Not friendly at all Bagbaguette is very hard and very dry. And no time to look at the menu either Never again !!!

Outside, the prices on the menu are different, and inside they charge an extra 2 euros for that same sandwich. We ordered two sandwiches; an extra 2 euros was added to one, and on the second, they charged an extra 5.50. And when I ask for an explanation, I get no answer. According to the employee, it is what it is. I feel ripped off.

We bought it there but they did not let us sit. How does that makes sense?

The carpaccio is extremely tough and it is apparently difficult to get it between the bread roll... It was lying loosely on top....

Outside at the takeaway, the sandwiches are a lot cheaper, and then you think: fine, inside it’s more special. The fillet sandwich at the takeaway does contain egg, but inside you have to pay extra for egg. I also got a sliced ​​baguette with a container of fillet and was allowed to make my own sandwich. “Served” doesn’t do it justice. And you pay more for that…. Just buy your sandwich outside and go sit inside :)

Very large portions, tasty and fresh!

The sandwich was tasty, but sitting there was super unpleasant because of the workers; they were abnormally loud and walking around screaming and laughing. I couldn't even hear my girlfriend talking. A nice atmosphere with colleagues is certainly allowed, but being so loud and everywhere wasn't very professional... and very overwhelming. At one point, I thought there was a rat inside because of the way they were walking. But the sandwich was tasty.

I was here with two friends and walked in with a happy face and walked out with a depressed head. It started with the entrance; with my happy face I walked inside and we were NOT greeted, so we quickly walked through to the table. Well, that was fine, enough space, nice tables. Next, THE MENU: little choice compared to other branches and very pricey. No basic options like a simple chicken curry sandwich. I had a "Liège" waffle. Well, there wasn't much Liège about it; it probably came from the cellar. My other friend had a cheese sandwich and she almost didn't live to tell the tale. A third-degree burn and it looked like a mutated apple turnover. My second friend had a "baguette" which she had to prepare herself, by the way; the filet American almost glowed in the dark. And the baguette looked like a paving stone and was even colder than the staff. The lettuce had existed longer than I have. Well, just make your healthy sandwich at home, cheaper and tastier, and you'll definitely be able to tell the tale!

They left customers standing outside in the cold because you have to pay extra to sit inside and eat. On top of that, you aren't allowed to stand inside on a warm table because you have to pay extra too????? Seriously? Very bad service and staff. On top of that, the food is very bad and not tasty, that is the truth.

9 euros for a baguette with 3 cheese slices 😂 The garnish is 2 cucumber slices and 1 tomato slice. The soup came out of a carton, and the meatballs weren't tasty. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant is clean and cozy.

Had breakfast here on December 24th with a family of 2 children (ages 10/14). Highly recommended, great price and good service. Simply value for money.

The staff here is a disgrace. I used to eat here regularly (inside!) with my mother, who was repeatedly scolded by the guy who works there. Every single time. Incidentally, if you order a sandwich, it's either barely baked or so hard you could smash a window with it. The toppings are put in a container next to it, so you can add your own, and that for €8-10. We waited 20 minutes for a cappuccino. After mentioning this, we were told, "Yes, it's very busy, but it will be there." Then it arrived within two minutes, cold. So, just forgotten. Anyway, I didn't say anything. Today, my friend and I ordered a pastry outside that was supposed to be "warmed." It all took a long time, and it started pouring rain. Last time, we were asked if we wanted to eat inside because it was raining, so today we thought we'd just sit inside. The same guy sent us away again because "we'd already ordered outside." Fine, but this should be clearly indicated somewhere and communicated in a normal, customer-friendly manner. You can charge a service fee, but you don't get that service if you eat inside either; you just pay more to sit in an uninviting aisle. So we went back outside, waited 10 minutes for a pastry that was still freezing cold inside, and the girl behind the counter forgot to let us pay. We were honest and pointed it out, but the price isn't worth it. I've read several reviews with the same complaint, so that says something about the "service."

The food was okay, but I ordered a pizza taco and I got half of a baguette. So be careful with this, and make sure to ask the staff.

The female staff is disrespectful, and I lowered my rating to 1 star because when I arrived today, they mocked me for my review. It's unbelievable how rude they are! This place should be shut down.

When ordering a sandwich to go, you're required to do so outside. As soon as you try to order inside, you're rudely ushered out by a middle-aged woman with a short, snappy haircut. Even if you want to wait inside for your order due to the bad weather, you're sent outside again. The sandwich itself isn't anything special, and the baguette wasn't fresh either. There are definitely better places in Maastricht to get a sandwich where you're treated like a normal customer.

