It seemed pleasant at first glance, but we were simply sent away and suddenly presented with the bill without a final round. After paying, we were immediately asked to leave the terrace; hospitality is something else entirely… Very disappointing!

I've been camping on Texel for four weeks now, and in that time I've visited Niklas and his team about ten times. It's a fantastic pub with incredibly nice, friendly, and accommodating people. I was welcomed like a friend and got to enjoy some great World Cup matches with the Dutch fans. The food and service are excellent. I feel very comfortable here and always enjoy coming back.

Great place, we watched the World Cup match against Ivory Coast here. Really nice customers, and the staff is great too. We had a fantastic evening here.

The drinks are really great. The selection covers everything from A to Z. They have beers from all over the island. It's a very quaint pub that also attracts many locals, creating a great atmosphere at all times. Inside there's a refrigerator where you can get a wide variety of beers whenever you like. Just take one and let the bartender know.

A lovely restaurant right in the pedestrian zone. The service is very friendly. The drink prices are a bit high, but that's the case everywhere around here.

I just looked to see if I could find some more information about this "Pub" on a website. It doesn't seem to be there, "Facebook & Instagram" doesn't work for me and someone with "principle reasons" without Social Media like "FB" and "Instagram". So I'll just keep looking for a Pub with a normal website and an online price list.

We had a wonderful time having drinks this evening. What a lovely woman behind the bar! (I think her name is Ingrid). We had some lovely conversations with her. Last night, my truck was on the island, so I found a bar and it was a great success. Highly recommended!

Very nice pub, friendly staff, but €14.40 for two beers is a bit too much. We would have liked to go there again, but the prices aren't exactly suitable for seniors.

We’ve visited this pub two years in a row while visiting Texel and it’s hands down our favorite place in town. If you’re in De Koog, you’ve got to stop in to sample all the local beers they have. Great ambiance, super friendly and helpful staff, and great vibes all around.

If only I could lift this pub and place it in Belgium! Had a very nice evening, thank you!

Great classic pub in the middle of town. A good selection of drinks and delicious bitterballen and co. There are a lot of locals there, it's easy to get chatting and the service is really great! We would like to come again!

Eine sehr gemütliche Kneipe im Ortskern. Tolle sehr nette einheimische Gäste die offen auf Touristen zu gehen. Leider ist nicht das komplette Personal dieser Meinung. Zu fortgeschrittener Stunde sind wir leider den Unmut eines Kellners in die Arme gelaufen. Getränke wurden passend auf den Tisch geknallt.... Schade eigentlich.
