Horrible restaurant. Had to wait 1h for a come burger with no fries and no sauce. Was yelled at when I complained about the wait

Very slow staff. Very long wait even though it really wasn't busy. Paying in advance and then immediately asking for a tip on the card machine is unsympathetic. I also think that backfires.

Spectacular burgers, you can build your own cheeseburger or choose from the menu, and the fries are simply amazing! Highly recommended! Super friendly staff!

I went with my family and we were served by a very friendly person who also spoke Spanish. The food was very good; if you're from Spain, I'd say it's like Goiko but with better meat and potatoes.

They do not have an allergies list for the veggie 'redefine' burger. Pretty sure this is illegal. I have a sevre nut allergy and the staff didn't seem to care/understand. Avoid if you have an allergy

I was a regular customer but not anymore!!! Yesterday, I walked into the restaurant and stood by the register waiting to place my order. I didn't call anyone over or interrupt anyone; I was simply waiting to be served. A female staff member immediately told me, rather rudely, to "look behind you" and use the QR code at the table to scan and order. She also said that she would not take orders at the register. I tried ordering through the QR code, but I couldn't find the lunch deal I wanted on the menu. After a few minutes, I went back and asked her, "If I can't order through the scanner, will you still not take my order?" She clearly replied, "No." Feeling unwelcome and disappointed, I decided to leave the restaurant. At that point, a male staff member stopped me and said that he could take my order after all. Since I had already spent time there, I decided to stay and ordered two lunch deals. Unfortunately, the service issues continued. After serving a large group of customers, the staff handed me my food in a takeaway bag, even though I had ordered to eat in and had been given a table number. When I pointed out that I hadn't ordered takeaway, they took the food back to the kitchen, removed it from the takeaway bag, and simply placed it on a plate. The food quality was also disappointing. The fries were cold and hard, and the chicken burger was excessively salty. Overall, the experience was very poor. The staff were unhelpful and rude, I was refused service at the register without a valid reason, my dine-in order was mishandled, and the food quality did not meet expectations.

Definitely a great place to come and have an awesome burger. The people the snaff, that work here are just amazing. The guy at the register. Has it B on his shirt sleeve Don't talk about it because he wanted it to be an A plus lol Thumbs 👍

Good food , we waited 15-20 minutes but burgers tasted delicious. A little expensive for burger places and also they charge extra money for ketchup and mayonnaise 😱.

Definitely one of the best burgers I've had in AMS. I ordered via Uber Eats and from order to delivery no more than 25 mins! Amazing and the delivery guy was very polite. Then the burger is delicious, had the classic. Fries and coleslaw, all great, fries huge and very fresh. Would definitely order again when I'm in Amsterdam. I want to express my gratitude and appreciation to the young man who served us these past few days and gave us excellent recommendations (and was very helpful since we don't understand his language). We had some wonderful, delicious hamburgers and very tasty fries, and we were delighted with a typical Dutch sauce—or at least that's what we thought! The place was very clean, the atmosphere was very peaceful, and the area is beautiful! We went when it was nearly empty. I couldn't say what it's like when it's busy, but that was our experience!

Delicious burgers with various options worth trying. We live in area and come often when in mood for a burger. Also service is great with Alina a standout. Have seen her reply to a recent belligerent bullying customer with professionalism and grace - so was very impressed with her service. Overall highly recommend for the food and staff!

Laura served us tonight and she made our night, not only by how deliciously our burgers were prepared but also delivered. With a smile The jalapeño’s were missing but without a doubt she delivered double, no trouble. 2 beers down I met a South African lawyer, who was a rapper. But the fact that LAURA charged my phone bring da burger Made my day a little different than usual, which changed my day!

The food was great, I felt like I was eating a krabby patty from Spongebob. Jonathan was also really sweet and helpful!

Guys, coming to this place, I rediscovered a forgotten taste not only for food, but also for life. This unforgettable feeling when tender WAGYU meat touches your tongue is something I can compare to the most wonderful moments in my life. I experienced something similar when my first son was born. And if he were born today, I would name him Jonathan, in honor of the best waiter who gave me this selfless gift. Of course, the atmosphere is questionable, but, as they say, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. And I don't care that the bird took a bite out of my potato or that the garbage around me grew exponentially in size—all of this pales in comparison to the extravaganza of flavors that everyone should experience. Highly Recommended

Love, love, love this place, and I love it even more because it’s halal! Every time I visit, I try a different burger because I know it’s not going to disappoint ;) So far, every burger I’ve had has been so flavourful and cooked perfectly. This time I tried the Smashburger from Hell, which comes with 2 smashed beef patties, American cheese, pickles, and an insanely spicy sauce (usually comes with caramelized onions but i asked for it to be removed). After trying it, I can confidently say the name fits the burger haha! The spice level is no joke, but it’s incredibly delicious if you enjoy some heat 🔥 The staff are always friendly and patient while you’re deciding what to order, and they bring the food directly to your table when it’s ready. The atmosphere is great, and it has become one of my favorite places to bring friends who are visiting Amsterdam. Without fail, they end up talking about the burgers long after the meal. The burgers are big, juicy and soo satisfying. And whatever you do, don’t skip the fries!! They’re fantastic on their own and also with good toppings. Oh and their milkshakes are great too!! A spot I keep coming back to and one I’m always happy to recommend :)

