Café Kuijper in Dapperbuurt

Bij café Kuijpers heb ik met een vriend een leuke en gezellige middag doorgebracht. Wij zijn gestart met een twaalf uurtje en een pittige kip, begeleid door koffie en, later, een redelijke chardonnay. Dat bleek een prima lunch. Omdat het spraakwater maar bleef doorlopen, bestelden wij er de gehaktballetjes van De Wit: lekker! Aangekomen bij de tweede fles chardonnay maakten wij onze verlate lunch af met een portie frites, mooi dun gesneden en prima van smaak. Voor deze uitgelopen lunch van bijna 3,5 uur rekenden wij 115 euro af, een prima prijs-/kwaliteitverhouding. Veel dank aan barman Strijder en zijn brigade. Tot een volgende keer!

Horrible Service. Incredible unfriendly! Saturday 28th September 2024 ...13:00. Food good, Ambiente good but please change the service! This person should not work with people! Still waiting on coffe...while she ignoring you on purpose! 13:30 still no coffe! Definitely won't come again!

we hadden lauwe capuccino en latte macciato; op de lepel van de latte zat bruine aanslag (van thee?) en daar kom je pas achter na consumptie van een lepel melkschuim.....

Nice chill place to have a drink

Atmosphere was fun but the food and service were terrible. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and French fries. The burger arrived cold and undercooked. We were forced to refill our drinks at the bar because our server was absent for long stretches of time.

Cozy pub with a good selection of draft beer, otherwise the usual offerings. Covered terrace. Rather younger audience, but they weren't looked at askance 😉. Haven't eaten anything. Visited several times to have a nightcap before returning to "The Mannor" next door. Well attended, no problem as a couple, difficult with more people in the evening.

Super friendly and relaxed bar. Wanted to sit outside on the large patio initially, but it was cooling down so we grabbed a drink inside. Great staff, and solid drinks.

Scandalously bad overpriced cafe!!! Not recommended, don't come here!!! The atmosphere was cozy but we created it ourselves :)

Great atmosphere! Had that local pub feel where everybody knew each other, and they were still welcoming to strangers (as long as you cheered for Ajax FC)!

Nearest bar to the Manor 👍 Sat inside for evening beer or two and enjoyed the vibe. Bit pricey but I think that is the case everywhere 🤔 Defo try it

Wir haben ein sehr gemütliches, landestypisches Frühstück (Uitsmijter ist zu empfehlen) genossen, Portionen sind gut, und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Zwar nur eine kleine Karte. dafür geschmacklich aber sehr gut! Location sehr chillig am späten Vormittag…

Nice bar close to Ooster Park. Gets the full sun most of the day. Nice cocktails but pricey at just under €13 but that seems to be the same price at other bars. Great cheese natchos, definitely recommend for 2 to share.

We had a very nice lunch at Cafe Kuiper.The service was perfect service, the drinks and food were great, and it is a really lovely place (inside and terrace),. We definitely will come back for lunch or for drinks in the evening (reportedly also nice). We strongly recommend!

Amazing location, nice beers, great place to hang out. Unfortunately, the waiter had an extreme off-day, not sure what his problem was but it reflected on the service. Van imagine that the place would be one of the top places in Amsterdam East if the service was up to par.

Ben niet zo een fan van 3wo horeca maar Kuijper heeft een top terras en goed personeel. Met voetbal wel echt een import ballen bende maarja helaas dat is bijna overal

Lievelingstent in Amsterdam! Eten is top & voor de borrel, ze komen altijd precies op het juiste moment je glas weer vullen. Laatst ook mijn verjaardag daar gevierd ook heel prettig geregeld allemaal!

Experiencia neerlandesa auténtica. El barman me asesoró de la mejor manera posible para que pudiera experimentar cervezas locales de estación junto con snacks típicos de Amsterdam. El ambiente es fabuloso, con buena música y gente amable. Voy a volver!

Nice place with good food and decent service.

Locatie. Prettige inrichting. Goed aanbod. Zeer goed personeel. Nieuw : muziek zo hard dat personeel naar elkaar moet schreeuwen. Briljant.

Nice place to share a lovely and sunny afternoon

Very friendly staff and top notch food. For 12€ you can get a huge delicious toast with cheese, egg, bacon and more, as well as french fries. Portions are large and filling. Definitely recommend this place.

המקום עם אווירה ממש חמימה ונעימה. זה גם בית קפה וגם בר. אכלנו ארוחת בוקר טעימה ביום שבת, הזמנו את חביתה עם אבוקדו ועגבנייה. הביצים היו רכות והאבוקדו טרי וטוב. לצד זה שתייה, מיץ תפוזים סחוט טרי. עם הקפה קיבלנו בצד חתיכת עוגה. מומלץ מאוד!

Altijd druk maar ik snap waarom! Nacho's zijn echt een aanrader en het is altijd gezellig qua sfeer.

Ging met m’n vrienden naar deze kroeg om Wales-Engeland te kijken. Heb niks van de wedstrijd meegekregen omdat de barman te grappig was. Bier kon ie niet tappen, moppen wel!

Estive no local e fiquei na parte interna (há outro ambiente com mesas ao ar livre), pedi Ovos Florentine (vegetarianos) e estavam lindos e saborosos. A média dos pratos é 10 euros. Também servem drinks e aperitivos.
