What is this? No wonder the line at Burger King is 10 times longer.

It's a shame you have to give it one star. I've never had such disgusting food.

Do not go here. I ordered the aioli chicken box. It was literally dry rice, poor quality chicken with aioli for €13,5. You can get better food for this price.

A great start to my day at Schiphol Lounge 1 LEON. Great service from Huseyin, he was very friendly and helpful. And my oatmeal and cappuccino were delicious. Thank you for the excellent service and hospitality. Compliments

Saddest, smallest, tasteless burger ever. Wanna avoid ordering at McDonald's, Burger King and similar unethical restaurants.. but c'mon Leon, is this your alternative?! What a joke.

Definitely not fast. Took 25 minutes from ordering to getting the food. Expensive for a tiny burger. There was a woman who ordered and paid and ended up leaving without anything due to having to catch her flight.

The man behind the counter (Emanuel) was terribly rude, I paid for sauce and one came barely filled and so I asked him if this is normal and he said its not his problem its the kitchens problem, if he would've been decent I would’ve brought another sauce without a problem, but the way he treated me made me leave immediately. I do not understand why you would have such a person in your company

Very very long waiting time. Total confusion at the cashier and in the kitchen. Burgers/nuggets are very dry. Falaffel sallad were ok actually.

Comically bad service. Waited 15min for my order, only when I went up the counter and chased did they ask the kitchen to make it.

They work less than Tarzan's tailor. Eight people wait to eat, they close one register, open another, and we have to get back in line, still complaining. They completely disregarded the order of the queue. The chicken was more alive than breaded; we were thinking of keeping it as a pet. There were about five or six employees, and only one was working the register, another was calling out the numbers, and the others were just clapping along. The singer will probably get signed up for the Christmas lottery next year, or he'll go on tour with José Mercé. We've saved you time here, but if you want to see a mannequin show, this is the play for you. Pathetic.

Really bad service, the woman in the cashier doesn’t know what she is doing. And it takes forever. And she was really rude. And the people in the kitchen were really inefficient, there was a girl going around the whole kitchen. It seems like they don’t have professional operations. Please do yourself a favor and go to Burger King that is next door. Look at my burger. It’s so sad. Really disappointed.

Diarrhea 30 mn after i are there ( i am rately gaving anytging like thar( The roll was not fresh , dry on the ends. Sour sauce' not nuce. I found the advert pretending to be natural,very misliading. I am sure McDobalds would be healthier. Tge seasonal slaw was the worst i had in my experience. Avoid.

To the management of LEON, your food (the chicken burger) is terrible. Try eating there sometime. A dog couldn't keep it down, and I almost couldn't either.

Avoid this place like the plague. Leon at Amsterdam Airport was, without exaggeration, one of the most revolting food experiences I’ve ever had. The fried chicken nuggets and the Caesar burger were an absolute disaster. The coating was thick, bread-like, and completely soggy. There was barely any chicken inside, and the consistency and smell were morbidly horrific. The Caesar burger was the final insult.. rotten salad inside, giving off a genuinely unpleasant smell. The fries were equally terrible.. undercooked, limp, and soggy, as if they’d been held near hot oil rather than actually fried. The chilli chicken bowl deserves its own warning label. Shocking in appearance, miserable in portion size and taste. It looked sad. If you value your money (cause it’s expensive), your taste buds, or your stomach, walk past. There are no excuses for food this poor.

Honestly? The chicken Satay was totally tasteless rice. Perhaps 40g of chicken tops with no spice at all sunk in a squirt of peanut butter sauce. I almost had a laugh when I opened the box. I spare you the description of the haloumi wrap, the 3 chese bits were ... chewy at best. What is astounding is that there's a long line to get served. I tried 3 times and this was my last one. Spend your €€ elsewhere !!.

At first glance, it looks like a decent restaurant. The lady behind the counter was also very friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly. Apparently a little too quickly, as my husband's wrap was still cold. It was reheated, but it was still cold afterward. Mine was good, though with a lot of sauce and vegetables. Not much chicken. You can expect a lot from a wrap that costs almost 8 euros. It's a shame. So, we won't be returning again, and judging by the other reviews, we weren't the only ones disappointed.

Very slow service, cold fries with a meaty taste

The staff had no oversight, no sense of service, and no speed. In short, very poor service, even though the order was for two coffees 2go.

The portions were an outrage; the burgers were smaller than a €9.50 McDonald's cheeseburger… The staff left much to be desired in terms of politeness… they rolled their eyes when you wanted to order something.

I am out of words, don’t go here. The waiting time was even through a rush quite alright (therefore 3 stars). The food on the other hand was the worst I've ever had at an airport and no it’s not the price or the portion size. The general quality is just super low, to everyone who works there, get in touch with your manager, someone has to implement processes which guarantee quality and food safety.

If you want a burger, go to Burger King next door. Really did not taste good, probably about the worst we have had.

The service is terrible, and hygiene on the coffee machines is worrying (the milk frothers have old,dried milk on the spout).