We had a really great experience at Burgerbar De Pijp. The staff at the front were so lovely and welcoming, and they made us feel comfortable straight away. The chef did an amazing job with the burgers. They came out fresh, juicy and full of flavour, with that proper smashed-burger taste. You could tell they were made with care, not just rushed out. One of the biggest reasons we chose this place was because the meat is 100% halal, which made it such an easy and reassuring option for us as a family. It is not always simple finding a good halal burger spot while travelling, so this was a real win. Overall, great food, kind staff and a really nice relaxed atmosphere. We left happy and would definitely recommend Burgerbar De Pijp to anyone looking for a tasty halal burger in Amsterdam.

Could genuinely be one of the best smash burgers in Amsterdam. Full of flavour insanely big and juicy.

We went in with low expectations and left genuinely amazed by the experience. The burgers were perfectly cooked, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. On top of that, the service was spectacular. The owner was incredibly friendly and hilarious, which made the whole atmosphere even better. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick and satisfying meal. The only sad part was not being able to leave a tip for the owner and his adorable daughter!

Wow, truly the best burger I have ever eaten. The price-quality ratio was also perfect. I can really recommend everyone to get a burger and fries here. The fries were also really on point!! I had the Black Angus burger with cheddar, onion, bacon, and an egg. This combination is sublime, and BurgerBar knows how to refine this combination into a masterpiece.

This BB used to be great - no longer. 8/10 stars for the burgers. Very tasty. 2/10 stars for the service. Took over 40 minutes for five burgers while restaurant was empty at 5 pm. Server had zero idea which burger belonged to whom. Took us 10 minutes to figure it out - while burger got colder. 2/10 stars for the fries. They used to be great! No longer: they tasted refried and not fresh. 1/10 stars for how the Brouwerij 't IJ draft was poured. Sorry but we won't return.

My wife and I visited this place on our first trip to Amsterdam. We were greeted outside before the shop even opened, as we had been walking around the market a bit early and came across this lovely spot. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, always with a smile. Food was absolutely banging, i was served by akis abbas✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Perfect if you want to eat well in Amsterdam without breaking the bank. They have a set menu of a simple burger, drink, and fries for €11. The food is very good and the service is fast.

We spent 40 Euros on the burgerbar smash, the vegetarian burger, and normal fries. The smash burger was a catastrphe, the patties were smashed way too much, only being about 2mm thick. They only had a burnt taste and nothing else. The bacon tasted like it was made two hours earlier and I couldn't tell that there was even cheese inside. My gf didn't like the veggie burger either, quoting her first reaction: " My patty tasts like a sponge filled with water". The music was also too loud in my oppinion.

We went to De Burgerbar with high expectations. Unfortunately, our expectations were far from met. 1. Takes a long time. 2. Onion rings and fries were overcooked. Need new dentures 😉. 3. Ordered a medium burger, received it well done. The price-quality ratio is disproportionate everywhere. The burger tasted okay, though.

Everything is great except the price, this is a very costly burger joint. While amazing food, I really can’t say it’s 100% worth the cost.

Normally, the burgers are delicious, making them my favorite burger joint. However, during my last visit, I was disappointed by the "shrink-flation" of the fries (half the portion for the same price) and the burnt burger. I'd love to have a normal portion of fries and a medium-rare burger again!

Went here on a Saturday evening. Had to wait over 35 mins for my burger and fries. Burger was very good, but I feel they should give priority to orders from people actually there rather than online orders...

The meat was okay, but there was way too much sauce. Definitely avoid the cheese sauce, it’s not worth it and just makes the meal heavy and hard to digest. The fries were too hard, almost like they were fried yesterday. And on top of that, it’s overpriced. Friendly staff. I didn’t enjoy it at all and I don’t recommend it.

We ordered four hamburgers with three fries, two large beers, a Coca-Cola, and four ketchup, and they charged me 90 euros. The hamburger was good. In my country, they don't charge for ketchup and mayonnaise. The service was fast, the waiter was a bit serious, but the food was good.

I think the entrepreneur has changed. Because french fries used to be included in the price of the burger and came with sauce. Now you have to buy both separately. Also, the fries were of very poor quality; they were usually overcooked and came in small pieces. I think the quality of the bread has also changed compared to before, and its quality has also decreased. Also the service was slow, even though the place wasn't very full, I got them in half an hour.
