Great restaurant, the food is high quality and very tasty. The service was incredibly fast (we went during quiet hours). The service was very pleasant, contrary to other reviews mentioning a waiter we apparently didn't see. I highly recommend it.

A truly excellent Italian restaurant. The burrata bruscetta and carpaccio are excellent. We tried the burrata pizza, quattro pasta, salami pizza, and four cheese pizza, and they were all fantastic. Tucked away on a side street, it's a delicious and enjoyable place. The prices are very reasonable. Great work, folks! Thank you so much!

Why don't you fire the blond, blue-eyed waiter? 🙋‍♂️ It's a shame because while the food is still passable, the service needs to be much more impeccable. 🚨 Vegans beware: for them, if you order a dish with a "🌱" emoji, it's not vegetarian because, and I quote, "we're in Amsterdam here, not France." A clash of elementary school levels. Anyway, here's another comment telling you to run away. Instead, I recommend going to "De Blauwe Hollander," a typical Dutch restaurant. 🍽️

The service was great; the staff were courteous and friendly. It was clean, and everything looked tidy. I had a pizza, and I have to say it was the first one I've ever had topped with bell peppers. I've never had that before, no matter where in the world I've eaten pizza—unless it was from the refrigerated section. Maybe it's normal here in the city, but it was a little disconcerting for me. The pizza base was fantastic!

The place is friendly and relaxed, making it perfect for dinner. The staff was great, especially Ahmad. He was kind and helped us well with the menus and our food orders.

We called the boy in the black sweater with a necklace to ask him something, and he answered with arrogance and a lot of ill will.

A real tourist trap. Quick food and then off you go. The staff isn't very cheerful or knowledgeable, and they don't know etiquette. The dishes lack any real authentic Italian flavors. The osso buca was bland and certainly hadn't simmered for 24 hours. It was cooked quickly. The chef uses a microwave a lot. That's how it goes 😉. And an espresso is a caffe americano 🤦🏼‍♂️ So, 2 stars for the location and the apparent Italian interior.

Disappointing. The waiter, a young blond man, was unpleasant from beginning to end, and our meal was unfortunately quite bland. To make matters worse, we waited a long time to be served. Furthermore, we were forced to pay together instead of splitting the bill. It wasn't worth it... avoid this place.

The food is really good, unfortunately that's the only positive aspect. The server seemed rude to us; we waited almost 45 minutes for drinks and an hour for the starter. Furthermore, after rereading the bill, a beer that we hadn't ordered was added.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service is good. We liked the pizza and it started well. But the pasta was tasteless... we didn't like it very much.

The food was very disappointing; it had almost no flavor and was completely unlike Italian cuisine. The service was inconsistent: the lady was really friendly, but unfortunately, everyone else had a rather unfriendly demeanor and a bizarre attitude. When we asked for some garlic oil for the pasta, we were told it was "too expensive" to serve. A shame, because it felt more like a tourist restaurant than an authentic Italian experience.

October 2025 They reinvented the focaccia! Understand that dealing with all kind of tourists all the time must be exhausted and frustrating but... professional staff must keep the professionalism always. There was a VERY rude waitress, a blonde young boy that during the first interaction, when we asked about something he was putting in the table, something like: what is this?, He shouted: you don't know what is this?! It's a FOCACCIA! (attached picture of the "focaccia that we got, so you understand our confusion). Obviously he is not Italian and I believe either have much experience with Italian food...Anyway, payment arrived and again, we received more "attitude " from the same person. The dark haired waitress was much much better, polite and that gave you one more star. About the food: Burrata missing olive oil but not bad, pasta, al dente but tasteless, the meat (with a weird base of glaze balsamico) got no complaints, and also the Eggplant was good (wrong cheese used but...)...A shame that one person attitude and unprofessionalism can ruin a dinner and got you a bad review...that I believe is not the only one.

