Family and budget friendly. Highly recommend for yummy range of options. We got the spaghetti pesto, spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino with extra chicken (+3.50€, doesn't come with chicken) and ravioli al salmone con cream al pistacchi. Loved all of it. Best was the spaghetti aglio, the spice was a special heat. (Dont order if you dont like spicy food.) Good portions. Ravioli al salmone was smoked, I preferred fresh but still no complaints. Only hiccup was the card terminal was broken n had to pay cash. The staff were lovely and bonus is the ambiance. Nice wooden carvings.

Zero Hospitality Zero personal hygiene for lady I would like to appeal to the restaurant owner regarding a waitress who seems unable to communicate properly and does not seem to understand customers. Her attitude was also quite strange and made me feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I would not return to the restaurant if this waitress is working there. Based on my experience, I would also recommend avoiding the restaurant if possible.

The pizzeria was empty except for our table and one other – so only four guests. From ordering to receiving our food, it took almost 40 minutes. That was really disappointing. The pizza and bruschetta were good. When we paid, the waiter asked for a tip.

Food great, restrooms terrible. We ate at the San Tammaso restaurant (pizzeria) as a couple. Upon entering, we received a warm welcome and were impressed by the restaurant's decor. It was clean and very charmingly furnished. The food arrived quickly, tasted really good, and the portions were generously sized! However, I have to say that the prices are a bit higher than necessary. The drinks, in particular, are very expensive! Unfortunately, the restroom significantly lowers the overall rating. First of all, the toilet cubicle was filthy! Then, the toilet paper and hand towels were empty. The electric hand dryer was broken. A major drawback! Since the restroom is shared by both restaurants, I find this even more unacceptable than it already is. One toilet cubicle for two restaurants, and then one that's so dirty... unacceptable.

The food was okay. Nothing special but not bad for the price… but the service was unpleasant. While we were paying for our meal, someone who I’m assuming was the chef confronted our group and demanded that everyone leave a tip… I’m happy to tip if the service is good, but not if I’m being confronted into doing so… Left feeling very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t return here, even if the food was amazing. The restaurant was basically empty for the entire time we were there, maybe for this reason. Don’t be tricked by the positive reviews for this place; they ask customers to leave 5 star reviews in exchange for a free drink or coffee. Most of the reviews don’t actually reflect people’s actual opinion of this place.

Not sure they still have a woden pizza owen, at least my pizza did not taste like if it had been cooked in one. I had a Pizza Salsiccia e funghi. I hardly found any salsiccia e funghi, but lots of cheese.

I ate the lasagna, which was super delicious here by the way, the atmosphere was great, and the staff was super friendly. We also got our food super fast and our stomachs were well filled after the super tasty lasagna.

Good food and nice service from rob

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the waitress's behavior. She was rude and came across as very unprofessional. During service, she appeared confused and unfocused, and her hands were visibly trembling, making me feel uncomfortable. I saw her smoking a cigarette outside before returning to work. What struck me most was that her behavior seemed unstable and had a negative impact on the quality of the service. I hope that management addresses this and ensures that guests are served in a professional manner.

Bad experience – Definitely not recommended! My visit to San Tommaso was completely ruined by the scandalous behavior of the waitress. I have rarely encountered such an extremely rude, unfriendly, and disrespectful person in the hospitality industry. She reacted arrogantly and was completely unhelpful. In addition, this waitress displayed very strange and worrying behavior on the work floor. She was carrying an open bag in which a very suspicious white powder was visible, which gave a hugely unsafe and unprofessional feeling. To top it all off, the food (the piece of meat) was also dirty and unhygienic. But the way this waitress treats guests and behaves is absolutely the last straw. You will never see me back here again. Avoid this place if you want a normal and safe experience!

A quiet place, the food was good, there was a slight smell because the oven is open and there was smoke from the embers in the air. The price was reasonable, but they asked for an additional 10% as a service charge, which we weren't expecting. So far, no other place in Amsterdam has asked us for that.

Had a very tasty pizza, a bowl of olives on the side, everything neat. Top-notch service! We will definitely come back here.

What a delicious restaurant! Great staff and fresh food. The tiramisu was 10/10.

We had a good time, and the food was very good. It's just a shame that it was spoiled at the end by a receipt saying "TIPS not included," even though it's not displayed on the menu outside (or if it is, it's written in very small print in a corner; I checked on the way out and didn't see it). So we were left with an unpleasant feeling of having been ripped off as tourists (the basic prices are already a bit high, but it's a tourist area, so why not?).

Highly recommend! We were lucky enough to be staying right next door when we arrived in Amsterdam. Rob took excellent care of us! We had the chicken pasta, a pizza and the carbonara. All were delicious, but the service even better.
