I was only there to pick up something. I thought it was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. You can also hold weddings and parties here. They have plenty of space and a few function rooms.

A genuine traditional pub in the city center and on the main shopping street. Unfortunately, we weren't able to eat anything. Inside, it's a huge space with plenty of seating.

An incredible place to visit! We experienced several blends of gin and had a great chat with barman..or..was he "a gin wizard"???!!😃 We would love to come back!!!!

Always super warm welcome by the guy [ sorry did not get your name ] who runs the bar - happy to get us extra bar snacks and even gifted us one of his extra cool beer glasses ! Hope to get back there soon .

It was an old bar, with a lot of interesting decorations brings you to the past. We order a beer and snaks. The waiter was kind and fast.

Service was good and bar staff are knowledgeable about the spirits being served. Nice selection of whiskies, although on the pricey side, but fine for the occasional drinker. In short, good thing.

Great pub/café. The place is nice and warm, and it preserves the old style of the café. The staff was super kind and welcoming, and the food was nice and comforting. Even the background music was great. Well... If you are in Leiden, it is surely worth a visit there for a beer and some bitterballen.

This is a very nice pub in Leiden on the Haarlemmerstraat. They have good beer and the people are very nice. The atmosphere is really great and this place is bigger than you think, which is why I love this pub.

Lucky with a window-seat and drinking their red star beer. Beautiful old pub, walking distance from the center and train station. Yes, a great gin & tonic menu too. Opened at 3 on a Thursday. Very friendly server lit all candles and the place looks fantastic.

Mooi bruin cafe in een winkelstraat, iets wat je helaas niet vaak ziet. De kastelijn is ook authentiek en kundig

Toffe kroeg, erg gastvrij, lekker bier en lekkere bitterballen. De kroegbaas ging ook rond met stokbroodjes met paling....om te smullen. Leuke afsluiting van ons allereerste dagje Leiden.

Goede biertjes en een uitgebreid assortiment aan whiskey's.

Inmiddels vaste stek. Alles top, bediening, sfeer, drank en spijs. Heerlijke osseworst!

Gezellige kroeg, lekker aan de bar hangen en de muziek staat tenminste niet zo hard zodat je elkaar nog kunt verstaan. Je hoeft ook niet meer naar Texel voor Schuumkopke en ook andere bieren van de tap hebben ze.

Leuk cafe met een lekker knus gevoel, drankjes mogen wel iets goedkoper maar dat geld voor elk café in Nederland.

Gezellige kroeg, midden in het centrum. Goed bier & vriendelijk personeel. Naar men zegt, is dit de oudste kroeg in Leiden. Veel originele details zijn behouden. Dat maakt het gezellig & bijzonder. Aanrader!