Lukewarm fries, old burger, soggy wrap. And stiff staff. I doubt the cleanliness of the kitchen when the door was open.

Food was terrible, couldn’t even finish the Smokey Paprika Wrap. The smell and the taste combined was just not working for me. The service was the worst service I’ve seen in a while. Stood at the front of the line in front a cash register, they decided to change the register and don’t say anything. Terrible place, don’t recommend. If this wasn’t in an airport it wouldn’t exist.

Please do not go here! Waited 35min for 3items. The iced coffee was water with a truck of syrup at the bottom (they are apparently incapable of remembering to add coffee and to mix...). Food was seriously underwhelming and too little. And to top it off everything is obviously overpriced. FLEE!

Bought a large matcha latte that seems to have been made with only enough matcha for a very small one. Price/quality is rock bottom. I didn't even mind the slow service, since I had plenty of time, but I now understand why it was completely empty, besides me. Shame, it's not really that hard to make a place like this work.

I got chicken nuggets, and they were crap. The breading was bigger than the chicken. The chicken looked like it was from the last century. A disgusting mess.

That was the worst meal I’ve ever had. The burger was completely soggy, and the meat looked awful and Grey. I honestly couldn’t eat it.

Not sure I get all the negative reviews. The muffins were delicious and the porridge was good, all be it a little too thick.

I expected a healthy rice bowl, but the meal was quite disappointing. Everything was excessively oily, the rice was undercooked, and the chicken was not properly cleaned — it still had skin and was not entirely breast meat. On top of that, the sauce had no real flavor. Overall, the quality did not match the restaurant’s concept. Definitely not a place I would return to.

The food is disgusting. More than half the menu is missing. There's only one burger option, and the patty isn't made of meat. Inedible.

We were there late, but the food was absolutely dreadful. Do not think you get what's on the picture. We hope we don't get ill...

For the management - you need to put more people. You are loosing customers because of how much time it takes to order.

I’m a regular at LEON at Schiphol because they used to have a great variety of healthy vegetarian options - Brazilian black bean stew, aubergine Thai green curry, etc. I went today and they’ve replaced everything with chicken? And a couple of falafel options. Surely even for omnivores, this is a disappointing lack of options. Hopefully they change the menu again soon, it’s a shame.

Got food poisoning. The wrap was already tough and the chicken wasn't crispy, but getting food poisoning in the Netherlands... That's a real low point for a restaurant.

Baker cold fries, we asked for sauce to go with it and were sent packing, we could clearly see that we were disturbing the saleswoman, never again

Absolutely disappointing… the fries felt like they were a day old, everything was in a mess, and it wasn't a pleasant experience otherwise. But in general, it's hard to find a better alternative other than the good smoothies next door.

Marinate your chicken for better flavour. Cool your salad a bit better.

Do not waste your time there. Besides the fact that the waitress was extremely rude (she made us wait 20 min to take our order) it was another 45 min to received it. Not Even the correct order so we had to wait an extra 10 min and half our food was cold.) Appreciate she was alone on service but it’s no excuse to be rude.

Two ladies behind the counter. Output in the last 10 minutes: 2 coffees, in total. 2 customers in front of me: both left because they had to wait all this time to order. Then the breakfast was out, so only drinks. This is not what I'd expect from a Leon! Maybe it's better for your brand name to close this location, or get a manager in? Oh and then after 5 minuten and 30 seconds my wife got her coffee, after reminding the lady that her coffee was standing ready under the machine... And it wasn't what she ordered.

Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time. This was only while ordering; after that, we received our order quickly. The food was delicious.

Super slow service despite their "Naturally Fast Food" tagine. This is an airport, people don't have half an hour to wait in a queue for mediocre food. Thus place is a disaster

Fast-food restaurant in a convenient, easily accessible location. The food is of good quality and the prices are particularly suitable for affluent travellers. However, for a family meal with children or if you're a student, it's better to go to the Burger King next door. Similarly, if you're in a hurry, avoid this place: the term "fast" is mainly a marketing ploy, as the food is cooked to order. Which can be a problem with a combo of hot nuggets and cold chips (my experience). In conclusion: the brand's slogan, "the future of fast food", doesn't seem very appropriate.

Ordering here requires a lot of patience. Three employees are on standby, but only one is working. The ordering process is incredibly slow. The food is okay, very small portions, but expensive. The surrounding area is unkempt and littered.

Everything we ordered was cold (when is was actually supposed to be hot) The ingredients and dishes themselves seem fine. The chicken patty on the burger is quite big. However, everything was prepared very poorly. Had to trow away the fries as they were harder to chew than cardboard. Should have checked the reviews first, as our experience seems to be the standard here. Should have gone to Burger King next door. #lifechoices

The 5 stars are solely for the friendly lady wearing a head covering; her service is top-notch. Delicious vanilla matcha latte. Other young staff members could learn a thing or two from her.

