KFC in Hoofddorp

Today we placed an order totaling €98.94. What we received wasn't what we ordered. Three coconut milkshakes were missing, I ordered Kentucky loaded fries, and two corn on the cob were missing. The chicken was cold, and the fries looked more tasteless than ever. We called to report the error. Someone answered the phone but didn't say anything. I could hear people talking. I even thought for a moment I was on the wrong line. I thought I was in Turkey because that's the language they were speaking. And my husband, on the other end, kept saying hello. We tried several times. Finally, an employee answered, completely unprepared. They said the milkshakes were out of stock but didn't call to ask if we wanted a replacement. They said we would get our money back and that they would give us a phone number to contact, and then hung up without explaining the problem. We tried several times; They answered the phone but didn't say anything, and we heard them talking to each other in their native language. A complete lack of respect. We tried several times, but they answered and hung up each time. A huge chain like KFC, and the quality of their products is deteriorating, combined with terrible and unprofessional customer service. It caused us enormous stress during a relaxing family moment. My husband has emailed KFC customer service, and tomorrow we're going to the KFC branch in the center of Hoofddorp. I tell everyone: we won't be buying anything from them anymore, and I advise you to do the same. You'll only be disappointed. Close the doors, because it's seen better days.

Terrible, as a client you have to pay to use the restroom, and only by cash while for the food you can only pay by card, if you don’t have any coins you can’t even use it. The worst Kfc i have even been to, they don’t deserve even for one star. Payment for the toilet as a client, disrespectful,

KFC turned out great. The food was nice and hot and fast.

I do not recommend it, the order for 30e was lost and I received a message on the app that it had been delivered. No contact and no response to my request for a refund.

My review isn't so much about the food, but about the new Dubai ice cream. This really feels like a rip-off. You get a little sauce on top, and otherwise, you're essentially just eating a soft serve. A modern scam, in short. I recommend getting ice cream from other chains; at least there you'll actually get your money's worth.

I had an amazing experience thanks to one of the Yemeni employees at KFC. I didn’t have any change to use the restroom, and he went above and beyond to help me — he kindly opened the door and made sure I was okay. His kindness and genuine willingness to help truly touched me. KFC should be proud to have such a caring and helpful employee — people like him make all the difference! He absolutely deserves a promotion for his exceptional attitude and humanity.

The food was bad, it was just cold while we had to wait 15 minutes for our food. If you don't have cash you can't go to the toilet. My corn, well there was no corn left. My order was already wrong, really bad. The trash cans are full and the tables are dirty. Never ever again here.

Most of the time it’s very crowded since it’s located in the centrum, and the waiting time for orders is quite long, whether you dine in or take away. The tables are often not cleaned promptly after customers leave, so you usually find spills and leftovers around. On Fridays, it becomes especially difficult to place an order, and I’ve even seen them decline online orders at times 😳

The food at KFC was truly delicious; everything was nice and hot and freshly prepared. The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean, making it a pleasant dining experience. I'm very satisfied and would definitely recommend this branch to anyone who enjoys good food and good service.

Despite all the negative reviews, we tried to eat here. The food was delicious, fresh, and warm, and the manager was very kind and accommodating. Definitely worth a try.

Waited more than 30mins for my order and after coming home I discovered it was missing 3pcs of chicken. On top of that the staff is simply rude. 25/08/2025 We gave delivery another chance through Thuisbezorgd and this location got even worse. Ordered at 18:36....wait for it....order came 2 hours later🤣 it's soooo awful it's almost a stand-up comedy bit. Kansloos

They have kind people and the food is good and fast.

I only crave fast food once every few years. The oil is stale, you can smell it in the fillet. We got cold burgers. I didn't get the extra cheese I paid for. The fries were salty. Neither the bacon nor the onions were good. The place smells of oil and is dirty. The girl who wiped the tables used a rag to wipe the seats. We ate a little because we were hungry, and the rest went in the trash. The cheese was supposedly new and melted... a bad chemical. It was a disaster, I will never go back there.

It couldn't be worse: literally every table in the restaurant was dirty. There was trash everywhere, and if you didn't have cash on you, you couldn't use the restroom, despite an order of almost €50. (Debit card payments weren't accepted.) Furthermore, the restaurant didn't have any wet wipes to clean your hands that way.

I am not satisfied with the service. I have ordered from you several times, and some items are constantly missing from my order. Because of this, I have to check everything on the spot each time. I would like the staff to be more attentive, as customers expect to receive exactly what they paid for.

Always problems here. Incomplete food, only when you specify that you want it to go. Nothing is weighed. Everything is eye-based and of course to the detriment of the customer.... I have also had to receive burnt food and later say that I refuse this order and with difficulty accept this, the pretext being, "that's how meat is", rolling their eyes, the children and later a "manager" comes and supposedly solves the situation.

Incredibly poor service. After waiting 40 minutes, we finally asked if our order was ready. The bag was just sitting at the back of the counter. They don't speak Dutch, only English. This isn't a fast-food restaurant. It's more like a slow-food restaurant. It's terrible.

I do not recommend it to anyone! They only sent me half of my online order. I could not contact them or express my complaint by phone or in any other way. So, more than 30 euros!

It was a quiet day, but we still had to wait a long time for our food. The order we placed wasn't very large.

