Cafe Comunal in Schiphol

Not recommended at all. The staff were very unpleasant; they didn't bother to listen or understand our needs. Furthermore, some employees were drinking while leaning against the bar. We ordered a latte and two cappuccinos with oat milk. One of them wasn't even half full. It was impossible to finish them. Absolutely not recommended.

Delicious, freshly baked pre-topping pollo pizza, at a price you wouldn't expect at Schiphol Airport. The taste was good, as was the service. Ready in 3 minutes!

I came here for a pause before my flight. The personnel was extremely friendly which often is not what you find art the airport. Maybe a bit crowded if you come at rush hours which may make difficult to find a place. At the C area there are not that many options. My experience was good… I just ordered a wine.

Just has a sausage roll from here that was burnt on the outside and frozen in the middle. How can you call yourself a cafe and serve that. Rubbish food. Staff seemed nice.

We were hungry and wanted a sandwich. We got a hot sandwich with serrano. The sandwich was cold. The employees didn't look happy with their work. No smiles, no "welcome or hello," strange facial expressions. This place just left a strange impression.

It is tasty but very expensive I paid €12 for a mozzarella tomato sandwich and chocolate sandwich which normally should be under €10 it is a to go place

Terrible service, no smiles, unhelpful, indifferent staff with a terrible attitude toward customers, and lousy food. If I hadn't asked, they'd have even forgotten to serve me the sandwich, which I waited half an hour for. Yet I was sitting at the bar sipping the only positive thing: beer.

Don’t order pizza. They don’t fully cook it. So it’s white on the bottom.

Fast, easy and convenient eatery that offers a wide variety of options. From sweet donuts to kids to glass of wine for the exhausted parents. Bad - seating very limited.

They served me a cold espresso. How can someone make a cold espresso???? The water for espresso should always be around 92-95 °C. A cold espresso is absurd, just shows that this is not the place for coffee.

Cosy bar ar the C-wing (Schiphol) where you can still order pizza, salads and bocadillos!

A nice place to spend a short layover at the airport, charging my phone while having a nice croissant and a late.

Care-free diner. They can’t care less about you

The food was good for an airport cafe. We had latte macchiato, pizza pollo and pizza chorizo. The chorizo is actually pepperoni and tasted better than the chicken pizza. By the way is the only place to get a hot meal in Terminal C.

I ordered a salad. I paid for it. Before sitting, I go to the corner where the condiments are. No salt, oil, lemon or vinegar. I asked to the staff and the y said simply we don't have. Really? You sell a salad and you dont provide condiments? I should have known this before paying. Otherwise, I could choose other option, right? Instead of showing any empathy they laughed and said: why are you angry? It is not our fault. We do not make "salt". Seriously? Is that the staff that face people daily. Wow....

Yummy espresso. Nice cafe drinks for here or to go.

I had a tea here before boarding. It was quite crowded and the tables were not cleared.

We had a small pizza for 11 euros. The only pro was that they heated it up before giving unlike other cold sandwich places.

Today, April 11, around 4:00 p.m., a blonde girl attended us at the checkout in a very bad manner. He couldn't stop making fun of us (there were 4 of us) with his partner, talking to us in Dutch when we told him several times that we only spoke Spanish and English, laughing at us literally in our faces when we tried to pay by card and the dataphone didn't work... 🔴It's a shame that there are people like that working in front of the public and treating foreign tourists with such contempt.

13 euros for a small salad and no dressings available - I asked for dressings and was redirected to sugar and milk

Busy, slow and cold food. Blegh 4 euros to provide a little hot water for baby food.

Worst customer service. They just slam the food down say what it is but you don’t know who it is for. So others grab it when you have been waiting. When I said I had been waiting I got a reply that everyone is waiting. Super helpful. Thanks for nothing.

Only Heineken was available, and it was either off or the beer lines need to be cleaned. Either way I gave it back after trying to drink half of it because it tasted so bad.

They ask for a tip when paying by card. Tourists who do not make a choice are given unfriendly explanations. The staff then makes their own choice for the highest tip. (seen 3 times in a row) They get enough wages here. It's not USA. This is unacceptable and I am ashamed that this is possible in our country

Avoid it. Very negative experience with a cashier guy, that did a mistake and was not able to recognize mistake. He scaned my voucher and closed the receipt without asking if that was all. This way, he basically stolled me 14 EUR.

Oké people. It's schiphol. That means overpriced and very busy. Don't pay a tip if you don't want to. In Holland the service is included in the price of the food. If they ask you if you want to pay a tip, just say 'it is not a restaurant'. 'No'.... is also an alternative. The staff were fine but pressured... the seats, tables and cleanliness.... hmmm. I have seen cleaner toilets than this cafe, along the French motorways.

It's the usual understaffed, expensive, not very clean, standard airport cafe. Does have beer on tap though.