AVOID! I'm almost in awe at how slow the staff manage to be. I'm typing this review as I wait. The person on the till doesn't even let the kitchen know what to make until you've been waiting 10 minutes after paying. Update: Food was shocking. The fries must have been cooked days ago, the wraps were missing ingredients, everything was just awful. Do yourself a favor and go to any other vendor at the airport

Very underwhelming food, Falafel were soggy, rice was not cooked properly. Chicken side dish was awful. You are better off at Burgerking to save you the disappointment.

Stopped there to order two beverages, one burger, one box with rice and chicken, some nuggets and some fries. First of all, we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes because with an enormous line of people waiting the personnel doesn’t work and only one girl is taking orders and taking care of the whole process. After 25 minutes of waiting that girl shows up and take our order. Order is 43.75, We gave her €45 and she looked at us staring at us for a long minute waiting for more money because she don’t know how to count some bank notes. Then the preparation process was OK. We received our food quick and confident we left with our bag to our gate which is on the other side of the airport. What a surprise when I open my bag and I found out that my rice box with chicken has been replaced by an ugly burger that I never ordered. That is probably half of the cost of €11.95 for the rice box and look absolutely disgusting. So this was my first and last experience at this ugly place with br@inl3ss employees that don’t know how to work, and that are totally inefficient, and cannot even put the proper products in the bags of the order of the customers. Have fun in your m1s3r@ble life!

The chili rice i got was terrible. No taste, very little everything. Had aioli for some reason. I do not recommend.

Nothing like the real Leon. Soggy fries, chicken aioli was all rice and very little chicken, no cutlery … I hope they get up to the standard, eventually.

Horrible place! I never write reviews, but I couldn't resist commenting on the awful quality of the food. I ordered a 12-euro container of chicken aioli rice. What I received was a paltry layer of dry rice with two pieces of chicken and a blob of aioli sauce. I'd rather spend my money somewhere the sun never shines than spend it here again.

A terrible place. Way too expensive, the rice was dry, and the portion was far too small. The only thing that tasted good was the lemon I had to squeeze myself. Worthless.

The food was absolutely disgusting. They wrap the burger in a bag so you can't see how bad it looks. It's served on an Albert Heijn bun, and the cheese isn't melted. I don't recommend this, and you're better off going to Burger King next door.

Food was pretty good for a fast food place, lots of gluten free and even some organic options. Easily accessible ingredient lists online. The staff and service was HORRIBLE though, they were both incompetent and SO SO SLOW, we almost walked away and gave up on getting our food. This is an airport, people have planes to catch, and we had to wait over 45 minutes from getting in line to getting our food. The employees seemed to have no control over the orders, we had to figure out for ourself what food was ours and several other people got the wrong items. But the most frustrating thing was the complete lack of efficiency from the employees, they just shuffled around, chilled and relaxed, while all the people in line were potentially missing their flights. Infuriating. The food was not even hot when we finally got it.

They have nothing is stock !!! No sauces or burgers. Rice is dry, like it had 2 days old. Expensive and bad... dont récemment it at all.

If you're a fan of a good cup of Senseo, this is NOT the place. This place can't even compare. It honestly felt like I was sipping from the dregs of a Senseo in your average construction site on a Friday afternoon. Not to mention the price, be warned.

Very slow. My vegetarian salad had chicken in it. The fries were cold. Ordering took forever. Suboptimal for an airport.

What a disappointment. The place looks like it’s on life support – everything is dry, dull, and dead. No atmosphere, no energy, just a long, slow crawl through boredom. The staff couldn’t be less interested if they tried. No smiles, no effort, and frankly, some looked like they were literally drinking on the job. Not exactly professional. Avoid if you’re expecting anything remotely lively or welcoming. Just skip it.

Their entire menu says “Back soon” Whats the point of a fast food joint if the place can’t sell half their menu?

I can't imagine a worse place to eat. We assume food prices at airports are high, but at least some people have some sense of shame and offer a certain minimum quality. LEÓN offers food that even an animal wouldn't eat. The kids who take orders and cook do it well and have no responsibility, but the owners do.

Took very long, and they were working very slow. The chicken was dry and the rice was not cooked enough. They threw our food on the tray. Lemonade was good, but probably not made by them 😆.

Poorly managed. Under staffed, long and very slowly moving line. Maybe 12-15 people in front of us and took 30 min. Out of all wrap sandwiches. Food was fine but not worth the 30 min wait

You get a supermarket bun (you know, the ones that sell 10 for €1.25) instead of a proper bun. Even if you eat them right away, the buns are already soft before you even start eating them and too small. The chicken on the chicken Caesar burger is chicken, but the breading was also partially softened. It doesn't look like the pictures. So, I only ate here once.

We went here for dinner because it looked reasonably good in the photos, but my daughter got a ridiculous chicken burger. The chicken was still raw and therefore undercooked. The hamburger bun was a supermarket bun made with absolutely no love, so I left it alone. The chicken wrap was also subpar, but I just swallowed it because it needed something in it. The guy behind the counter was stirring his ear while passing the food around. It was incredibly unappetizing and completely unhygienic. The Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority should have shut this place down long ago. For others: Pass this place by and save your money and possible food poisoning before your trip begins.

Waited 29 hours just to get the wrong order. Food wasn't even good...
