We met some friends with high food accommodation needs for health reasons, and everything was delicious and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating.

If I'm going for lunch, I'll definitely come here. They have complete salads with organic, healthy, and delicious food. And it's inexpensive. A breath of fresh air. It's always very busy, and sometimes there's a real wait for a table. It's also quite busy. The service is excellent, but I think they could use a little more staff. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back.

Stopped by on a whim with a friend and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! This quaint little spot offers a great selection of sandwiches, drinks, desserts, and all-day breakfast. The portions are generous, so much so that we couldn’t even make room for dessert this time (but we’re definitely coming back for that!). The display of cakes and brownies looked absolutely irresistible, it was hard to choose just one! Since the place is quite cozy, the seating can feel a bit tight, and we had to wait around 10 minutes for a table. But honestly, the food and atmosphere made it well worth it. A lovely find!

Amazing! Coffee was good. Had breakfast and lunch here many times during my trip. I had different kinds of French toast due to the seasonal menu changing. Every bite was perfect. So delicious!

I went to By Lima with my friend and her baby for lunch. It was very comfortable and welcoming. The food was delicious and very healthy. There was a great variety. Staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. Excellent café, I'd be very happy to visit again.

The food was okay, but nothing special. Of course, as is often the case in Haarlem or Amsterdam, it was far too expensive for mediocre and underwhelming food.

Went here based on a TripAdvisor suggestion for a late brunch. The kitchen did an incredible job on the presentation and the combination of foods that were put together and placed on the plate. Amount of food was a bit lacking for the prices we paid. Extra bread for the meal was charged separately which was not what I had expected for the amount the meal cost. Flat white was good. But we're still trying to figure out what the matcha was made of. It had the looks of matcha but tasted more like a veggie juice. Still trying to figure out the flavour. Service was friendly and quick. Atmosphere is tough to rate if you sit outside. I think that is more relevant for the inside. Overall it was an okay visit for us.

My daughter and I stumbled on this cafe while waiting for our entrance to the Corrie Ten Boom House in May. It's located near that museum, St. Bavokerk, and lots of great shopping. It was one of the best food experiences we had while in the Netherlands. Everything was incredibly delicious, beautifully served, and very generous portions for the price! Not to mention, it all tasted and looked like it was made fresh, from scratch, including the jam!! I can't over-recommend this place for visitors to Haarlem!

The coffee and food are certainly delicious! But for a lunchroom that emphasizes "made with love," it's quite ironic that the large lady in black doesn't say hello, doesn't make eye contact, and just throws the menus on the table.

We loved this cafe during our stay near Haarlem! Great selection of cakes and vegan dishes, and even plenty of gluten-free options! The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are unassumingly friendly.

At Lima... We've been coming here for years, and the quality is always high and consistent. The coffee is delicious (in our opinion, the best in Haarlem), and the breakfast and lunch menu is exclusively vegetarian and vegan, but with exceptionally good dishes. Generally, the staff is super friendly, but occasionally we encounter someone who isn't enjoying themselves, but that's an exception. The quality of the ingredients is always top-notch, and the portions are just right—not too much, not too little. With the lovely location and reasonable prices, we love coming here to enjoy the friendly service and the delicious food.

Brunch lovers, we were completely won over by this place, it's everything we're looking for. We had two well-made homemade juices, excellent! Then toast with egg, green asparagus, peas and other ingredients, an explosion of flavors in the mouth, then delicious French toast. It's refined, well presented and you can tell it's made with quality products. In addition, the place is really pleasant, quite quiet and the waitresses are kind.

The food is quite good, especially the cakes. Unfortunately the staff is really unfriendly, especially the older Dutch man. Atmosphere is good can be very crowded.

Surprisingly delicious! We stumbled upon this place and enjoyed a delicious and fresh lunch.

A full terrace speaks volumes: delicious dishes with beautiful presentation, a feast for the eyes and palate. Service took a little longer, but given the weather and the crowd, that was entirely justifiable and absolutely no problem. It actually allowed for a relaxed, long, and good conversation.

