Always good for a glass of wine and a snack. Delicious, individual small dishes, a bit of everything, and always clearly homemade. A fun way to experience something different than the standard bitterbal and chicken nuggets.

Great night on Texel. Thanks to the DJ for playing what I requested and to the friendly staff for making me feel at home. Great!!

Great cafe! Cozy atmosphere! And excellent service. Perfect for an afternoon of drinks and letting the ladies do some shopping.

Dark brown cafe, with good light on the plates. Delicious large fish salad for 15.50. Highly recommended. Instead of squid rings I got fried onion rings, a great alternative.

Took a long time, coffee tasted like it came from a machine at the dentist, 'Koffie Mans' with homemade delicacy was too greasy for me, smoking on the terrace... all in all, I would rather sit on a bench than waste my money here.

Class pub. It's hardly noticeable that the operator is an Ajax fan. Reservation definitely an advantage. We ate spare ribs. Quite ahead in terms of quality. The meat fell off the bone like that. Even though it was really busy, the service remained calm and friendly. You can really eat something good here. I would only deduct one star as a luxury problem: the Cola is Pepsi and Pepsi just doesn't taste good ;-) but everything was fine. We left full and that is the most important thing.

Highly recommended. Every year when we go to Texel. Just have a glass of wine. The owner always has nice tips for a nice outing. Also in winter

Reminiscent of a brown cafe. Super nice service, delicious soup. Excellent Texel beer looks like licorice water but tastes delicious. Coffee indeed in small cups but good taste. Staff keep coming to ask if it tastes good while I was stuffing my mouth. So could only nod. It did produce some hilarious moments at the service. (I suspect they did it on purpose).

We arrived on August 22 at 5:50 PM. Ordered 2 Pepsi Max and 2x the lamb stew with fries. Received 2 regular Pepsi, but that was nicely exchanged. People who came in half an hour after us already had their food. After almost an hour!! came the stew, but with rice. We said that we had ordered with fries, and the waiter took it back. A little later he came to say that it was not possible to exchange it for fries because it was very busy. Everyone around us had fries on their plates, so this was incomprehensible to us. In the end we only paid for the drinks and went to eat somewhere else. The service was friendly, but we will not return here.

Always nice to have a beer on the terrace, etc. to drink. The cafe also looks attractive. We had an excellent meal here in the evening. The staff is incredibly friendly. Definitely worth repeating for us.

Cozy and delicious food, just a shame that we didn't get a bill because we only used a pin voucher. Sent an email but received no response.

Leckerer Pfannkuchen mit Käse und Schinken. Das Cafe befindet sich in einer der Haupteinkaufsgassen. Hier kann man nett im Schatten sitzen und den Leuten beim Bummeln zu gucken und sich von seinem eigenen Bummeln ausruhen. :-)

Het gezelligste terras van Den Burg. Twee kopjes koffie besteld. De kopjes bleken niet veel groter te zijn dan espressokopjes. Eén kopje was maar half gevuld. Gelukkig kon dat worden bijgevuld. De apfelstrudels werden op merkwaardige, grote zwarte schalen geserveerd en leken in niets op apfelstrudel zoals je die in Oostenrijk krijgt. De slagroom zakte heel snel in tot een melkachtige substantie. €16 was wel veel geld voor het gebodene.

Goede koffie gehad en lekkere cheescake en apfelstrüdel. Vriendelijk personeel. Maar als je naar het toilet moet, moet je het niet hier doen. Vreselijk vies. Het is er nat en het stinkt. Er is zo weinig licht, dat je bijna niets ziet (dus eigelijk logisch dat het nat is)

Gezellig vriendelijk barkeeper. Texels bier ging er goed in. Met 6 man 200€ afgetikt. Vrolijke dames die een verjaardag feestje te vieren hadden. 21 jaar dan mag je een dansje doen op tafel.😂👍🏽 Leuk weekendje Texel.