The price-quality ratio is simply excellent. It's not cozy, but it is nice and cozy. 👍 Tip: put on some music. 😁

⭐ 1 star Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience here. I ordered a coffee, which was served with a portion of cream containing alcohol — without any warning. As a Muslim, I cannot consume alcohol, and I pointed this out immediately. The staff responded by saying, “it’s just a little” and “it’s not a big deal.” There was no real apology, no understanding. I explained calmly that I could not drink the coffee because of my beliefs and that I didn’t think I should have to pay for it. I even mentioned how dangerous this could be if, for example, a child unknowingly consumed it. Still, at the register, they insisted I pay. I ended up paying, but I left laughing in disbelief, thinking: Wow. A place like this doesn’t deserve any more customers. If you care about transparency, respect for dietary or religious restrictions, or basic customer service. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Had a very nice breakfast at the Delifrance in Maastricht. The service was top notch with very friendly employees.

The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place.

There were a lot of people waiting outside, and it seemed like one person was helping them all. Since we only wanted drinks, I went inside, but I was quickly rudely ushered outside. The two women even joked and laughed at me, telling me to go back outside. It was very unfriendly and not hospitality-worthy. The two women stood there for minutes doing nothing; they could have been helping people at the window.

Tourists take note: AS A LOCAL in Maastricht, take note! I scanned the QR code on the card; the prices were more than €1.50 to €2 cheaper (than the card with this code). I reported this to the manager, who spoke negatively and disinterestedly, saying that these (cheaper) prices from the QR code weren't valid yet! The female manager was unfriendly and uninterested, even though I had already paid the full, higher price. Furthermore, the cola was in a still glass! The sandwich was quite sparsely filled, which wasn't worth the money. The manager's negative attitude made it even harder for me to eat. They'll never see me again! ☹️☹️☹️

I get a sandwich almost every day at Delifrance on the Grote Staat, normally always ok, today I ate a sandwich with my husband, Brie sandwich with honey and pine nuts, sandwich had minimal filling, most of the sandwich was not filled and that for € 11 Employees should pay more attention to the sandwiches and to their guests instead of skipping and dancing with each other behind the counter. Too bad I won't be eating or picking up a sandwich here again anytime soon

The most expensive sandwich on the menu is filled with a hollow molar! Where do they get the nerve to charge 14 euros for a sandwich filled with only 3 thin slices of salmon and 2 measly strips of brie. Scandalous

Would like to sit inside. Unfortunately this was refused because we had ordered a sandwich outside. This was not conveyed very kindly.

Food was okay nothing special. My low reputation is because they refuse to serve me a glass of water from the tap or their fresh water (something much better for the environment) that ordering a glass or plastic bottle that it’s put in your glass.

We took a baguette for breakfast here. The baguette was nice and crispy and the topping was very fresh. To be honest, the coffee was just ok. Next time I'd rather get it from a barista, but that's perhaps my own requirement for a coffee

There are several Delifrance in Maastricht, but the service, passion and friendliness of the staff in this store is the best in the city. The bread here is always well filled with ingredients, especially if you ask for it (extra onion or something). Highly recommended.

Helaas vergeten een foto te maken van de luxe lunch plank. Je kunt kiezen uit een soep (ik had de uiensoep) en er worden 3 bolletjes brood bij geserveerd: roombrie met honing, carpaccio en gerookte zalm. Eerlijk gezegd was ik verrast want het was 100% heerlijk

Das Frühstück ist gut und die Auswahl ist ausreichend, der Service ist freundlich. ABER wir waren hier kurz nach Ladenöffnung und der Gastraum ist einfach dreckig und die Toilette vor soviel Schmutz kaum betretbar. Gerade dort, Speisen zubereitet & serviert werden, sollte definitiv mehr auf Hygiene und Sauberkeit geachtet werden. Daher wohlwollende 3 Sterne...

Vriendelijk onthaal en bediening. Lekkere smoked chicken wrap gegeten en een grote koffie om u tegen te zeggen. Advocaat, cakeje, 2 suikers en 2 melkjes erbij, waar krijg je dat nog. 1 puntje minder voor het feit dat mijn tafel niet (goed) gepoetst bleek na de vorige klant.

Super lekkere lunch gehad! Goede cappuccino. Het pand is vooraan wat smal en naast de oven wordt het al snel heel erg warm, maar achterin kun je prima zitten. Bediening is vriendelijk en snel.

Prima tentje voor een goede hap. Vriendelijk, ook als het erg druk is. Ik had de bagette zalm brie en de brie overheerste wel vrij sterk. Brie heeft n sterkere smaak dan zalm, maar de smaak van zalm was er bijna helemaal niet. Mijn partner had iets met kip en die was uitstekend. Toch 4 sterren omdat de bediening meer dan goed en vriendelijk is.
