At first glance, it looks like a decent restaurant. The lady behind the counter was also very friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly. Apparently a little too quickly, as my husband's wrap was still cold. It was reheated, but it was still cold afterward. Mine was good, though with a lot of sauce and vegetables. Not much chicken. You can expect a lot from a wrap that costs almost 8 euros. It's a shame. So, we won't be returning again, and judging by the other reviews, we weren't the only ones disappointed.

I am out of words, don’t go here. The waiting time was even through a rush quite alright (therefore 3 stars). The food on the other hand was the worst I've ever had at an airport and no it’s not the price or the portion size. The general quality is just super low, to everyone who works there, get in touch with your manager, someone has to implement processes which guarantee quality and food safety.

Food was terrible, couldn’t even finish the Smokey Paprika Wrap. The smell and the taste combined was just not working for me. The service was the worst service I’ve seen in a while. Stood at the front of the line in front a cash register, they decided to change the register and don’t say anything. Terrible place, don’t recommend. If this wasn’t in an airport it wouldn’t exist.

Please do not go here! Waited 35min for 3items. The iced coffee was water with a truck of syrup at the bottom (they are apparently incapable of remembering to add coffee and to mix...). Food was seriously underwhelming and too little. And to top it off everything is obviously overpriced. FLEE!

Bought a large matcha latte that seems to have been made with only enough matcha for a very small one. Price/quality is rock bottom. I didn't even mind the slow service, since I had plenty of time, but I now understand why it was completely empty, besides me. Shame, it's not really that hard to make a place like this work.

I expected a healthy rice bowl, but the meal was quite disappointing. Everything was excessively oily, the rice was undercooked, and the chicken was not properly cleaned — it still had skin and was not entirely breast meat. On top of that, the sauce had no real flavor. Overall, the quality did not match the restaurant’s concept. Definitely not a place I would return to.

I’m a regular at LEON at Schiphol because they used to have a great variety of healthy vegetarian options - Brazilian black bean stew, aubergine Thai green curry, etc. I went today and they’ve replaced everything with chicken? And a couple of falafel options. Surely even for omnivores, this is a disappointing lack of options. Hopefully they change the menu again soon, it’s a shame.

Two ladies behind the counter. Output in the last 10 minutes: 2 coffees, in total. 2 customers in front of me: both left because they had to wait all this time to order. Then the breakfast was out, so only drinks. This is not what I'd expect from a Leon! Maybe it's better for your brand name to close this location, or get a manager in? Oh and then after 5 minuten and 30 seconds my wife got her coffee, after reminding the lady that her coffee was standing ready under the machine... And it wasn't what she ordered.

Fast-food restaurant in a convenient, easily accessible location. The food is of good quality and the prices are particularly suitable for affluent travellers. However, for a family meal with children or if you're a student, it's better to go to the Burger King next door. Similarly, if you're in a hurry, avoid this place: the term "fast" is mainly a marketing ploy, as the food is cooked to order. Which can be a problem with a combo of hot nuggets and cold chips (my experience). In conclusion: the brand's slogan, "the future of fast food", doesn't seem very appropriate.

Stopped there to order two beverages, one burger, one box with rice and chicken, some nuggets and some fries. First of all, we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes because with an enormous line of people waiting the personnel doesn’t work and only one girl is taking orders and taking care of the whole process. After 25 minutes of waiting that girl shows up and take our order. Order is 43.75, We gave her €45 and she looked at us staring at us for a long minute waiting for more money because she don’t know how to count some bank notes. Then the preparation process was OK. We received our food quick and confident we left with our bag to our gate which is on the other side of the airport. What a surprise when I open my bag and I found out that my rice box with chicken has been replaced by an ugly burger that I never ordered. That is probably half of the cost of €11.95 for the rice box and look absolutely disgusting. So this was my first and last experience at this ugly place with br@inl3ss employees that don’t know how to work, and that are totally inefficient, and cannot even put the proper products in the bags of the order of the customers. Food was pretty good for a fast food place, lots of gluten free and even some organic options. Easily accessible ingredient lists online. The staff and service was HORRIBLE though, they were both incompetent and SO SO SLOW, we almost walked away and gave up on getting our food. This is an airport, people have planes to catch, and we had to wait over 45 minutes from getting in line to getting our food. The employees seemed to have no control over the orders, we had to figure out for ourself what food was ours and several other people got the wrong items. But the most frustrating thing was the complete lack of efficiency from the employees, they just shuffled around, chilled and relaxed, while all the people in line were potentially missing their flights. Infuriating. The food was not even hot when we finally got it.

