We came here for a late breakfast and had two lattes, a Belgian waffle, and poffertjes. We were really pleasantly surprised – everything was absolutely delicious and truly amazed us. We definitely give the food 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service was also outstanding: friendly, attentive, and all around excellent. Another full 5 stars for that. The ambiance is appealing and has a very special charm thanks to the somewhat older building. We only noticed a slightly musty smell in the reception area upon entering. This is probably due to the age of the building. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and we felt very comfortable. Overall, a highly recommended place! We were particularly impressed by the delicious food and the great service. We'll gladly come back and can definitely recommend a visit. 😊

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. The appetizer – a piece of bread – didn't arrive for about 15 minutes. Then we waited another 35 minutes for our two main courses. When I inquired, it turned out that our order hadn't even been taken. Meanwhile, the server walked past our table several times without taking the empty appetizer plate. So we left. I can't comment on the food itself, but the service was an absolute disaster. A real shame.

Had a delicious meal, very friendly and efficient service. The food was on the table within 10 minutes. It was a welcome experience (after we hadn't received anything at the chain restaurant next door after 1.5 hours). Well done, our mood was completely restored.🤩

We arrived here on Sunday around 7:00 PM. It was quiet, only 5 tables. At first, everything went well. We received our starter and drinks. After that, the staff became busier talking to each other and noticed that we were empty. We waited 20 minutes. Then we paid and went to look for another restaurant.

One of the highlights was being able to sit outside, people-watch, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of Maastricht. The buzz of the city, combined with the lovely weather, made it such an enjoyable and relaxing meal. Great food, great ambiance, and a perfect spot to spend an afternoon. We will definitely be back!

We ordered sandwiches, and then we received sandwiches that were moldy. The waitress took them back to the kitchen and we were told we would get new sandwiches. We got the same moldy sandwiches back. Truly incredibly rude and shameless. We didn't receive an apology either. So check your food carefully at this café. In any case, I will never eat or drink there again.

A very cozy cafe! We enjoyed a delicious three-course dinner here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the barman was exceptionally friendly. He served the bottle of wine expertly and attentively, something you don't often see in a cafe. Both the food and the wine were excellent value for money. Definitely a place we'd love to return to!

A cozy and well-frequented cafe/tavern, offering delicious food at a reasonable price. There are a few drinks outside, and the place is narrow. The toilet is on the first floor, up a fairly steep staircase.

We had lunch. Luckily, there was still a spot available. The food was delicious; we had a pork belly pistolet and onion soup. Unfortunately, no photos.

All was great. I ate and ate and ate and went to bed afterwards because I was tired. The food was straight up bussin, 67, 67, 67. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this café. Cup dishes from previous guests remained on our table all evening and were never cleared. Furthermore, our order was not taken completely. The server apparently decided for herself what to write down and what not to. In the end, several dishes we had selected were missing. We were told that we had "taken too long to order," and therefore these items had not been taken or brought to us—which we found very unprofessional. Throughout the entire evening, the staff barely came to our table, and we felt completely ignored. Unfortunately, our overall impression of the visit was very negative. For this reason, we cannot recommend this café.

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff. I haven't seen a Greek chicken sandwich on the menu anywhere else, and the club sandwich is amazing. We'll definitely be back. The only downside is that the toilet is upstairs, which is difficult for me because climbing stairs takes a lot of energy.

The covered and heated patio is actually the best part. Cozy, dry, and warm enough to make you forget for a moment that you're mostly just waiting... and waiting some more. The service is friendly, absolutely, but clearly still searching for what's right. Orders seem to take their own path along the way, meaning not everything seems to arrive correctly at once. After more than 30 minutes, the nachos finally arrived—and not because a chef was struggling to prepare them. Mediocre, almost so meager that they even apologized. And then, paying €30 for two glasses of white wine, this meager portion of nachos, and a chocolate milk... well, let's put it this way: my expectations were higher than what ultimately arrived. All in all: pleasant seating and friendly service, but for this level of service and this wait time, mostly... meh.

