My wife and I visited this place on our first trip to Amsterdam. We were greeted outside before the shop even opened, as we had been walking around the market a bit early and came across this lovely spot. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, always with a smile. Food was absolutely banging, i was served by akis abbas✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Perfect if you want to eat well in Amsterdam without breaking the bank. They have a set menu of a simple burger, drink, and fries for €11. The food is very good and the service is fast.

We spent 40 Euros on the burgerbar smash, the vegetarian burger, and normal fries. The smash burger was a catastrphe, the patties were smashed way too much, only being about 2mm thick. They only had a burnt taste and nothing else. The bacon tasted like it was made two hours earlier and I couldn't tell that there was even cheese inside. My gf didn't like the veggie burger either, quoting her first reaction: " My patty tasts like a sponge filled with water". The music was also too loud in my oppinion.

We went to De Burgerbar with high expectations. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met. 1. Takes a long time. 2. Onion rings and fries were overcooked. Need new dentures 😉. 3. Ordered a medium burger, received it well done. The price-quality ratio is disproportionate everywhere. The burger tasted okay, though.

Everything is great except the price, this is a very costly burger joint. While amazing food, I really can’t say it’s 100% worth the cost.

Normally, the burgers are delicious, making them my favorite burger joint. However, during my last visit, I was disappointed by the "shrink-flation" of the fries (half the portion for the same price) and the burnt burger. I'd love to have a normal portion of fries and a medium-rare burger again!

Went here on a Saturday evening. Had to wait over 35 mins for my burger and fries. Burger was very good, but I feel they should give priority to orders from people actually there rather than online orders...

The meat was okay, but there was way too much sauce. Definitely avoid the cheese sauce, it’s not worth it and just makes the meal heavy and hard to digest. The fries were too hard, almost like they were fried yesterday. And on top of that, it’s overpriced. Friendly staff. I didn’t enjoy it at all and I don’t recommend it.

We ordered four hamburgers with three fries, two large beers, a Coca-Cola, and four ketchup, and they charged me 90 euros. The hamburger was good. In my country, they don't charge for ketchup and mayonnaise. The service was fast, the waiter was a bit serious, but the food was good.

Burgers are always nice in this place even lately the prices have risen a bit too much. Last night I ordered 2 menus to take away and when I got home I realised there was no drinks and no sauces. Very disappointing that the crew doesn’t check that your order is complete!

I think the entrepreneur has changed. Because french fries used to be included in the price of the burger and came with sauce. Now you have to buy both separately. Also, the fries were of very poor quality; they were usually overcooked and came in small pieces. I think the quality of the bread has also changed compared to before, and its quality has also decreased. Also the service was slow, even though the place wasn't very full, I got them in half an hour.

The burgers were good, and we especially appreciated the ability to create them to our liking, choosing the type of meat, the toppings, and the sauces. The hand-cut fries were good; if you choose cabbage, remember they'll serve it with mayonnaise. Despite the crowd, the service was quick.

Embarrassing that they call themselves a premium burger place and for their lunch special I’m actually astonished that they feel it’s ok to charge people this much for rocket leaves and the thinnest smashed meat (smash burger ok) and a couple of pickles. Outrageous these places these days. Never again

Tercera vez que he comido aquí y esta vez llevé amigos como en el pasado IT fue excelente. Esta vez no. IT tomó más de una hora para obtener nuestras hamburguesas desde el momento en que llegamos. Incluso estaban sirviendo a la gente entre nosotros. ¿Cuánto IT tarda en cocinar 4 hamburguesas, ITno es ciencia de cohetes! Qué manera tan grosera de hablar con los clientes. Las hamburguesas eran muy buenas, pero no voy a traer a mis invitados aquí de nuevo.

Very tasty burgers. Unfortunately, service was poor. One of the employees told us we could order either online or directly at the bar. When we tried to order via the website, we were asked to pay directly by credit card or similar. After asking another employee, we were advised not to order via the website as it apparently sometimes doesn't work properly. So we went to the bar to order, where we got our drinks straight away and a pager that lets you know when the food is ready. So there was zero service. We had to go to the bar to order, we had to get our own drinks and we also had to get our own food. This works much better and is less confusing.

Located on one of Pijp's busiest streets, it's quiet, clean, and stylish. The hamburger menu is 10.90 until 5:00 PM. It's incredibly filling and delicious.

Disappointing Experience at Burgerbar De Pijp We went there around lunchtime, craving a really good burger – unfortunately, we were disappointed. The meat was undercooked and rather bland in taste. Overall, everything seemed carelessly prepared. The atmosphere felt more like a tourist pub than a spot for true burger lovers. A pity, we had expected more. For us, it was the first and last time.

People are very nice, and the food was decent. If you’re with a group of people, I recommend getting a few combos and a few individual burgers, or else there would be far too much fries.

However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The wait time was a notable issue, as we waited 20 minutes for our order. Additionally, the dining area seemed a bit messy and could definitely use more attention from the cleaning staff.

good food, a nice looking space. the service style is that you seat yourself, order food and pay beforehand at the counter and get given a buzzer, which goes off when you have to go to the counter to get your food and take it back to your table. i think we got a bit ripped off by ordering the cheeseburger meal, when ordering a build your own burger with cheese, and chips to go with it, would have been a little cheaper and had more accompaniments on it than the one in the set cheeseburger meal. but other than that i was satisfied

I would say the burgers were a bit overrated. I’ve had better ones before, so it was just a good burger, not the best. However, it looked amazing! The bun was a bit bitter and not really to my taste. The meat itself was good. I’d give it an 8 out of 10.

It took me 45 mins to get a simple burger NOT during the rush hour (2pm). I ordered two medium well and one medium, but the cook guy had absolutely NO IDEA about it. He showed me the ticket he had and there was no info about medium or anything. The guy who took order just came and randomly picked one telling me it’s medium, hilarious. Take a look at my picture. The food was just decent, but not worth the 4.3 rating it has. No one told me that I need to wait nearly AN HOUR, and NO ONE SAID SORRY! I complained about the time only to receive a strange look.

The burger patties are freshly prepared individually by hand, which is why we had to wait 35 minutes for our food. If you are only in the city for a few hours, the waiting time is too long. No table service, dishes ordered via smartphone. Otherwise the taste was great, clear recommendation!

We tried two meal deals, one with the Irish Smash Burger and the other with the Chicken Burger. The Irish Smash Burger wasn’t our favorite, it was very smashed, which made it hard to really taste the meat, and unfortunately, the bun was a bit stale. 👎🍔 The Chicken Burger was delicious! It is not about food but about their service, especially online orders. They don’t read the notes and fail even with simple orders. I tried it 3 times and every single one they make rude mistakes with online order, like put the cheese even when the burger doesn’t have it in menu

Yesterday, I ordered a truffle burger here, but instead of truffle sauce, they put hazelnut sauce in my burger without informing or asking me. How did I find out? First, I didn’t taste the characteristic truffle flavor. However, the burger itself was very tasty, so I didn’t give it much thought. Second, I have a hazelnut allergy, and just 15 minutes after we left the restaurant, my eyes started swelling, my palms became itchy, my nose got congested, and a rash appeared on my body. Guys, this is unfair. If you replace an ingredient in a dish with a highly allergenic one, you must inform the customer—especially since I wasn’t ordering online, I was sitting in the restaurant. The ingredients are listed on the menu for a reason—it matters! As a result of this "substitution," we had to miss the Valentine's Day concert we had planned. And even on the second day, the swelling on my face hasn’t gone away.