Empty when we arrived but the food was IMMACULATE! (Coming from NY that is high praise) Lasagne, garlic flat bread, and pizza was wonderful. Only funny thing was we went back less than 20 min after the check to use the restroom and they said no lol.. wasn’t until we showed our leftovers that they remembered and let us run to the toilet.

The wife and I just wanted something delicious and quick to eat. We shared a pizza and were served by the super nice and service-friendly Patrick. You just had to be quick. But we ended up staying there longer because it was cozy. And the pizza was perfect.

We stumbled upon this Italian restaurant by chance while strolling down a small alley in Amsterdam, and what a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and the staff is welcoming. The dishes are delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and full of flavor—you can truly taste the Italian authenticity. A wonderful time enjoying excellent Italian cuisine! We'll definitely return on our next visit!

Our margarita pizza was bland and tasteless, it felt like we were eating a cardboard. The sauce was unseasoned and the dough tasted like nothing. Honestly you’ll get way better pizza in a supermarkets refrigerator and for a fraction of the price. The stuff was also unfriendly and hostile towards us.

Really good people and good food

We visited this place and ordered pizza and a Caesar salad. The pizza was really tasty, especially the closed pizza with gorgonzola and chicken — flavorful and well-made. However, the Caesar salad was disappointing: the portion was quite small, and the dressing had an unpleasant aftertaste, like it had absorbed the smell of the fridge. The service also wasn’t great — the waiter was unfriendly and seemed uninterested in helping us.

I really can't understand all the positive reviews. The only positive thing about the store is that it's open after 10 p.m. Otherwise, you can really save yourself the trip.

The food was good, and the restaurant overall was okay. The service seemed a bit uncertain, but attentive. A dirty glass was replaced immediately upon request. Despite the name, there are only a few dishes with burrata, but that didn't bother me. All in all, it was okay.

Not a bad place, but not outstanding. It is really worth trying the mozzarella - very fresh and juicy. Pizza is not bad, but mediocre. We were seated at a very small table, because they did not want to open the next room, we were very cramped. In general - not bad, but we will not return for sure

Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Don’t waste your time or money here. First of all, there was a bug on my pizza. A nasty little thing just sitting there on the melted cheese. It was baked in, so clearly they don’t even look at the food before serving it. When I pointed it out, the waiter didn’t even care. No apology, no offer to replace it—nothing. He just looked annoyed, like I was ruining his day by saying something. And guess what? He was too busy watching football on his phone at the bar instead of doing his job. We waited forever just to order, and then even longer for the bill, while he stood there glued to the screen. Unreal. The food was absolute garbage. The pizza (bug aside) was a greasy mess with soggy crust and cheap-tasting toppings. The pasta was overcooked and drowned in watery sauce. Tasted like someone dumped a jar of store-brand tomato sauce on some noodles and called it a day. Nothing had flavor, and everything looked like it was thrown together in five minutes. The waiter’s attitude was awful. No hello, no smile, didn’t check on us once. Just rude and lazy. Felt like we were bothering him just by being there. And the music? What even was that? Loud, horrible, random crap. Not Italian at all. It didn’t fit the place and just made the whole experience even worse. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place seriously pissed me off. If I could give zero stars, I would. Dirty, lazy staff, awful food, and the worst service I’ve ever had. Never again.

Overall, OK. The food wasn't particularly good value for money. Some portions were quite small, the arrabiata wasn't spicy, and my chicken was no longer good, so I had to remove it from the sauce. They even gave me a discount at the end and apologized. Unfortunately, there was a mistake on the bill at the end, but this was promptly corrected.

BEWARE! The prices on the front of the restaurant are not the actual ones. The pizzas were good but at least 2€ more expensive than what was announced. The waiter also refused to give us tap water and refused to split the bill.

Just arrived in Amsterdam and TripAdvisor led me to Burrata restaurant. It's was a quiet Thursday, but the food was excellent, as was the wine. I had Focaccia to start, followed by the Fettuccine Alla Ragu, delicious 😋. Would definitely recommend it.