Lunch in the city that will be our city from as of next year. An ‘12 uurtje’ and a sandwich Greece chicken. Busy but a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

This restaurant is another gem in the center of Maastricht. All main meals are €17.50. It's accessible, and the food is delicious. Outside, under the heat lamps, you'll feel like you're in one of the quiet side streets of Paris. Inside, it's a bit more "wild," with cozy (and recognizable) music, and you'll feel 10 (or 20) years younger. A perfect spot for a night out with food and music. Finally, Maastricht has a place like this again.

A lovely spot to sit inside or outside in Maastricht. We had Limburgs zurevlees (Limburgish sour meat). I found this disappointing, especially in Limburg. It was more of a stew with lots of liquid and little meat. For such a regional dish, I was a bit disappointed. The staff was very friendly and were quick to take orders. It's a fine place, but nothing special.

Good food for a good price✨ Social deal for €20, three courses, wide selection. The only downside was that it took quite a while.

Een heel gezellige plek voor een koffietje / lunch tijdens het winkelen / het verkennen van de stad. De bediening is er steeds ontzettend vriendelijk. Het enige puntje van feedback is dat de ober vaak direct komt voor op te nemen, wat soms voor mensen die het nog niet weten wat snel is. We zijn hier ondertussen 2 x geweest en het was twee keer heel aangenaam.

Really great place to celebrate birthdays! I celebrated my birthday here and Glenn, the manager, allowed my friends and I to have our own space at the back of the bar. The service was great, servers were friendly and fast, and music was also a lot of fun on weekends! Recommended!

Bediening liet te wensen over. Was niet alert en miste daardoor toch wel wat drankjes. En dat terwijl de zaak allesbehalve vol zat. Porties toch wel karig sinds vorig jaar en eten was ook niet bijzonder ( de uiensoep was wel helemaal OK overigens). De gezellige sfeer is een beetje weg, helaas.

We ate here before Andre Rieu concert 2024. It was hard to find a place to eat that was not already booked. We were lucky to come here and enjoyed it very much. Ate at 5pm, had schnitzel and fries it came with side salad and sauce. The music playing was just right too. Not too loud or bassy we could eat and chat and hear each other. They played som good music. Prices were about right not too expensive and a good portion. I recommend this place. We are in our 60s. Toilet is up steep stairs so not good for disabled.

The café is located in a quieter spot in the center. This means you can sit comfortably on the terrace. And it is also attractive inside because of the good music, the decor and friendly service. The new owner has turned it into a pleasant place. 👍🏼

Cappuccino tasty, but only lukewarm. Bread with fried egg was okay. Poffertjes were no longer available (obviously from the bag). Yoghurt with granola and "fresh fruit" was a joke - exactly 12 currants, that's it with fruit. Plus cheap crunchy muesli and standard yogurt. Zack, €8.50.

Super nice place in the center of Maastricht! You can sit on the spacious terrace, which is also nice and quiet because it is located on the side of the building. Delicious food and very pleasant. You can also have a drink on Friday and Saturday.

Ieder een uitsmijter genomen. Niet gevraagd werd wel soort brood. De drie eieren werden met ham en kaas op 1 snee brood geserveerd met wat sla, voorzien van 3 druppels dressing. Inderdaad voor ons de uitsmijter, m.a.w. nooit meer. De bediening was goed en vriendelijk. Maar blijkbaar snel rijk worden met een matige hoeveelheid en kwaliteit.

The menu is unclear about which dishes are/are not vegetarian. It took a long time for the food to arrive and the sandwich was cold. It was probably ready a lot earlier than the other dish (bouncer) and had already cooled down completely. The sandwich was no more than a slice of white with ham and cheese in between and a little ketchup, which is of course not bad for a sandwich, but €8.50 is on the expensive side (€3.50 would be more appropriate ). The bouncer was also much too salty. We did not have the chance to report it to the staff, because they did not come once to ask if everything was to our liking.

