DJing is definitely interesting. Corny Dutch music and poor transitions. Always far too packed to stand anywhere, usually get sent to the subpar upstairs area. Vibes are not my thing but obviously a bar that does the job.

Had a really nice evening! Simply great.

A friend was getting in the way of the (aggressive!) staff member. He apparently couldn't handle it, so he kicked an innocent group of friends out of the club for no valid reason. Don't go there!

Security has a power trip they want to get rid of everyone who has a slightly different opinion even if there is nothing wrong

A friend of mine wasn't let in because he supposedly had a row with a fellow guard. We'd just arrived, so it was complete nonsense; don't go. Stupid place.

I stood still on the stairs for 10 seconds because I saw someone I knew. And the security guard immediately shouts, walk down the stairs or I will kick you down the stairs. Super unfriendly, I won't be coming back.

The idiot bouncer didn't let me in on account of a tiny, tiny shoulder bag that was so tiny and non-space consuming I could easily tuck it under my coat (coat itself was ok tho!?), preventing me from joining my group (not gonna queue for an hour and rent an extra locker for a tiny shoulder bag, pfff). De Fuik!? Guess who's spending his money elsewhere...

There was a party there with the volleyball association, and they threw out 2 of us for no reason. In itself it's not that bad, but after that you just can't get in anymore.

Music always good and so is the atmosphere. Great tent!

Nice evening with a friend pretty much ruined. We walked outside with our beer, after which the security guard asked us to drink it inside. We walked back inside without any reply, after which the other “security guard” took our beer out of our hands and pushed us out with a good push. Palms completely open... security guards point at each other and the police do nothing with it... ball tent. Definitely won't be back for a "nice evening"

Great pub, but the last option of the evening as they stay late. Weekend is way too busy. Too many poppy students who act arrogant and think they can run things like that.

Where to start... This place is heaven on earth. A truly crushing experience. The beers are flying everywhere, the music is blasting, shots are being downed like there is no tomorrow. Only good vibes. I've been here about 15 Thursdays in a row and every time I went crazy on the cheap drinks. It's the best place. Will forever hold a special place in my heart. To all employees, my love and respect goes out to you. You really sent us to the mines of Moria every Thursday.

Too bad it's only with a student pass during the week. But a good and very nice cafe... good music, just fun.

Ball tent, I spend all evening raising money and they refuse to give me tap water. Very sad.

Normally a nice pub, but yesterday they made me pay 18 euros for 4 shots (4.50 per half shot) while it is normally much cheaper. You also got small shots... when I said something about it, the professional became angry and put pressure on me to just pay! Scam

Afgelopen weekend weer een gezellige avond gehad bij café de Fuik. Zoals de titel al zegt; een studentencafé, dus de doelgroep lijkt me duidelijk.

Recommended friendly staff who do their best for the customers.

Cafe de fuik has probably become our favorite pub over time, always pleasant, always nice people and a place to come back more often. Long live the trap closers, cheers!!!

Cool place to start the night. Decor inside is pretty nice, with antique lamps and cool lighting. After 12 tables are moved away and its all mostly a dace floor. Lots of pop and dance music.

At the beginning of the night or if there is nothing to do, this is your Fuik where you can always have a drink.

9/10 times it's cozy inside. A cover band is not always viewed positively, but when there is a DJ it is a good place.
