Just a nice, cozy Amsterdam pub!

The white special beer on tap is good, the fried chicken was delicious and the atmosphere is really cozy.

Amazing and incredible people and place to enjoy, my wife and I decided to do our upcoming baby gender reveal while in town and they let us have it in one of their tables and even gave us a beer for free 🍺, thank you so much for your kindness and support you guys are amazing people 🫶🏾

Just a cafe, with a Heineken derived assortment. But because of that also what is not often found Chinese beer. A bit too sweet but quite ok. Service given the peace a bit slow.

After being on the other side for a few days, you are simply refused here. Put on the street without a telephone. But drinking a few beers and calling a taxi was not an option here. Try it somewhere else, it was said in the most unfriendly tone. My advice is to go to Café Weber a little further. Always pleasant. And you will receive good help there, even under less favorable circumstances. Various beers on tap and a nice portion of bitterballen.

This is a nice pub spot for a drink, and the white wine (Pino Grigio) was very good. However, we found the place to be a bit understaffed and that affected our experience. There was only one bartender taking orders, serving drinks, preparing snacks, and taking payments, which just seems like bad planning/process. Payment was not taken when we ordered, so we had to queue for 5-10 minutes at the end to pay and leave. The place was very busy, so this was unpleasant.

Love this place! Discovered it on our very first night ever in Amsterdam. We went back every night for a beer. The guys tending bar recommended bitterballen and it went great with the Amstel.

A very nice place. The person who served us was super friendly and attentive. We wanted to enjoy a quiet time, refresh ourselves, recharge our energy and cell phones 😅 after a long trip. Widely recommended, I think it is a place more frequented by locals. It is not far from the center and walking around the area is well worth it.

Badly educated workers, terrible customer service. 3 years living in Amsterdam and the worst experience so far. We ordered drinks, after seeing how they served other people who came in later we approached to ask and they neither look at you nor answer you but they start talking to each other and laughing (I have never seen anything like this coming from a worker facing the public). Regrettable.

Walked in, ignored several times, walked out - pretty poor and shame because it looked like a great place and vibe. Barman seemed more interested in his friends and deliberately made the decision to ignore us. Place next door we got greeted and served straightaway (was as busy)

What a fantastic spot! The ambiance is delightful, and the beer is truly delicious. Our server was exceptionally friendly and impressively knowledgeable about the beverages they offered. They recommended some outstanding local beers that we thoroughly enjoyed!

Best pub in the world, better than bar piazza!

Only a few minutes walk from the main tourist area stands this brown bar on the corner of two canals. Its a locals place but they are friendly and don't bite so go sit near them and experience a piece of "old Amsterdam".

We came there for a breakfast/lunch. We ate avocado toast with eggs, my boy ate also with salmon. We drank esspresso and it was perfect 👌 The staff there is very polite and kind. My boy was so thrilled about breakfast that was excited for this all day long and the day after 😝 Oh, yes, and the prices are normal; like others in Amsterdam 😉 Recommend.

Very cozy bar, I especially enjoyed the red benches outside (cool!), which made me want to sit outside even though it was a bit chilly. Great beer, but a bit expensive for students.

This place is leuk. Friendly service and great coffee. Stopped here to study our Dutch and had a nice quiet table by the canal in the shade. So friendly even the host was helping us. If we were to walk one block in any direction it would be overrun with tourists. So a nice quiet place.

Unexpected discovery of one of the coziest bars I have ever been to. Lovely and interesting decor. Friendly and attentive staff. Supreme location.

Dit is een oud bruin café op de hoek van de Lijnbaansgracht en de Looiersgracht, nabij de 9 Straatjes in de Jordaan te Amsterdam. Door de authenticiteit, de locatie en het feit dat je hier ook iets kunt eten, krijgt dit café van mij 4 punten. Minpunt is dat het café klein is, waardoor je al snel aan een tafel bij de ingang moet gaan zitten. Dat is in de winter ongunstig, omdat het er tocht. Als het mooi weer is maakt dit echter niks uit en kan men bovendien op het terrasje aan het water van de Looiersgracht gaan zitten.

Verjaardag hier gevierd met een vriend, en super leuke avond gehad en goed geholpen. Aanrader! Ook om op een doordeweekse dag te zitten

Locals bar on a canal corner with posters, prints, beer signs covering the walls and a small upstairs which makes you feel that you are back in the 1700s ! I sat outside on the sloping terrace taking in the view and sipping a La Choufe. Bliss :)

Fantastic bar - went three nights in a row on a short trip to Amsterdam. Staff are so lovely and feels like you’re in your own living room. Hope to return as soon as possible!

Wat een bar, geweldige keuken met een dito chef! De keuken is klassiek met een hintje franse fusion. Vooral de lagunitas a little sumpin sumpin ale is een aanrader! En die kleine gespierde barman mag er ook wezen

Die beiden Herren hinterm Tresen waren nett, aber auch offensichtlich überfordert.

Wij liepen toevallig tegen dit cafeetje in Amsterdam aan. Toevallig hadden zij hier de finale van de Formule 1 op staan, waardoor het allemaal nog gezelliger was. Het personeel is vriendelijk!

Nettes Ambiente. Englische und holländische Fussballligen wurden übertragen. Freundliches Personal, aber leider ziemlich teuer. 4 0,33er Bier kosteten 23 Euro (ohne Trinkgeld). Aufgrund des überteuerten Preises muss ich leider was bei der Bewertung abziehen.

Super friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Had the F1 race on which did make my husband very happy. Food, coffee and beers all very nice and well selected. Loved the decor and little touches like the real berry branches in the cute vases as well as the cozy feel. Great place for a short or long stop ☺️
