Beware! Tourists are systematically ripped off here (they'll be diligently adding lines to your "lid" behind the bar!!) Knowing this, we always paid for our drinks immediately, which meant we were skillfully ignored by the waitresses and had to wait a little longer for the next round each time. Their bad luck was unintentionally our good luck here. We ended up saving a lot of money that way, hehe xD. The biggest cheek of the evening: the bartender acts like a buddy and buys ONE "Jütterchen" (a German beer) AND then, without asking, coldly invites himself to the next one. Of course, the waitress promptly delivered the round without a long wait. Never experienced such cheek from a bartender before! We were also taken for fools: The original Jütterchen (a German beer) comes from a brown ceramic bottle. Here, it was poured from a transparent one. When asked if this was the original, the waitress just nodded and smiled in a way that couldn't have been more fake. The schnapps, by the way, cost €4 (about €2.50 about two years ago). In the "high-class" restaurant at Pal, they only charge €3 for it! Here, too, we were ripped off as tourists and taken for fools. Luckily for the proprietor: there are plenty of other stupid tourists getting up every morning to leave their money there. So, the likes of us, who will leave our money elsewhere on our next Texel vacation, hardly makes a difference to him. UNFORTUNATELY The only pro: they treated us to a quarter of an hour of 80s music between all the Dutch hometown tracks, so we could at least end up with something positive to report.

The four of us spontaneously went to De Jutter because we just wanted to play some billiards. Since the music and the atmosphere and the live acts from the owner were so good, the evening was unexpectedly long. Thank you for the lovely evening, we'll be back!

Best Cafe I've ever been to. Indicated to the bartender that I had to run a marathon the next day. The best man got me completely drunk. Went back the same evening to continue the trend.

Café de Jutter is a great reason to return to Texel. After the first evening, the second feels like coming home.

It's that we can't give 6 stars, otherwise we certainly would. The bar staff are phenomenal. They are fast, extremely friendly and fun. The music is great, the atmosphere is great. The singing bartenders complete the picture. There is nothing to complain about. Come see that! The party starts early so you can go to bed on time and cycle through the dunes the next day. Highly recommended!!!!

Super fun, nice music, a singing bartender, so what more could you want? Homemade meatballs, no fuss recommended!

We went to Café De Jutter almost every evening. Staff is very attentive. The boss himself, a great singer. Even the staff can sing. There is no boredom.

Cool pub with a nice bar. Boss is always in a good mood and is a musician himself. Therefore also a good selection of music with pleasant sound. Often with live music. We recommend!

Den freundlichsten Absacker ever getrunken, neue niederländische Freunde gemacht und sehr viel Spaß gehabt. Teilt sich mit Café De Cuip den ersten Platz in Sachen Connection, Spaß und gute Gäste. Einer der besten Abende unseres Urlaubs nach 20 Jahren Texelurlaub in Summe.

Gezellig donker cafe, met fijne vriendelijke uitbater. F1 op groot scherm en bij de drankjes lekkere hapjes. Ook een leuk terras . Zeker de moeite waard om er eens een drankje te doen.

Gestern Abend waren wir das erste mal im Cafe de Jutter und waren total begeistert. Nette Leute, leckeres Bier. Die Bedienung Nena und Niklas sind top, sehr freundlich und lustig. Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, da wir nur getrunken haben. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. 🥰 🍻

Ein absolutes Muss wenn man auf Texel ist. Gegen Abend gibt der Wirt meistens eine Gesang Einlage und die ist nicht schlecht

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert. Der beste ,urigste Pub der Insel . So eine tolle Kneipe findet man nicht in unserer Großstadt mit 500 000 Einwohnern.

Gezellige kroeg in de Koog op Texel. Voor de Coronapandemie ging ik zeker 2 keer per jaar richting Texel. De laatse weekend van augustus hebben ze op het eiland en zeker in de Koog een Topical Festival. Dat je optijd je boekingen moet doen snap je natuurlijk wel, het is dan vollebak op het eiland. Niet alleen met duitsers kan ik je vertellen.