The menu was very unclear, as became clear when I got the dish on the table after 45 minutes of talking and writing. I ordered a trio of fish (I assumed warm fish served with fries). What I got were 3 half slices of brown with rich Norwegian salmon on 1 slice. The other two half slices were a lot of mayonnaise for me, I couldn't taste any fish, the same with the croquette, more roux and breadcrumbs, don't ask me what they put in it, because you can't taste it! I immediately expressed my disappointment regarding the lack of clarity on the menu and that I had not expected sandwiches. The service was very friendly and still wanted to give me fries, but I rejected this because the combination did not match the cold toppings. I then received a drink to compensate. The gentlemen were and remained friendly, which deserves the 4 stars and so does the atmosphere. Unfortunately, I can only rate my food with 2 stars, because of the confusion and the cost and I could not tell from the other two half slices which fish it was. Therefore only 2 stars. I imagined my birthday lunch differently.

Sinds november overgenomen, niet ten goede helaas. We kwamen hier al jaren naar volle tevredenheid. Nu helaas een aantal negatieve punten. Ingekort menu, enkele van onze favoriete dingen zijn helaas niet meer te krijgen. De overgebleven gerechten zijn (soms behoorlijk) in prijs verhoogd. De porties zijn kleiner en minder goed gepresenteerd. Een eenvoudige burger op een groot bord ziet er niet fraai uit. Een klein mandje frietjes voor twee. Helaas viel ook de kwaliteit tegen, het Maastrichts zuurvlees dat alltijd prima was hier, smaakte nu alsof het uit een verpakking kwam. Alles bij elkaar ben ik bang dat deze langdurige favoriet van het lijstje wordt geschrapt.

For my taste a little to dark interieur, but still very cosy and comfy. And the service was excellently friendly and quick, after 1 minute m, dog had water, after 5 everything was served. I expected a small cheese bread for 7eur, but it was really a lot and also very tasty. On top it also looked great. You can definetly get a very decent coffee there, all in all I payed 10 Euro for a breakfast-like bread with salad, tomato's, cheese and majo + Cappuccino. For that lokation, so downtown, it was not only cheap but also very good. Realy very recommendable. Thanks to the waitress for that friendly experience.

Lunch in Maastricht was taken at this corner restaurant which offered both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu had an excellent range of meals on offer, including local specialities. The service was excellent and the ood delicious. I did have a slight problem with my meal, in that the meat was too rare for me, but this was speedily resolved without issue. An excellent atmosphere pervayed the restaurant and it was clearly popular with locals.

We kozen de tapas van de menu expecting to get something good. Instead of tapas we got some fried goods right out of the freezer. Totally tasteless with some sauce out of a can. We never got anything as bad bad as this. Nothing to do with tapas whatsoever. It was more more like a pile of bad fried snacks. BEWARE

Een heel gezellig eetcafé waar je lekker kan lunchen. Aanrader voor als je in Maastricht bent. De kaart is uitgebreid genoeg dus er is voor ieder wat wils. Als je minder goed ter been bent is naar het toilet gaan geen aanrader.

Heerlijke mosselen ook de frites met zuurverdiende waren lekker. Wel lang gewacht op het eten. Tip vraag bij het uitreiken van de kaart wat de gasten willen drinken. We komen er graag als we in Maastricht zijn.

Klein restaurantje/Cafe, met zeer vriendelijk en snel personeel. Het eten daarintegen is niet van topkwaliteit. De spaghetti is doorkookt, de saus is lopend, en je krijgt maar een druppel. De zalmburger is ok, zalm is goed gebakken maar povertjes geserveerd.

Hier zitten en wat eten was echt een verademing. Wat een lieve, enthousiaste serveerster! Je kon aan alles merken dat ze passie had voor het vak. Het eten was ook erg lekker. De carpaccio was mals en de tosti’s waren goed met goed gesmolten kaas. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is echt top! Wat ook fijn was, waren de schone toiletten. Zeker een aanrader als je in Maastricht bent!