What a disappointment. The place looks like it’s on life support – everything is dry, dull, and dead. No atmosphere, no energy, just a long, slow crawl through boredom. We went here for dinner because it looked reasonably good in the photos, but my daughter got a ridiculous chicken burger. The chicken was still raw and therefore undercooked. The hamburger bun was a supermarket bun made with absolutely no love, so I left it alone. The chicken wrap was also subpar, but I just swallowed it because it needed something in it. The guy behind the counter was stirring his ear while passing the food around. It was incredibly unappetizing and completely unhygienic. The Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority should have shut this place down long ago. For others: Pass this place by and save your money and possible food poisoning before your trip begins.

You get a supermarket bun (you know, the ones that sell 10 for €1.25) instead of a proper bun. Even if you eat them right away, the buns are already soft before you even start eating them and too small. I always thought this place was really popular due to the large line that I always see when I walk by it at the food plaza in schipol: unfortunately once I decided to try it, as I was early for my flight and had a lot of time to lose, I realised that the reason for the crowd was not the deliciousness of its food, but the fact that Leon is truly understaffed. Yes, the food is okay and sort of cheap (I suspect due to shrinkflation, given that the “large” salad was served in a small coffee paper cup and the burger was about the size of my fist), however it is not outstanding compared to its neighbors La Place and Burger King, and they have a much smoother order and pay process: for most of my 40 minute wait (quite long for a place that brands itself as “fast food”), only one person was both taking and preparing the orders, which resulted not only in longer waiting times, but also in some mistakes in preparing the order itself (wrong burgers, items missing, etc). If I was management, I’d consider either hiring more staff or installing order totems to make the process more smooth.

The muffin halloumi was great. Coffee was ok. Staff borderline rude. They need a customer facing training to ensure they are polite and friendly.

We queued for 20 minutes in a long queue, all i wanted was some chicken nuggets and two chips for my brother and i. Once we got to the front of the queue, we realised once people had ordered they were still waiting ages for their food. And there was only two people taking orders. We finally arrived to the woman taking orders- only to find out from her that there was no more fries or chicken nuggets at all (there was sold out signs for other foods yet none for these) She also lacked any sympathy at all about the situation and merely told us we could have an aubergine curry if we wanted. Never vist!!!

Not recommended at all. The staff were very unpleasant; they didn't bother to listen or understand our needs. Furthermore, some employees were drinking while leaning against the bar. We ordered a latte and two cappuccinos with oat milk. One of them wasn't even half full. It was impossible to finish them. Absolutely not recommended.

We thought we'd grab a quick bag of fries. We frequent the Amsterdam outlet and have also been to Pommes before. We were more than satisfied. This time, there were three young adults serving. Sorry, but it's gone downhill fast. There's nowhere to sit. The heaters aren't on outside (though they are at Starbucks), but we're sitting on the umbrellas. Now, you get the sauce on the side. How do you do that with a cone? I still had a croquette sandwich, without sauce. Where do I put it? They never asked if I wanted sauce. Once I received the cone, it was moderately full and the fries lukewarm. I felt sour all evening. What I also found odd was that the friends of the guy behind the counter both got a cone without paying. Very strange. We won't be back.