I’ve been a regular customer at this café and usually enjoy my time here. Today, I asked for a small piece of bread for my baby to keep her busy — nothing fancy, just a plain slice of bread. At the register, I was surprised and honestly disappointed to see that I was charged 1 euro for it. It’s not about the money — no one becomes rich or poor over 1 euro. But sometimes it’s the small gestures that leave a lasting impression, especially when it comes to hospitality and customer care. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I’d really like to keep coming back with the same positive feeling I used to have.

One of the best places in the country. We don't live nearby, but we come here regularly. Every dish is carefully prepared, and the service is top-notch. The only downside is that you can't make a reservation.

They are just perfect. Food and coffee are really good. There was no change table for my little one, they offered another place to change the diaper. They really do care about people. Highly recommended!

I was there straight away in the morning and had a free choice of seating and was served quickly. Mango chia pudding was delicious. The Ceremonial Cocoa too, but found it a bit pricey. I'll definitely come back again because they have a great selection of healthier dishes that are very tasty 😊

Very nice place. Different vegan/vegetarian/gluten free options. I highly recommend the French toast and the bread with red lentil hummus. Price is totally fine for what you get. A must try for Breakfast/Brunch when you are in Haarlem

Ugh, it was so busy because of the flower parade and nice weather I guess. It almost made me panic myself, but the staff remained super friendly and it was neatly indicated in advance that it would take longer. Well, it was worth the wait. One of my favourite breakfast/brunch places of all time. The service is amazing. The food is inspiring and very tasty. My current favourites are whipped feta sandwich, vegan bitterballen and Turkish eggs. The picture is the whipped feta sandwich with avocado fries. They change their menu over time but whatever they put in continues to impress.

Friendly service and cute atmosphere. They have a seasonal menu, vegan/vegetarian options. Their gluten free bread is 🔥I just caught in the moment and ordered a sweet breakfast so we had to go again to try new dishes🤗. Also portions are huge - I was full for the day.

I had a wonderful time there! They have amazing vegan options - I chose the crumble and the chai latte with oat milk and both was so good! Also, the sun came out so it was nice to sit outside by the calm road next to the church. I will definitely come back! They also have cute artsy postcards inside and the food is completely home made, they also seem to have gluten free options.

They serve extremely delicious breakfast. Food was so delicious, that I was not even able to shoot a picture 🫶🏻

This is highly recommended! A gem in Haarlem. Located in a nice, quiet spot, just 100m from the Grote Markt. The food is great… prepared with great care and only fresh products. Looks beautiful and also very good portions. Black coffee also tasted great. In short, you really must eat here! The service is very pleasant and helpful. Pure enjoyment.

The food is delicious, but it was a shame that I was not given any orientation about the dishes. I went with my children and the dishes chosen for them were quite spicy. They couldn't eat everything properly. Didn't say that the dishes were spicy even though she knew they were for my kids. I thought this was quite a shame in terms of service. Not all staff speak Dutch.

We shared the soup of the day and the Autumn salad and both were amazing: hearty, rich in flavor, well-dressed, fresh. My mom is not a fan of cold salads and yet she loved this one. The space is pretty and the service super friendly. Well-worth the price for the quality you get.

Absolutely delicious Fall salad with kale, carrot, purple cauliflower, pumpkin seeds and tahini dressing. Equally delicious was the very hot oatmeal chai. Nice service and relaxed atmosphere. Will 100% be back!! 👍🏻

Not only is the food amazing, but we even got a 15% DISCOUNT as Peruvians (just by showing our passports when paying). How nice?!!!

New favorite spot in Haarlem. We had the cashew cream sandwich (pictured) and Fall bowl. Both were delicious! Such fresh, nourishing ingredients. Service and atmosphere both top! Although we took away our food this visit, we'll definitely be back to try something from the entire case of Vegan desserts 😉

The terrace is a bit cramped, but that shouldn't spoil the fun. Delicious lemonade with, among other things, rhubarb. Had goat cheese salad for lunch. The coffee is served with cinnamon pecan, simply delicious. Delicious autumn salad. Way too much. They even offer a container to take the remainder with you.

My fav place for sweets and coffee in Haarlem! They have a lot of vegetarian options as well as gluten free, lactose free etc. lovely service, beautiful flower decorations! The only suggestion- plz plz add almond milk option 🙃
