My wife and I stumbled upon this place by chance, but we ended up spending the entire evening there. The atmosphere is fantastic. We discovered it on our last night; otherwise, we would definitely have returned. There's also darts and a slot machine inside. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The people are very natural; there's no pretentious atmosphere. I personally really enjoyed the Texels beer; it depends on your taste, of course. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Amsterdam. We were there with a group of 20 people. It was quite cozy, but we knew how to handle ourselves. The bartender was friendly and really personable. The atmosphere was really lively. We loved it. The prices were absolutely fair and the music was great. We felt at home there.

Popped in for a drink. The staff were extremely friendly, the place has an old fashioned pub feel, and it was a pleasant place to drink.

The coziness and style of a good old Irish pub, here reigns a unique atmosphere and hospitality. It is immediately obvious that this is a place with a rich history and its own character. The facade of the pub looks very authentic: dark wood, large windows through which you can see the warm glow inside, and hanging planters that add coziness. Once inside, you immerse yourself in a world of subdued light and traditional decor. The dark wood bar counter is the center of attraction. The friendly barman seems to be always ready to serve visitors. Above the bar hang interesting wrought iron chandeliers emitting a soft amber light, which creates a very cozy and homely atmosphere. The clock on the wall adds a sense of time, as if it slows down here. The walls of the pub are decorated with old paintings, engravings and, most notably, a wine barrel built right into the wall - this adds uniqueness and reminds of the rich traditions of pubs. Patterned wallpaper and wood panelling at the bottom of the walls emphasise the classic style. And of course, it is impossible not to mention the main thing - the perfect pint of Guinness. Thick, creamy foam, characteristic dark colour - this is a clear sign that they know a lot about good beer here. It looks so appetising that you want to immediately order the same. The pub gives the impression of a place where you can relax after a long day, enjoy a great drink and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a real Irish pub. This is the perfect place for a quick visit or for a long, leisurely evening with friends. Definitely recommend visiting!

It's a very nice cafe, the owner is very nice, the atmosphere is calm and not too crowded, and it's non-smoking. The beers are delicious. If you are alone or a traveler, you can come and play darts with the people at the bar or talk to the bartender, they play great music. It is recommended. Note: Don't say you are a Chelsea fan :D

When we found ourselves in immediate danger, we ran into the bar, seeking refuge. The staff welcomed us with open arms, offering not only a safe haven but also emotional support during an incredibly frightening time. They ensured that we were well taken care of, providing food, comfort, and reassurance when we needed it most. What truly stood out was their unwavering generosity—the team refused to let us pay for anything, showing that their commitment to our safety and well-being far exceeded any financial considerations. Furthermore, the staff went above and beyond, personally escorting us to our hotel once the danger had passed, ensuring that we remained safe until we were out of harm's way. In times of fear and uncertainty, the kindness and selflessness of these individuals were a beacon of hope, and we will forever be grateful for the refuge they provided. Best place to get Guinness in your own in town. Very friendly and easy going atmosphere. Dutch old timers and tourists and expat regulars jostle cozily under the classic brown bar lighting … darts are a bonus.

What a lovely place this! I guarantee if you step inside you don't want to leave! It is cosy but the friendly atmosphere makes the place complete. We enjoyed a drink & the Lady behind the bar was super nice! A mix of local people (who definitely make the place) & Tourists. We watched a dart competition for a while & left to eat next door & came back. I definitely will be back here 💞

Authentic pub in the heart of Amsterdam! Best thing about this pub, besides the drinks and the coziness, was the bartender! He had such a good vibe and knew all the lyrics to all the songs that were playing and he even has pretty good dancemoves! You can also play darts and the small couches for 2 peoples, or 3 if you wanna cuddle :P, are really comfy!
