced.

I had dinner there one day and went back the next. The burgers were amazing and the fries were spectacular, with a great variety of sauces. I tried the smash and the hollandaise. I'll definitely be back when I return.

Was visiting Amsterdam while studying abroad and decided to give this place a try. Dutch Burger was delicious, service was friendly, and even gave me a free glass of water because I looked thirsty 😂 would definitely come back - love Burgerfabriek and Amsterdam!

Tuna salad was ok, just canned but fine. But the burger buns were unfortunately pretty dry...and the meat wasn't seasoned at all. Fries where also fine. But the quality of the burgers didn't match the prices. Pretty disappointing.

We sat right by the door. We repeated our order five times, and it still arrived wrong. Unfortunately, it was clear the food wasn't of good quality. Taste-wise, it was no better than McDonald's.

We ordered burgers with fries here, which were not too bad. A few key things: you pay for a brioche bun that is much bigger than the burger itself, the online ordering system did not work, and when I tried to share the issue with the waitress, she just said “I don’t care.” The staff were very rude overall. The fries were good though. I feel like this kind of rudeness might be a local thing, but here it was incredibly bad, we actually started laughing about the situation because it was unbelievable.

You can eat so delicious burger in this restaurant, there was so much variety in the menu. I ate a dutch hamburger with fries and a BBQ sauce, it took nearly 20€, I think the price was a bit high. Also the burger was a bit dry but it’s spice was so balanced.

Yummy! Yummy! A good place to have some burgers. I tried burgers in a lot of places and this is one of my favorite place now We’ve got chef’s platter which comes with two smashed burgers, some mozzarella sticks and some hot wings and fries. Everything was so delicious Staff is very friendly, they make us to feel welcomed I really enjoyed this restaurant and I totally recommend to visit it if you’re in Amsterdam

Olha and the guys made us feel very welcome when we arrived.. Chefs platter hit the spot with 2x smashing smashed burgers and some wings and mozzarella sticks with dips to boot. Just what we needed!! Came here multiple days in a row, right down the street from our hotel. The burger sauce is so good. The double Smash burger is so juicy and delicious. The parmesan loaded fries were the perfect late night snack.

A halal restaurant with great food, especially the burgers. The staff is extremely helpful and helpful. It's worth a visit again. Some customers were disrespectful for reasons beyond their control, but they were okay with it, just annoying others.

I've had their Burgerfabriek burger. Compared to the patty and the toppings inside, the bun was really small and made eating the burger hard. I had to use a knife and a fork to finish it eventually. It tasted really good though.

Been coming to burger fabriek for years. Whenever I come to Amsterdam I just love their juicy burgers. Recently discovered their wings too which are amazing. Highly recommend.

We came as two people, ordered the same thing, a double smashburger, and added bacon. The burger is good, the sauce is delicious, juicy, and balanced. The bun could be better, and the meat would have been a little more expensive with a more chargrilled grill. There were some more pretentious options that weren't worth it. The atmosphere was nice, and the beer was delicious. Recommended

Small but very nice place in industrial style. The waitresses were very friendly and kind. We liked the two burgers we ate, soft bread and well stuffed. Even the sauces were dosed just right in our opinion. Prices in line with the rest of the city.

After my visit to BF Nieuwendijk I also had to visit the original BurgerFabriek. I didn't know it could get any better, but this restaurant proved me wrong. Great food, with a beer tap on the wall: what more do you need?

5 stars - Highly recommended! I was looking for a good burger while on vacation - and I more than found it here! The food was simply perfect: The burger was juicy, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. The meat was grilled to perfection, and the bun was fluffy. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed - just right for a vacation. You can immediately tell that the food is cooked with love. For me, this was by far the best burger of my vacation. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Holland!
