Best pancakes in the world, guys! And for dessert, anise ice cream*—seriously, so good, it makes you happy! And of course, as expected: coffee to cry about (in a good way). Stronger than a Dutch windmill and smoother than an Amsterdam canal at sunset. The service? Friendly and fast, but be careful— (Pro tip): wear elastic pants, because you want to order everything. Seriously :)

If you want to eat the most delicious pancake ever, you've come to the right place. Furthermore, nice service and a nice atmosphere. Also super tasty coffee with homemade caramel. Too bad there is no non-smoking terrace, there is enough space for that around the building. Especially since there are also many children running around here.

IJsland is a local jewel, a family owned restaurant with home made food made with love from scratch. Staff is lovely, the place is super kids friendly. The pancakes are the star of the show, but the tosti and bowls are very good too. Or you can just have a coffee and enjoy your morning.

It’s the worst dessert I have had in Amsterdam. Staffs are nice but they don’t really know what their chef are making The dough is super dry and even bitter Super weird taste I don’t think they do even try their own food It’s not made of professions or any love. They should add more love to treat the food Food should be treated better

It is a nice place for parents who have kids. You can eat and they can read or play with toys. Also the classic toast and Italian toast were delicious.

Check this place out if you have the chance. Amazing food and service. Our group of 4 was seated right away, and the man serving us was very kind and helpful. I had apple pancakes with a cinnamon coffee and it was the best breakfast I had during my stay in Amsterdam.

Normally a nice and cozy place with delicious fresh croissants, but today I discovered that they also bake the tastiest oliebollen in Amsterdam. Forget Hartog, go to Iceland!

Ze hebben hier echt heerlijke koffie, pannenkoeken, ijsjes en noem het maar op! Wij komen hier altijd met onze kinderen en het is altijd een feestje. Jason, Marieke en alle anderen die hier werken kennen iedereen en zijn heel lief en betrokken bij de buurt. We zijn heel blij dat ijsland bij ons om de hoek zit 🥰

Dit is zo'n fijn en welkom plekje in de Rivierenbuurt en echt, ze hebben de LEKKERSTE, vegan pannenkoeken van de hele stad. Ze smaken als de "zaterdagcohtend pannenkoek" van een oma of opa die eigenlijk meester pannenkoekenbakker is. En waar je dan vrijdagavond al trek in hebt. Voor de liefhebbers; de eigenaresse zet de lekkerste latte's met erwtenmelk (ja dat is lekker ja ;) ). Ik zit er vaak te schrijven, tussen spelende kindjes die met hun ouders-op-coffee-break zijn en ondertussen vriendjes maken, buurtbewoners van alle leeftijden en een enkeling met een laptop. Kom hier graag.

Un lugar encantador, muy ricos los productos que tienen y el trato de sus trabajadores inmejorable, son muy amables. Muy recomendable.

Mejor desayuno en Ámsterdam. Sus creps tanto salados como dulces son increíblemente ricos. El servicio es estupendo y el local muy acogedor. Imperdible!

Ik kom nu al een poos met ontzettend veel plezier bij IJsland en niet alleen voor alle heerlijkheden die ze reserveren maar ook hoe de "IJslanders" zijn. Buiten het feit dat ze de lekkerste pannenkoeken (spek appel in mijn geval) en het lekkerste ijs (biscotti in mijn geval) hebben. Maar ook omdat ze een hele fijne sfeer creëren in hun zaak. Altijd sympathiek en hartstikke leuk. "Gezellig" precies zoals het moet zijn als je er even uit wil en dit gaat absoluut niet ten koste van de professionaliteit die de "Ijslanders" hebben IJsland is een absolute aanrader als je in de buurt van de Maasstraat bent. Eet smakelijk zou ik zeggen

Zeer vriendelijk deskundige bediening , persoonlijke aandacht. Hoge kwaliteit en snel geserveerd . Altijd parkeren voor de deur mogelijk Voorbij is de Maasstraat nostalgie omdat ik er woonde op Maasstraat 59 bletage wat betekend dat je een eigen opgang en voordeur hebt . Er zijn vele winkels Twee slagers, bloemen,kruitvat, pizza , enz enz . Het heerlijke kwaliteits ijs zie foto , op verzoek maken ze dit , of andere sorbet , of gewoon een ijsje .

This is a small place on a street corner where we decided to have some brunch. Coffee is very tasty and we also tried the famous Dutch pancakes - very good as well. The waiters are friendly and speak good English. Prices are moderate :)

Snel even lunchen bij Nam Kee pp de Zeedijk. Goddelijke oosterse oesters en pekingeend zoals hij moet zijn. Knapperig van buiten en zacht van binnen. Chineser dan dit kan het niet worden in Nederland. En dat voor een prikkie. Dus waar wacht je op?

Great icecream, location, and staff is really lovely. The only issue is that the terrace is often full of wasps. I wish they could set-up a repellant or traps. If it were bees that would be a different story, but the wasps can be quite aggressive with your food and drink

Jammer geen foto gemaakt van hun overheerlijke mokka avocado milkshake. Zelf ben ik niet zo super fan van mokka. In combinatie met avocado, smaakt het super! Niet te zoet, je proeft de mokka en het is lekker milky! Diegene die het drankje bracht, bracht ook een vriendelijke lach mee! Rustige buurt om zonnetje te pakken！

Gezellig koffie drinken , lunchen met of zonder kinderen. Ook je hond is welkom. Ze hebben altijd lekkere dingen op de kaart staan, Deze keer gekozen voor een roerei met kaas en een tosti. De tomatendip wordt zelf gemaakt, erg lekker. S zomers heerlijk ijs en Shakes.

Wat je ook eet of drinkt hier, alles is lekker. Voorkeur gaat uit naar de wentelteefjes met een glas gemberthee. En de ijsjes hmmmmm, zeLfs nu het kouder wordt. Ik maak daar ook mijn afspraken als ik in Amsterdam moet zijn. Zondags is het helemaal gezellig met jonge gezinnen. Krantje lezen, spelen met de spelletjes , alles is mogelijk.

Este lugar tiene excelentes panqueques / crepes holandeses y tortillas. Muy orientado a la familia. Un poco ruidoso y lleno de gente, pero vale la pena por la comida.
