A spacious cafe where you can always have a serious conversation about the things in life that are not so interesting

At first sight a nice and cozy pub. However, the service is really terribly rude and arrogant. I know that good service is not a given in Amsterdam, but with this guy I really had the feeling that he would rather get rid of me. And that is what happened. There are enough pubs in the area where you are served hospitably.

Visited as part of an event the bar was hosting. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good vibes.

Great brown bar, had a nice time several times in the past. Lately there has been a really tired poor guy in the service who clearly thinks he is too good for his job. I would say stay home if all you can do is roll your eyes while making rude remarks to your customers.

Top cafe, especially if you want to watch Ajax

There is a blonde woman working there that is very kind and gentle. Makes me want to come back over and over again.

Didn't stay long here but I can confirm they have the best NZ/ English pies in town for sure!

Great place for Food, drink, music and sports! Nice pint of Guinness too! Staff are attentive and the owner is very hospitable.

Real people, normal prices, talk a bit, drink a bit, watch a bit of sports, sing along a bit and of course a lot of john. But that's definitely a big plus!! and now 2024 fantastic fun again

Sports bar meets Irish pub, that's what you want. Food is more than in a pub, but of course not a restaurant. Bartender was trying hard but slightly disorganized, but also alone. Beer still tastes good!

I love going to this place for any occasion whether it’s a quick drink, a group event, or to catch an Ajax game. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed with incredibly friendly staff and a versatile setup. They pour one of the best Guinness in Amsterdam, but also deliver on all the Dutch favorites. A must visit if you are in Amsterdam West!

Only finger foods so don't bother with the menu but all in all a great pub with Guinness on the tap.

Great local spot to watch sport and drink a Guinness. My go-to spot thanks to the nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Always try to accommodate one or two screens for the game you want to watch. Has also become a popular spot for rugby during tournaments!

Great local pub, as close as you get to a great mix of an Amsterdam and British pub. They serve a really good Guinness. The staff is awesome. Helpful and very friendly! Also get frequented by a good mix of people. They also show football and Six Nations, which is great!

Leuk amsterdams café , voetbal , american football, alle sport te zien, divere speciaal bieren en borrelhapjes zoals bitterballen frikadellen etc, ook lekker voor een lunch en een top bedieding en personeel.

Bar eigenaar en zijn team zijn super vriendelijk. Had een geweldige top service tijdens de WK. Het muziek is jaren 80/90 tot aan pop. Heerlijke buurt cafe.

Mega! Die gegrillten Sandwiches und die Pommes sind wirklich gut, freundliche und familiäre Atmosphäre mit gut platzierten Fernsehern zum Fußball schauen. Personal sehr sehr nett! Essen mit Hand und Liebe gemacht <3

Top cafe, waar altijd iets georganiseerd wordt. Grote sportevenement worden uitgezonden en ze doen veel voor de buurt. Overdag een fijne huiskamer en savonds is het feest.

Och hemel. Napoli ajax gekeken. De baas was op voorhand al zenuwachtig. Wel een aardige vent. Na 2-0 huilend het pand verlaten. Maar goede tv's goede opstelling. Professionele bediening. Top.

Heerlijk ajax kunnen kijken, jammer van de score

Bediening is vriendelijk, maar de muziek is hard en vreselijk. De kipsate voor €9,50 is een onsmakelijk uitziend prutje, en de smaak niet om over naar huis te schrijven. Zal er niet nog een keer gaan borrelen.