The girls working on the counter are extremely unprofessional….they are unhelpful… & dismiss people during serving to talk about their own business. They seem like very relaxed to the point they don’t care if customers will buy or not ! I was shocked that the service was very poor. I could observing while I was waiting to be served the girl turned to another colleague started talking and laughing . I was waiting till she decided to turn and acknowledge me. Very bad ! Sad to see so many young & strong people with lazy and impolite attitude! You need a good senior manager there to put this train on track ! Wish the best because place is good !

What to expect when ordering a slm9n sandwich? Well.... rocks. They told me it never happened again, but still, nearly broke a tooth and never know what germs you end up with. Sad thing is that you don't have too many alternatives around

Hallway machine coffee. You order it with ice and they make it hot. You can have it with milk and they give you a packet of milk. They obviously don't have any other milk options (oat, soy, nothing). Cardboard cups. Office coffee at coffee shop prices. Go to another airport cafe

Automatically add tip while the lady is in a terribly bad mood and it is full of trash everywhere. Definitely not worth a tip.

At first we bought filled rolls, but as we were about to pay noticed rest of rolls being dumped in a bin. On asking staff why, they said "expiry time" so we refused to pay for ours and instead opted for them to make us fresh pizzas which were very nice. Place very busy as can be expected

The lady who worked at the counter on June 16 afternoon took my order and didn’t bother to look at me or say thanks when she handed my chicken sandwich. She just put it on the counter so for a minute, I was confused whether or not I could pick it up or I was supposed to wait for her to say I could pick it up. Weird and rude. I don’t know why I bothered to tip her.

For a snack between two flights it’s nice. The tables are a little dated, there is a lack of seats, the servers are quite virulent and not very smiling It does the job... Barely

The nearest Starbucks was closed, so this was the second option. Blueberry Muffins..delicious. Coffee..horrible. A medium flat white, normally the stronger milky option, didn’t taste like coffee at all. How can a medium latte be the same price as medium flat white? €18,40 for two coffees and two muffins!!! For good coffee, maybe. But not for this coloured milk.

Uninviting place, strange wooden furniture in mostly red colors. unfriendly staff. If you explicitly request it, you will be served the coffee in a cup. Without a cookie

Probably on the sadder side as far as airport cafes or any cafe goes. Got the sausage roll, cheese and bacon roll, apple pie and hot chocolate. The sausage roll was cold and had no flavour (not even sure it had meat). The bacon and egg roll had good texture (didnt really notice any bacon though). The apple pie tasted good but was soggy and wet. The hot chocolate just tasted like diluted hot chocolate mix (and this mix wasn’t even stirred in). Customer service was ok, however everything just seemed very slow yet chaotic. Definitely feel that Starbucks infront of Cafe Cominal would have been a safer bet. Some items especially drinks (water, soft drinks etc seemed a tad extra…. probably better walking over to the store directly infronf it of and paying half the price).

Avoid! This is just the saddest thing I’ve seen in a while. Bad food quality (stale, frozen sandwich) and ridiculous prices (even taking into account you’re at an airport). And then they try to peer pressure you into tipping at the payment terminal.

"We don't do refills on hot water". Pick another place for eating! Any other place.

Half cold sausage roll, coffee in a paper cup. And that for €10, and you still have to explicitly reject the semi-mandatory tip. Just keep those American conditions where the sun don't shine.

Today at 6:10 am at this business. Not open yet. I asked the “manager” when it opened; “when he was done he said while drinking coffee at the bar” Very unfriendly and absolutely not service oriented.

Nice breakfast place in the middle of C terminal within schiphol. The seating is comfortable and coffee tasted great.

Koffie met appeltaart 9 euro. Ik weet dat ik op Schiphol ben en alles wat duurder is, maar de koffie had dan ook in een kopje gemogen en niet in karton. De appeltaart was bijna helemaal ontdooit.

7.5€ for a beer and it comes with foam, filling a third of the glass even though I asked to redo it. But in the end they arrived to my table with a new proper pint. Very much appreciated for the gesture.

Kind of pricey. For a sandwich with mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil it was almost 9 euros. Wasn't good tasting.

Wij hebben er alleen wat drinken gehaald toen we moesten wachten om te boarden. Service aan de kassa was prima en wat ik gezien is er meer dan voldoende keuze aan drank en eten.

all the staff is awesome, very attentive. I was served by a blond young man, I was in a very bad mood, and he succeeded in making me smile. I fully recommend the chicken avocado sandwich!

Om wat te drinken voor je vlucht is het niet verkeerd. Het moest alleen niet zo overdreven duur zijn.

Ordered a cappucino (medium) and 2 croisants. Croisants were very dry, cappucino was very watery. All in al bad and that for a total pay of nearly 11 euro's. I mean i get that airport food is expensive but i expected at least some quality standards.

Don't be fooled by the hipster graphic design. Almost identical stuff from Laplace, zero meat-free options, and random bags of pasta added to the decor for empty style points.

Schrale broodjes tegen woekerprijzen. Karig belegd op oud droog brood en wordt ook nog een knoeiboel . Wat een treurnis! Dit is een slecht visitekaartje voor Nederland.

Decent cafe, with good coffee and fresh squeezed juices but the server’s unpleasantness to me and especially to the customer in front was the most memorable aspect of the visit.
