The burger is decent and while the fries are soft and not very crispy.

Delicious burgers made with top-quality meat, very juicy and grilled to a perfect medium. The chicken popcorn was also very tasty and crispy. Highly recommended for a quick bite.

The food is delicious, but there are extremely long queues. I recommend going before it gets too busy.

The smash burger was dried but yet delicious. The fries is perfect, the onion rings was ok and the pop corn spicy good as well. The sauces are very small. And the cola was hot.

So enjoyable ourv2nd trip into Amsterdam this year and visited twice on each trip....super Moy!!!!

Had forgot about my order took 45 minutes. And what I got was fully cold, not even toasted wrap, not what was advertised. Would not recommend. Meat also cooked well done not medium and they used a burger patty not the Angus steak which was what I ordered. Also didn’t remove the tomato which I requested

the meat quality is a main highlight of their burgers, along with their sauce. although it is on the pricier side for a burger, i would come back here occasionally for a well-crafted burger. i recommend getting their sweet potato fries as a side. service was a little slow but understandable since it was a busy hour. overall great experience!!

We ordered two single-meat smash burgers. The smash wasn't very good (no caramelization). The buns were soft but served cold, which unfortunately made the burgers seem cold. Very expensive (€45 for two), especially considering the fries were frozen. We think we saw a staff member re-tabling products in the refrigerators. Not great. Not enough sauce in the paid portions.

The burger was salty and below my expectations. I asked for added jalapeños, but I ended up removing them because of the overwhelming amount they piled on.

We couldn't believe we waited more than 15 minutes and our order was just forgotten. After the order was missed, we went back to confirm...and they couldn't even remember the nickname we entered...🙄

It was a good burger, although the fries could have been better, especially considering we're in Amsterdam…

The rudest waiters I’ve ever come across. Refused to serve me, said I had to use the screen. When I said they dont sell beer on the screen he shrugged and said order food there, then come here and order beer. The other women behind the counter ignored me completely. Awful.

This location keeps messing up orders, forgetting half the items, and they have no solutions to offer either. Avoid ordering here!

Average American burger nothing special

I was in a hurry because I had a plane to catch and there were quite a few people ahead of me at the only working ordering kiosk. Honestly, just go for it! Right after placing my order, I barely waited. I got my vegetarian burger to go and… what a treat!! The plant-based sandwich substitute was really delicious, slightly fried. I highly recommend it. Plus, the staff was friendly and had a great vibe. I can't wait for THE BUTCHER to arrive in France!

Elevated fast food burgers and stuff, excellent food.

The kitchen is extremely disorganized — every customer keeps coming back to the counter with complaints or missing parts of their order. The food has no salt, so make sure to ask for extra. My order took 40 minutes, which I find excessive even for a regular restaurant, and this place is supposed to be fast food.

We ate there. It's not particularly cheap, nor is it fast. The place is very noisy and we were all crammed in. It's fine for a quick bite, but keep in mind that it's not cheap.

Unfortunately, our experience at THE BUTCHER wasn't very pleasant. We had to wait a very long time for our order, and the music was a bit too loud for our taste. The burgers were okay and filling.

The atmosphere is modern. We ordered a classic meat sandwich and a vegetarian sandwich, both of which were spectacular. The sweet potato fries and fried onion rings were equally impressive. I highly recommend it!

It's enough to satisfy your hunger. The burgers taste okay, but are way too salty. The strawberry milkshake tastes like the one from the well-known brand, and everyone there seems confused. When I picked up my milkshake, I asked if I should sit down again or wait at the counter. The only answer I got was, "In a minute." Whatever that's supposed to mean...

The food is delicious. The place is crowded, but there's seating inside along the corridor. Don't order ketchup; it's €0.80 and the last item is smaller than a water bottle cap.

I usually don’t mind waiting for my food when places are busy but goddamn man. They for sure be playing favouritism to certain orders. How does 15 other orders come before mine. And even after waiting an excruciating 40 minutes, yall still got them orders wrong. My burger had completely no sauce with tomatoes when the only thing I asked for was no tomatoes. Also how do you get a medium well order and manage to drain the living juice out of the patty. And damn bro how do u forget the milkshakes, I approached them nicely when they forgot. He took the receipt and still got them wrong. Poor guy probably crashed out but still. I think it’s time to get these people a watch and glasses.

Smash Burger had cold patties. My fries were sitting 25 minutes unter the heat light until I got them. Felt like I was in jail waiting for my food. Took half an hour to prepare. Everything on disposables. Would not go again.

One of the slowest burger places I’ve ever been to. I ordered a burger and waited over 15 minutes, but nothing came. I ended up leaving after paying and getting no food. The staff said it was busy, but there were maybe ten people inside – half of them also waiting. Definitely avoid if you’re expecting 'fast' food.

Not worth a visit at all. The place is not clean. I went to praise the famous Snapchatter Bassam London. They use their hands without gloves for no reason. Cleanliness at all. I do not advise anyone to come there, honestly.