Absolutely terrible. We arrived around 7:00 PM. The restaurant looked like a battlefield (even though there were no other customers). There were at least two orders of trash under our table. The food was lukewarm when we received it, and it's difficult to find someone who speaks Dutch. If you want to order a sauce, you have to do it via the screens to keep your food from getting cold. Apparently, you can't order/pay at the counter. Of course, you have to pay by card because they don't accept cash, but the restroom fee is 50 cents in cash (make it make sense). It's hilarious that this place is still open in this state.

KFC is always good, not the most pleasant but the tastiest chicken

Well, this was quite disappointing. What a terrible service. You're not a guest here, just a number. The food was meh. Not great and quite expensive. Filthy place. All three trash bins were overflowing, lots of trash on the floor. No napkins. Maybe I'm not the target audience anymore, but I wouldn't dare come here again. We got there around 7:30 PM.

Understaffed!! Staff are very stressed and therefore forget details in order. They were happy to correct it. Not a place to sit and enjoy food. Very busy and staff dont have time to clean up. Toilets are paid so if you dont have change on you then too bad. Only good if you are doing a takeaway but check your order before you leave!!

Just plain crap. I placed an order today around 16:45 for two burger menus. I see my delivery time increasing and increasing every time. Like 15 times called the restaurant and just can't get in touch. Suddenly I get a message out of nowhere at 18:50 that my order has been cancelled. Disgusting. Just disgraceful

A dull place where we waited 45 minutes for two menus. Then it turned out we'd been given the wrong burgers. After changing the burgers, they were lukewarm. Only the fries were warm. When my daughter needed to use the restroom, we had to pay €0.50 (coins! in 2025), even though we'd been eating at KFC. The employee replied: "This is KFC."

I rarely write negative reviews, but the organization is so bad in this place. When I entered today, there were two employees shouting angrily at each other. In addition, I had to wait more than 30 minutes for my order, which was also incorrect. The other people in line had the same, it was completely wrong. Yeah just not such a good KFC, staff was rude and you had to pay cash for the toilet but you couldn't get cash at the counter and you couldn't pay cash for food at all. Food was okay but I wouldn't recommend going here if there are other options.

What a horrible place. Ordered something for the first time NEVER again! Placed an order, after waiting half an hour we were told that the milkshake machine was broken and that I would get my money back within a week. I am still waiting for my money. Filed a complaint with the head office and they can't do anything about it. But in the meantime I still haven't received my €20,- of the order back.

Not so great. A bit disappointing. People work excruciatingly slowly, which means you have to wait a long time. I also find it very expensive for a piece of chicken. I won't go there again!

KFC polderplein Hoofddorp I placed an order via Thuisbezorgd, I had 2x fries, 2x milkshake in a durable cup, a bucked chicken drumsticks, and sauces.. The delivery person came and we received a completely different order, just a few chicken drumsticks. We tried to call the branch 8 times, first we were always on hold, eventually they just push you away. I spoke to Thuisbezorgd via the complaints service, they sent them proof of my order and the receipt of what I had received, I would be emailed as soon as possible with a solution, after waiting for an hour they emailed again that I now want to know where I stand, I automatically receive a message.. In the meantime it is half past nine and my food has simply not been delivered and they do not come up with a solution either.. Last time I ordered here, easy money like that.. Update, my boyfriend came by yesterday, no apologies or anything, very lax, yes, the delivery person had left the order on the table and brought another one. My friend indicated that he wanted my money refunded. Given that they are not reachable and do not make any effort to find a solution. He is told that the manager will call me today. You would think that he would call fairly early because you want to keep the customer satisfied but I do not hear anything.. I tried calling 5 times myself and they just do not answer.. I feel seriously ripped off, payment but no delivery..

The establishment is very dirty, the tables are not cleaned at all. We waited for our order for 40 minutes, after which we received only half of the order. We said that half of the order was missing, they were rude to us, after the employees found our check in the trash, they simply added the second half of the order.

I have never left a review but man what a company. Cannot order at the counter and then you can not find the combo anywhere on the machine. Report it do nothing with it, then look at thuisbezorgd I am cheaper if I had it delivered by the same combo. Staff just stands still, understand that minimum wage is tough but just go work for your money. Not often seen something like this

I recently moved to Hoofddorp and was happy with the fact that I have a KFC nearby the house, but this is the worst KFC I have came across after living in Netherlands for 10 years. They are super understaffed and therefore the waiting time for a simple kapsalon was more than 40 minutes. Because of the long waiting time, I informed at the counter that I will take the outdoor sitting, and I was told “ok, we will bring your order when it is ready”. After 40 minutes I was told the order was thrown away as no one responded when they called the order number. Therefore I had to wait another 20 minutes so they can prepare another kapsalon. After waiting 60 minutes, I get a horrible salad with soggy and cold fries. Never going back to this KFC again. Also don’t be fooled by the marketing of Kapsalon they have in store, the portion is half than what they are marketing.

After the many complaints that can be read here you would expect that the waiting time would have been less. Unfortunately I have to wait another half hour. Very disappointing compared to other KFC restaurants where I do not have this experience.

Food is always great but the food takes so long every time! At least 20 minutes and sometimes 30 minutes+ when busy This has been the case for years and all other KFC locations can do this well.

I made my order online, my two kapsalons kip duo were missing ! Impossible to contact them! And we didn’t have any lunch !it is really frustrating to be honest…no solution yet. The order was made at 03/05/2025