I appreciate the taste of the burgers. However, my only concern that leads me to assign a lower rating is the observation that, although staff members wear gloves for hygiene purposes, they subsequently reuse the same gloves to handle receipts, garbage bags, and food. This practice is quite unhygienic. It would be best for staff to use a new set of gloves when handling non-food items.

Hands down the best smash burger I’ve ever had! The Butcher has an excellent atmosphere, with quick, professional service and some of the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. Food was great. But, the person who was assembling the burger kept making our burgers wrong. When I say Im allergic to something, you should not just remove it and hand back the same sandwich. Anyways, in the end the burger was alright.

We were in Amsterdam 4 days and we came here 3 times because this was the best hamburger in my life! Great bun and the hamburger was amazing, super juicy! Everything we ate was incredible, even the bbq sauce! Prices are on average. Guys I think I’m in love with you 🥲

Everything was perfect. The Turkish guy’s attitude was also incredibly friendly and helpful. The members of the staff and burgers won’t disappoint you.

We tried the Butcher Smash Cheese Burger, and it was delicious. It pairs well with sweet potatoes. Bekir, the owner, is very helpful with orders, etc. You should definitely try it.

I think it's expensive. The meat is good, but there's no table service. The potatoes are just decent. In short, it's not worth repeating.

Organizational disaster. They give out more than one number for the same order. They cause very long waits. It's not worth it.

I was extremely satisfied with the restaurant, the service, the kindness, and the cheerfulness. Excellent organization, like ordering at a McDonald's, but with great quality and flavor. Highly recommended. Learn from them; they're great in the industry.

I understand that this place is probably a perfect storm of tourist/inflationary pricing, but 50 Euro for 2 burgers, 1 fry, 1 onion ring, and 2 canned sodas is wild to me when it tastes like Burger King except on a nicer roll. Maybe I got the wrong thing, but my smash burger was just 2 really thin patties that reminded me of the fast food type. Kiosk service to customize your order which is nice, and service was friendly albeit slow given that it wasn’t busy.

The food was really okay, but since there was no room outside, we sat inside. And it really wasn't nice there. It was clean, but it had no atmosphere at all.

The burger and fries are delicious. The price is very good for Amsterdam, and the quality is very good in comparison. For a fast food place, it's very good, with prices similar to those of well-known chains but with a much higher quality. The only drawback I would point out is that, for a fast food place, it took a long time to serve.

The burgers were good. We paid about €65 for three people including drinks. A normal price for Amsterdam. You can eat inside or outside. There's plenty of room, even with a group. Unfortunately, I can't say whether you need to make a reservation. The restrooms weren't great.

There was a line to order, and my friend had to go to the bathroom. We asked to go in, and a man who looked like a supervisor told us we had to order first. They only had two machines to order, and there was a line. We still waited, and when we ordered, he cut us off, demanding to see the receipt that we ordered in a rude manner. The food was good, but it took a long time, and the sweet potatoes had been cooked for a while and were cold and mushy.

The Silence of the Lamb is absolutely delightful! I’ve also tried a few other burgers from them and they are always super fresh. The open-kitchen style is a great touch – you can actually watch your burger being made.

Order from them take away using Uber Eats. After an hour and a half of "preparing the order" the order was cancelled. Tried calling the place twice to see what was the issue and maybe pickup the order ourselves, but nobody bothered picking up the phone.

The Butcher – Nine Streets is a hamburger restaurant that focuses more to tourists than locals. It is usually very crowded, with long lines to place your order and then another long wait (30-45 minutes) to receive your food. The atmosphere is modern but feels more like a bar than a restaurant, and I didn’t find it very comfortable to sit and eat. The interior is very noisy with loud music. I tried the chicken burger. The meat quality was good and it was well-cooked, but the taste was ordinary. I was expecting something more flavorful, perhaps saltier or spicier, but it was quite plain. Prices are rising quickly. Two people can easily spend around 50€ for and for what you get, it feels more like an average burger experience than something special. It’s in a central location, so it probably attracts many tourists, but for me, it’s not worth the price.

Quality burgers and a good, if somewhat noisy, atmosphere. Service is a bit slow because you have to wait to order on the digital screen (only two are operational). On weekends (at least in the summer), it's very busy, and it's difficult to get a spot inside. There are about four tables, each with only four people, and the rest sit at the bar, on stools, or standing.

They won't allow dogs in 2025... I'd understand if they didn't allow children. How we got in, then we left

The food itself is good, but the overall experience is more like a fast food restaurant than a restaurant: considering the price, it should be the other way around. The wait is moderately long, and the place is very chaotic. The staff were very friendly, but unfortunately, overall, it wasn't a great experience.

They have quite tasty and juicy burgers and fries. I specifically liked the buns as well, which I think is a key part. I’d highly recommend the place for anyone looking to have a burger around Amsterdam. Their prices are moderate and they are quite close to the central area of the city.

Excellent burgers, especially the smashes, with the option to customize each ingredient and add extra sauce. The spectacular sweet potatoes are highly recommended. Very generous portions. The only downside is the slow and chaotic service, with orders often being incorrect: we recommend checking upon delivery. We can eat in or take away.
